Battle of the Rend

Jerus allowed the others to go ahead of him, including the team from the Glasgow. "Go ahead, I'll be fine, trust me." Though that gained him skeptical looks from the group, they obliged him, launching themselves ahead of him. As the barrier fell, he used the Force to fortify himself and reach out into the inky blackness that made up outer space. Finding one of the strange ships, he grasped the end of it's barrel and crushed it, hoping that next time it fired, it would blow itself up. Afterwards, he leap out towards the alien dropship and aimed for the light.

A second later, he arrived inside it just in time to hear the little alien state that ten seconds was twice as long as the time before. "Can I ask why you guys don't have some kind of SOP? For, like, twenty seconds?" The inside of the ship was more rounded than the inside of a LAA/T, but it was clear that it was good at it's job, so he didn't comment.

Jason opened his mouth to prod a little further before simply nodding, turning for the exit the others had taken. "I suppose that's for the best for now. Thank you for the save." It didn't take him long to catch up to his guards and Sheppard and once he had, he spoke. "Teleportation technology, huh? That never ends well in our universe."
Jerus Je'and

"Hayden won't let Jude do anything to her. She might not be with her family, but her parents instilled some damn good morals." Reaching the end of the lift's ride, I land while waiting on them to step out. "And if the gangs are joining the Mandalorians...Wait, what about the Revolution? If Salazar's kids were in Mandalorian custody, Ava might have had them go out and recruit what was left of the Revolution to their cause. That might be why the gangs are joining them."
Jerus Je'and

As expected, HJ's passphrases and codes got us onto the planet with no issue and all Mandalorian units were informed of what we looked like so as to avoid getting us shot, but even though my tracker had lead us to where Jude had left Xan's ship, he and Hayden had already abandoned it by that point. We had gone east from there, positive the pair would do everything they could to avoid the Mandalorians due to Ava's and HJ's relationship, except I knew enough about the clans to know most of them wouldn't approve of it.

"They'd have likely gone down a few levels where the fighting isn't as thick. Less chance of being spotted and less chance of Korre getting caught by an artillery blast." I jetpacked down a level while Becca took the lift, my twin blasters searching for signs of trouble. "Plus the street gangs would be a lot easier to scare off right now."

My hand comes down on Jude's shoulder and grips it; hard. "While you are in our care, you WILL treat her well, or I will put my bes'kad through your heart myself. The only reason I do not uphold Manda'lor's alliance with HJ at this moment is because of the emotion that drives it and the glory to be found in my people thinking they do this at Manda'lor's behest without interference from her love interest. If you do ANYTHING to endanger that, well," I release my grip as I turn to head back towards the hotel, "your father will be the least of your concerns." I stop and look at the girl. "As for Manda'lor's wrath, I do not fear it as she trusts my judgement. Remember that, handmaiden." I bite off the last word with a touch of venom and continue on.
@DisturbedSpec So...Broadswords weren't around until 2554. You're about four years early on those.
TOTALLY blanked on that; it'll be up soon! Also, ah... I can imagine about 20,000 souls having flashbacks of The Flood. This is going to be... interesting.

Zerg are dead. No need to worry about that.

Just one thing missing mate.

I take a moment to consider things and then nod. "Very well, but you'll have to make due with some of the lower levels of the hotel we're in. Just as a precaution until we take out the dome shield."

The moment Jude pulls his lightsaber, I rest a hand on my blaster pistol, a snarl leaving my lips. "Do not question my honor, whelp, or I'll put you down where you stand before you can thumb the activator on your lightsaber. I have already stated that I have no interest in the planning and plots of either the Twilights or the Je'ands and that remains." My stance on their own planning made, I continue. "The girl is of little importance to our push into the Presidential Palace, so I care not for what you do with her. But if Sucal IS after her, and we have cornered him, you would be wise to remember that there is no animal more dangerous in all the galaxy than one that is cornered."
Bridge of the Dawn

"Not quite that simple." Jerus walks over and hauls the admiral to his feet as he's looking at the orange armored mercenary disapprovingly. "That's not glass, that's transparisteel, combat grade. You'll have to blast it open with some high grade explosives. Hope you brought some."
