Current Sometimes you spend so long looking for peace in someone else, you loose sight of that peace you can give yourself. Don't forget that guys.

So many writing ideas, so little time to write. Being an adult sucks...

There is a madness to my method. Or is there a method to my madness?

I approached Gendry's fallen form and and slice his lightsaber into uselessness before turning to him. Despite everything he'd done to my family and the innocents who's lives he'd both taken and destroyed, a part of me could see the future that the young man might have had if things had been a little bit different. "Rest in peace, Gendry, and may you find peace in the Force." And with that, the orange bladed lightsaber lances out and takes off his head, sending it rolling down the hallway.

I deflect Gendry's first strike and launch an offensive, forcing him back and testing his defenses for an opening. After a couple of blows, I find one and exploit it, my right saber spinning around and slicing through his tubing, sending the yellow liquid across the floor.
Jerus Je'and

I deflect the blows with only a single blade, letting his saber bite into the floor on either side of me for several minutes before I counter attack, my twin blades lancing forwards without warning before alternating high, low, and midriff strikes in quick succession. We resume trading blows more traditionally before we break apart again. I circle to the left and he to the right as we try to find openings in each other's movements.

"Reminder: Foot tapping does not make it go faster."

Jerus Je'and

"What in the hell..." I'm not given much of a chance to consider what I had just seen however as I'm forced to avoid his first strike and deflect his second. However, I know what's afoot after that. "Stims, Gendry? My, how the mighty have fallen. Won't lie, your mouth not runnin' is a nice change of pace."
Jerus Je'and

Rather than straight up trying to match Gendry blow for blow when he strikes, I deflect the blows to either side, allowing the force of his strikes to carry him further forward than he's prepared for. After the sixth strike, I spin around him and plant a kick into his back, stumbling him forwards. His new augments certainly seemed to slow him down, but the trade off was power and even I knew that one solid hit from him would likely bite through even the resistant beskar iron of my armor.
Jerus Je'and

My left hand saber deflects the blow expertly upwards as I deactivate my right hand saber and clip it, grabbing his arm and flipping him against the elevator door before dancing back and redrawing my extra saber. "What's this? The illustrious Gendry silent? I hope Iwan gave you one hell of a beating before you somehow overpowered him. Though I supposed he did, given your current state."
Jerus Je'and

I step between HJ and the mess of man and machine in front of me, my blasters getting holstered in favor of my twin lightsabers. "Keep going, I'll deal with this."
Jerus Je'and

"She'd be worthless to him without her ability to feed on the Force, HJ. He likely found some other way to force her cooperation, but I can tell you right now what happened to Tython wasn't by her choice."
Jerus Je'and

As I finish setting up our control point, I hear HJ and patch in. "Caelyn, forget using the Force. Focus on using your skill with your blade. Turn controlled and aimed slashes into wide sweeps that take out multiple enemies at once. They don't seem too bright."
HK-49 "Hank"

I blast the controls for the door from our side before producing a strange grenade of some kind. Attaching it to the center of the doors, where they would part when opens, I tap the activator three times and step back as it goes off, welding the door shut as well. "Statment: Job's done."

Jerus Je'and

I head over to the side door I'd pointed out before and beckon HJ and Hank over. "Then let's move fast. They likely haven't even considered this door and I can hack it once we're on the other side so only we can open it."
