*Nervously*
Uh... Yeah, I knew who you were too, Red. Heh. Heheh.
*Pulls at the collar of my shirt*
Reidd. Like raid. And I just heard you tell the girl your name.

<Snipped quote by Zeal>
I'm not that spontaneous. Sometimes.
<Snipped quote by Zeal>
Sorry, Blitz del Ritz. That was supposed to be for Techi.
<Snipped quote by Zeal>
No?
<Snipped quote by Zeal>
What happened?
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
Ok. Good luck with business.
<Snipped quote by Zeal>
I was talking to our friend Tech Deck.
<Snipped quote by Zeal>
Which is a reeeeaaaal shocker, huh?... Pun wasn't intended, but now it is.
<Snipped quote by Balance>
Wow? Why wow? Underground hideouts are a bit overdone, but they're still cool.
<Snipped quote by Zeal>
Yeah.
<Snipped quote by Multifarious>
At least I didn't break it.
<Snipped quote by Zeal>
Sorry or the long winded answer, I was being kinda defensive.
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>
Or they can just, you know, blow up the bulbs.
<Snipped quote by Zeal>
He probably won't find me.
<Snipped quote by Zeal>
That's pretty cool I guess.
<Snipped quote by Darlit Glitch>
No, I'm saying what if he does? Did he suddenly become a poor magician?
<Snipped quote by Zeal>
Since you can't always count on having a bunch of power to draw from, most magic uses precision to achieve it's results, instead of brute force.
Let's say he uses magic to turn off the lights, he can do it in a few ways.
*starts counting out on fingers.*
One. He can compress the air above or below the switch and release it in a focused burst to move it.
Two. Mess with the gravitational effects on the switch to make it move.
Three. Bend space to make it closer.
And so on.
But all of these require at lease a decent amount of power to achieve, and oftentimes magic users are targeted right after they're done with giant spells. So if he get's attacked after a huge experiment the next day, he's not likely to have much energy left, and the energy that he used to turn off that light could deflect a bullet or create a distraction, giving him time to live and recover.
It's the reason why most of the careless magic users are dead, because they aren't prepared for such situations, making them powerless and physically unable to protect themselves.
