Veronica Silverstone
Location: On the beach.
Interactiobs: @JazzyJuniper
Health: Head injury, concussion.

The woman, a pretty ginger girl, introduced herself as Sophia. A pretty name, Veronica thought. Pretty, like the beach. Her eyes briefly trailed off to the ocean, where she saw a copious amount litter. Now that was just despiciable. Who would litter on a beach like this? Either way, Sophia was having trouble walking, so Veronica was set on helping her.

"Hello, Sophia. That's a good name." Veronica helped the woman limp along, though she was probably drunk or something because she kept stumbling.

Veronica raised an eyebrow and looked over at Sophia in reponse to her question. "Am I okay?" She asked with a smile, incredulous. "That's sweet, but you're the one I should be worrying about, not me. I'm fine. We're almost there, there's probably someone whocanhlepl." Vernonica slurred her words towards the end of her sentence unknowingly, and briefly lost her footing. In her stunned state, Veronica was doing what she would probably be doing anyway, though she had no real idea of the situation she was in. Perhaps it was for the best? Panic would help no one. Still, Veronica thought in the back of her mind, there were probably better ways of not panicking than being semi-conscious. Those thoughts quickly subsided and were forgotten about in the haze of her mind, washed away by the ever-present hushing and crashing waves.

"Hello?" Veronica called out sweetly, almost sing song. "This one hurt herself, we could use some help." This was kind of exhausting, honestly. Veronica was happy to help, but dang, people are hard to help walk. She was so tired, she almost felt like she could faceplant in the sand and go to sleep right then and there. That sounded, really, really good, actually. Veronica blinked slowly.

Julia Donald

"Thanks, Aimee," Julia said, accepting her apology. Her brother didn't need to get mad at her, though. It's good to be honest, right?

Aimee seemed to have an okay idea for a new game. Maybe she was cut out to be a scout leader, or something like that. Every group of scouts needed a leader, right? Maybe they could take turns. Still, Julia hesitated. Couldn't they all just be adventurers or something?

Well, Aimee's patience grew thin, and the other two girls seemed okay with whatever Aimee wanted to do. At that point, Julia didn't really have a choice. Aimee even apologized for saying her game sucked. If Cindy and Courtney were following her, than she supposed she had to do as well. I'm just making a big fuss out of nothing, Julia thought to herself. It's rude to make a big fuss.

As Julia followed Aimee, she began to wonder what they were doing. Her mind immediately jumped to an ancient jungle, since that's what she associated with adventure; Like the Indiana Jones game she played with her dad. Still, she wasn't quite sure what they were doing yet. Finding a long lost temple? Looking for treasure? Fighting the Notzees?

"Where are we adventuring too, Aimee?" Julia asked politely, already pretending to cut through thick leaves with a machete.
The blonde put a hand on her chin after placing the communications device in her left ear, since that felt like the right thing to do. They were to be allies, yes? So far the robots hadn't sent any platoons of armed soldiers after them. Honestly, the only reason she was doing any of this was because of that gut reaction she had to the Varden. That was real, no matter what. That was a peak into her past, and she was going to trust it.

"Huh. Well that certainly complicates things." If every single person could potentially be a Varden, that raised some issues. Were they just supposed to go around down beating everyone up? That didn't sound or feel right. She guessed they would just have to see. The little guy didn't know what crashed through the dome, which most likely was their strange pods.

"That was us, by the way. The thing that broke through the glass. Uh, sorry about that." Her mind was racing with questions as she spoke, her eyes focusing on nothing in particular.

If every single person in the city was a Varden...what where they even doing here? They must only be here to save the robots. Evacuation seemed their best bet. The other solution was what- domination? Conquer the whole city? That didn't sound right. From what GF told them, conquering was what the Varden did. The Varden swept into an area and wiped out their enemies. Number One didn't want to be like them. There were too many unanswered questions to know. The unlucky trio had no idea of their past or purpose.

Number One looked over at Two as she removed her face mask. "Woah," she exclaimed in mock shock, "You have the bottom half of your face?" One smiled a toothy smile at her own tease.

The blonde backed off. The robot, now awake, was actually quite cute. It flailed around, shouting bravely at it's percieved attackers before crumpling into a heap.

"Hey, well geez, dude, don't give up so easily. You didn't even hit us." She laughed, kneeling down next to him.

"We're not Varden. We're here to help. That old guy, the old robot, leader of that group sent us. Uh, 'GF'. They're concerned about you, y'know?" She frowned, poking him in his metallic shoulder.

"You haven't been found out. Yeah, the glass is broken, but we can get you outta here, easy peasy. There's no one around." She paused. Concern for the little man has overriden her concern for the mission as of yet. Still, she idly commented on the strange cables and communication equipment, keeping her eyes on the little robot. She turned her head a little bit so they could more clearly hear her.

"Any a' you guys know what any of these gizmos are?" The blonde asked.

lauren watson

Lauren halted as Ryder asked his question and made clear his disapproval. He probably already knew the answer as to who's bright idea this was. Hopefully, he wouldn't get too mad at Lauren, and instead realized when you put a bleeding heart like Natalia in charge things like this are bound to happen. Lauren, on the other hand, was only following orders. Well, when people screwed up they always said that, but in her mind this was a win-win situation. She would prove her loyalty to orders she may not agree with, and Natalia was the one who fucked up. All's good, right? If she really wanted to screw Natalia, she might just say the woman was a nobody, and let her die. Natalia would have saved her anyway, even if she wasn't the Saint. Still...what if Natalia survived? Then Ryder would catch her for lying. Plus, on a moral sense, Lauren wouldn't want to lie to Ryder anyway. It would also be interesting to see what he would do with the information that at their mercy was the Saint.

"Sorry, boss," Lauren began with confidence. "Natalia's idea. I would have left her, but, y'know. Orders."

She hesitated for a moment, not terribly long, but there was a brief pause.

"Also, we think that woman right there is the Saint." She pointed at the pale, unconscious woman slung over Walter's shoulders. "That could be fun, if you were willing to try and keep her alive."

At this moment, Lauren did not envy Ryder. He had a lot of choices to make. Lauren probably would have already shot the saint, shot the horsewoman, and told everyone to go home. That might be what Ryder was going to say, but if he was a fan of anything, he was a fan of calculated risks and power moves. That woman outside claimed to be a doctor, after all. Either way, Lauren was ready to execute his orders.
