When I played HG/SS, I think I chose Cyndaquil. I had a really hard time choosing between Cyndaquil and Totodile, but I went with Cyndaquil in the end, mostly because I just really, really liked fire-types.
Now, though... I like electric types more :)
Cyndaquil all the way! That was the Pokemon I picked with Gold and I loved the little guy :3
