Aesthetical design, like drawings and 3d models. Mac is for the "artist" while PC is for the average joe. Linux is probably the best OS for programming as it has a very open OS. Mac on the otherhand is very closed and restricts the user too much for these kinds of things.

Nah, not alot. Although I personally dont like Apple as a company and alot of their products are overpriced imo.

That being said, Macs are the computer you need if you are designing anything. PCs are better for coding.

Good to hear you're all doing well.

@XxFellsingxX, good to hear you're starting with game design, I tried it one year but apparently I sucked at designing stuff and I hated coding so... that's a year I'll never get back :P

Anyway, if you are just starting then I would recommend using Gamemaker. It's the program we started eith and it's easy to get into. It has alot of tutorials online aswell so that helps too. :)
