Anastasia noticed Alexis' frown. Great, she was already making this awkward apparently. What was she even thinking, she had barely met this girl. Hell, she didnt even know her last name. And now she was already asking her where she was from. Eugh, Anastasia really didnt know how to start a conversation...
Alexis however did continue the conversation, much to Anastasia's suprise.
"Good 'ole New York city." she replied in a less then enthusiastic way. Well, if life gives you lemons you make lemonade. Anastasia was gonna take this chance to get a conversation going.
So Alexis was from New York? Well, that's awesome! She must have been living amoung others for a long time. Ooh how much Anastasia envied her. Ever since she knew of the existance of big cities Anastasia always wanted to visit them. She had so many questions she would want to ask about New York and the normal human world. But euhm, where to start? And come to think of it, Alexis probably wouldnt really like that considering how she looks kind of annoyed. Anastasia honestly didnt know how to get the conversation going again as Alexis wouldnt really elaborate about her past or anything.
"So...where you from, then?" Then she luckily asked a question and Anastasia would happily answer it.
"Ooh well, I'm not from an awesome big city like yourself. I would really love to visit New York once by the way." she answered quite excitingly.
"I'm actually from England, incase you didnt notice yet by my accent." She smiIed awkwardly at Alexis.
"As long as I remember I've been in my father's castle and surrounding lands, training to be able to best serve him. There was a small town nearby at which I sometimes had some assignments to complete." The thought about this part of her past made her grin and her pupils suddenly narrowed and formed narrow vertical slits... Quite some memory eh?
She quickly continued;
"I know it probably doesnt sound as cool as New York so I'll quit boring you about it." She stopped for a moment and took another bite from her, abysmal, food. Then after some thought she thought of something an immediately there after asked Alexis another question.
"So euhm, Alexis. I believe we havent properly introduced ourselves yet. It was 'Graham' I think who introduced us so what do you say about a proper introduction?" Anastasia stuck her hand out to Alexis, just in time realising that she had a grin on her face and, with some effort, turned it into a friendly smile. Her eyes on the otherhand... Well, not much she could do about them.
