@ScarlettWaters16Outside the window of the building shows that next door is in fact a casino. Sparkling lights and the muffled sound of intense lively jazz music molest the tranquility of the windows and the subtlety of the sound of rain. A perverse reminder of the industrialization of nature.
It becomes apparent the massive number of bee-boop sounds that fill the abandoned building and they're all coming from the hallway outside the apartment she's taken residence in. If she had stepped out into it, she would see it filled to the brim with active and mingling litter bugs--all of them behaving as they would if they were in a casino. At one end of the hallway there seemed to be a set up in which they mimicked a bar, one litter bug behind a cardboard box flicked pictures of different drinks on its monitor, and the litter bug it 'talked' to would flash on its monitor the beverage it wanted. The bartender litter bug inserted its claw-like hand into the box that served as a bar and pulled out an empty and discarded soda can, serving it to the litter bug that had ordered.
Some even pretended they were drunk by using @~@ faces on their monitors and pretending to fall over. Nearby to it three litter bugs stood in a row, playing as a band with the instruments that they were playing on their monitors. Of course it all just came out as beeps, sounding like a
retro game version of Frank Sinatra. Close to them, litter bugs 'danced' by cutely wobbling back and forth around each other.
At the far end of the hallway a gambling area had been set up. The two litter bugs that had raced passed her crossed a makeshift finish line made of twin and cans. Happy litter bugs that had obviously bet money on the winner jumped up and down with >w< on their monitors, while others threw things down, upset at their loss with TT^TT on their monitors.
These bots had literally learned to act this way from the casino they worked in next door.
@Fairess@DaxamBefore she could get a word out, the fucking bastard put a stupid fucking rubber band around her wings. While he did that she acted almost like a bird when it got its wings clipped. She cried out and thrashed, her brows furrowed in annoyance. Even biting him with her small mouth but, as a robot, she had no need for teeth. Dangit. What a load of crap this was! Not to mention he cut her antenna, Jacobi had worked so hard on installing that on her when her old one broke! And now how was she supposed to get home?! UGH! What a freaking day!
When the jerk was done manhandling her, she took a stance in his open hand and stomped her foot, scowling and puffing her feet out in frustration.
"No one sent me, I was looking for piece of tin foil in the dump for my owners collection when that MUTT wagged its tail in my face and I got caught!!!"
It was one of the excuses Jacobi programmed into her if she got caught while spying for him. She attempted to hop and fly around to show how annoyed she was, but instead she fell over in his hand, grossly outweighed by the heavy rubber band on her small, light body. She landed on her butt unceremoniously and pouted, her small green colored lips making it absolutely adorable. But she was far from feeling cute. Her A.I. felt pissy as hell. Her tiny arms folded and she sneered at the Cyborgel.
"Why are you with a stupid obsolete machine anyways?" Her nose wrinkled up and it became clear that the pixiebot had a defined discrimination against the larger machines. Was that a hint of jealousy they could detect? She was still recording, but there was no way to visibly tell.
@RukiMel then realized that this was a cyborgel... and he was.... omg he's so cute.
And in pain
and like... in the rain and stuff.
And cute....<3
Ugh! Okay, she totally had to get him out of here.
"T-Theres no dog here! Uh... Hold on... let me help you...!" She folded her totoro umbrella and quickly moved trash off of him, putting her bagel in her Vocaloid brand book bag. Hatsune Miku's chibi face looked shocked as ever but, ugh, whatever, totally not important right now. God I'm such Weeaboo trash, Mel thought to herself. She moved quickly to move all the things on top of the cute cyborgel off. However, she wasn't prepared to find him... naked.
Boxer shorts. Siiiick.
She took a photo on her phone and put it away.
Thinking fast, I mean, guys totally can't walk around naked, he had to have SOME clothing on right? Well, She wouldn't mind it if he stayed nekkid b-get it together you dunce. She shook her head, blushing a little and rifled through her back. After much wiggling, she managed to get some japanese samurai cosplay bottoms onto his limp legs. Good thing she'd just come from the cosplay cafe.
God it's really starting to dawn on her just how much of a problem she has.
She kneels down and puts his arm around her neck, pulling him up with much grunting. Mel opens up her umbrella. Now... she could get to her apartment through the back way and no one would ask questions, right...? Yeah sounds legit.
"Uh... hang in there buddy. I watched a youtube vid once on how to repair cyborgels. I'm sure its totes accurate you know?" She hoped so, anyways. She slowly began walking, leaning him heavilly against her.
@NuttsnBoltsThe young man with the headset scowled as he looked down at his clipboard.
"Aight baby you're the cute face of today's presentation. Now all ya gotta do is walk up to the stage and pull the curtain off the thingy when the signal is given. Just be sure to check in with ya' boss before we get started alright?" He looked up at her in expectancy of an answer, however a yell on the other side of the press conference set up drew more attention.
"What do you mean, breaking news?! THIS is the breaking news!!!" The female reporter seemed to shriek at her agents, furious to have her spotlight stolen.
"Sorry hun, but seriously this police chase is all over the place, ain't no way we can get a feed on the station as it is. We just gotta wait it out."
The reporter continued to let her frustration be known, but it was true. Up on the big screen of the square, a chase on a hoverbike was now drawing attention...
@pure493@PaulHaynek"KEEP GOING...!"
It was so weird... how these commands came out of her so easily. She briefly wondered why... but now it was just time to let that instinct take control. She held tight to Ethan, her one arm extended to keep the Russian flying behind them. She almost lost focus when the mechanic had hit something, but she regained herself.
Behind them sirens wailed, police hover cars sped after them. The red and blue lights flashed and the unmistakable sound of the siren blared. The rain had come to a drizzle at this point but it was still plenty to work on. However, the anomoly of how she held the Russian in the water is what drew the most attention.
Up above, already a helicopter from a news station was capturing this footage live, and it was being shown on all screens turned to the station. Lee looked up at it and, scowling, she stood up on the back of the bike, turning around to face the situation at hand. Her knees were buckled, and her eyes narrowed. Her hand was getting ready to do.... something. Her green short hair whipped around her face as she looked up at the helicopter. At the same time, with the fog and rain whipping her skin, and the wind ready to rip them off the bike at any moment, this was going to be risky.
