Lazarus

2 days had passed by, and they still hadn't been able to return home. His wounds had been properly dealt with, but thankfully hadn't gotten infected thanks to Sasha's freezing technique. He stood leaning against the main door frame of the edolas guild hall, watching Sasha. He wondered what she was like before her brother died back in earthland. He pondered. It was impossible to bring the dead back to life. However he had heard of heavenly magic which allow people to talk with projections of their lost loved ones. It'd be nothing more than talking to a memory, more like... A thought. He was unsure if that would upset Sasha or not. I he were to tell her about it, he decided it best to wait until they got back home.

Edo-Lazarus

He sat in the infirmary, everything being treated. His arrow wounds had now scarred, as penny had burned them closed. He opened his eyes to a pot of flowers on the guild infirmary table. He thought for a minute, before speaking to the only other person in the room. "It is fair to give your life for somebody else more deserving. You are a good person, better than me. I have no family. No parents, siblings.... Wife..." He sighed. "You have a little brother no?" He paused. "It would've been worth giving up my remaining miserable years so that you could have a lot more, happy ones..." He smiled. "...Sasha."

Edolas
Mayt
Mayt would've gone back to the Edolas Phoenix Wing a tad reluctantly, but would've eventually. During the two days downtime he would've practiced his magic more than talking, spending hours trying to master them, and showing that his magic would be extremely dangerous in the wrong hands. When not practicing/training, he would spend a dis ordinate amount of time trying to convince others to help him stop the Golem those from Edolas meant to go to Earthland with. Mayat herself would show no indication of wishing to join him, and headed out on a job after the first day so she wouldn't have to listen to him. Though, she did make it clear she did not intend on going to Earthland.

On the day the Golem was supposed to go to Earthland, Mayt would seem tense, for obvious reasons. Eventually he would see Sasha sitting alone after Ben left, and would head out and go sit next to her, looking at the book from besides her. "Don't worry, this won't be another tirade about the plan that man suggested back at the capital." He'd say after hardly a moment, looking over the old book. "I just wanted to tell you to tell you something for when we got back to Earthland." He shifted, looking up at the sky now.

"I assume Master Jamie will want to know about this, so here it goes. My magic is familial, as far as I know I am the only person alive capable of using it, much less learning it. So it's kind of a... Lost magic, created ages ago and passed down using mostly Archive magic. Since it's lost magic, as with many of them that I now can remember, it can have serious consequences for its misuse. To stop beating around the bush, if I were to completely run out of magic power, I will probably die. Just a small heads up, not to mention some of my spells can have pretty drastic complications due to simply what they are. So I, just wanted someone to know this before we go back to Earthland, since the magic blocking my memory of everything will probably be reactivated." Mayt sighed softly, before looking over at Sasha to see her reaction. His explanation had been pretty basic, but he had hoped he had gotten the point across.

Earthland
Mithera
Mithera would've gladly helped Karn out with his little hole in the woods as much she could, disappearing for a couple hours some time to change into a large white feline form, roughly the size of a horse and with teeth and claws meant to rend flesh or metal. The significantly smaller size of this form would make it much easier for Mithera to help Karn out, but she still would have to refuse any food offered to her. Once Karn was done with his little hole, she'd probably head back and sleep behind the guild hall, still too large to fit, and would remain moderately unfriendly.

The day after that, Mithera would change into her large Panther form, sleek black (Breaking her white motif), and roughly three and a half feet at the shoulder. This particular form, despite being sleek and graceful, seems much more feral than her other, larger forms. As if it was more for being an intermediary stage that still could protect itself. Its fur would be moderately coarse, though it could still move and strike like the animal it resembled, but nothing special. At this point, Melina would serve as Mithera's mouth, speaking for her when necessary, but otherwise sticking around the guild for no obvious reason.

Joshua and Amelia

Joshua was outside the Edolas Pheonix Wing's guild hall, sitting under a tree, his eyes closed and his breathing slowing down as time went by. He was getting really bored of Edolas, but he knew getting aggravated about it would get him no where. Getting aggravated when they had first arrived had proved that. He needed to calm himself and keep his anger and desire to fight in check. The less he time he spent around the guild hall the better at this point, since the activity in there could rile him up. So, best to stay outside and away from all of that. As long as it stayed in there.

Amelia spent most of her time in Edolas near Jarvis, helping him do whatever he set out to do. She felt the most comfortable around him and seemed to be the most relaxed around him. To help pass the time, she often stayed up in his Edolas counterpart's room and drew on a sketch pad she had gotten, since it was it's most peaceful in there. She never let anyone see her drawings, not even Jarvis.

At the moment she was in the room, simply to enjoy a cup of hot tea without being disturbed by too many people.

Maddox

The past two days had been relatively uneventful for Maddox. While he got to know the newest members of Phoenix Wing better, his mind was still clouded. The red-haired mage was bothered by his performance at Kabo. It was clear that he had grown weaker since joining Phoenix Wing two years ago, but he was torn on what he should do about it. On one hand he didn't need to be strong or stand out, but on the other it could cost lives in the future if he isn't in top condition.

Presently he was at his apartment, sitting on the couch. Maddox still hadn't found a replacement for his destroyed jacket and was presently shirtless. As he leaned forward to rest his elbows on his knees, several large scars were visible across his back. Maddox was presently deep in thought, reflecting on recent events again. His eyes suddenly took a resolve and he stood up from his seat. After walking over to his closet and putting on a black shirt with a single white stripe, he looked towards the corkboard on his wall.

I've made up my mind, he thought to himself, now turning his gaze to the window to look out across Magnolia. I won't allow myself to grow weaker any longer. I won't have any shortcomings, I won't be responsible for any failures. Maddox narrowed his eyes as he looked at the guild hall across the city. I'll begin training again.

Gentsai and Edo Sayrui

Location: Outside and Inside Edolas Capitol City

Present

Sayuri sighs as she walks through the castle towards the training area. Most soldiers saluted her as she passed. She could feel them watching her unsure if they could trust her. Though Liana had graciously allowed her to keep her position she knew it could be lost at any time. The two guards at the entrance saluted. Nodding to them she walks into the training yard. As she does her mind drifts back to the aftermath of the battle.

Two days ago

Hearing Gentsai's voice calling people to the plaza she runs off leaving Mina and her Earthland counterpart behind. Arriving in the Plaza she looks up to see her mentor. She listen to she speech intently. As she did so she her mind reeled in shock, Is he... Saying what I think... But all my work... No... nonononononono... NO! the realization hit her like a charging legion, he'd used her to get what he wanted. Five years of trust destroyed by one speech. As Gentsai flew off she whistled calling Tsuki down. She leapt on her back and shot after him, "GENTSAI!!"

As Gentsai flew away from the Capitol he could hear Sayrui calling his name. Seeing as he was already outside of the city, he turned around to see what Sayrui wanted. Already knowing what she might say or do, Gentsai commanded his legion to slowly descend to the ground and waited for Sayuri to arrive. Waiting to see what she wanted.

Drawing her swords she followed Gentsai down to the ground feeling a rage she couldn't put into words. She stands on Tsuki and looks up at her mentor, "What is this Gentsai? What about all the talk of how magic couldn't be trusted in Edolas? How The people couldn't be trusted with it, your words by the way. Was it all simple to get me to help?"

He could easily see Sayrui's rage before she spoke. Unsure about what in particular, he waited for her to finish before explaining it to her. "Sayrui, this is the next step for people who want to move on from this place. Although Edolas is still here, it lost too much already to be the same as before. That is why I'm giving the people the opportunity to start fresh in a world where our lives can be better. It is true that magic can't be trusted, but only in Edolas, Earth Land still has it and we could learn from what they know." He walked closer toward her in hopes that she would sheath her swords. "I can understand that you might be upset for what I've done, but I'm doing it for our people. To many people have taken that throne, only to eventually fall victim to its curse. But we make a different by starting somewhere new, where magic exist and expand our own opportunities."

Gentsai eventually walked close enough to where Sayrui could slice him, but that depended on her. "I can see your rage and feel it, I faced much worst. If you truly want to end this movement, then you can strike me down right now. Doing it now, could end this or do you not want to end? Decide now, Sayrui."

Sayuri listened to Gentsai's argument holding in her anger giving him a chance to explain his actions. They do hold a certain truth to them. She couldn't deny that. Her mind runs through what he said for several minutes before responding, "My issue is not with what you are doing Gentsai. It may be the opposite of what I want but everyone is free to make their own choices. No my problem is that you took my desire to remove all magic from Edolas and used that to further your own plans. You took my trust crushed it. Five years of loyalty rewarded with a lie," looking at him she sheaths her swords, "I won't strike you down here. It's not my place to decide your fate. I may hate you with everything I have as Sayuri, but as the Commander of the First Division I must put that aside. Liana is the one who will decide your fate. Just know that whatever she chooses I will follow and the next time I stand before you it will be as the 1st Division Commander."

"Then it would appear that I taught you well." folding his arms in front as he was also pleased that Sayrui sheathed her sword and sighed. "True, I wasn't entirely truthful to you, but we wouldn't be able to create our anima if it wasn't for you. Your desire of not having magic in Edolas was what made me decide to choose you to help carry out that plan. For that I must thank you. Naturally, I would like to welcome you to Earth Land, but you'll probably reject my invitation. I know that from what you said, our relationship before won't be the same from now on."

"Before I leave on my I suppose I should reward in for your help." Gentsai backed away as he unfolded his arms. "I'm sure that you heard that the King and I were best friends before. But it was this same argument that led to our eventual divide. It was when my wife, Jane, was diagnosed with this strange disease that made her body reject any kinds of food. With the lack of nourishment, she was expected to die within the few weeks. That was when I found someone that should me that we could go beyond what we thought about magic. That idea was what this individual called the Meta, someone who could advance and transcended the usual understandings of the physical and magic world. For example." Gentsai raised hand as showed his hand as his flesh changed into that of the earth beneath him and a flower sprouting out of it. "It is this same power that would of saved Jane, but she... didn't make it long enough for the treatment to completely work on her. The idea was to this power would replace her need to eat like any average person. Instead, with plant lacrima that was surgically infused in her, it would of allowed her to survive with just sunlight."

As he rose both arms into the air, the ground rose a bit and trees instantly grew around the two. "With this, I could provide enough for us when we arrive to our new world and aid in any medically necessities. Our health would prosper and allow me to help others like Jane. But with the way things are right now Edolas, it's too late to fix things here. That is why we must go to Earth Land." He gazed off into the distant and pointed to the titan that was approaching the capitol. "Earlier when I said that vessel was an extension of me, I meant it literally. It wasn't easy, but as I created it, I put bits of myself in it, that is why I trust it to carry us to a New Edolas. So it doesn't matter how many people decided to join me on this movement. There will always be enough room for those who come because I also see them as part of my life. That is why, even if you were to strike me down now, it wouldn't stop what I already put in motion." The old mentor slowly walked away and back to his legion."There might be more that you want to know, but time is short and I have to spread the news to everybody else in Edolas. Farewell Sayrui." Gentsai turned around as he jumped onto his legion and prepped it for flying.

Sayuri watched as her mentor displayed his power and listened to the talk about Meta. She nodded greatfully at the information. As her mentor flew off she saw him turn back. Feeling like it was her last chance she called after him, "Despite all this I am still grateful for you rescuing me five years ago. It gave me a place to belong!" she sat back down on Tsuki and had her fly back to the capitol.

Present

She looked around the courtyard at the soldiers training and noticed that her Earthland counterpart was there training as well. She yelled corrections to the trainees that were learning to fight all the while feeling eyes boring into her back.

Master Jamie

Master jamie had seem many odd things. So it didn't surprise him when Karn can in dressed in a dress, with a cake. He merely wondered what the boy had gotten himself into, and was sure that it was a thrilling tale. And then Candy came barreling in for the cake, and Jamie couldn't stop the sugar obsessed boy.

As it was, Jamie was well aware that he would have to speak with Candy. The boy needed to become responsible with his abilities, to stop incidents like with the jaw breakers. Jamie feared it could only lead to a serious accident for Candy Loving boy.

She would also have to talk with Melina, as despite everything, Jamie couldn't figure out what Melina's end game was. What would the blood mage do, if Mithera chose to stay with Zero, should he join the guild?

So much to do.

The easiest one first then, Jamie approached Melina and Mithera. He didn't say anything about the sudden change to a black coloured creature for Mithera, but instead spoke "you said you wanted information on your abilties, Melina. I can give you that. But I'm curious, what will you do if Mithera chooses to stay with zero?"

Sasha

Sasha looked over as Mayt joined her and began to speak about his magic. Lost magic? That was interesting, from what she knew about it and it wasn't much, it was different from normal Magic. She was sure she had seen something about having to give something each time to use it. Maybe.

Mayt was clearly expecting some sort of reaction. She nodded "alright. I'll remember that, although I don't fully understand it. Lost magic, huh? Sounds...interesting. I'll be sure to tell Master Jamie for you, and to remind you, If you want. I think you should talk to your mother about it too. When we get back"

She didn't know what else to say. She put the book back in her satchel, wondering about it all. Despite all they knew about magic, there was magnitudes of knowledge about magic that they didn't know. 100 years without magic, and even before then, so much magic was lost.

"what do you mean by familial? I know it means family, but how can magic be...just in one line?" perhaps Mayts answer to that question might just answer a few of her own, inner questions.

Edo-Sasha

Edo-Sasha was angered by Edo-Lazarus's words. She hadn't meant to be caught coming in the room, but she had, and now it was too late to back out. As Edo-Lazarus spoke, her hands clenched into fists, and her expression went blank. "you stupid, idiotic, bastard. No one life is worth more then another. You act like you this was all imposed on you. You could have done something about it all. You could have left the false kings service, could have found a family here, but you didn't. I don't give a damn what you think. If you had died, that would have meant that I had your blood on my hands. And i disn't want that."

She shook her head, but her fury was gone. She sighed heavily. "beyond all that, I could have bloody protected myself. I was going to protect myself."

Jarvis

Jarvis took the time to replenish his stock of Lacrima. He had several unconditioned Lacrima in his storage area, much like an equip mages space, and he replenished both his transportation, and communication Lacrima, as well as some more offensive attack lacrima.

Beyond that, he didn't really have much to do, and that was oddly unsettling. Most of his time he couldn't help but think on how they were going to get back. They could use th anima, but that would require alliwin edolasans to be transported to Earthland.

Which might just lead to war, he thought suddenly. In Earthland. Against people who coverted their magic. It couldn't end well.

Eventually, to keep his mind busy, he prepared some food, letting himself enjoy the familiar task.

Felix Lancaster

The Magnet Mage

Felix had spent the two days mostly training and decorating his room. He hadn’t had much as far as things when he had arrived, but the rest had been at a camp site not too far away. He had a bit of clothing but many books on magical theory. If any of his father had rubbed off on him, it was the love of researching what magic could do.

All of that knowledge didn’t help him much when it came to sparring with Damian. Without using his magic, the fight was heavily one-sided. Felix couldn’t create constructs on the fly to protect himself. Felix was a bit of a mid-range fighter and so being pulled up close and personal without his ability-enhancing magic was his worst nightmare. However, he did feel like he learned a bit in the match. Of course he didn’t get a scratch on Damian, but he thought he had figured out how.

Felix had spent some time getting to know the other members, even finding time to hold Karn down for a conversation that involved more than just a vigorous handshake and a new nickname, but he still felt a little like a child in comparison to most of the other people there. Felix was young, sure, but he was on par with many of the wizards there. But of course no one really saw that because no one had seen him in a real fight, aside from the first one when he arrived. Even then, fighting a fire mage with magnet magic was not exactly a good thing. Felix didn’t like to broadcast the knowledge that extreme heat could basically nullify his magic, and not getting close helped in that regard.

He, still, enjoyed his time with Fleo. He’d been able to show her his magic and found that their way of constructing objects and their general fighting capabilities were really similar. Felix theorized that their magic would work well in tandem, but without any jobs to do, he didn’t want to suggest forming a team. Maybe later, when there were missions to go on.

Felix walked into the guild hall at the beginning of his third full day as a Phoenix Wing guild member and sighed as Candy assaulted a perfectly good cake. He thought about restraining the running madman, but decided that, unless asked, he probably should stay out of it. He glanced around but saw most everyone was busy. He sat at a table and his stomach growled. He had mostly gone out for food in town, he actually wasn’t completely sure the food situation in the guild hall itself. And he didn’t feel like going out for food alone.

Edolas
Mayt
Mayt nodded, glad Sasha was going to remember, and when she asked about what he meant by familial, he let out an internal sigh. "As far as I know, only people of my mother's bloodline even have a chance of being capable of using my magic. The memories don't go back that far, but it has to do with the man who found it or created it or however that works. I'm his direct descendant, obviously, and since I'm the first born of my parents, and alive, I was given the knowledge of almost everything ever learned about my magic, including the Taboos and their consequences. But, I don't know why only my family is capable, but no one has found someone out of our family who's capable. So... Yeah. There's that story." He gave a little half-hearted smile, and leaned back a little, biting his lip. "Right now though, I know everything my mother knows about my magic, so talking to her would only be useful as warnings and things to look out for."

Earthland
Melina and Mithera
Melina looked up from brushing Mithera's fur out when Jamie came over, and smiled a bit. As Jamie asked his question, Mithera did a small eye-roll before training her looks back at the Guild, and Melina answered after a moment. "She already plans on stickin' with them. I'm only still here because no ones looked for that book and I need to tell you where she wants her Mark when Zero and Zenoram join. After that, I'm going to head back to doing what I did while Mithera was sticking with you for the past three months." She gave him a little smile, and turned back to Mithera. "She wants it on her stomach by the way, black, and she wants to get it when she's in her cute little drakin form." Mithera looked over at her groom for a moment, before over at Jamie.

Magnolia

Trinity spent her time endearing herself to the locals through music and story. While she looked for a place to stay, she decided she might try staying at the guild. It would do for the time being, at least. She had also been purchasing textiles and spent the evenings in her room.

This morning, she woke rather suddenly to a loud screaming from the hallway. "The hell...?" The young bard pushed herself from bed and stretched her body before dressing and stepping out. She was coming downstairs when Candy blew past her. She steps aside, out of his way before approaching Karn. "Hey, Karn. Aah..." She looks him over once before chuckling softly. "Don't make a mess of your nice outfit, Karn." She nabs herself a slice of his cake and rubs the top of his head (like she might a cat) as she looks around. "Where have you been staying, anyway?"

Beneath the promising morning sun, on an unnamed Magnolia sidewalk, with spirits momentarily subdued only in anticipation, the dust woman, a cripple craving to experience all life had to offer, fixed to run. Not until she had witnessed every tiny miracle and memorable detail in this city would Fleo cease her daily tours. After making sure her bandages and headrag were tight enough to discourage the wind from snatching them, Fleo bunched up and took off. Unlike most city-runners, whose utmost aim was to conserve energy during their job, Fleo never ran at anything less than full tilt. Naturally, this frenetic pace posed some hazard to pedestrians, but on the third day of the sorceress's stay in Magnolia the everyday commuters were already learning to work around her. In a city that played host to the grandest guild in Fiore, the townsfolk had adapted to the everyday strangeness that ran amok through their streets everyday, and many felt pride for the eccentricity that only their city could feature.

Nevertheless, Fleo felt anxious to leave the cobblestone, marble, and clay behind her. However controlled her sprint and however adaptive the civilians, she yet preferred the solitude and freedom of mobility offered by the shingled sea of roofs. On the first day, ascending to this less-traveled level proved tricky, but only two days turned out to be sufficient for Fleo to get a feel of how to move in the town. Today, she rounded a corner, barreled beneath an arch, and dashed headlong into a dead-end alleyway, startling a gray-muzzled mutt dozing in the shade. “Funjin Bakuhatsu!” she shouted at the bricks, echoing off them and persuading the dog to leave. A ball of condensed dust materialized in Fleo's palm, which was lobbed and subsequently stuck to the wall. The dusty woman pushed off her legs, loosening their composition ever-so-slightly to achieve some extra spring, and soared up to where the bomb adhered. Her feet made contact on either side of it, and she pushed off it. What came next, the daredevil knew, expected to be quite a risk, and it thrilled her. “Haha ha!” Fleo snapped her fingers and the dust orb burst with concussive force, sending her flying in an arc out of the alleyway and across the street, whooping all the while. To her astonishment as much as that of any onlookers, Fleo landed upright on the roof of a furniture store, and after a moment spent appreciating her own daring stunt, she took off again, feet pounding across building after building until the roof she stood on was her home.

Any other day would have seen her drop lackadaisically from the roof to the ground, casually letting her dust legs absorb an impact that would crush the bones of normal humans, but today marked a new routine. Construction had begun on the guild's third floor, so it was the easiest thing in the world to literally drop in on the second floor. The particular room into which Fleo descended, she was proud to know, was her own. When Master Jamie had offered a temporary room until the new apartments were completed, Fleo had jumped at the chance. Already she had become quite attached to her cozy little niche, filling it with her belongings at random. Nothing screamed home more than a mess. With the thin layer of dust coating most of her possessions, the room seemed as if it had been lived in for months. Pausing only to grab her coat, Fleo left her room and headed to the guild's first floor, curious as to what the day might bring. Hopefully she wouldn't be sparring with Damian again; without magic (that is, without any more magic than her arms and legs, which she had successfully disguised by feigning appropriate pain when hit) there could be no hope for her. With Damian so demoralizingly good at it, she quickly lost the will to continue. There would never be a time that Fleo would fight without magic, that much she knew for certain. Plus, she had spotted Damian running around Magnolia at the same time as she, which somewhat detracted from her own individual experience. The obvious fact that he ran as part as a routine, and not a free-run like Fleo, succeeded in consoling her.

When she reached the ground floor, she waved cheerily at James, mimed punching a fire wizard named Raghu in the face, and performed a double take. The sight of Karn in a dress, Candy stealing a hunk of his cake, and Trinity petting his head like she would a pet, nearly overloaded Fleo's brain. Wide eyed, she walked stiffly and swiftly to join one person whose sanity she was fairly certain of. Her overly-dramatic shocked expression remained as she seated herself beside Felix. A couple of seconds passed before she found her voice. “Sometimes it can be hard to tell if this place is a wizard guild or a looney bin. Next thing you know people will start saying that there's such a thing as magic!” She screwed her eyebrows up in a mock expression of horror, then flashed a toothy, silly smile. It then vanished, replaced by her usual, easygoing brightness. “Hey, wanna grab breakfast someplace? I saw this sweet pancake shop on the way here. Well, actually, I didn't see it—just smelled it as I ran across the roof. I'll bet it's hella good though.”

Amelia finished her tea around the same time she finished her latest drawing. Sighing, she got up and headed to the guild's kitchen to get another cup to help her pass the time. When she arrived, she was surprised to see Jarvis in there, cooking something. She moved quietly, until she was almost at his side.
"What're you making?" She asked, looking up at him. She had her wings hidden, like always when she was out of the room. She looked up at the older man before standing on tip-toe to see what he was making.

Angelo sighed as he woke up that day, still two days stuck in edolas and Angelo was missing mark more and more each day, Angelo believes that the second he will get back he will feed mark whatever he wants after Angelo hugs him. Right now Angelo was stuck in edolas, a place with no natural recurring magic and as a result Angelo needed to have the berries on him at all times in case someone tried to attack him or his friends. Right now despite how Angelo tried to help take down the cannon Angelo was feeling more and more like he wasn't a big help to the guild members, of course he will never say that but still that's how he felt. Angelo was glad that the phoenix wing in edolas wasn't much different then the one they have in earth land because Angelo slept on the high beams near the roof like he did back in earth land. Angelo wasn't sure what he would do today all he wanted was to go back home and talk to his mom and get mark back who was probably worrying about him....

Karn
Fiore || Magnolia || Phoenix Wing Guild
Interacting: Candy, Trinity

Karn was happily taking bites from a slice of cake, though his emerald eyes blinked as Candy suddenly bolted over. The sweet smelling boy probably attracted to the sugary treat. It was then the green haired boy abruptly wiped off all the cake frosting only to shove it into his mouth. Grinning as he bolted off. The feminine boy simply blinked a couple of times before laughing a little.

"You sure like sweets Candycane!" Karn laughed after the suger induced boy, obviously not bothered at having his cake utterly mutilated and only continued eating. Good thing about cake was that it was still delicious even without frosting.

As Karn watched others pass by like Jamie, he happily waved to them as he ate before looking to Trinity as she came over. Making a loud purring sound as she patted his head, the feline ears twitching and the tail flicking from side to side. Happily accepting the gesture. After swallowing a bite, the blonde smiled brightly to the minstrel.

"No worries I'll be careful." he chirped before chuckling a little. "Oh I've been living in the forest. Mythy helped me make a underground home. I didn't really have any money and Master Rian always told me that.." he started before sitting up straight with a semi serious serious face as his cheeks puffed out a little.

"Karn, if your a real man then get off your ass and act like one. Either earn your keep to live in your own home or make one for yourself. Don't mooch off others otherwise it will eventually bite you in the ass." He said before chuckling a little.

"So I kind of just made my own homes when traveling. It's comfortable. I even made a house once, and a treehouse. But being underground in a forest like that is safer from predators. At least that's what Ru said for someone like me. As long as I hid the entrance and be careful of rainstorms and earthquakes." he explained.

Sasha

Sasha frowned as Mayt talked. She leaned back as he spoke, contemplating what he was saying as well as the implications of that. "but you told me that when we return, you won't be able to remember these things about your magic. So I think you will need to speak to your mother about it, when we return" She said, looking to Mayt. Had it really only been four months since she had met him? It seemed impossible that it had only been that short a time, with all that had happened.

They'd worked together, in the search for a cure job. And run into a dark guild while searching for the herb. How strange, to remember that. She smiled slightly, "When I first met you, you seemed like such a...closed off person. You're not anymore, not really. Maybe it's just that I'm use to your quirks or whatever. But ts been such a intesne few months, hasn't it? I don't think any of us are the same people we were even three months ago. How could we be, after everything we have seen, and done?"

She looked up, at the sky. And relaxed. She smiled, an easy smile. "I hated being here. Hated seeing what my life could have been, without magic. I know I will be sad to leave here, sad to leave the fact that I could spend time with my little brother, and its going to be a sadness that stays with me the rest of my life. But its easier, when I think about returning home. Back to the guild. Being with everyone again. And I'm happy. That's what I've learned here."

As if realising she had gone of the track of the conversation, she laughed softly, brushing back her hair. She was wearing her normal clothes, but the tip of the guild mark on her chest could just be seen poking out from her jacket. She hadn't removed it yet. And was seriously contemplating keeping it. A little reminder, of this world.

"oh. I've been meaning to ask you. Your sword. It's different here. No mark" (Hope I remembered that right)

Jarvis

Jarvs lost himself in the familiar task of cooking. Jarvis had never trained to be a cook, but rather, he just knew what to do, like with so much else that he did. Practice made perfect, and over the years, Jarvis had become an exceptional cook. Better, he thought, then Jamie at least.

At the patter of feet, and then Amelia's question, Jarvis looked over at her, and smiled indulgently at the young girl. "Careful, its hot. I'm making a stew. Simple, but if you do it right, its very tasty. And there might just be something extra, for later" he said, flour had gotten on his face, smudging his nose and cheek, but he didn't seem to have noticed it.

He knew that his edolas counterpart, and Edolas Master Jamie were out, most likely dealing with the anima as well as any lingering threats to Liana. The fact that they were all so accepted here made being here easier, but Jarvis feared for Earthland, and their guild. "I hope we will be home soon, but I feel...odd just sitting around and doing nothing. I'm use to doing this sort of thing, and enjoy doing it. I hope that you are okay, little one"

Master Jamie

Master Jamie sighed softly. It had been what he expected, and yet, it still made her...sad. She didn't trust Melina, at least not as long as he valued his life, but the thought of Melina out there alone now, in a world that was going to become dangerous, if it wasn't already wass sad. "you are always welcome to stay here, Melina. Food, jobs and coin to earn, and access to the materials you need-the book itself as well as any other information. In this world, what is going to happen, you'll need allies. Just know that the offer stands" She looked to Mithera, and nodded.

"Very well. I know that when you are in your dragon form Mithera, that you are too big for the guild as well as some of your other forms. I'm going to be expanding the guild, creaating more living spaces as well as virtually giving the guild a fresh look. I can, easily, include shelter for when you are in those forms, if you would like"

Edolas
Mayt -- Edolas Phoenix Wing
Mayt shrugged when Sasha mentioned he'd need to talk with his mother anyway, choosing not to entertain that rout of conversation, but spoke up when she mentioned how long they'd known each other and how different and weird it was here. "It has been a long four months hasn't it? But I still don't share as much about my past and my personal life as everyone else feels necessary for them. There's a couple other members at the guild not inclined to share their past, but they seems to be much more, hmm. Into the guild, I guess you could say. And as far as Edolas is concerned I find I'm able to just... Disassociate myself. It's weird, but Edolas still just seems sort of surreal to me. I dunno... maybe I just can't make myself focus on the people here and how uncanny their similarities to us are." He stared offed into space for a moment before sighing and lying back. "As for my sword, the black smudge was a result of my Shape Magic ability. Basically, part of my internal storage was extended into the blade of the sword, which is why it turns black. It didn't make the whole thing back because I hadn't meant to do it, and didn't disappear because it doesn't require energy to maintain. That's also why it miraculously has never broken." He debated demonstrating, but decided it was unneeded, just lying there.

Earthland
Melina and Mithera -- Earthland Phoenix Wing
Melina shrugged, and continued grooming Mithera. "I wish you and almost everyone would stop trying to recruit me. I don't like people paying for damagas I cause, I'd feel obligated to represent the guild even when out on my personal errands, and that's not to mention the resentment I'd probably cause towards me. It's a burden that's unnecessary for both parties and doesn't create a positive relationship besides the fact it keeps me from finding my face and a reward on a job board somewhere, which I do well enough for myself." She paused for a moment, before moving on. "And don't worry about Mithera, she's made an odd little agreement with Karn, so her smaller forms have a little hidey hole to stay. As for her larger ones, well, she did live alone for longer than I've been alive, I figure sleeping outside won't kill her."

Sayuri

Sayuri nods at her Edolas counterpart as she walks into the courtyard where she was sparring some of the new recruits to help train them. She'd spent a decent amount of time at the castle rather than at the Edolas Phoenix Wing guildhall over the past 2 days. While she had somewhat gotten to know the guild members she still felt a little weird around them. She wanted to get to know people so she'd dragged Penny along with her today. Sheathing her sword she sighs, "I'd better go find her don't want her thinking I dragged her here for no reason," she hurries off to go find her. Finding her she walks up and smiles, "Hey, sorry about dragging you out here. I wanted to try and get to know you guys better one on one."

Felix Lancaster

The Magnet Mage

Felix smiled as Fleo approached. "Blasphemy! We must burn the heretic!" He made a show of holding an invisible torch and pitchfork. "Magic cannot be tolerated in this land!" He made an angry face, then burst into a laugh when he couldn't hold it.

When asked about breakfast, his stomach answered for him, growling loudly. "I had just been thinking about heading out and getting something. Pancakes sound aweome." He grinned broadly and stood. "Race you there?" And, with that, he blurred right out the front door.

Of course, the flaw was he wasn't exactly sure where he was going, but he was sure he'd see Fleo in a moment or two and she'd show him where to go.

Felix loved how he had learned how to move at ridiculous speed with his magnet magic. He didn't even have to physically wear himself down. He simply levitated himself from the ground with magnetim and then used the same force to propell him forward. It was near frictionless, and if he put a lot of energy to it, he could move faster than a lot of people could react. Of course this was only his movement across the ground that was sped up this way, but it still makes for an interesting trick to pull in a fight. He wasn't hiding it, but no one had really seen him do it all that much. It was sure to be a urprise to Fleo.

The mention of a race stoked Fleo's fires once more. Before she could accept, however, Felix was already out the door. She blinked a couple of times, trying to piece it together. Her earlier talks with the young boy made it clear that he was a magnetism wizard, but how did that translate into such speed? She could only imagine that it meant he wore some sort of metal. Still, she couldn't let an unfair combination of A-rank Magnet magic and cheeky head start rob her of victory. Fleo pushed herself up from the table, dodged around Trinity and Karn, and darted out the from door. “Sirocco,” she declared, the prospect of competition causing her face to become serious. Dust swirled around her feet, buoying her a feet centimeters off the ground. From there, she needed only lean forward to shoot off, scooting stiff-legged across Magnolia at high speed.

She didn't realize how much she had been concentrating until Felix was a dozen meters ahead of her, at which point she relaxed. “Just give up now!” She called, though it was a gamble if her fellow guildmember heard anything through the wind blowing past his ears. Fleo could scarcely hear herself. It made little difference, likely; they were already halfway to the pancake place. On impulse, the dusty woman felt her pocket, suddenly afraid that she had left her wallet behind. Fortunately, she discovered, she had not, and the thought of warm, syrupy pancakes galvanized her into an extra push that brought her closer to Felix. Dust billowed behind her, quite literally, but she was having trouble catching him up. His magnetism simply out-sped her, and she could bet that he wasn't focuses as acutely as she was. As trivial as this race might be, Fleo was determined to be better at something than someone else after two days of unremarkable mediocrity. What was the use of her gifts if she couldn't beat anybody? She ground her teeth together, her face locked in uncharacteristic determination, and inched closer.

Amelia

"Stew sounds really nice." Amelia said before laughing at the sight of Jarvis' flour covered face. It was rare to hear her actually laugh."You should wash your face off. You have flour all over it. Someone might mistake you for a ghost."

When Jarvis brought up getting back home again, Amelia's expression fell again.
"It must be good... having a home to go forward to. I know you'll say Phoenix Wing is my home but it's not the same. I want some place different... something like what I had when I lived with Mama." She said"I just want some place I can really call my own."

"And if you keep lying to yourself, you'll never find what you're really looking for Dear." A voice said from nearby. A young woman appeared from a magic circle to next to Amelia and Jarvis. Smiling down at Amelia, she ruffled the young girl's hair affectionately"You still lie to yourself all the time. When will you learn to be honest?"

"Mama." Amelia said, looking at the ground as her face turned red.

Giggling, the woman stood up and held her hand out to Jarvis.
"Nice to meet you. I am Ellis Averyonna. I became Amelia's mother after she was rescued." She said."I meant to do so earlier but I want to thank you for watching after her so far."
