UNIVERSAL was meant to take it's inspiration from larger blockbuster superhero movies and storylines such as Injustice, Civil War, and Batman V Superman. With the recent roster shake-ups I'm currently developing STRIKE [our version of SHIELD] and introducing a character who will basically be our universe's Injustice Superman: Liberty Son aka Darkstar as a big bad. What we could use right now are some more superheroes AND villains. STRIKE is also currently in the process of putting a team together to take down the fallen hero.
A lot of our characters for the game early on were street level types. Now we're down to a group of about 6 or 7 still pushing forward. Specific archetypes are listed for the types of characters we're looking for, with the current cast and available spots looking like this:
Any inactive players have been removed and more archetypes are available in green for any interested RP'ers! Examples of each archetype mostly from the Marvel Universe of characters are also listed for reference!
GM - The Kid Lantern Size Manipulator ACCEPTED - Gigas [my NEW guy] Co-GM - @AroArcher/Sharpshooter ACCEPTED - Reaper

America, Capt. Marvel, Capt. Atom] Wildcard 2 Plant Person [Black Tom, Groot] Alien 2 [I'm willing to accept a couple more original alien races to make it a true universal theme] Big Man Villain [Red Hulk, Juggernaut, Abomination]
I'm going to be one of those people who insists this is a High Casual RP. I'm not exactly looking for Advanced level length posts, I just don't want to have to assist everyone with their own individual stories because that isn't what this game is about. Two or three players could be working on their own thing in the game while I'm mimicking a battle like Hulk vs Thing or Superman vs Batman with another player in the background. If we lack a Superman or Capt. America type character, then the group can have dibs on collectively making them.
Here's the CS template. Throughout the game we'll create supporting characters and such for our characters and the universe as a group, however active players [one post or more per week] will also have the option of a secondary character. Secondary Characters will need the same info as your Primary Characters and will just be used less often whenever you're not coming up with anything for your Primary Characters. Sandbox heroes and villains will also be made as we need them and can be used by anyone and everyone. For now, let's just work on your Primary Characters, can be hero or villain or something in between....

So, who's got superhumans? And who potentially wants to co-create other supporting superhumans with the rest of the group?
| Full Name | Vasile Gunnar Țepeș Василе Гуннар Тепес
| Alias | Fenrir
| Age | 52, appears no older than early thirties.
| Powers | As both a vampire and a werewolf, Vasile possesses the powers of both races, which form an unholy synergy that propel him to strength unmatched by either. A member of the living dead, his skin is cool and unpleasantly dry to the touch, and he possesses no pulse nor body heat. Vasile has no need to eat, sleep or breathe, and he is unafflicted by age, disease, poison, cold, and many other mortal weaknesses. His physical strength, speed and durability are all superhuman, allowing him to twist steel with his bare hands, move faster than a human eye can track, or shrug off seemingly mortal wounds. His natural fortitude also protects his mind from a variety of psychic attacks or mind control. His regenerative ability is prodigious, as most flesh wounds heal within minutes, and even a debilitating injury will only keep him down for a few hours at most. His senses are supernaturally keen, his sense of smell being the most powerful among them. Vasile can move in complete silence if he chooses to, and he can see clearly even in complete darkness. He commands some power over the natural world, able to commune with, summon or spiritually possess beasts, and can inspire or quell primal rage in other animals, werewolves or vampires. He is capable of transforming his human shape, taking on such bestial characteristics as wicked talons or batlike wings. His claws and fangs are the weapons of a supernatural hunter, and as such inflict exaggerated damage against creatures that are magical or supernatural in nature. His bite carries both the curses of lycanthropy and vampirism, which when inflicted upon a person are incompatible and invariably result in the death of the infected. Any normal human bitten by him that survives is doomed to suffer a painful death as the two curses tear their body apart, unless they can quickly be cured or treated for the curses.
As a skinchanger, Vasile can completely change his form in a process that is utterly natural to his kind. He can assume the form of a normal wolf, stocky in build, with reddish-grey fur. He retains most of his human reasoning in this form, but his instincts tend to assume more control over his actions. More infamously, Vasile can take on the form of the "Devil Wolf," a horrifying monster that is somewhere between man and wolf. A creature of pure muscle and unrestrained fury, Vasile's physical prowess becomes ever more potent in this form, but he loses all sense of reason, giving in fully to the raging Beast within him. Any weak-willed humans that witness the Devil Wolf are overcome with a primal survival instinct that sends them into a state of blind panic and terror, with their minds usually blocking out the memory of the Devil Wolf when it subsides. The howl of the Devil Wolf can carry this psychological effect over a considerable distance, or when directed at a single person can inspire utterly immobilizing terror.
| Weaknesses | As Vasile possesses the powers of both a vampire and a werewolf, he has also inherited all of their weaknesses. Sunlight is known to many as the natural enemy of vampires, and Vasile is no exception to this. On contact with his flesh, sunlight blackens and painfully sears his flesh, which melts away with prolonged exposure. While his regeneration is powerful enough for him to survive limited exposure, if he is ever utterly exposed, he will be trapped in a torturous cycle of burning and regenerating until the sun sets or his regeneration gives out. Only true sunlight is harmful to him, but artificial ultraviolet light can be used to temporarily blind him. Silver is an utterly toxic substance for Vasile, as looking at him inflicts him with a headache, and it leaves blisters on contact with his skin. Wounds inflicted by silver weapons, in addition to being debilitatingly painful, cannot be healed at the unnatural rate of his other wounds, and form toxic, festering wounds. Fire, another bane of vampires, has similar effects, and any flame that Vasile subconsciously considers to be too large or too close triggers intense pyrophobia in him. Hot or molten silver carries both of these effects, and there is little Vasile can do to defend against it. As a vampire, Vasile must drink blood to survive, and struggles with the overwhelming desire to feed that is natural to his kind. If he goes without drinking blood, his powers will fail, his strength with flag, and eventually he will fall into a deathlike torpor. Similarly, the full moon weakens his control over his transformations, and while exposed to it there is the chance of the slightest provocation causing him to slip into his Devil Wolf form.
However, more dangerous than any of Vasile's physical weaknesses are the psychological ones within him. Vasile fights a constant battle against the Beast, the primal, alien intelligence deep within him that drives his predatory instincts. While he has enough control over it to live comfortably day-to-day, emotional conditions such as stress and rage weaken his resistance to its control. Vasile is most susceptible to giving into the whims of the Beast when in battle, especially when he has been wounded, and even more so when he has been exposed to one of his supernatural banes. As the Beast takes over his body from his higher mind, Vasile becomes more violent and aggressive, less concerned with distinguishing friend and foe, becomes more likely to accidentally transform into a more bestial shape, and will eventually have no thought other than feeding and surviving. If the Beast fully assumes control, Vasile slips into an insane frenzy, reminiscent of an ultra-violent "fight or flight" reaction.
| Appearance | Vasile is a large, powerfully-built man, standing 6'4" tall and weighing 255 pounds. He possesses typically Nordic features, such as strawberry blond hair, steel-blue eyes and a pale complexion. His hair is generally worn as a rough shag that hangs to the top of his shoulders, and more often than not he sports a thick, rough-cut beard. His teeth are a raw, bestial yellow, each one sharper than a normal man's, and his four eye teeth are exaggerated into true fangs. In darkness, his eyes shine with a sinister ruby light, like the reflective gaze of a nocturnal beast. While he has no tattoos or piercings, a great number of scars mark his hands, body and face; in particular, a branding in the shape of a Sun Cross is burned into his right shoulder blade.
Vasile's taste in clothing is mostly utilitarian. He prefers anything that is cheap, durable and readily available. Denim and canvas jackets and jeans make up the majority of what he wears, along with any military surplus he can get his hands on. Hooded winter clothing, goggles and masks are valuable to him, as they allow him to cover his skin enough to survive daylight. Despite his preference for function over form, Vasile enjoys such items as quality sunglasses, boots and leather jackets. Any time he can acquire one of these items he cherishes them greatly, and mourns them when they are inevitably lost or destroyed.
| Bio |
Vampires are strange and fickle creatures, and becoming ever more so as they advance in age and status among their kind. Mina Țepeș, the noble daughter of Vlad Țepeș (better known as Dracula) and heir apparent to the lordship of all vampires, was far from an exception. Her immortal life was so rich with luxury and pleasure that she desired ever more obscure and debase experiences to keep her endless nights interesting. For this reason, Gunnar Voll piqued her interest. A "gift" bestowed to Mina by a lesser vampire vying for her favor, Voll was a werewolf slave that had been captured in the cold reaches of northern Norway. Entranced by Mina's supernatural charms and bound by heavy, silver chains, Voll was kept as a "pet hound" that was sometimes used to fight for the entertainment of Mina and her noble sire, or taken out on hunting expeditions. However, in this case Mina desired even more disturbing entertainment. Her increasing lust for debauchery drove Mina to share an unholy tryst with Voll, an act that brought a new, unprecedented horror into the world.
In violation of all sense and reason, Mina found her undead body growing pregnant after her disturbing affair. While it should have been impossible for the cursed flesh of a vampire to bear new life, she theorized that the unnatural vitality of the werewolf allowed her to bear a child. The pregnancy was kept a secret, and after nine months Mina birthed her unholy spawn. A disgusting thing somewhere between a human baby and a wolf cub, Mina's brood was born blind, hairless, and dead. It was not stillborn, however, and just minutes after birth latched on with needle-like fangs to suckle blood from Mina's cold breast. Further intrigued by the idea of motherhood, particularly over such an unspeakable aberration, Mina kept the creature and raised it in secrecy. She named the monster, her son, Vasile, "King," as it was surely the most monstrous thing to ever walk the earth.
Vasile grew alarmingly fast, and at two months of age was able to variably shift between the shapes of a human and a wolf. He ran around on two legs or four interchangeably, a rambunctious ball of fur and energy that caused havoc wherever he went, and consumed an alarming amount of blood and raw meat ("donated" by Mina's stable of human cattle). However, a child is a difficult thing to keep secret, particularly one that is vampire and werewolf at once. By the time Vasile was four years old, Lord Dracula had come to learn of his existence, and was disgusted beyond belief. He ordered for the abomination to be destroyed and never spoken of again, as it was an affront to even the unholiness of vampire kind. Acting more out of childish rebellion than motherly instinct, Mina protected the child from her father's wrath, and handed him off to a band of Romani gypsies, who took him in as one of their own. Before Dracula realized what had happened, Vasile was out of his grasp, and the abomination had been unleashed into the world.
For most of his youth Vasile traveled with the gypsy caravans, stealing to survive and hunting down his meals in the ancient forests of Europe. He wandered across the continent, experiencing many cultures (earning the scorn of most), and learning many tongues, as well as the skills needed for a nomadic lifestyle. It was in his turbulent youth that he came to understand what he was, slowly learning from his own strange abilities and unnatural compulsions, as well as the fear and scorn from both humans and other supernatural creatures he encountered. He eventually learned from a forest spirit of his true heritage, and that he was the bastard of House Dracula and the Fenrisúlfr, a tribe of werewolves in the frozen reaches of Scandinavia. Already outcast by the blood of his mother, he struck out on his own to find his father's kin, hoping to find acceptance among their pack.
The journey was long and arduous, but Vasile survived it by forming bonds and contracts with many faerie courts and witch covens throughout northern Europe. He eventually tracked down the Fenrisúlfr, who lived as wildmen in the glacial fjords. Recognizing him for the abomination that he was, the Fenrisúlfr cared nothing for the blood Vasile shared with them. With a surprise attack, they bound Vasile and prepared to sacrifice him as an offering to their archaic gods. The young Vasile then underwent his First Change, a momentous and ritualized occasion to any young Werewolf, grotesquely perverted by his circumstances. Vasile assumed the form of the Devil Wolf for the first time, and was easily able to overpower the Fenrisúlfr. Those that survived fled in fear, cursing Vasile as they ran away. Now truly alone in the world, Vasile spent months alone in the Norwegian wilderness, contemplating his place in the world. He thought of the ancient legend of Fenrir, the wolf for which his father's tribe took their name. Born a monster, he was bound by the gods out their fear for his strength, and he was hated eternally by man and god alike. Vasile identified with the story, for he too was born a damned soul by no fault of his own. He took up the name of Fenrir for himself, and from that point on lived for the approval of none but himself.
For decades, Vasile wandered Europe much as he had done as a youth, passing himself off as a common vagrant. He learned all he could about himself and the world around him. With focus and steely determination, he brought his animalistic side under control, vowing to not be the monster that everyone had assumed he was. He worked odd jobs, squatted in old castles and abandoned homes, or slept in the woods when there was no better option. Despite his best efforts to go unnoticed, rumors of the Abomination spread in his wake, and many wished him dead for a variety of reasons. Dracula sent assassins after him, werewolf packs sought to cleanse him from the world, and even common mortal hunters desired to slay the foulest of all monsters. Vasile avoided them where he could, and killed them without hesitation when that failed. Despite his efforts to leave his past behind, he still harbored a burning coal of anger in his heart toward House Dracula, who enslaved his father and was the reason for his damned existence. To help soothe his desire for revenge, he hunts down vampire covens with the help of his various underground contacts, and destabilizes Dracula's operations wherever he can find them. This has only increased the vampire lord's ire toward him, but he considers it to be worth it for the small measure of peace it brings him.
| Storyline | Fenrir seeks the destruction of the house of Dracula, as revenge for his own creation. He hopes this will bring him inner peace, or at least reconciliation with what he is.
@Dead Cruiser The Co-GM and I are discussing the amount of powers and such and trying to come up with the best way to trim them down. We need powerful characters but from a glance it looked like 20-25 powers including two different distinct wolf forms. Still it's an interesting concept that would definitely add more superpowers to the mix...

Anybody else taking a look at this?
~KL~
That number seems like a bit of an exaggeration, considering as well that some powers are quite minor (such as night vision). But the large number of abilities stems from the fact that essentially possesses two power suites from different supernatural creatures, with only a small amount of overlap.
The role this character is meant to play is smiliar to that of the Hulk. Very powerful, but extremely difficult to control and therefore highly dangerous.
No exaggeration, it's at least 20 or so. I don't mind a hybrid type of creature, but giving the character virtually every single power of werewolves and vampires with not one but TWO wolf forms is a staggering amount of power. For me, if each creature [werewolf and vamp] has 10 powers each, rather than take all 20 powers combined pick out maybe 5 from each. Speed and stealth of a vamp but strength and berserker rage of a wolf. That kinda thing. Bram Stoker's Dracula had a ton of powers and is the type of vampire you're basing the vamp side of the powers on, which is fine, its just having every one of them plus more powers is crazy powerful. Moreso than Hulk even.
1.) immunity to age 2.) immunity to diseases 3.) immunity to poison 4.) immunity to cold temperatures 5.) immunity to mortal weaknesses 6.) superhuman strength 7.) superhuman speed 8.) heightened senses 9.) nightvision 10.) moves in complete silence 11.) communicates with animals 12.) can summon animals from a distance 13.) can possess animals 14.) instills rage in animals, werewolves, and vamps 15.) supresses rage in animals, werewolves, and vamps 16.) Vampire shapeshifting: talons and bat wings 17.) Werewolf shapeshifting: wolf and Devil Wolf 18.) Death bite 19.) Heightened instincts [wolf form] 20.) Heightened physicals [Devil Wolf form] 21.) Howling Psychological manipulation [Devil Wolf form] * causes blind panic and terror * causes mild amnesia * can be carried by the beast's howl a considerable distance
The main power problems I have come from the Devil Wolf being able to induce panic and fear. Those kinda things would happen enough naturally but I don't think it needs to be a power all its own. <<< If its applied with his howl it reminds me of a move in DCU Online, which doesn't make it sounds as bad. Using a vampire's hypnosis would be something maybe in his regular form as a possible alternate...
Another thing was the weaknesses. Something has to be able to kill him. Dracula is the alpha vamp and can be killed. Werewolves can be killed. So why should being a hybrid be any different when he's already got more powers than Dracula? If they're enemies, then Fenrir should've taken Dracula and Co. down in one or two battles if he can't be killed. Especially if the feud has lasted decades. I can see now how the guy will basically be like a superpowered hunter on Supernatural, but one who frequently leaves a bit of collateral damage. He'd likely be under watch by STRIKE but still be at odds with those who view him more as a threat.
The literal count is a matter of semantics. For instance, the first five powers could be all grouped under "Undeath."
The Devil Wolf's aura of fear is inspired by the Delerium from Werewolf the Apocalypse/Forsaken. It's essentially a "cover story" power that makes normal humans forget having seen the Devil Wolf. Superhumans or other supernatural creatures would be largely immune to it, save for when he uses it in his howl.
I'm not sure what your complaints are about his weaknesses, because he very clearly has several mortal weaknesses. He's difficult to kill but it's not impossible.
He's a vamp who can burn/regenerate in the sun for 12 hours without dying. That's taking a vamps MAIN weaknesses and shrugging it off like it's nothing. It said in the CS his skin and body would burn 'until the sun goes down or until his regeneration gives out' which doesn't really give somebody much to go on. @Aro is better at breaking things down so I'll let him try and work with you on a compromise. I'm wondering if a silver coffin at the bottom of the ocean is overkill or just a damnable prison.

At no point did I ever say that he could shrug it off. Being trapped in direct sunlight for a full day is still a horrible, painful fate that would probably kill him. If you read what I wrote, you would see that he is "trapped," that is to say, immobilized if caught totally out of cover. If there's nowhere for him to flee to, he would be essentially stuck as a burning, screaming skeleton until, as I said, his regeneration gave out (which is the most likely option if he hasn't fed recently), or the sunlight stops in some way.
You're also ignoring his weaknesses to silver and fire, which in many circumstances are more easily harnessed weaknesses than sunlight.
If you're serious about the silver coffin, the experience for Fenrir would be like being trapped in a brass bull, that was also filled with tear gas. He'd die a slow, painful death.
I don't know why you're so fixated on trying to kill my character. I don't see any other characters to reference if this is normal for you or not.
@Dead Cruiser Most of what I read looked like 'hurts him a lot' but nowhere did it say anything was lethal. A stake in the heart for example, kills vampires but listed nowhere probably because of his insane healing factor. Like I said though, @Aro is better at breaking stuff down than I am. He had more thought out ideas for trimming some of the stuff down. I like the character and don't mind him being powerful, but it seems almost limitless if it's dark outside and nobody has silver or fire readily available. I just don't want him being so powerful that he makes the rest of us look like jobbers. The sheer girth of power may seem like semantics, but too many is too many. The Co-GM had to trim my recent character's powers as well because my dude was too OP'ed...
Very interested!! Does the alien have to be a villain?
No, but we do have quite a few aliens now, I need to update the archetypes again as two have returned and another plant alien will be accepted soon.

I just have a couple of remaining points from this.
First, is it utterly necessary that I list any weakness as being lethal? I thought there was a certain measure of understanding that something that can hurt you can also kill you. Like, say for a normal person, bullets.
Second, I actually thought I had this written down, but I can put in a stake weakness if need be. I'd be taking another cue from World of Darkness, and a stake in his heart would not be lethal, but would paralyze him and severely stunt his regeneration until it is removed. His regeneration, however, would be hard at work slowly pushing the stake out of his heart, so it's not a permanent solution, and would keep him incapacitated for perhaps a week at most.
Third, let's be honest here. If you're hunting a vampire, a werewolf, or a vampire werewolf, in ideal conditions for them, and you've prepared none of their banes for use against them, yeah you're gonna get your ass handed to you and probably killed. Really what were you expecting by taking on a monster completely unprepared?

Staking you can hurt you, but it can't kill you. The sun could burn your flesh during the day and immobilize you, but if you've fed you've only gotta wait till the sun goes down. And silver... just takes you longer to heal from. There's no measure of understanding, your boy just has unlimited power and nothing listed thus far can actually kill him.

See what I mean? It wasn't in the original CS, but even still it won't put your guy down for the count which makes the whole weakness pointless. Even the Hulk has limits and weaknesses.

Nobody's really hunting anything supernatural, you're pretty much the first step into that whole corner of the universe. Still, 20+ powers is ridiculous with no more weaknesses than you have. If there's no compromising then the sheet won't be accepted.

You're really twisting the words in my CS. Look at it this way. Staking him will make him easy to finish off, as it halts his regeneration. The sun leaves him incredibly vulnerable, and even if he manages to survive a day, he's basically immobile and powerless the entire time. Not to mention that even if he had enough blood in him to fuel his regeneration for that long, be the time the sun sets he'd be in a coma from blood loss. Again, easy to finish off. Silver wounds are regenerated at a speed that would be "normal" for a human, and also poison and debilitate him. Fire is similar, he heals very slowly from it. All of his weaknesses can carry lethal consequences, you're just imagining them in some kind of perfect scenario for him where there are no enemies around and he is protected from all further harm.
See what I mean? It wasn't in the original CS, but even still it won't put your guy down for the count which makes the whole weakness pointless. Even the Hulk has limits and weaknesses.
I can easily write it in. Complete paralysis is really nothing to scoff at, either. I think in your mind if it can't kill him instantly, it doesn't count as a weakness. Also, you picked a really bad example in the Hulk, who has undergone such power creep that he's basically completely indestructible and undefeatable.

Who is this "nobody" that is not hunting him? The vampires that hate him? The werewolves that hate him? Or the monster hunters that hate him? Fenrir has numerous supernaturally-themed adversaries. Is this one of those games where the GM has to "win" against the players?
Again, the number of powers is a matter of semantics. With a different perspective, I could describe him as having three powers. He has three lethal weaknesses, several more debilitating ones, and numerous psychological weaknesses. Before you discount the lattermost, I would just like to say that my character is more than a collection of superpowers and things that can kill him; he's a character.
I think a third opinion would be really valuable at this point.
Hey, I might be interested in this, but jumping into an RP halfway is really, really not my style. Still, I can see that the IC is only two pages long, so story-wise, It doesn't initially look like you guys have gotten very far (I haven't read it yet, FYI), but the OOC is over 20 pages. It will take quite a bit of time for me to read through everything, but I'm willing to be in this for the long haul.
Now this is before having read anything yet, but I'd like to make a Advanced Techno/Evil Genius, basically, my version of Dr. Doom. I don't know what the current roster is (if there are too many heroes, too many villains, etc.), but my character works best in a team and is very generous with the technology they develop, like Iron Man giving Spider Man the Iron Spider suit, my character will attempt to buff up their allies, and attempt to create a team of villains. I guess one issue is, I want my character to start out as someone in the government as a 'hero', they're trying to gain access to databases of super-powered individuals as well as research funding. If possible, my character will use funds to create an artificially intelligent being (Omniac, a second character who would essentially be a technology elemental). I don't know if I want the other players knowing my character actually has ambitions of world domination, although I suppose that won't be a problem as long as people don't metagame.
Archetype: Advanced Techno/Evil Genius Name: Fang Ai Ling (Eileen Fang) Alias: Interference, or Dr. Fang Age: 35 Powers: Eileen was born with the ability to control phenomena that exhibit mathematical wave behavior starting with sound and light, possibly getting into gravitational waves in the future. She uses technology to augment her abilities relying on harmonics. The light and sound is emitted from her body. She is also blessed with a very high intelligence and her personality gives her a certain degree of charisma. Weaknesses: Her power is purely offensive, her body has typical human frailty. Her armor protects her somewhat, but isn't that strong, and cannot withstand a direct punch from a super-soldier type. Her most powerful abilities also often requires specific conditions for maximum effect. Alignment: Villain Personality: Pleasant, bookworm, Machiavellian, curious, idealistic. Appearance:
Interference wears a caped, white enamel androgynous power suit that is easily mistaken for a robot. It looks something like the following image. But the head has a single red camera in the center like the following image.
BRIEF Bio: Eileen went through her life as a model citizen. Eileen was obedient and went through life without incident. In secret, Eileen practiced her abilities; the more she learned about the scientific and mathematical properties of light and sound, the more powerful she became, able to emit anything on the electromagnetic spectrum, and all frequencies of sound, especially the inaudible frequencies. Her intellect allowed her to achieve a high profile academic career doing research for the government. Her research is in optronics: using photons instead of electrons for data storage and transfer. To harness light in this way, Eileen relies on crystals, which she has an intuitive understanding of thanks to her powers; she uses light and sound to deduce the refractive and acoustic properties of crystals before she creates devices to harness them. Optronics will be significantly faster and more powerful than electronics, so Eileen plans to make artificial intelligence based on optronic hardware. Mostly her work is in weapons development, creating efficient laser weapons and sensor technology for the military. As a government researcher, she decided to risk letting her mutant side show little by little because she wanted more from life. Slowly she revealed herself, showing off her harmless abilities, and figuring out the best and safest way to be a mutant working in the government. It wasn't long before the 'proper authorities' came to acquire her. She leveraged her research position and her overall compliant nature and then she started demonstrating the more 'dangerous' applications of her abilities in order to get noticed, pretending that she had 'only recently' figured out these abilities in order to become a government-sanctioned superpowered individual. Early in her life, due to her intelligence, she saw the governments of the world as inherently broken, but she did not succumb to angst and rebellion. She sees super-powered individuals as the catalyst necessary to subjugate the old conflicting governments and create a new united utopia for Earth. An Earth that can stand toe to toe with the allies and enemies in the galaxy and the universe at large. Her final ambition is to establish a Star Trek-esque United Federation of Planets, with Earth at the center. Her intentions are pure, but her methods may be a little extreme as she has no qualms with 'sterilizing', cleansing or purging the world as she sees necessary. Storylines:
Cheating the government of resources
Creating the AI being, Mythos Biblios Omniac
Assembling a team of villains
Attempting world domination
Notes: She wants to recruit both villains and heroes to her cause, since she sees 'villains' and 'heroes' as labels the world uses to divide supers from helping each other to greatness.
@Stern Algorithm Accepted x 1000. We had an evil genius character, the player just never used him in the game [he might've got one post in actually...]. I've been hoping to get something similar since. The refined character roster is on page 1 of the OOC. The game itself started strong with over 15 accepted characters, but several never got posts in and others dropped out before things really got going.
We've already got STRIKE, which is basically our universe's version of SHIELD. You could alter the CS to incorporate that as her government angle, possibly her employers?
I think a third opinion would be really valuable at this point.
I stated before the powers had to be basically cut in half. If you've got ten werewolf powers and ten vampire powers take five from each. Not all twenty PLUS additional powers and a ridiculous healing factor on par with Wolverine or Deadpool. This isn't the first Wildcard Archetype we've seen with over twenty powers. It's also not the first time somebody insisted on a ridiculous healing factor. If altering the CS isn't in your plans, then there's no other third option aside from me telling you to take it elsewhere. Even if somebody was applying for a character like Loki or Ares, if they had as many powers as your guy, I'd tell them to scale it back.
