In April , life continued as usual in Staratia , the rural population enjoyed their lifestyle reading the newspapers (every weekend) and books , farming the land and enjoying some minor spectacles and competitions in the local village , however , in the cities this was not the case since in the cities the life continued to become busier and busier , as the industrialization spread on Staratia and the people started to get used to the growing smokestack and dust . As an example of this the protests of the workers in March of this year became known as the "Gustavian Protests" a not so original name but that set up a new precedent in the country , with syndicates gaining more members and control over the working sector that while still, a very small % of the population was important for the industrial production of Staratia. The members of the congress and several ministers have started to set up talks between the syndicates and the new industrialist in the country in order to avoid further problems in the future , nevertheless , there are people that think the talks are just plain and void , essentially useless , is still yet to be seen if this will continue or halt for the time being.
In the Diplomatic Stage , the minister of foreign affairs Tiedemann Ernst Königsmann continued the preparations for future talks between Estalia and Staratia regarding the trade tariffs on their strait , as expressed in his own words " This is something that must be done for the improvement of Estalian-Staratians relationships that have maintained cold since 1906" , he expects to send the official message to the Estalian government in November.
The Kavonian Denouncement was a small but noteworthy diplomatic move from the Kavonians a small nation that sought to protect peace in the region or at least their own peace by some analyst , Staratia while not having a strong precedent of intervening in foreign affairs besides the Estalian Crisis in 1906 , saw little interest in the matter only willing to send up a diplomatic message to the Kavonian that would set up the position of Staratia in the matter. It said the following.
"Us Staratians are glad that Kavonia , a fellow republic , wants to protect the interests of their population from the ever raising armies of nations like Kavonia , yet is true that they have the right to protect their own nation from threats , they should at the least be willing to talk with their neighbouring nations to reach diplomatic solutions for their problems , something that we encourage for all nations in the continent . Because of this reasons we will back you in this incident."
April 20th The Zellonian delegation speaks at the Foulois Accords. The original man to speak was one of those who had not arrived yesterday, and so James Conrad--an affluent political speaker--took his place. Speaking on behalf of the original delegate, James Conrad gave a heated and emotional speech. "The Kurzingas," he said, "have become a spot of derision among the world. It exists instead that perhaps Zellonia should collect ownership of the island, extending the various rights and privileges to those living on the island."

The Kavonian Denouncement had certainly gotten its fair share of attention and even more was beging given to the matter by Saurilian officials given how close this was. Queen Saurilia organizes a press conference to release her thoughts on this subject for the better of the Empire.
"This denouncement process is exactly why Republics are wanting their neighbors to be weak and frail while they form alliances with the other republics to only gain more land. This is dishounourable tactics at its finest, seeing as how Kavonia immediately borders Saurilia, this is a blatant disrespect. They complain about a small kingdom increasing their standing army while our size much outpaces that! Perhaps the wretched Republic should mind its own business and respect what a nearby country does. Remember, Republics may say that they want freedom for all, but limiting or even complaining about what another country does is censorship! Impeding on the right to defend itself! These basic rights are what we support. If this is what a Republic states as freedom, then the Saurilian Empire will not stand with it! We support the Kingdom of Jouran the name of true freedom!
While the Kingdom of Jouran's support grows, and Zellonia and Estalia's silence, the Republic of Kavonia does not stand down.

Disgruntled engineers of the Goldreich Armory company in Blutland, who were refused several blueprint ideas for aviation designs, start their new aviation design bureau--Havukken Aero. While still working on actual aviation designs, they unveiled to the Blutlandic Army for potential review their Machinengunnen-10, a lightweight automatic machine gun that could theoretically be placed on aircraft for offensive operations. Prime Minister Courts Foreign Support: Prime Minister Josef Masaryk praised the support offered by the Saurellian and Tyro - Antari Empire's for their stances in supporting the Kingdom's right to defend itself. The Prime Minister slammed the Staratian declaration in a session before Parliament... '' with a nation that has two million men under arms to criticize our government's defense expenditure is laughable. If there is no threats on the continent, then perhaps the Republic should think of disbanding some of its own troops? General Gustaw has been a fierce proponent of the re-arming of the military, calling it '' vital '' for the nation's self defense.
Controversial Writer Roman Tacik Gives Inflammatory Speech: Controversial author Roman Tacik gave a speech to a sold out crowd of six hundred at the Trybusz Theater. The well known nationalist and proponent of '' Greater Jouran '' (a theory that states the ancient Kingdom of Jouran existed in parts of present day Dongaria, Parmua, and Kavonia) warned that the so called Kavonian Crisis was a very threat to the nations existence. '' These Kavonian dogs seek to provoke a war and overrun our borders like they have in ages past. We say again as a people, no more! We will fight to the last inch, the last drop of blood to keep these savages from our sacred soil! '' It is expected that Tacik will run for parliament in the upcoming elections, though no announcement is forthcoming. The government has denied that Tacik's position reflects their own but it is rumored that Tacik enjoys widespread support within the officer corp of the Royal Army.

With a population of 2,100,000, the rural Karalians have long labored under Seljuk oppression and while the Seljukii Army had not visited Karalia for nearly fifteen years, the Karalian Independence Party took it upon themselves to declare independence. Knowing however that their meager nation would not stand independent from the Seljuk for long, the Karalian nation immediately appealed to the other Great Powers for aid.
May 10th The Seljuk Army is ordered to partial mobilization. Two divisions--under newly recruited General Hassan Mahmed (Loyal/Alcoholic)--leave the Seljuk capital in marching formation toward Karalia.

[Stand Firm]: We must support the Kavonians! To stand down would show that appeasement is our foreign policy. We will stand firm in recommitting to the support of our fellow Republic.
The Republic of Staratia continued their efforts to support the Kavonians in the current Crisis , even though previously to the implication of Blutland and Tyro-Antari they only saw it as a small diplomatic move , the recent events made the politicians in Staratia looked to win more votes , as always , by supporting the Kavonians in a way of propaganda told to the masses as monarchist versus republicans a fight that has existed since before the creation of Staratia and the other republics in the Continent and the politicians wanted to win that fight sooner or later or at least pretend to win it.
Later in the same month , they proposed a conference between all nations that has been shown their support to one nation or the other , with this they wanted to show up that Staratia was willing to set up the stage for that peace could be prevailed in the continent and supporting the other republics.
Use political cloud Recruit General 1, Carl Jonatan Vieth
After Josh had gotten sick and James Conrad was able to win the minds of the majority before being countered by the Tyro, swine. The 2nd Representative of Zellonia to speak was Gregory Hults, who was known for tearing away at opponents even if he wasn’t necessarily in the right. As such he spoke out against the Tyroians wanting basing rights and suggested that they’d be better used in the hands of Zellonia an actual colonial power who would need docking rights before making the long journey home to Zellonia.
Kavonian Denouncement Crisis
As the head of the current Republic Neil Trellis Roberts, he cared little for the increase in war preparations as Zellonia was doing the same however he had noticed the Zellonian Rivals Tyro-Antari supported the Jourans and even better the mighty nation of Staratia supported the Kavonians. So should war come the largest army and Navy would be together. Zellonia would announce to the world they would support the denouncement of Jouran and go on to say that the empire was clearly preparing for war and they must stand down unless conflict would erupt in the continent.
The Karalian Crisis
The Recent murmurs from the far west came to be true the Sejulk empire was at Civil War and the minor nation of Karalian has broken away. Normally Zellonia would side with the minor powers in hopes of gaining prestige for lowering tensions and providing peace yet with the recent support from the Sejulk empire in the Kavonian Crisis Zellonia would back its allies in whatever course of action they pursue even going so far as to send 1 Dreadnought the ZRN “Victory” 2 Armoured Cruisers the ZRN “Hope” and “Purpose” and 4 Destroyers the ZRN “James” “Covington” “Velos” “Zellonia”. As well as sending 20,000 Zellonian Soldiers just in case
The Saurilian Empire extends its hands to help the Seljuk Empire put down its rebels by planning to send 60 of their newest inventions, the Havka Machine Guns, to them once they had been produced along with 10,000 able bodied Saurilian men. Saurilia goes to show that even if the Seljuk are on another side of a different conflict, would not mean that the Empie would not offer aid if it saw fit, this was a fitting moment. It was a favor of good will and ask for nothing in return, however, the mobilization of the southern country may draw their interests elsewhere. Though, Saurilia has no plans to go to war in the future and instead expand upon itself.
Kavonian Mobilization
The Queen releases another statement about the Kavonians, solidifying Saurilian attitude towards the small Republic to the south. "The mobilization, while even partial, goes to show how hypocritical the Kavonian Republic is. Are they so above us all that they may complain about peacekeeping so far as to go mobilize part of their soldiers? Are the nations backing this Republic so sure that they would want to support these hypocrites? I would implore all nations involving themselves in this conflict to please reconsider, why they would choose to side with a nation who blatantly wishes for another state to give up the right to defend itself. If we are so against war or are threated by war, then why instigate one?"
After nearly an hour of receiving the telegram, Chief of Army Wolfram Ducke quickly sent message to King Arnold von Titanus “My King, it has come to my attention that our colony is at the brink of rebellion, I request full authority to act as I deem necessary and request full authority over the army. The situation at hand seems drastic and are in desperate need of strategic redeployment of our men.” The note was then handed off to a messenger, who quickly left to the Grand Palace.
Arriving nearly three hours later, King Arnold looked over the letter carefully. “So the Hakar killing where simply the beginning of a potential uprising in our colonies. It is a shame that we must take such a drastic turn. Inform Wolfram Ducke that he has full authorization to begin reorganization of the colonies and in the case of rebellion, responding with the full force of the Blutland military.”
When General Kieffer received word that his many of his men were to be sent home he was ecstatic. The telegram read “Due to the current situation within the Serranthian army and our goal to seek a rather peaceful occupation of our overseas territory a recall of men has been ordered. By the end of the month nearly 30,000 men are expected to be returned to the mainland, leaving behind a more focused force of 70,000 men to defend and maintain our colonies.”

Order Unnecessary Elements of the 4th Army Returned to Blutland: Obviously the lack of infrastructure has caused chaos among our soldiers, as General Kieffer indicated. We must recall extraneous soldiers from abroad so that cleanliness and order can be maintained.
Korclev License
Negotiations between the Kingdom of Jouran and founder of Vermögen gräbt, Lennart Ohly where fierce. Due to the legality of licensing to foreign countries, King Arnold von Titanus official seal was required to continue talks of selling the Hollum-Keffler Petrol. A process that took nearly six days, over what was assumed to be long hours of discussion between the King and his advisors.
It was not long before Lennart Ohly, and the Jouran representative finally game to a fair deal between the two countries. When asked about his opinion with selling to the Kingdom of Jouran, Lennart Ohly responded “It is with great honor to expand trade of Blutlandic goods outside of our national borders. It shows the great innovation and skill of Blutland scientists and engineers.”
Lennart Ohly, 1910
Sell the License to Korclev Auto's: Blutlandic inventions are indeed some of the greatest in the known world. By expanding trade within the nation, we bring ourselves closer to the Jourans, as well as provide our own inventors and entrepreneurs some credibility in the international marketplace.
Zellonia hypocritical warmongers
After the recent tensions between Kavonia and Jouran, it has come to the attention of many that Zellonia has chosen to side with Kavonia with the message of forcing Jouran to disarm. What many fail to realize is the lack of mention of Zellonia’s own massive military build up, one that had lead to controversy earlier this year and lead many to believe that they are preparing for war. Adam Elsner, a political theorist and writer for the Blutland National News, commented “This is the most blatant case of warmongering since the Tyro-Antari’s attempt of full political control of the Blutland peninsula before the War of Seven Kings. I suspect that they only seek to establish full dominance over the continent, at this rate. A frightening goal indeed if they establish relations with the Republic of Stratia.”
It was not long after the Zellonians sent an entire armada to handle the Seljuk civil war, were nearly 2 million Karelians revolted in an attempt to become free of their foreign oppressors. A sympathetic plight for many Blutlanders. Elsner continued by mentioning “This Zellonian fleet is only another step to establish control over the Seljuks. I wouldn’t be surprised if they forced them to surrender territory as a ‘gift’ for helping them in this plight.” Polls show that many feel that the Zellonians are an even bigger threat to Blutland security then the Tyro-Antari Empire, a long time rival of Blutland.
Support for Karalia
The official position towards the Karalian people for many Blutlanders has been sympathetic to say the least. King Arnold von Titanus even commenting “It is only a matter of time before the the Seljuks, these so called supporters of peace, crumble under their many layers hypocrisy as they continue to violently oppress the Karalian peoples.” Not long after an unofficial shipment from Blutland of nearly 50,000 Otto Mk.2 rifles had been sent to Karalia through the Tyro-Antari Empire.

Foulois Accord
With few contesting to Blutland demands, many of which argued over who should claim ownership of the Islands, Klaus Ritshel simply stated “With no one arguing against the Blutland demands for trade rights on the Islands, then it is only safe to assume that this issue is resolved. It brings a smile to my face that fellow sovereigns can agree on one thing at least.” Before sitting back and letting the heated debate between the Tyrian and Zellonian diplomat continue.

Swinging in their moorings, the two Dreadnoughts Holzer and Kohlberg lay festooned in light and the sounds of laughter and mirth as they sat fast alongside one another upon the calm waves. The flagship Holzer's decks, covered by striped awnings, were set with circular dinner tables adorned in cloth while that of Kohlberg's provided space for dancing, covered gangways joined the two ships, hung as they were with coloured lights and bunting.
To the honour went these two ships of the Imperial Navy, of hosting both the Emperor King Adalar and his cousin and King of Jouran, Rictus of the houses Wolfram. Upon their steel quarterdecks a ball was taking place, souls danced and dined in an assembly of nobility, royalty and foreign diplomats liberated from their respective embassies. The two monarchs greeted each other warmly, despite the tensions running between states it took much to muddy that of bloodlines as they discussed at length a variety of subjects into the night over cigars and fine platters. For many the night would pass in a blur of swirling smoke, fine wines and food, and the intricacies of the ball upon great castles of steel.

The Carlsburg Affair
Following the recent inquiry embarked upon by Jouran officials into the Carlsburg affair, the Tyro-Antarian diplomatic attaché in Jouran announces that "While the Empire joins the Jouran in grief and a wish for justice in this most unfortunate affair, this justice can only be found from within Tyria-Antar and will be overseen as such, by Tyro-Antari officials and punished by those laws. The truth will be found." the envoy states.
Their Assistance is Not Required: As should be the circumstance, a military matter of Tyro-Antarian soldiers will be investigated by fellow Tyro-Antarians, and if found guilty, punished by Tyro-Antarian laws. The Jourans, though we grieve for the needless loss of life in the 1908 massacre, are not needed here.

Kavonian Denouncement Crisis
Earlier this month, the Tyro-Antarian Empire announced it's support for the Kingdom of Jouran in the Crisis brought about by Kavonian fear mongering. The Foreign Minister of the Imperial Cabinet, Claus Tischer, has since released the following statement in support of his nation: "This crisis developing before us which threatens to undo everything built upon this continent, this crisis enforced by the most militant of nations. The vast hordes of Staratians and the gunboat diplomats of Zellonia bark and yap, they scream for a proclaimed peace with a barrel against your head! These states do not call for peace, they call for submission and compliance, they would have the entire continent at their mercy. Today they demand through their puppet of Kavonia the dearmament of a single state, tomorrow it shall be Saurilia, Dongaria or the Empire herself! A nation's right is to defend herself until the last drop of blood, to the last shell and bullet. Those who demand one can not, should not defend herself, can only hold the most darkest of ambitions of which we will fight."

Karalian Uprising: The Seljuk 14th Army under General Hassan Mahmed (Loyal/Alcoholic) is defeated at the Battle of Harash. Elements of the 14th army crossed the river and were promptly attacked by Karalian insurgents, but managed to repulse them. While handling their dying and wounded, the Karalian Army sortied forth from the hills, using mostly M1902 Schutze rifles stolen from nearby Seljuk garrisons. Outnumbered 2,700 against 8,000, the Seljuk soldiers fought a delaying action, retreating under withering fire from Karalians across the rocky, jagged outcroppings that lined the river. With over 1,700 dead, the Karalians proclaim a great victory.
An unnamed Zellonian fleet departs from Zellonia into the Inner Sea toward the Seljuk Empire. Early that morning, only forty kilometers from the coast, the ZRN Hope, an armored cruiser strikes a mine that long was assumed to have floated from the Sessauan coast. In a span of six hours the cruiser goes dead in the water, lists heavily to one side and flounders. Heavy fog inhibits rescue operations, but the captain and 187 sailors are rescue.

Letters from Jouran agents in Dongaria begin reaching the intelligence quarters there. The Dongarians are immensely impoverished, with a million man army they enforce almost constant martial law under King Carl IV, a despotic, near megalomaniac ruler.

May 16th Saurilian naval theorist Hunter Gonnig formerly an engineer at Throng's Shipping Company publishes his work on combat at sea entitled The Young, Fast and the Bright: The Future of Naval War. Gonnig's ideas are given the moniker the Saurilian Thought, which foresaw naval combat evolving into heavily armed ships with lighter armor. These ships, similar to dreadnoughts but with less than half of the existing armor are entitled Battlecruisers.
While the Saurilian Naval Staff could reject Gonnig's ideas, his writings were subsequently submitted to them for their use.
May 17th As per requested, both Conrad's Crowns Manufacturing and Robert's Reloading Arms submit Blueprints for the ZLR-012 bolt action rifle.
Description: The magazine system uses en bloc charger clips which were originally developed and patented by Henry Donovan, but the actual shape and design of the Mark C clip is derived from the Tyro-Antarian Model 1902 Schutze.
Until 1910, all Zellonian rifles and carbines were chambered for the rimless 6.5×52mm Model A 1895 cartridge, using a round-nose metal case bullet of 160 grains weight at approximately 2,000-2,400 ft/s muzzle velocity, depending upon barrel length. At least one small arms authority noted inconsistencies in powder types in arsenal-loaded 6.5×52mm military ammunition, often with different powder types and ammunition lots intermixed within a single clip of ammunition. The practice of intermixing powder types and ammunition lots in clipped rifle ammunition was generally avoided by arsenals of other nations, as it generally resulted in varying bullet velocities and excessive bullet dispersion on the target.
After reports of inadequate performance at both short and long ranges during the campaigns in training, the Zellonian army introduced a new short rifle in 1907, the ZLR-005, together with a new cartridge in 7.35×51mm caliber. In addition to the slightly larger caliber, Zellonian ordnance designers introduced a spitzer-type bullet for the new cartridge, with the tip filled with aluminum to produce an unstable (tumbling) projectile upon impact in soft tissue (a design most likely copied from the .303 Estalian Mark E bullet).
The Mark C is an adequate long rifle with a simplistic box chamber to prevent jams. With a 7.35x51mm cartridge, it's stopping power is interestingly less than the ZLR-003, but the same as the 1907 ZLR-005. A smooth action and accessibility for new soldiers makes this rifle recruit friendly. -- Simplistic -- Deficient in Firepower
Description: The ZLR-012RR fires the same 6.5mm smokeless powder round as the primary service rifle, but with a barrel that is three inches longer, the "Double R" (as Robert's Reloading Arms engineers nicknamed it) has a higher velocity and by extension, stopping power. With a four round box however, reloads are more frequent. A mere three inches for the barrel length effectively increases range by upwards of thirty yards. The Double RR however requires several handcrafted parts, making production more difficult and ultimately more cumbersome. -- Complicated -- High Firepower

With the first battle at a loss down in the Seljuk Empire and their Havka guns just arriving, the Seljuk has requested that three military advisors be sent for operations and maintenance. Luckily for them, the Saurilian Empire is always in the mood to put down rebels so they will comply for to a certain extent as to avoid this conflict from escalating any further unlike the Zellonians who wish to send much of their fleets. This was the Seljuk's problem after all, they should be able to do it without the help of such a large fleet, but no matter. It only goes to show that the Zellonians and the Saurilians are on the same side when it comes to rebels, they need to be put down with as much force as needed. The Saurilian Empire will send three people as the Seljuk wanted; Sveen Aal, Jacob Morland, and Mari Teslow to aid in mission. The three will be briefed of their task and the Saurilian Diplomat, Zackery Hasselhoff, formally requests that a guard of 500 saurilain men be sent with them. It would be no problem if this would not be allowed, but it is merely a contingency should the rebels find ad invade wherever the advisers be stationed.
More importantly, after many nights of discussion and heated debate, Hunter Gorrig's work is accepted by the Naval department and will immediately begin their work to design one of these so-called "Battle Cruisers". While many are skeptical of this, a cheaper ship with the same power of the dreadnought is always one that should be sought to no end.
-- [Request Category: [Naval] -- [Request Perimeters: [Battlecruiser] -- [Desired Requirements]: The Saurilian military is looking for a ship that will focus on outlasting the enemy while being able to fight back at any given moment, speed should not be a factor in this equation. Only armor and fire power, while the Battlecruiser will not have as much armor as a dreadnought, it is always good to have systems in place that will keep the ship from sinking after being hit once.
May 16th The Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Blutland, Edmund Kühn, who is avidly pro-Seljuk, personally hands King Arnold Von Titanus his resignation. "It is a stellar thing to turn one's back against Empire, when it is a battle we had only just emerged from ourselves. Supporting dissidents because they worship a different God, or wear different clothes is no different then supporting Antarian dissidents in Blutland or Blutlandic dissidents in Antari."
May 17th The Seljuki foreign attaché reminds the Saurilians that their foreign military observers will not be in harms way. Later that day, the three men: Sveen Aal, Jacob Morland, and Mari Teslow board the Kulthus steamer, headed around the Zellonian coast toward Seljuk.
May 18th The Sultanate of the Seljuk Empire campaigns for the war effort, hoping to collect donations and find willing recruits. Instead, in the Seljuk capital--students and impoverished workers begin to gather in protest.
May 19th The first Otto Mark II rifles begin arriving in Karalia, where grateful--and overwhelmingly under equipped militia--immediately equip themselves. The Tyro-Karalian border becomes a hotbed of smuggling activities where Karalians trade anything they can find for whatever supplies local Tyrians will barter for.
May 20th A minor skirmish breaks out at the Kasmus River, where 750 Karalian militia attempt to cross the river during a brief sandstorm and attack a Seljuk garrison there of the Birinci Nizamiye Fırkası (First Infantry Division). The soldiers there, equipped with 5 of the 60 Saurilian Havka machine guns, return fire and kill over 350 of the Karalians, who retreat immediately. The Seljuk report zero casualties.
May 21st The Foulois Accords are ended without conclusion. The Tyro-Antarian Empire remains in control of the strategically important islands, with infuriated diplomats from Zellonia, Estalia and Blutland leaving empty handed.
May 24th The Staratian national bounceball team played its first international, defeating Sessau, 6–2, at Jardin.
May 27th A fire at the Sprengstoff Company near Kanza in Tyria sets off a blast that kills fifteen people, and injures more than 100. Most were spectators who ignored warnings to leave the area. The blast shattered windows in neighboring towns.
May 28th After discovering Otto Mark II rifles among the Karalian dead, the Seljuk Empire sends a diplomatic warning to the Kingdom of Blutland that further support of the Karalian rebels will incur possible sanctions.
May 30th The Saurilian military advisers Sveen Aal, Jacob Morland, and Mari Teslow arrive in the Seljuk Empire, passing through a meandering Zellonian naval flotilla to do it. Under heavy guard, they're escorted first to the capital to talk with the Sultanate and his military staff.
June 1st The 17th and 18th Infantry Division of the Zellonian Royal Army finish training. They are sworn in on a field outside the city of Cronus in Northern Zellonia. 20,000 men strong, they join one of the weaker armies on the Continent, but one with long held traditions and discipline. These 20,000 are that of a volunteer force, another long held tradition with the Zellonian Royal Army.

June 2nd After spending a weekend in counsel with the Seljuk Sultan, Saurilian military advisers Sveen Aal, Jacob Morland, and Mari Teslow depart from the capital of Hakas. Sveen Aal, recording in his journal, notes that the Sultan is very unpopular in the Empire, as displayed by the rioting in the capital and outside the palace. After an eight hour long train ride through the desert, the three Saurilians reach the front--held by 20,000 Seljukii soldiers.
8 of the 60 Havka machine guns have fallen into disrepair--three due to broken gas springs, and five due to overheated (and later discarded) barrels. The front is quiet, as the river forces a crossing before either position can come into contact with one another. The three advisers meet briefly with General Hassan Mahmed (Loyal/Alcoholic), who explains that while wickedly lethal, the Havka machine guns are prone to breakdown.
June 4th The Saurilian Class of 1910 at the Vest-Agtder Aviation School graduate. Although only twenty-five were admitted, twenty men eventually graduated. The 1st Aviation Squadron and the 2nd Aviation Squadron were split into nine pilots each, with two men who showed initiative and ambition during their training promoted to commander of the two squadrons. With exactly twenty aircraft in the entire empire, each man was assigned his own plane.

June 5th The Karalian Provinces send diplomats to both the Tyro-Antarian Empire and the Kingdom of Blutland, requesting military aid and military advisers to help repulse the Seljuk armies that will inevitability cross the river. In exchange for aid, the Karalians promise exclusive trading rights after the war has ended.
June 8th The tribal peoples of Serranthia in the area between Sessauan Serranthia and Zellonian Serranthia formerly announce the Kingdom of Samgola. With a population of only 1,900,000, the Samgolans are a mostly nomadic people, with coastal cities and a capital situation at the harbor city of Kamrun. King Havekon is the reigning monarch, a fifty-nine year old chieftain who accepted the crown only after coercion from several other tribes.

RELATIONS -- Staratia/Estalia: [-4] Both Republics, Staratia and Estalia are at odds as Staratia supported the independence of Estalian Serranthia independence in 1906, sending the rebels there rifles and supplies. Since, the Estalians have wagered a high tax on Staratian trade there through the Strait of Kalif.
-- Thecia/Estalia: [+9] Estalia and Thecia have enjoyed trade for hundreds of years, and while Thecian monarchism reigns supreme, Estalia and Thecia possess a burgeoning trade relationship stymied only by Thecia's distance.
-- Dongaria/Estalia: [+1] With little trade, culture and geography in common, the Kingdom of Dongaria and the Estalian Republic have no opinion of one another. Most Dongarians believe Estalians to be lazy.
-- Tyro-Antari Empire/Estalia: [+0] Two nations whose paths have rarely crossed, the Dual Monarchy and the Coastal Republic have little to discuss, their embassies are rarely used. The former, a more land based power and the latter a more sea based power also have little to complain of one another.
-- Blutland/Estalia: [-14] The Estalians have long harbored their Blutlandic cousins as a weaker bunch. With an inadequate navy, but a superior holding on the Continent, the Estalians often feel themselves looking inwards to a nation they see as inferior.
-- Blutland/Tyro-Antari Empire: [+4] Based perhaps on geography, the Tyro-Antarians and Blutlands see themselves as acquaintances at a ballroom party. Neither party has reason to thumb their nose at the other, and neither party has reason to ask the other for a dance.
-- Madeira/Estalia: [+16] Long time friends, Madeiran and Estalian relations are some of the best they have been since the early 1800's. The Madeirans and Estalians are culturally similar, in that Madeirans speak the Estalian language, albeit with a very unique dialect.
Zellonia/Sessau: [-22] In the early 1800's the Zello-Sessauan Wars were some of the most fierce of the continent. They ended with the Zellonians eventually conquering and fragmenting the large Sessauan Empire, which later became the Kingdom of Sessau.
Zellonia/Estalia: [-15] Although friendly originally, Zellonian's recent decision to begin expanding militarily has soured Zello-Estalian relations, as Zellonia and Estalia may have divergent intentions over the Kizurgas Islands in the Inner Sea.
With the Seljuk civil war just starting to truly heat up, the Empire has been notified by the Seljuks that the Havka Machine guns are prone to breaking down which is problematic. The three advisers confer with one another to send a statement to Her Royal Majesty that a new variant of the Havka gun is needed along the Seljuk front, this was immediately taken to the makers of the Havka, the Lithuanian Arms Manufacturers, to request a new design according to what the three advisors had stated. A gun with more reliability would prove to be more potent over time, so the teams went to the drawing board.
Along the front, Sven Aal states that a river crossing would be too brutal and would amount to a loss in a large amount of life and suggests that the river be well defended and instead make a push to the south. They would push across the river if the Karalian forces shift focus onto the southern front which would allow the Seljuk's to encompass the rebels with ease.
Meanwhile, spies are sent to the rebellious forces and seek to gain a tactical advantage about when and where they could attack so the front would be able to be defended.

With the rise of a new Kingdom, the Suarilian Empire immediately sends and envoy to sew new relations ad see this as a chance to gain a leg up against the empire's rivals who hold nearby colonies. The Suarilians send the envoy Peter Watland to discuss how the two nations could grow closer to each other. In fact, he states the he would be glad to learn more of their culture if he had the time. Of course, he would offer many trinkets that the chieftain such as a golden pocket-watch, many books, and other trinkets that he would think a nomadic peoples would like.

As the Head of Government Trellis Roberts was away James Conrad head of the Conrad party and Conrad Crowns was able to pull some strings while also selling the Mark C rifle far better than that of the double R. As such the Mark C was put into production right away.
The Seljuk Civil War
While the loss of the ZRN “Hope” seemed like a bad oman the remaining crewmen didn’t forget. The 20,000 men that had been sent would unload Seljuk controlled lands and under the command of Colonel Veil Jerjerrod would take his men to the front line bringing fresh manpower and supplies. From there they would move along the coast with the Naval support to breach holes on the revolutionaries lines.

Trellis Roberts, plans to send an ambassador to openly welcome the kingdom of Samgola and begin to lay the foundation for future expansion in the area with their planned support.
June 6th A cloudburst in Staratia adds to existing flood waters, killing 800 people in villages in the Hronstadt district, another 180 in Hemesvar and 100 in Toldava.
June 7th The Seljuk Army begins it's offensive across the river into Karalian territory. General Mahmed acknowledged that even while inebriated, he found the constant "over the shoulder" attitude of the Saurilian military advisers strange. Proclaiming that crossing the river would be a bloodthirsty affair, the actual crossing turns out to be a twelve hour, uneventful action. The Karalian freedom fighters, who number less than 8,000, do not possess the numbers to oppose the two infantry divisions of the Seljukii Army.

June 8th Republic of Zellonia diplomat Trellis Roberts arrives in Kamrun, Samgola and opens diplomatic relations along with Saurilian diplomats as well. [+8 Relations]
June 10th Ships of the Zellonian fleet shell a Karalian village, killing 273 villagers and 3 Blutlandic merchants. 15,000 Zellonian soldiers enter the city and garrison it. The Kabas Incident reflects poorly on the Zellonian Republican Navy, drawing the ire and objections from Sessau and Estalia. That same day, 5,000 Zellonians enter the Seljuk Holy City of Denuyyid on the Southern Coast.
The Seljuk government immediately requests that they leave the city, and are so enraged that the the Zellonian destroyer ZRN Dorset is boarded at the harbor city of Fuyasi and it's crew taken prisoner.

June 12th The Meung Dominion, the largest nation in Faresia--second in size only to the Republic of Staratia, admits in an international conference that due to failing budgets and high unrest, it is willing to lease the city of Tsungmao out to any Continental nation that is interested. With a population of 14,000,000, it is a highbrow provincial coastal city with 2 Minor Dockyards and 1 Textile Factory.
It is now taking bids to lease this city out for a period of 20 years.

June 14th The Seljuk Army starts advancing on the Karalian capital of Seyyud, which is being protected by a mere 3,500 men. The Karalians there begin destroying the sent Otto Mark II rifles in hopes of depriving them to the inevitable Seljuk conquerors. Mass looting begins and over 10,000 flee northeast to the Tyro-Antarian border. The Tyro-Antarians, who had since done nothing to secure their border, find tens of thousands Karalians sneaking across the border.
