Hearing Alexis talk that a true trainer would fight, Rasa thought that she would fight even if she wasnt a trainer. Stealing is a crime. She was personally not surprised the gang ignored the fair route of a challenge of 3 v 3.

"Ready when you are... Ready to let the storm strike!" Said Corina when she was let out on the grass field making Rasa feel proud, that was the spirit that will take them to the top. The opponent released their pokemon and Rasa didnt rally recognized any of them, beside Luvdisc' who started to charm Honedge. Rasa looked at her pokedexs only managing to see all the typing as the now she knew Bouffalant attacked, landing a hit on Corina with his head.

"Corina!" Rasa worriedly stated only to see that her pokemon took the hit not having much of an effective. They had to focus fire. She was about to suggest that as Honedge was raising his attack back up. When Jaden called out to Vix to attack Skorupi. She smirked good she wasnt the only one thinking that. At least that what she assumed was Jaden intention.

"Corina, get around Bouffalant!" She watched her eevee to see if she heard her. "I need you to tackle Skorupi, the moment after the ember hit. Dont give her any breathing room to orient herself!"

Just as she gave that order she gave a nod to Alexis hoping she understood it as well, but what did surprise her was that Jaden was ... Was he trying to talk the opponents pokemon out of fighting them? She found herself dumbfounded at that course of action. She pushed that aside she had to focus on the battle for Corinas sake. Not on the strangest of her rival. Hopefully he knew what he was doing and wasnt just a idiot who turned himself a target for the pokemon he talked to.

Zorua - Viridian city

When he heard Noibat loudly complain about his love for sweet. His only response was to show her his tongue. Ice cream was his only weakness, but it was a principle he didnt pay for it. Watching her huff her complains was amusing to Zorua. He nodded at the fact she wanted to change. He huffed when she in her pokemon form decided to rub against his cheek. Really he wasnt a fan of that. Crossing his arms he watched her fly off and moved in the darker shade of a tree.

She was very quick to return in his opinion as he didnt even get to fall into a nap. "I really, really don't get how ya can stand dressin' up like this everyday? It feels so weird and uncomfortable . . ."

"Loving it." He simple responded to her wondering, leading them into the city. It was true, disguising himself was a passion. They were walking and no one paid them much attention. He made sure he walked just like he saw trainers do when they feel full of themself. Only slowing down two times once when they passed a hair salon who displayed several wigs, and another time a clothing shop with a new assortment for the season.

"Think blue would work with my eyes?" He casually questioned her eyeing a dark blue dress, it wouldnt be the first time he dressed as a girl either. Dresses were so much nicer to his tail. The destination was in sight, a ice cream stand in the children park, with a bunch of the kids playing on the swings and running around. On the stand worked a Bublesaur . She was all smiles, but Zorua was trying to see what tactics to go this time. There were more than enough bags just sitting beside the parents from which they could get the wallets, or maybe try something more imaginative.

"Want to work your magic?" Zorua whispered, knowing Noibat would probably more than love to pickpocket some of them. "I am your trainer if you need back up." He added with a wink, just in case she got caught which he doubted but better having a backup plan then not. He moved to a bench a bit off the way from the children and pretended he was searching for something inside his bag. For a second he felt watched, but it passed quickly. (if you want to introduce your grass ghost pokemon you can do it here @Ashevelendar)

Phantump

Phantump was yet again on another of his trips to the human city of Veridian. She liked going out in the world and see how humans lived , she never understood them but it was funny to watch them move around and do stuff. She was always curious of what they would say or do to each other. Phantump also knew to quickly turn invisible or run away from trainers when they were getting near her. She once got caught and had to fight a Gengar. She was lucky that the trainer decided she is too weak to get capture her and she learned not to get caught ever since.
Phantump was moving aroud the city , trying to remain hidden when she saw something that she didn't believe. Pokemon that had no trainers. Wild like her but somehow no one did anything to them. She approached the one on the bench , slowly and watched her for a minute.
She put a hand on her shoulder to get her attention and quickly disappeared. Appearing in front of her with a playful smile on her face , not that it could be seen with her mask on.

" You are a Pokemon ! Like me , like me ? " said Phantump excited. She always ran away from Pokemon in the forest , she would watch them but didn't want them to see her. Reason why she never spoke to any Pokemon before.

Vix -- To Protect the World from Devastation...

The moment the opposing water type inhaled deeply and puffed out her cheeks, Vix moved purely guided by instinct. Shifting casually to the side, the torrent of water would miss her by a hair, but it would not miss the silken sash she held in her hand.

Within a mere moment, the silken fabric was absolutely drenched, and quickly the young Fox balled it loosely up and broke into a full sprint towards the Marill.

It was then that rom the corner of her eye, she saw the Nidoran boy lower his head and break into a full out charge towards her. Rushing across the earth all the same, she could easily discern that her speed outclassed both opponents easily, and it would be something she would definitively take advantage of.

She allowed the Nidoran to close range in his blind asvance, only to abruptly vault over him in the air! Leaving his face down charge leading to only one target: a solid oak tree.

The second she landed, the balled up silk wpuld be pitched with remarkable velocity towards the face of the Marill's face as well! Hoping to at least briefly obscure the girl's vision so that the Fox could garner a greater advantage than her current state.

Yet all that changed when Jaden barked put his orders for her. Without a smidgeon of hesitation, the little Fox did not wait to see whether or not the Marill was blinded.

"Gotcha!" The the little Fox cried out, flashing a mischievous smile, a wink, and a mocking salute. "Consider it done!"

Suddenly, she bolted for the cover of the tall grass!

Disappearing into the deep green grass, Vix slinked low and stealthily across the ground as her ears caught the sound of the Skorupi in combat. With her ears attuned tonthe direction the Bug was traveling, she arced about him while hidden as she drew in a deepened breadth. as with an abrupt ambush from behind, Vix burst forward from the grass and abruptly unleashed a ball of searing hot fire from her lips upon the opposing insect at point blank range!

Corina

Corina reeled as the Bouffalant caught her off guard, but she managed to keep her footing.

Ah, no! This is my first battle... And that guy is way tougher than me... But I can't lose, my Trainer is counting on me!

She squared her shoulders, ready to put all her effort into a Tackle... then Rasa directed her toward a new enemy.

Huh? I guess that works for me... I'd probably just bounce off his dumb hairdo anyway.

Corina launched herself forward, charging toward Bouffalant... and then past him with a quick taunt of "Smell ya later!" She pointed herself toward Skorupi and launched herself at it, hoping to herself that it wouldn't be too painful.

Round Two - The Route 1 Gang

Mohawk had been engrossed in the battle. Vulpix had thrown a cloth in Marill’s face causing the little girl to cry:

“Hey!”

Marill pulled at the sopping wet material, trying to get it off. Nidoran had barely managed to stop himself from hitting the tree. He had thrusted out his hands and still smacked into it but with little pain than if he had ran full force.

The pokeball Jaden had thrown at Mohawk had completely caught him off guard for he hadn’t been paying attention. The second pokeball Jaden had thrown at Nose Ring was expertly caught, reflexively snatched out of the air before it was thrown on the ground. With a growl, Nose Ring charged Jaden as he drove his shoulder into Mohawk’s stomach, forcing the air out of his diaphragm. Nose Ring snagged the teen by his shoulder, his fingers curling into it like iron bars before his arm snaked around his chest and throat to grasp his opposite shoulder. He jerked Jaden back against his stomach and grasped his arm to keep him from moving too much.

Mohawk was staring at the pokeballs that were on the ground, while rubbing the knot on his forehead where the pokeball had struck him. When he realized that no Pokemon were going to emerge, he faced Jaden with an ugly, grit-teeth frown on his face. The boy started monologing again, spouting his bullshit!

“I’m gonna shut you up!” Mohawk growled and while Nose Ring held Jaden, Mohawk buried his fist into the boy’s stomach.

The sudden attack between the humans caused Nidoran and Marill to turn toward them, eyes wide in surprise. They listened as Jaden continued to shout his beliefs despite the pummeling he was receiving for them.

Nidoran frowned. For some reason, it bothered him to watch the trainer get beat by the two larger humans. It didn’t feel right and it didn’t seem fair. He glanced over at Marill, watching her frown with tears building in her eyes. He could tell that she didn’t like the violence. Gijinka were the ones who normally fought, but to see humans fighting each other…it just felt wrong.

Frowning, Nidoran charged Mohawk before he could swing at Jaden again. His hard head smashed into the man’s stomach, adding another blow on top of the blow he had received moments ago. Mohawk gasped and flew back off his feet to land on his bum and roll across the ground. Marill’s cheeks puffed up and she spat a stream of water at Nose Ring’s face, causing him to recoil and release Jaden.

The two thugs were stunned and staring wide-eyed at the two Pokemon that stepped forward to protect the trainer.

“Are you all right?” Nidoran asked Jaden, while he kept an eye on the two thugs.

Marill stuck her tongue out at Nose Ring as he growled at her.

“You stupid monsters. This was your chance to have a master. Now you’ll go back to being alone and wild! I would have made you strong!” Mohawk roared with his arm still holding his aching stomach.

Nidoran tensed a little at the thug’s declaration. Deep down, he feared never seeing Tommy again, but then he figured it was better than working for bandits.

Meanwhile, Bat Man and Bouffalant were staring in confusion at the events that had transpired between Nose Ring and Mohawk. Gripping his bat, Bat Man ordered to the buffalo Pokemon, “Come on. Looks like we have some rebels.”

Bouffalant smirked and followed his new master over to Jaden, Nidoran, and Marill.

Jaden used Charge on Mohawk! Hit! (Jokes)

Luvdisc was already racing toward Honedge when she leapt toward him for the tackle. The girl passed through him as though he were a…ghost and squeaked as she went rolling across the ground. She curled her legs against her chest and grasped them as she went rolling comically before she stopped with her legs stretched out and dizzy swirls rotating in her eyes.

“Waaah! No fair! My tackle had no affect on you!” she whined, kicking her feet like a temperamental child.

Mullet’s right eye twitched when he saw Luvdisc sitting on her rump and fussing like a kid. His upper lip cocked, his irritation clearly visible. Stomping his foot and shaking a fist at her, he screamed:

“Get up you whiny brat! The battle ain’t over!”

Luvdisc puffed out her cheeks and pouted over her shoulder at her trainer.

“You’re a meanie! I don’t like you!” she closed her eyes tight and yelled back.

Mullet went red in the face. “You think I care whether you like me or not, you little bitch!”

Luvdisc’s fists went to her eyes as she started to cry: Waaaah!

She didn’t like being called horrible names.

After missing Honedge, Skorupi had been readying another Poison Sting when she noticed a Pokemon dart from the grass out of her peripherals. The bug whirled, twirling rather artfully around Vulpix’s right side and evading the Ember she had tried to unleash on her. Spreading her lips, Skorupi revealed her vicious teeth and bit the side of Vulpix’s neck as she passed. Another Pokemon was right behind Vulpix, causing the purple-haired girls eyes to briefly widen in surprise as she twirled out of the way of Eevee’s tackle. After dodging both Pokemon, she took on a defensive stance.

“Wait your turn,” Skorupi told them in her monotone voice.

“Kick their asses Pig Tails!” Slick-back ordered.

GM Notes

The results of the Enemy Pokemons' attacks are posted. If you know your opponent missed your Pokemon, then respond accordingly as though the situation happened that way. If you know your Pokemon was hit, then same thing.

Your next moves will be written as attempts/intentions. You will not confirm the move having been successful. You will find out on the next GM post whether the move was successful or missed. The battle ends when a Pokemon faints. You are free to switch opponents and strategize.

Due to Jaden's sacrifice, the tide of battle has changed and the Pokemon are having a change of heart!

Jaden Locke: Route 1

. . . . ow

Jaden cursed as he was caught by the second thug, trying his hardest to get himself free but to no avail. He looked up at the first one, glaring at him as he braced himself for the hit that was coming.

And then it came.

Jaden, not surprisingly, had never been in a fight before, not any really ones anyway. And while he was no stranger to pain, be it from accidents or his uncle, they had been sharp pains that never lasted long and could be made to felt better by mommy kisses and bed rest. The thug's punch to the gut, however, was the single greatest pain he'd ever felt, knocking the wind out of him as he struggled to catch his breath.

Then he got hit again. . .

and again. . .

and again.

The beating didn't last too long, thanks to the Nidoran and Marill's intervention, and all things considered, could've been much worse. But for Jaden, he couldn't imagine anything feeling worse as he tasted blood in his mouth. He felt absolutely horrible, and he was certain that one of his teeth had been knocked loose in the scuffle. While he had spoken his beliefs all through out the pummeling, after it was over, all Jaden wanted to do at first was to crawl up into a ball and cry. He had wanted to go home, to give up, and just run away from it all. He almost did to . . . until the Nidoran spoke up. As Jaden looked up from the ground, he came to a realization. His words, the words that his Uncle had always treated as worthless garbage, the words that his parents had always encouraged but never truly believed in. . . those words had reached these two. These two had chosen to place their faith in him, and he had been about to cave in to some pain and abandoned everyone.

A strange mix of shame and happiness filled him, threatening to overcome him as tears of his own started to fill his eyes, before he quickly wiped them away. Once he put his arm down, a newfound determination had been set in them. I'm never going to let myself be so easily broken ever again. These two believe in me, Vix trusts in my judgement despite barely knowing me, and I can't let them or anyone else down like I was just about to. I'll apologize properly to them later, but now. . . .now it's time for me to stand up and redeem myself, in my own eyes if no one elses.

To be honest . . . I've felt better. Jaden held his stomach in pain as he got up to his feet, having fallen limply to the ground when the Maril had blasted Nose ring in the face. Despite the rather large amount of pain the young man was feeling, he couldn't help the smile that crossed his face, glad that he'd been able to help these two in some way. However, the smile faded as he turned to see that one of the other thugs had decided to come in and cause more issues. His eyes hardened and narrowed as he saw that Vix's attack had failed and that she'd even taken some damage as well. His first response was to run over to her, already feeling extremely protective of his partner, but he calmed himself with a breath.

This won't be the last time she gets hurt in a fight, Jaden. I won't be helping her by losing my head right now, I have to focus and make sure that we win this fight, cause if not . . .

The thought of these thugs capturing Vix brought with it a sense of utter disgust and revoltion as Jaden grit his teeth together, looking between his new opponent and the pokemon he had at his side. He noticed that what one of the thugs had seemed to get to one of them a little.

"Ignore him, he doesn't know what he's talking about. . . besides, the thought of any pokemon getting strong under a bunch of miscreants like this is laughable at best. They're nothing more than a pack of bullies picking on those they know can't stand against them. A coward's tactic, if I've ever seen one. Jaden said between pained breaths, the beating having taken more out of him then he was willing to let on. He doubted he could take another step or two without falling to the ground, and all he wanted to do was lay against a nearby tree and rest, but the moment he gave in to his pain, he knew he'd lose the two who he'd managed to win over. Even if he didn't feel particularly strong, he at least had to fake it as best he could. And what better way to fake it then acting as cocky as possible, not that he said anything that he didn't mean. "That being said, I'm going to need both of your guy's help if I'm going to stand a chance against them. I could barely distract two of them, so I doubt adding another one and a Boufflant to the mix is going to help my chances. Still, this isn't really a fight you need to fight, and you likely have more to lose than me if we lose, so if you want to leave, then go ahead. Pallet Town isn't that far down the road, and I'm sure you'll be safe with Professor Oak there. It's your choice whether you want to stay or leave, I'm not going make you fight for me if you don't want to.

Jaden would turn his eyes from the two pokemon towards Vix, drawing in a deep breath before giving her a command in as loud a voice as possible.

"COME ON VIX, SHOW THESE GUYS THAT THEY MADE A BIG MISTAKE IN TARGETING US. GET BACK IN THERE AND HIT THAT SKORUPI AGAIN WITH ANOTHER EMBER!!!" Jaden would let out a pained hiss after giving his command, his body not liking the action much at all. He turned his eyes towards the other thugs, taking one step, then forcing another, then another. His steps would put him in front of the Nidoran and Marill, and while he didn't state anything, the intention was clear. If you want to get to them, you'll have to get through me. He turned his gaze towards the Boufflant, seeing none of the hesitation or discomfort that he'd seen in the other two in him. Still, he couldn't let that stop him from trying.

"Sir . . . do you really not mind taking orders from these thugs? Can you really find anything in it for yourself if you remain faithful to this group of playground bullies and thugs?"

Not as rousing as his first speech, but considering his current state, he could likely get forgiven, especially since he did take a few hard blows to the head and face in that beating, one of which seemed like it had begun to bleed rather profusely, dying a streak of his white hair a deepening blood red as it dripped down the side of his face.

Noibat: Viridian City

"Please, ya know me better than that. I'm way ta good ta be caught by the likes of these folks. Now sit right there while I get us some icec-WHAAAAAA!!!" Noibat's confident swagger was suddenly halted by the presence of a hand on her shoulder, causing her to turn around on a time, only to see nothing there. Before she could calm herself down and take stock stock of the situation, however, she could hear a voice from behind her.

"You're a Pokemon, like me?"

Noibat, of course, responded in a calm and controlled manner.

This was accomplished by whipping around and letting out and ear-piercing shriek, accidentally using her attack of the same name on the pokemon, not that it would have much of an effect on the ghost-type. The suddne movment, however, caused the flying-dragon to fall on her bum rather hard, causing her to writhe a bit in pain for a moment as she struggled to get away from the creepy masked figure. At this point, however, her mind had cleared enough for her to put two and two together and get pissed.

"Goddamn Ghost-types, always out to scare somebody with their damn tricks! Shit, haven't ya eva heard of greeting somebody like a normal person!?!? None of this fade-in, fade-out crap. Ahhh, I think I landed on my tailbone." Noibat would continue to mutter silently as she glared at the newcomer, mad at them not only for the stunt they pulled, but also because of the scene they had made her cause. Now they were the center of everyone's attention, so trying to sneak off and work her magic would be much, much harder.

Alexis ran towards Jaden after his talk with the Boufflant , supporting him. " I have to say you are either the most stupid guy I know or the most brave one. Either way , great job. ".
Alexis looked at the scene and wanted to help Jaden when he got caught by the thugs but knew better , much better than to go into a fight. Pokemon were used to fight between themselves so that humans won't but Jaden broke that rule and now the two Pokemon joined them against the thugs. It was a great win and as all great wins go , Jaden had to sacrifice his health. Stupid or brave or something between. Alexis couldn't decide.

It was time to continue the battle. " Shadow , tackle that Skorupi fast ! *looking at Skorupi in the eyes she said* If you don't want to fight , just say so. If you want to serve those that only want to steal Pokemon like you from trainers that cared for you...so be it. " Alexis said with a smile on her face. It would be good if these Pokemon would turn upon these guys. They didn't deserve to be called Pokemon Trainers.

Phantump

Phantump didn't considered that other Pokemon would be afraid of her. She simply wanted to talk with her without people knowing that she is there. " (Author note : I changed Phantump's speech color because it was the same as Alexis's speech color) I'm so , so sorry. I didn't mean it...I just wanted to talk with you. I didn't want to scare you and I'm afraid of humans. " Phantump became invisible again before she started talking to be sure no one saw her but she was near the other Pokemon so that she knows she is still there.

Gredy Silvertongue- Veridian City

With a deep breath in order to help calm his nerves Gredy stepped out of the Pokecenter and into the sunlight with a brand new backpack on his back, pokedex in his pocket as he took the first step on his brand new life as a pokemon trainer. His older sister Biscuit was far to busy working today and the little 'minions' were at school so they couldn't come with him for such an important moment in his life but there had been a celebration the night before so he wasn't to broken up about it; the cake had been good.

Of course the Nurse had been a little surprised when he had politely turned down the chance to get a pokemon for free but she hadn't raised much of a fuss; No doubt she was used to some trainers having pokemon before they registered and got their pokedex which was fair enough. Turning to walk towards the nearby pokemart to try and bolster the supplies he had received after registering a bit, he quietly mused to himself how he would go about earning his first pokemon.

In a way, it depended largely on what kind of pokemon he wanted to go after. A water type wouldn't take much; A fishing pole and some halfway decent bait would go a long way to ensuring that all he would have to do is find a decent spot to sit and wait. A normal type would only require him walking along the route to Pallet Town and if he wanted bugs there was always the forest nearby... What to do...

Before he could muse on the matter further, a loud, ear hurting screech caused him to cover his ears on reflex. Once the sound had passed, he turned his head towards where the dreadful shriek had come from while his hands lowered. That was most definitely a pokemon of some kind... maybe some kind of pokemon battle was going on? His interest somewhat peeked at the possibility of seeing a battle, he moved at a respectable but quick pace towards where he had heard the noise come from.

Turning a corner, his gaze fell on an interesting sight; A boy not much older then himself who appeared to be a trainer, a bat pokemon of sorts that he suspected was the source of the screech he had heard earlier... and what appeared to be some sort of ghost wearing a wooden mask?

Removing the pokedex from his pocket, he first pointed it at the bat pokemon. "Noibat, the Sound Wave Pokémon. A flying dragon type, Noibat can cause damage as well as create hearing problems for its opponents by emitting different sound wave frequencies. They live in pitch black caves. Even a robust wrestler will become dizzy and unable to stand when exposed to its 200,000-hertz ultrasonic waves."

Turning his attention towards the ghost, he listened as his pokedex informed him that she was a "Phantump, the Stump Pokémon. A grass ghost type, Phantump come from rotting tree stumps that have been possessed by spirits. Lonely forests are their preferred habitat. According to old tales, these Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died while lost in the forest."

Closing his pokedex, he turned his attention towards the trainer as he offered him a friendly wave "Hey man. Are these pokemon yours?" Taking a moment to look at both pokemon again... before noticing that the Phantump wasn't there anymore. Still, he quickly complimented "You seem to have taken really good care of them if they are. They both look absolutely beautiful. Got any tips for someone who's just starting out?"

Rasa was impressed at the poison type avoiding the near point blank attack. Though she had to wonder what was Vix doing to actually miss it to begin with. She got bite by the Scorpi and once more the poison type all but danced around Corinas tackle.

"Dont lose focus Corina! Keep an eye on her! You can do it, she is in a fight not a dance contest! " Jaden called out his order and Rasa looked over at him, he didnt look good at all. What did surprise her was the fact that it didnt appear as the two pokemon he first faced of were up to a fight. His silly stupid act actually worked, Rasa felt respect for him just as much as she thought he was a idiot to use himself as live bait. What Rasa did notice and what worried her was that Boufflant had his attention on them.

"Corina you will do another tackle" Rasa spoke loud to follow up the next bit of tactic in a lower voice, hoping Corina hears it and the other creeps do not get a warning on what she wanted to do. " At Scorpy if she isnt passed out from the ember, if she is out cold your target is Boufflant back. I am counting on you. We have to help out our rival."

Zorua - Viridian city

Apparently he was watched and it wasnt his imagination. As a ghost pulled a prank at Noibat, causing Zorua to giggle even when his friend used shriek. Oh he is so going to tease her for this. Especially the small rant she gave about how the plant ghost shouldnt be doing that. He usually wanst too much of a fan of ghost and psychic pokemon but this one he was making an exception for. "Dont apologize little plant. You made me laugh." Zorua waved his hand away placing a hand over his lips to cover the big grin he had.

"You totally have to do that again." He did tilted his head when he heard the ghost was fearing humans and yet here she was in the city in a park with kids and humans everywhere. A lot of which were staring now. He didnt got to question her intention or reason why she wanted to talk to them. Zorua mind instantly jumping to having some scheme planned and was trying to get them in trouble. Did she wanted to steal from them? Innocent looking like she was she could be send to lower once guard. It didnt help her case that she went slowly invisible as she talked. Still he could tell she was there.

"Hey man. Are these pokemon yours?"

A teen asked him, a human and a trainer most likely. Zorua lowered his head a bit, making sure the cap he wore would cast the appropriate shadow over his face.

"You seem to have taken really good care of them if they are. They both look absolutely beautiful. Got any tips for someone who's just starting out?"

His voice much softer as he responded to the human trainer.
"Noibat is mine. Thank you." Reaching with his hand to his cap he gave a small tilt of it accompanying the words of thanks he just said. He stood up and walked to Noibat helping her up, making her be between him and the trainer. Giving her ruffling on top of her hair. He saw some trainer do that. It was silly and stupid, the only benefit he got was that now Noibat hair was messy looking. "We meet Phantump recently. "

Zorua played with his fingers in front of him, he knew he should just walk away from the attention but there was a delicious idea. Maybe risky. Ah who cares it will be fun Zorua contracted his worries. "A can give you a good tip...um if you want it..." He all shyly said, still using Noibat as a cover to not be fully visible as he spoke.

"I give them lots of ice cream. ... Its helps them ... you know...with their attacks strength." Zorua looked at Noibat eyes, sensing the ghost was still there. He continued once more ruffling the hair of his friend. "But a wild zubat stole my wallet...." He ended in the most saddest tone he could muster then he stepped away from the other two pokemon and sighed heavily. Looking silently up at this trainer. Testing the waters on his gullibility.

Vix -- To Unite All Peoples Within Our Nation...

Much to her surprise, the pesky insect managed to miraculously avoid her ambush from behind, and the little Fox was so surprised that her guard was lowered momentarily long enough so that the bug rake her teeth across her neck!

Gritting her teeth to silence a cry of pain, Vix leapt back away nimbly from the bug as it went after the Honedge again. Slapping her hand to the side of her neck to stem the bleeding, she heard Jaden's voice ring out to her from the diatance.

Turning to face him, the sight that met her was absolutely infuriating.

He was covered in blood and bruises, but it seemed at least his words had magically worked! No longer were the Marill or Nidoran after her, in fact they had even turned on their trainers!

So successful was this bizarre tactic of his, that he even went to try it a second time, but not before belliwing another order. Ember, on that annoying bug once again!

Surging forward, the littlenfox slinked swiftly across the ground towards her adversary, this time however, she seemed to be attacking head on! Charging forth, Vix kicked powerfully off the ground a split second bedore she would have been too close to the Skorupi's claws. As she vaulted through the air,she took a deep breath, and attempted to unleash a gout of flame upon the bug from above!

Hoping of course to not only deal extensive damage to the oeat, but to also be a distraction, so that the empowered Honedge might achieve a critical hitnwith his attack!

As the Luvdisc tried to tackle him, Shadow reflexively tapping into his Ghost side and his corporeal form faded slight, causing the pinkette to fall through him and tumble gracelessly to the ground. Looking at her with an apologetic expression for a second, he glared wordlessly at the aggravated human with the ridiculous haircut before he turned to the purple-haired Skorupi in time to see her narrowly avoid the attacks from both Vix and Corina.

He narrowed his eyes as her teeth sank into Vix's neck and slowly went into a crouch as he began to run, slowly at first but gradually increasing to a full sprint as the fox girl leapt up to unleash another Ember. As he stepping into striking distance, he put one fist into his open palm as he angled his body slightly with intention of striking the girl with his elbow, using the speed of his run to increase his attack.

Phantump moved around the human and away from sight. She was scared of humans but only then she realized what Zoura said. She was in need of help , someone stole her...what's that wallet ? How would someone steal a wall and maybe a wallet is a smaller wall ? Maybe that's how that Zubat stole it.
She moved her hand towards the human and quietly took a Pokeball from his belt. She makes herself visible again and looking at the Pokeball she says " What's this ? "

Noibat

As Zorua pat his friend's head, the two newbies would only see her duck her head down, her ears taking what could be considered a submissive and bashful position at the side of her head. Z, however, would be able to see the tense nature of her petite frame as two golden daggers began to bore their way into his skull, such was the intensity of her glare. It was all Noibat could do not to bite his hand right then and now, and given how he was egging on the meek ghost-type from before, she was severely tempted to do so anyway in order to get him back for that.

However, that would only cause a bigger scene, so instead, she turned to face the trainer, doing her best not to walk up and kick him where it hurts as he spoke over her to Z. *Grrr* This fucker better hurry up and leave before I take one of those Pokeballs and shove up where the sun don't shine.

Despite her thoughts, Noibat's demeanor was kept extremely neutral, a bit on the cold side, but not overly hostile. She didn't say anything, nor did she leave to go do some pickpocketing like she'd planned. Between this guy and all the attention the earlier commotion had caused, it would be a pointless effort unless one could turn invisible(Damn ghost brat is stealing my spotlight) or where to cause an even bigger commotion to draw more attention away from her. As such, she simply kept standing in place, arms crossed across her chest, continuing to act as Z's sight shield in order to allow him to hide the few flaws his disguise had.

Gredy Silvertongue

While Gredy continued to smile at the trainer, wheels were turning in his mind as he considered the information that he was given. He doubted the information about the ice cream (it was a treat after all, not a healthy meal) and the unlikely story about the Zubat... Through he couldn't discount the possibility that the latter was a lie. Some Pokemon were known to steal from trainers after all...

There was a sure fire way to tell if this was a con or not through.

With a slightly worried expression on his face, Gredy looked the part of the sympathic bystander. "That sounds horrible. I'm sorry for your loss. If you want I can show you were the police station is. I can't promise that they will get your stuff back but if some of the local zubats are outright robbing trainers they need to be informed."

Before he could see how his 'overly helpful bystander' plan played out, the Phamtump from before returned... With one of his poke balls in hand and confused by what it was. That didn't make sense if she belonged to a trainer...

Trying to keep his cool so that he didn't frighten the ghost Pokemon off, Gredy answered her kindly "That's a pokeball. It is what trainers use to carry around their Pokemon when they are tired, injuries or traveling quickly. That one is currently empty because I haven't found a Pokemon that wants to partner up with me yet."

Phantump was looking at the Pokeball when she heard Gredy say it's used to keep Pokemon inside. She quickly dropped it and with a squeak she went behind Noibat.

" A trainer ? No , no , no. Please keep me safe. " she became transparent ( she can be seen but harder ) and was trembling from all her joints.

Zorua

The fox pokemon noticed Noibait displeasure and annoyance, but didnt addressed it as he had to focus on the trainer. The trainer who offered to show him where the police is. Zorua knew where it was as he regularly visited the two cities bordering the forest he lived in. He liked this part of the city because the police station was on the opposite side. Yet the pokecenter and the cheap inn for the beginner trainers was close enough.

He wanted to say no and go back on track lowering his head a bit, it was then the spook pickpocket the trainer. Asking about a pokeball, the boy explained it and even so far as saying nearly carelessly a important information to Zorua ears.

"... because I haven't found a Pokemon that wants to partner up with me yet."

That tidbit of information changed everything. No pokemon partner meant no one able to stop them. No pokemon partner meant as well no chance of weakening them and using those balls to catch them. This trainer was basically a freebie now in Zoruas eyes. They just had to lead him away to a place with less eyewitnesses. Zorua barely registered the ghost panic at the moment.

Zorua took the edge of his hat and bowed slightly. "Thank you, if you could take me there I would be more than happy." He said in his small voice and turned to take Noibat hand in his own.

"Come Noibat, this nice man is helping us." The dark type pokemon looked at the scared ghost behind his partner in crime and rolled his eyes. "You are safe with us. Do as we tell you and all will be fine. " He whispered to the ghost reaching out and petting her or at least trying to but his hand went thougth her barely visible form. Becoming invisible would be useful and Zorua was betting the pokemon was really young if it didnt even know what a pokeball was. They could use her in their schemes, then again it would take lot of work to make her into a proper partner in crime seeing her childish reactions. He left the decidion for later and once he could freely talk to Noibait about it.

He lead Noibat closer to the trainer and waited for him to start leading them to the police station. In his head searching for a sidewalk or empty building on the way they can stray him off the way to. "What is your name?" He politely asked. "I am Rua Zo. My mom named me." Zorua said, deep down in his mind he was giggling like made at how oblivious he made his human name, and was just as sure no one will catch on either. As the few adults he had to lie about his name ate it up. And it wasnt directly a lie either. His name did had Zo and Rua in it. With a grin on his face he looked at Noibat to see her reaction at his name

"Why dont you have a partner yet?" He asked as well looking back at the newbie trainer.

Noibat

Hmph. . . seems like this guy isn't a complete waste of space like most trainers . . . still don't like him. Noibat thought as she listened to him, though when the ghost-type hid behind her, she didn't scold her again, taking a more prominent stance between them and the trainer. If he tried to pull anything, she'd be certain to make him regret it.

When Z started moving them towards a more isolated location, Noibat remained silent, still watching the trainer distrustfully as she kept herself in between the ghost type and the trainer. She did nod towards Z, however, so that he knew that she was listening and okay with the plan. With no Pokemon on him, he'd normally be easy pickings, but the Ghost made for an unknown factor that she didn't think either of them could really handle, as they only had normal type moves, which were effectively useless against her if she decided to be an issue. At the point, she'd likely call for Z to shift into Poke form before changing herself and flying them both out of there. If they couldn't deal with the ghost, then no matter how young or naive they were, they'd be at her mercy. Not to mention that Ghost types tended to have a whole bunch of tricky status moves, so they'd be in big trouble if she got them with one of those.

I've got a bad feeling about this . . .

Gredy Silvertongue

Things weren't adding up; If the Phantump belonged to the trainer in front of him, he was fairly certain that she would have at least understood what a pokeball was... the fact that she also seemed to be deeply afraid of him for being a trainer was actually kind of worrying for completely different reasons. Could the ghost pokemon have been abused by a trainer in the past and now was deeply afraid of being near another one? It was hard to say.

The trainer Rua Zo surprised him somewhat with his willingness to actually head towards the police station; While it did add some weight to his story about being robbed by a pokemon a little, something about the whole situation seemed off and it put him on edge. Still, there wasn't much he could do besides lead the way... after picking up the dropped pokeball first of course.

"Why dont you have a partner yet?"

It was a good question and Gredy shrugged a little as he answered "My name's Gredy. As for why I don't have a partner yet... If you want me to be perfectly honest it's because I kind of want to earn my first pokemon via my own merit rather then just being given one to start with..." Reaching up to rub the back of his neck, he seemed almost... bashful about admitting that aloud. "It's just... I guess I wanted to have a partnership built off a foundation of mutual respect with my first pokemon from the get go, you know?"

"How did you meet your Noibat? I wasn't kidding earlier when I said that you've down an amazing job of taking care of her. " Gredy asked quickly, starting up a new conversation before glancing at the Noibat in question. "Did you pick out your outfit or did Rua? Because either way it looks absolutely fantastic on you."

While he was giving Rua and his Noibat most of his attention, he was glancing at the Phantump was well... hopefully having a normal conversation would help ease her fears and he could invite her into the conversation as well.

Zorua

As Zorua listened to the trainer talk about mutual respect and earning a pokemon trust, had to admit it sounded nice. Yet the dark pokemon was positive those were nothing more than words. Pretty phrases one toss around to sound noble. A act or mask whose function is not only to hide true face in front of the world but to hide it ugly head from oneself as well.He himself wasnt that opposite trainers he simply enjoyed his freedom. Loving the night sky and he couldnt imagine a version of his life where he wouldnt get to sleep out in the open. Than he knew Noibat and knew how bad things went with her, he listened to her warning about trainers. Adding weight to the his resolve to stay free.

"How did you meet your Noibat? I wasn't kidding earlier when I said that you've done an amazing job of taking care of her. " He was asked by the trainer, seeing him ask the flying type pokemon directly.

"I meet her in the woods. " He started playing with the button on his clothing, keeping his eyes cast down.
"She crash-tackled me to the ground. It was a interesting first interaction." It was a fond memory, he didnt appreciate getting tackled by her, true it wasnt an intentional tackle more had to do with an flying incident. She kept that annoying habit, than it would be weird if she stopped doing that.
"She choose her own clothing. I find it suit her as well."

Zorua answered instead of Noibat, wanting the man to keep his attention on him. There was coming a construction site, It was a good possibility, especially if they got the trainer to go in the small back alleyways behind the place. The noise from the machines should help cover any cries for help. He needed to keep the trainer attention a bit longer occupied so he doesnt notice it. So more small talk.

"What did you family think about your choice? When I started I had sadly little cash, but I earned over time. With hard work."

Another kind of half lie, stealing was hard work. Especially if you dont want to get caught in both sense of the word. He walked a bit faster letting Noibat and the trailing ghost fall behind them to cut any futile escape from Gredy. While at the same time he was fishing for how much the man had on him. Did he had cash, or did he already spend all the money, Zorua wondered already planning where he could sell potential items they get off him.
"I bet you parents are proud of the way you choose to start it. "

Charmander was walking about the city, or rather, sneaking about. She didn't particularly want to run into any trainers that might think she was an easy catch, the young pokemon was quite content, and didn't think she needed a trainer. Just yet. She walked with a swagger, humming to herself as she walked, swishing her tail.

She stopped as she saw a couple of trainers and a few pokemon. Shifting, she watched them a moment, finding out that one appeared to have lost something while the other appeared to be helping them. Frowning slightly, she studied them, feeling like something was wrong with this. She followed them at a distance, tilting her head as she thought.

What was it? Charmander, curious, had to find out.
