Physical Description: Pandaren as a whole look incredibly similar to humanoid pandas, sporting powerful stocky builds and five fingered hands with opposable thumbs and claws. Liu Sho is no exception, standing at five foot five inches and with a wide body with deceptive muscle under his furry form. He weighs one hundred and twenty five kilos, but moves with trained grace and carefree stride. He usually wears the traditional garb of his people (see reference) and carries a large flask on his back.
Personality Description: Pandaren are carefree individuals who enjoy every day as it comes and live their lives carefree and happy. They prefer to avoid conflict, and Liu Sho adheres to this almost religiously hence his neutrality. However, when angered a Pandaren loses themselves in battle which can make them a dangerous foe, and ally.
Natural abilities: Physically as strong as a bear, Liu can lift four times his weight with effort. His claws can rip through flesh and his fangs have enough bite force to tear out a man’s throat with ease. On all fours, he can sprint at thirty five miles per hour, on two feet he can manage twenty. He’s agile for his size, through a life of training in martial arts and spirituality, although his drunkenness usually mars this grace slightly. He can move about as fast as a peak human, and his reflexes are at human peak, despite being drunk most of the time. He is also physically robust, allowing him to take hits but also giving him above human stamina.
His sense of smell is heightened significantly as is his hearing, his eye sight is about the same as the average humans but is only half as effected by the dark.
His body is as durable as a pandas, thick fur protects him from the cold and elemental attacks to some degree. Arrows struggle to pierce his hide and sword strikes thrown with the strength of an average human are only capable of minor grazes.
Adapted skills: Liu spent his young life in the ritualistic and spiritual monk training of all Pandaren, this has led him to develop skills in martial arts. This accounts for his unnatural grace, even under the influence. He is fond of a style of drunken fighting, where his senses are numbed yet his fluidity in battle becomes completely unpredictable.
He’s also an adept stave fighter, and can use a wide multitude of other weapons at an apprentice level, only modern weapons are completely unusable in his hands, and he’s not a particularly good marksman either.
He has a moderate amount of acrobatic skill and climbing ability, exceptional when considering his build and bulk. He’s also very good at making beer.
Magical ability
Liu is an elementalist, in all things the Pandaren believe in balance so he dabbles in the four major elemental powers, at the cost of any great expertise in any one, his elemental control is incredibly short ranged and always requires some form of gesture, but can be projected outwards like ordinary spells. His abilities with each element are as followed.
Fire: Liu can use his ability to spark up a flame in either hand and throw it a short distance, he can also augment his attacks with fire and essentially create it at whim at close range. All fire he creates dissipates at ranges above twenty feet or after five seconds have elapsed, preventing it from actually setting things alight for long periods of time. His average flame is about as hot as a camp-fire, though with certain combinations it can grow hotter.
Earth: Liu can raise rock around him to form dust clouds or destabilise the ground in a five foot radius around him by impacting it physically, larger impacts cause a greater shockwave effect and can even throw people backwards or knock them off their feet. He can also channel this ability into his strikes to do additional damage to structures or even enemies made of rock.
Air: Liu can use the air to only a small degree aggressively, using it to fuel his fire to greater heats or disperse alcohol for the fire. Passively he can hear words spoken from around a thousand meters away and feel significant breakage of a body of air in a radius of about fifty feet around him if he’s concentrating. It does allow him the ability to use air to speed up movements for short bursts and gives him a degree of control mid-air, though not at the same time as using other powers.
Water: Liu most prefers his manipulation of fire and water. With water he can manipulate liquids (so long as they are predominantly made of H20) and heal wounds. He can manipulate liquids around himself up to five feet at speeds fast enough to knock a grown man off their feet and volumes of around twenty litres. The magical healing qualities of water are near boundless, however Liu is currently only capable of healing light grazes and the like in battle, and must work hard for long periods of time and concentration to deal with serious wounds. Character Equipment: Chen’s Flask, a casket carried on his back which fills with any beverage Liu wishes. This could be water, or alcohol of any kind. There are also three magical alcoholic beverages which can be produced in the flask. The Flask was an artefact long lost by an ancient Pandaren adventurer and brew master. Liu adopted the role of its guardian after finding it by what he believed as chance in his wanderings. The cask is incredibly difficult to damage or pierce, but not impossible, any damage done to the flask magically repairs itself after a period of time directly proportional to the severity of the damage. Something like a bullet hole for example would take an hour to repair. The flask only works for Pandaren and is bound to Liu’s soul, which in the strange world he finds himself in is renewable. This allows him to track the flask no matter where it is taken, and it takes enormous power to completely destroy.
Magical Drinks: Using the Flask Liu can create drinks with magical effects which he can then consume. He can only be under the effect one at a time, and all come with minor set-backs (not to mention increased drunkenness.)
Xian’s Steadying Ale: Provides Liu with resistance to fear and magic, it also makes him incredibly difficult to unbalance by force, however he grows slightly more sluggish and heavier, dropping his speed down to more average human levels.
Lian’s Supple Brew: Provides Liu with an added grace and agility, allowing him to move roughly twice as fluidly and fast as before. It also heightens his to twice human peak, however he also becomes easier to knock over and seems lighter.
Warrior’s Spirit: Forces Liu into a beserker rage with doubles his strength and endurance, and allows him to use his fire power with more force, but only at melee range. This drink allows him to overcome paralysing and poisoning agents for a short period.
Character History: Liu set out at the age of twenty as was custom. Twenty marks a quarter of one’s life, with the Pandaren’s average lifespan of eighty years. He wandered the world looking for ingredients for brews and experiences, not particularly bound by morale’s and happy to take each day as it comes. His trials lead to a strange occurrence however as he happened upon Chen’s flask, an ancient Pandaren artefact which greatly enhanced his powers while also giving him a sudden insight into his purpose in life. He still wanders, but he is bound to protect the flask at all costs.
In the World of War Liu paradoxically runs a small tavern on the outskirts of Alexandria, a small homely place, but his dominion of it and the fact that it has not been taken from him suggests he might be more than meets the eye to any weary traveller.

Being artificially created her body doesn't have natural birthmarks or a belly button, and her face is oddly symmetrical, where most people have minor deviations. People often pick her out as unnatural at first glance and some might even be off put by her.
Personality: She's generally gentle, quiet, and polite. However, she doesn't mind having fun and she's not shy even though she doesn't run around laughing and talking to everyone very often. She doesn't see herself as being able to fit in very well and doesn't want to mess things up for everyone. Sometimes she makes things harder on herself than they need to be. She never lets things get her down, though, as she somewhat enjoys doing hard work for the sake of others.
She finds combat as necessary in certain circumstances and can unemotionally eliminate threats as they appear. She will often try to peacefully settle situations before things come to that. She's not one to hold grudges for very long.

Combat Training- She was "programmed" at birth in self defense and had additional training for four years by an elite organization that was the main focus of her time there. As such she's very skilled with a sword, pistol, and hand to hand, as well as having a familiarity with many other weapon types. Her programming isn't as valuable as real world experience, however, so a wise master of any weapon she's trained in would still wipe the floor with her unless they were simply too physically outmatched. She has a balanced fighting style rather than excelling at any single point.
Random Job Skills- Practically useless in a fight, but expect her to have some skills in random jobs that don't need degrees or much special training. For example, she has been a waitress, maid, traveling circus performer, etc. as she goes from planet to planet.

It has a white and light blue motif and looks like an athletic person's uniform. She wears a sleeveless turtleneck under a short sleeved jacket that zips down the middle, which provides the most of her protection. She wears shorts and a belt. She has fingerless gloves that go up to the middle of her upper arm that has some padding on them. She has knee high flat soled boots and socks that go up to mid thigh level.
Hands and Feet: A sleek white device around her ankles and wrists, taking up about half of her forearms and calves, emits blue energy out towards the elbows or feet to partially negate gravity, allowing her to fall at half speed and jump twice as high as a normal human, carrying her across a city street in a single bound, but this doesn't equate to much increased kicking power. They burn out after repeated use of around thirty seconds without giving it a chance to cool down more than three seconds in between uses. Overdrive bursts on her feet can allow her to leap over three story buildings, this time with explosive energy to also allow increased kicking power, while using it on her hands allow her to outpunch a gorilla. However, these overdrive moves only allow a single quick burst and must recharge for around 60 seconds to use again. Their defense is on par with steel, but feels and looks more plastic-like.
Weapons: Her weapon looks like a pencil sized cylindrical rune covered object attached to a necklace. However, it can be removed and activated with her soul, exploding vibrantly into one of two forms in two seconds time; a pistol or a hand and a half sword that retain the sparkling white rune covered look. This sparkling energy is used as bullets for the gun form, allowing it no reloading time needed and as many bullets as her energy can sustain, which is around fifty shots, but she's working on improving her stamina. She can fire bullets off once a second. They hit as hard as what would be expected of normal handguns and can damage things not hurt by physical bullets. The power, unfortunately, wears off more than normal bullets over distance so has an effective range of only 60 feet, further than that more than likely nonlethal. She can willingly decrease her power to get more shots in accordingly. In it's sword form, with a blade length of 2 feet 3 inches, it can increase in power by surrounding itself in her energy, allowing her to cut thick through steel breastplates after a couple good whacks. She can sustain the energy for ten seconds. This weapon system is twenty times as durable as steel and dulling is not considered a problem.
Other: A circular device, same size as a stopwatch, in the left inside pocket of her jacket, can be activated to open up a portal to allow her to travel the multiverse. However, hers is weak so requires around 24 minutes of motionless as it calculates all of the spatial warping needed.

She was created as part of a biological weapons program by a dangerous, powerful group known as Chevlar. They mixed DNA of ancient beings and humans to create super soldiers that would follow their every command. However, her creator, Lord Alxon, did an unauthorized experiment and used a second human as part of the DNA mixing process. The human used was his deceased wife. Thanks to this unusual mixture, Riia had the free will of normal humans despite pretending not to for some time, as per Alxon's wishes. She also retained some human experiences as vague memories that left her not as much of a blank slate as her fellow creations. On the downside, she wasn't as strong as them either, being on the level of failed experimental soldiers.
She was intentionally left in the dark about Chevlar's goals due to this weakness and the higher ups catching on that she's not as controllable as the others, making her almost worse than useless to them. They also saw Alxon as power hungry and a possible source of betrayal, putting suspicion on his creations by default. Ria herself was more like just a fly on the wall compared to him, so was able to escape during the battle as special forces stormed Alxon's mansion in an effort to kill him before he carried out his own plans. She doesn't know what became of the battle as he teleported her to another location while it was still ongoing. He warned her to stay well away from Chevlar and not to go looking for him.

Xiomara stands at six feet and three inches tall with a body that celebrates both the male and female aspects of the human form. Broad shoulders and powerful muscles line his form without being ostentatious enough to detract from the subtle curves that flow steadily downwards. Aside from the unusual blending of genders Xiomara is a picture perfect example of human health with two arms, two legs, and a head. His skin is a pale shade of brown with a tendency to bronze over the course of an encounter while his face is that of a woman with predatory features and given to stern expressions but beautiful nonetheless. A head full of wild red hair follows his every step with individual strands that writhe with a mind of their own.
Xiomara prefers to wear furs, trinkets, and trophies obtained over the course of his adventures that often result in him appearing as something of a half-armored savage.
Personality Description:
Xiomara is an shockingly honest person. Blunt to the point of being rude with a complete inability to understand metaphors, allusions, or other obfuscating tools of language. Though not quite a luddite he is derisive of modern values and lives by a strict code of honor, stubbornly so, even when proven wrong. As one might expect he loves combat. Despite a slew of negative personality traits, largely centered around savagery, there is a streak of humanitarianism running through the core of his being; one that while harsh is nonetheless fair.
Powers, Skills, and Abilities:

When Thaddeus beseeched the gods for their help he never expected a response but a response he received and an emphatic one at that. Savage Vorsours descended from heavens and breathed her holy fire into him with a kiss, destroying the man he had been and forging him into something more than human, all so that he could carry her gift inside of him. Now his heart is an engine that pumps liquid fire through a body built like a machine. He is stronger, faster, and more durable than he could have ever dreamed of with dire magic pumping through his veins but in exchange Vorsours tore off that face and stole that voice that had enchanted her so. Realizing that it would not do for her favored to wander without a face she gave him her own and fashioned his new body so that it could better represent her. In a sense Thaddeus is gone and he has been replaced with the avatar Xiomara.
Xiomara has a number of natural abilities afforded to him which will be presented in list form for the sake of brevity:
*Increased physical strength, speed, and durability.
*Immunity to disease, toxins, aging, weather, and other natural hazards.
*Flame generation and manipulation.
*Steady out of combat regeneration.
*Communication with and control over non-sentient predators.
*Increased resistance to mental incursion as well as a complete immunity to subversive tactics.
*Able to manipulate his own physiology in order to create extraneous limbs, weapons, and defenses.
*Untapped blood magic to perform minor magical tricks and rituals.
*Able to grasp, manipulate, and otherwise damage supernatural energy forms including the magical and the immaterial.

Though Xiomara is certainly powerful all of this power comes with a serious drawback. Over the course of battle Xiomara steadily deals damage to himself with the most obvious sign of wear and tear being the steady darkening of his flesh. Though resting in the middle of combat can allow his body to cool down the effect is constant and the final stage involves complete calcification at which point Xiomara himself is completely vulnerable, both to outside attacks and to the vicious will of Vorsours.

[Bloodwood Sword]
Carved from the Bloodwood tree, so named for the way that it feasts on corpses and the rusty red of the wood it produces, the Bloodwood Sword is a five foot long double-edged monster of a weapon. Though dull along each edge the Bloodwood Sword produces a natural sap that hardens the edges to a keen point that is capable of cleaving through stone and steel alike. Though incredibly durable the Bloodwood Sword can in fact be broken, in fact it regularly suffers damage throughout the course of battle, but as the blade is alive it will eventually regrow so long as it remains connected to the hilt. The magical nature of weapon allows it to cut and cleave through the magical and other energy based constructs while still dealing maximum damage, if not more given the tendency for most immaterial creatures assay defense.
Finally the Bloodwood Sword while not particularly intelligent is malignant in its own manner. The blood will soak up any blood that it encounters and if it finds purchase in an opponent it will attempt to take root within the foe and swallow them whole. Any blood that it drinks is transformed into energy which Xiomara has full access too.

His long blond hair can often been seen flowing in the wind while his goatee is the most remarkable facial feature. Hyperion can often been found roaming the early 21st century earth in regular human clothing. He prefers blue jeans, black biker boots, a black shirt and a black leather jacket. In combat Hyperion wears his traditional Spartan clothing and armour.

Natural abilities: Hyperion is Half-Titan. He can tap into his titan life force in order to greatly boost his his natural strength, speed, stamina and durability. In his normal state he is at maximum physical condition a human can attain. He can run as fast as Usain bolt, lift as much weight Aleksey Lovchev and jump as far as Mike Powel while wearing all of his Spartan equipment.
Titan force: Hyperion can tap into his Titan life force in order to greatly boost his natural abilities to super human levels. However he still is half human which means he can only tap into this force for a restricted amount of time because his body cannot cope with the amount of stress that such a boost in powers come with (read 6 posts). Once titan force runs out it leaves Hyperion severely drained. After using titan force Hyperion cannot activate it again until he has had a period of rest.
Strength: 5X increase of strength
Speed: 5X increase of speed. Which would result in being able to run about 220 km\h and instantly accelerate to topspeed.

Solar flash: Solar energy is gathered and transformed in a sudden burst of light. Temporarily blinding those who see the flash.

Supernova: Hyperion moves his hands above his head and starts to gather a large portion of solar energy to form it into a massive ball . The longer he gathers, the larger the ball becomes. Once enough energy is gathered, the ball is thrown towards the opponent. Upon contact with a large surface the ball expands in a sphere of super-heated plasma, vaporizing everything in its path.

Doru (Greek Spear): The doru that Hyperion uses is about 2,5 meters long. The shaft is made from a tree that grows on mount Olympus and its buttspike and tip where forged by Hephaestus from iron found in the realm of the gods. The quality of materials used and the craftsmanship of the god makes this particular doru a true work of art.
Xiphos (Greek short sword): The Xiphos is a one handed short sword with a blade of about 60 cm. The blade widens near the tip and them moves on to a sharp point. The so called leaf shape. The xiphos is both good for thrusting and cutting. Hyeprion’s Xiphos is well made and durable. It does not lose it sharpness.
Hoplon (greek shield): Myth sats that Hyperion has stolen the legendary shield “Aegis” from Zeus. The Aegis was crafted by Hephaestus and legend says that it carries the head of Medusa and is thus able to turn enemies into stone. However the head of Medusa is not present in the shield that Hyperion carries making it thus not the actual Aegis. Non the less it is a shield crafted by the gods and used in battle by those same gods. This bronze hoplon is polished so brightly that those who face it will see their own fear reflected in it. The shield can withstand a point blank shot from a modern main battle tank.
Cuirass: The bronze cuirass offers more protection then it would suggest. It is actually capable of stopping standard rifle rounds.
Helmet, leg and arm guards: The helmet, leg and arm guards offer similar protecting as the cuirass.

When Leonidas marched out towards Thermopylae he left Hyperion behind. Angered by the fact that the king denied him the chance to prove his worth in battle he followed in pursuit. He over watched the battle unfold and noticed that the Persians failed to break through the Greek ranks. Still angered by the decision of the king Hyperion went to the Persians and introduced himself as Ephialtes of Trachis. In exchange for a reward, he showed the Persians a way to outflank them. After the defeat and death of King Leonidas, Hyperion disappeared while the real Ephialtes received the blame for the Treachery.

A tall, gaunt, imposing figure clad in biking leathers, Resolution makes an immediate impression wherever he goes (outside of biker bars, of course). Sharp, distinctive features framed over a boyish face, coupled with silver-white hair, golden eyes and a grab-bag of genetic traits such as dark skin and epicanthal folds make Resolution's heritage a mystery. Not to say that the young man isn't attractive; quite the contrary, given the nigh-inhumanly perfect proportions of his face, frame and muscle-structure. He is a work of art, the likes of which can only be framed by the hand of another, and as if his unnervingly perfect looks weren't enough, the aura given off by the man, and the constant, vacant stare in his eyes give off the distinct impression that there is something wrong with him...
Personality
The very personification of a cold and calculating machine, Resolution displays little to no emotion, unmoved to any great extent by any external stimuli. Given the extensive knowledge granted to him by the Inferno, he still fully understands human emotion and is more than capable of displaying them at the appropriate times -- it seems he merely possesses little to no desire to do so, preferring to remain a silent observer in most situations. All the same, Resolution will speak when spoken to, engaging willingly in conversation whenever offered the opportunity, speaking enthusiastically and at length at most any topic offered. When he does choose to engage others of his own accord, they will often come to prefer that he remain silent -- he is blunt and tactless, as he openly speaks his mind on any number of topics regardless of audience or propriety, though this seems to be from personal preference rather than any sort of ignorance of proper etiquette. While viewing the world through the eyes of a child as his lack of social graces would suggest, Resolution is in fact quite intelligent, constantly and quickly learning at an accelerated rate as he observes more of the living world. While his lack of social graces would suggest otherwise, Resolution is in fact quite intelligent, well-versed in the understanding of human nature, technology, and magic, not to mention an incredibly quick learner capable of accumulating knowledge at at an incredible pace. Cocky, even arrogant in regards to his own standing and abilities, Resolution is incredibly slow to anger, choosing to respond to insults with razor sharp wit and biting sarcasm, though once he has been incited he will pursue and destroy with the rage of a beast.

Engine of the Ninth Gate - Resolution is a composite lifeform, once a man existing as a digitized portion of Hell itself, given physical form by the Ninth Gate program. As such, every facet of Random's body is but a facsimile rendered by the program, warping brimstone and fire and crafting them into a mortal shell of flesh and blood to wrap around the powerful gateway inside of him. As a result every fiber of his being has been infused with incredible power, granting him strength, speed, endurance, and resilience well beyond what his appearance would suggest, in addition to various supernatural abilities and of course, the very power of Hell itself. His normal outward appearance reflects his body's natural 'Sleeper' state, similar to the 'off' switch of a computer -- while his power reserves are no smaller, he is simply storing them for future use, to access them at a later point once he opens the Gateway inside him. Once this Gateway is opened, its power flows outward unbidden, transforming Resolution from his Sleeper state into the powerful and terrifying Engine. His mortal shell gives way to energy, as his flesh is converted into an infernal electricity by the combined energies of the Gateway and the Ninth Gate. Appearing as an electrified skeleton, access to the Gateway further bolsters Resolution's abilities and size while granting him access to even more powerful techniques and skills than he is normally capable of.
Gateway - The core of Resolution's existence, the Gateway is a breach in reality, bridging the gap between the living world and the realms of Hell. Formed and maintained by the Ninth Gate program, the Gateway is itself a weapon of incredible power, capable of serving as a power source, a method of transportation or, in Resolution's case, as the core for a living, man-made arcane weapon. It is through the Gateway that Resolution summons and channels all of his power and abilities. Of course, as an infernal creations, he's none too fond of holy magics.
Now within the confines of the tavern he finds himself cut off from the Ninth Gate for the first time, and yet somehow still alive. For the first time in his life... Resolution is unsure of what comes next.
Abilities
Hellectricity - While possessing many arcane talents, the hellish electricity that constantly surrounds Resolution in his Engine form serves as his primary offensive and defensive tool. Often taking the form of silver-blue bolts of lightning, this energy is in fact not actual electricity, but rather a by-product of the natural interaction between the energies of the Gateway and the material world, more related to actual flame than lightning. Massive amounts of raw data presenting itself in this world as pure energy, Resolution can freely wield the 'Hellectricity' his body radiates as will in a variety of forms, capable of crafting it into other forms of energy for the purpose of creating spells and barriers. This energy can even into other states of matter, a talent he uses to replace his damaged clothing, create and/or convert weapons or equipment, or even to repair himself, if given enough time and materials with which to do so. Given the nature of the Hellectricity and its composition, it cannot be readily absorbed by magics and persons attuned to lightning-based attacks, though it still manages to protect Resolution from similar energy-based attacks when activated.
Hellfire - An infernal flame capable of burning the sin and wickedness from most anyone or anything it engulfs, these flames burn within Resolution at all times, having replaced what few bodily fluids still flowing within his body after the Gateway consumed him. Often when enraged, Resolution's Engine form will radiate flame instead of lightning, though he is capable of switching between forms at will, and using either hellfire or his hell-lightning freely regardless of his outward appearance. Hellfire consumes all flames directed at it, serving as a perfect defense against fire and heat-based damage, and like the Hellectricity it cannot be readily absorbed or deflected by all fire-attuned defenses.
Sin - The suffering alone in any part of hell is meant to be enough to drive even the most wicked souls who dwell there insane. Meanwhile, Resolution possesses the most excruciatingly intimate knowledge of hell -- all nine circles and every single, man, woman, child, and every single petty slight, act of treachery, or horrific crime they had committed; every demon, and monster and torture device dwelling within; all the thirteen deadly sins and the corresponding punishments for each. There is not a single corner of hell unknown to Resolution, not a single form of magic within its boundaries that he has not mastered, no infernal spell or curse he is incapable of casting. While he prefers to utilize brute force over the many magical tools at his disposal, he is not above falling back on spellcasting when necessary.
As he is currently cut off from the Gateway, Resolution is currently unable to access his spellcasting abilities.
Corruption - Existing as the fusion of a man and the physical manifestation of a cursed computer program, Resolution is a hacker and technopath of the highest order. As soon as he places his hand upon a keyboard, or even upon the monitor of a machine he is able to gain complete access to most any information the unit contains; unprotected or lightly-protected systems are accessed almost immediately, as are most forms of high-tech weaponry and communications. High-level encryption may keep him out for a time, but eventually he will most always find his way in. Given even further time and access, Resolution can corrupt machines to respond to his commands without physically connecting with them, and convert weapons to his own damned uses. Given enough time with a terminal, he is actually able to transform computers into miniature Gates, allowing him to connect to another terminal and transport himself across datalines instantaneously to another location.
Continuance - Fused with a nigh-indestructible gate into the underworld, Resolution is now himself likewise incredibly durable, capable of withstanding vast amounts of punishment well beyond what his mortal appearances would lead one to believe. While his body is indeed composed of flesh and blood, his existence is tied to the Gateway, rather than to the continued function of his organs; as such he has continued to function through massive internal injuries and lost limbs, and even decapitation, making him incredibly difficult to destroy completely. Significant damage to his physical body will still slow him down: most would find it incredibly difficult to battle effectively without a head or limbs. Unless his body is completely destroyed, Resolution can likely regenerate if given sufficient time to utilize the required energy. However, even if his body were to be completely destroyed, it might be possible for Resolution to be regenerated using the Ninth Gate itself, the very computer that was used to create him, and even is now constantly backing up and storing data on his life, unbeknownst to him… [Note: For combat purposes this will usually constitute a loss, as, unless noted in the thread, Resolution will usually have no immediate way back to the battlefield with which to resume combat, and there’s a chance the Resolution who returns will have no knowledge of the battle]
Conversion - Resolution is able to utilize his Hellectricity to completely override and convert weapons, equipment, and vehicles to serve his purposes, often greatly enhancing the capabilities of the converted/corrupted item. Resolution often uses this technique to convert appropriated firearms for his own use, utilizing the Gateway's connections to boost accuracy, range, and rate of fire while simultaneously converting the weapon to utilize his own Hellectricity for ammunition. Resolution's own vehicle of choice, the Hard Drive, was created via conversion, converting a regular motorcycle into a powerful, semi-sentient vehicle.
Creation - Resolution can also create his own weapons when none are available, utilizing the Gateway to fashion simple, if powerful weapons for his own usage, most often taking the form of blades, wires or chains, given his preferred methods of combat. Weapons created from his Gateway or Hellectricity are often incredibly durable, just as their creator, but they are hardly indestructible.
Conveyance - As a living computer program, possessed of a powerful energy source known as a 'Gateway', Resolution is, as one might expect, capable of rapidly crossing across vast distances almost instantaneously in a method similar to teleportation. By converting himself to the same pure energy 'data' constantly radiating from the Gateway, Resolution can literally transmit himself from one location to another. Resolution still traverses the actual distances he crosses utilizing this technique, however, and as such this technique is far from instant, and his movement can be blocked or limited. He can also use this technique in conjunction with his technopathy to turn other computers into Gateways through which to transport himself, allowing him to literally transmit himself into other computer systems in an attempt to overtake them, or to allow himself to be transmitted across computer networks from location to the next.
Skills
Pure Violence - The knowledge of Hell is vast, as was the depth of the programming used to create the Ninth Gate, and by extension, Resolution himself. Millenia upon millenia of violence, torture, suffering, pain, war have given Resolution, an extensive knowledge of the worst facets of mortal life, allowing him to create a simple yet powerful fighting style. On the surface a brutish and simplistic brawling technique, Resolution's fighting style is concerned with fastest and the most efficient of assaulting one's enemy and leaving them cowering in fear, wracked with pain, or torn to pieces.
Equipment
Hellwire: As his weapon of choice Resolution wields a retractable whip fashioned from length of power cable and fitted with a weighted hook, stowed at his hip when not in use. In action, the wire is capable of extending to untold lengths, and its movements can be controlled through Resolution's will alone, making it incredibly dangerous in his hands. Furthermore, Resolution can channel his hell voltage into the weapon in the form of a high-voltage attack, the whip acting much like a gigantic, flexible cattle-prod in usage. Hard Drive: Corrupted and programmed to match its rider, the Hard Drive is a marvel to be hold, a highly technically advanced, infernal machine. With hubless wheels, two-wheel drive, and even a reverse gear, Resolution's ride of choice is capable of maneuverability well beyond the the specifications of any modern bike. Of course, the Hard Drive is leagues faster than any conventional motorcycle (having proven capable of speeds up in excess of several hundred miles per hour) and can even perform such seemingly impossible feats such as riding up sheer vertical surfaces, driving across the surface of water and leaping across great distances in a matter almost resembling flight. Rolling on wheels of infernal lightning and possessed of an innate power all its own, the Hard Drive further heightens Resolution's own abilities, granting him the necessary reflexes, precision and skill to ride it so long as he is in contact with it, while its Hellectricity acts in a manner identical to Resolution's own should he run over any of his quarry or lead them into the electric treadmarks left in his wake. While the Hard Drive is at once a highly-advanced machine possessed of incredible technology, the likes of which even Resolution himself has yet to attain a full understanding of, it derives its power from mystical sources, fueled by the same souls as its rider itself and rendering it immune to most technopathic tampering (and granting it excellent gas mileage). Furthermore, the Hard Drive is semi-sentient, responding to Resolution's mental commands and capable of driving itself to his side at a moment's notice. The Hard Drive also possesses incredible torque, capable of hauling -- at high speed -- loads that one would normally need a semi or two to pull.
M-666 "Compiler" Assault Rifle: Stored in a compartment on the Hard Drive when not in use, the Compiler is a recent upgrade, a high-powered military rifle acquired and baptized in hellfire by Resolution's own hand to suit his needs. Resolution's M-666 possesses limitless ammunition, capable of unleashing upwards of 700 rounds per minute, though the rounds the Compiler unleashes aren't bullets, but bolts of pure hellfire. In Resolution's hands the Compiler can be set to fire either hellfire or hellectricity by way of the pump-action, though in either firing mode the result is the same: total obliteration of any demons or sinners caught within the line of fire. Much like the Hellwire or Resolution's own flames, the Compiler scorches and burns the wicked, though with far more speed and at far greater range than Resolution can usually manage.
Hard Drive 2.0: On rare occasions, Resolution is capable of utilizing his corruption ability to alter the Hard Drive even further, converting the engine (and most of the fuselage) into a combined hyper-vernier and mounted hyperdrive, while the fuselage closes around the seat and handlebars to create a near skin-tight cockpit, allowing the bike and its rider to achieve speeds beyond atmospheric escape velocity. At this point, the already wickedly fast machine becomes a crotch rocket capable of interstellar travel. At present, Resolution is unable to access the higher-powered Hard Drive 2.0 upgrade. At present, he assumes that the disruption of his connection to the gateway has also prevented him from accessing the Hard Drive's interstellar flight modes.

Just another two days and they'd have been gone. She'd pushed him for months, telling him that she wanted to leave the city, to head out to the country, buy a horse, settle down, have kids, but he'd always pushed back because he'd loved the city. He'd always been one for the rush, for the urban jungle, and for as long as he had fought her to stay there, in a single flash, that city took everything from him. They'd been on their way to pick up the moving van, along with a trailer for his bike, the one she couldn't stand, that she'd always have told him to trade in because it was unsafe. Maybe if he'd listened to her before and gotten a car, they would've been better protected when the first of the bombs hit. Instead, shockwave from the blast slammed into the side of his bike, into their bodies, carrying them into the air, throwing them through the intersection, along with all of the other vehicles around. It was all a blur after that, drifting in and out of consciousness, catching bits and pieces of words, flashes of images. Severe trauma to internal organs. Massive internal hemorrhaging. The glare of a flashlight in his eyes. Shattered spine, punctured lungs, ruptured aorta. The inside of an ambulance, EMTs hovering over him. ID reads Carol Holtz. Chances of survival slim to none. The more he began to read across the surface of the Gate, and through its related texts, the more he discovered. The language of the Gate was little more than simple math, computer math. It seemed he could funnel his talent in the right direction after all to achieve his goals. Gathering the resources, checking his facts against what experts he could find, he finally set to work creating a program that could bring back what was lost. It would be another six years before he completed it, but at last, it was finished -- the Ninth Gate, the computer program that would bridge the gap between the worlds.
The user interface was basic at best, but he had built it for the use of none but himself -- aesthetics had no place in this project -- and as such utility was key. As the program booted up, his computer fell into static. Disheartening at first, but at the edges of the lowest audible frequencies he began to hear voices, slowly chanting, growing ever louder. The static took on a shape, first a circle, then a deepening spiral, reaching further and further into the screen and taking on an apparent, impossible depth. The power went out, the whispers grew louder, the voices angry, inhuman, raging in a tongue at once foreign and utterly offensive to the ear. What was once a whisper was now a roar, the sound quaking in his very soul as the static bled from the screen, painting his desk, the floor, the walls, the ceiling until but a few scant square feet of untainted space remained around him, quickly shrinking. As the static snow crept upon him, swallowing him whole as it ignited in every nerve in his body with an electrifying agony beyond anything in this world or the next the code flowed before his eyes, revealing just what he had unlocked, what he had opened: the Ninth Gate was indeed a crossing over point for souls, but only the damned.

Next to him lay the ruins of his computer, the screen still on, displaying static despite the fact that the power cord had long since burned away. Kneeling among the burnt debris, he placed his fingers to it the monitor, testing to see if the gate still existed and immediately recoiling as a final packet of information was immediately downloaded from the cursed monitor and into his mind before the screen went dead forever. In that moment he knew: in his haste he had sought only to open the portal for himself, and as such had not completed the interface that would allow him to properly use it. Peter had perverted the gate and its purpose, and as the program had crashed spectacularly the gate had claimed him as a part of itself. He was now a gateway for the damned, himself... and much like the Gate itself, it had become his duty to send them on their way, to feed upon the souls of the wicked and the living damned... He would never see his wife again, even in death he was now consigned to the flames; if he denied his new charge, if he ever stopped feeding the souls of the damned into the gateway inside of him, the Ninth Gate would turn on the only sustenance available, his own soul, devouring it and and consigning him to hell forever.
However, by the same token, the endless knowledge of the that abyss had flowed into his mind, granting him the knowledge and the power he would need to take his revenge at last, revenge against those who had charged the engines of war, brought the bombs down upon his city, his life, and ruined him forever. Peter began to experiment, testing the limits and functions of the Ninth Gate program, as well as his ability to properly wield it. In the end, he managed to create a perfect prototype: he had drawn Hell itself through the gate, folding the Gateway around it to trap a portion inside a humanoid shell, casting his new creations in His image, one most fitting with which to deliver unholy destruction upon those who had destroyed his life.
Peter was surprised by his creation, its demeanor, its curiosity, but at the same time... the results were not as far-fetched as he initially believed -- in spite of the nature of its construction the creature was not evil, but Hell itself was not evil, either -- it was merely a location, a place in which the wicked and the evil were trapped. Their suffering was not born of hell itself, but of the demons and the Fallen one who presided over them. Unleashed upon the living world now, Peter’s first creation was but an innocent, free to use his terrible power, his knowledge, however he saw fit. Seeing the man, watching him interact with his new world brought about an epiphany in Peter -- to force another sentient being into his service, to force another to wage war on his behalf would truly make him no better than those who brought war to him.
Instead dubbing him Resolution, Peter set the man free and continued his work, instead crafting willing servants, robots to serve his will, to do his work. Drones had no need for free will, after all...
Resolution, meanwhile, had begun his own search, scouring the world, and then later, the stars in a search for purpose. He knew what he was, and for what he was built: Resolution punished and destroyed all the wicked souls he came across, as he was meant to do, but at the same time, the knowledge he contained left him wanting for more. There was more to his existence than his programming. There was more to him than his programming.

A tall, gaunt, imposing figure clad in biking leathers, Resolution makes an immediate impression wherever he goes (outside of biker bars, of course). Sharp, distinctive features framed over a boyish face, coupled with silver-white hair, golden eyes and a grab-bag of genetic traits such as dark skin and epicanthal folds make Resolution's heritage a mystery. Not to say that the young man isn't attractive; quite the contrary, given the nigh-inhumanly perfect proportions of his face, frame and muscle-structure. He is a work of art, the likes of which can only be framed by the hand of another, and as if his unnervingly perfect looks weren't enough, the aura given off by the man, and the constant, vacant stare in his eyes give off the distinct impression that there is something wrong with him...
Personality
The very personification of a cold and calculating machine, Resolution displays little to no emotion, unmoved to any great extent by any external stimuli. Given the extensive knowledge granted to him by the Inferno, he still fully understands human emotion and is more than capable of displaying them at the appropriate times -- it seems he merely possesses little to no desire to do so, preferring to remain a silent observer in most situations. All the same, Resolution will speak when spoken to, engaging willingly in conversation whenever offered the opportunity, speaking enthusiastically and at length at most any topic offered. When he does choose to engage others of his own accord, they will often come to prefer that he remain silent -- he is blunt and tactless, as he openly speaks his mind on any number of topics regardless of audience or propriety, though this seems to be from personal preference rather than any sort of ignorance of proper etiquette. While viewing the world through the eyes of a child as his lack of social graces would suggest, Resolution is in fact quite intelligent, constantly and quickly learning at an accelerated rate as he observes more of the living world. Engine of the Ninth Gate - Resolution is a composite lifeform, once a man existing as a digitized portion of Hell itself, given physical form by the Ninth Gate program. As such, every facet of Random's body is but a facsimile rendered by the program, warping brimstone and fire and crafting them into a mortal shell of flesh and blood to wrap around the powerful gateway inside of him. As a result every fiber of his being has been infused with incredible power, granting him strength, speed, endurance, and resilience well beyond what his appearance would suggest, in addition to various supernatural abilities and of course, the very power of Hell itself. His normal outward appearance reflects his body's natural 'Sleeper' state, similar to the 'off' switch of a computer -- while his power reserves are no smaller, he is simply storing them for future use, to access them at a later point once he opens the Gateway inside him. Once this Gateway is opened, its power flows outward unbidden, transforming Resolution from his Sleeper state into the powerful and terrifying Engine. His mortal shell gives way to energy, as his flesh is converted into an infernal electricity by the combined energies of the Gateway and the Ninth Gate. Appearing as an electrified skeleton, access to the Gateway further bolsters Resolution's abilities and size while granting him access to even more powerful techniques and skills than he is normally capable of.
Gateway - The core of Resolution's existence, the Gateway is a breach in reality, bridging the gap between the living world and the realms of Hell. Formed and maintained by the Ninth Gate program, the Gateway is itself a weapon of incredible power, capable of serving as a power source, a method of transportation or, in Resolution's case, as the core for a living, man-made arcane weapon. It is through the Gateway that Resolution summons and channels all of his power and abilities. Of course, as an infernal creations, he's none too fond of holy magics.

Abilities
Hellectricity - While possessing many arcane talents, the hellish electricity that constantly surrounds Resolution in his Engine form serves as his primary offensive and defensive tool. Often taking the form of silver-blue bolts of lightning, this energy is in fact not actual electricity, but rather a by-product of the natural interaction between the energies of the Gateway and the material world, more related to actual flame than lightning. Massive amounts of raw data presenting itself in this world as pure energy, Resolution can freely wield the 'Hellectricity' his body radiates as will in a variety of forms, capable of crafting it into other forms of energy for the purpose of creating spells and barriers. This energy can even into other states of matter, a talent he uses to replace his damaged clothing, create and/or convert weapons or equipment, or even to repair himself, if given enough time and materials with which to do so. Given the nature of the Hellectricity and its composition, it cannot be readily absorbed by magics and persons attuned to lightning-based attacks, though it still manages to protect Resolution from similar energy-based attacks when activated.
Hellfire - An infernal flame capable of burning the sin and wickedness from most anyone or anything it engulfs, these flames burn within Resolution at all times, having replaced what few bodily fluids still flowing within his body after the Gateway consumed him. Often when enraged, Resolution's Engine form will radiate flame instead of lightning, though he is capable of switching between forms at will, and using either hellfire or his hell-lightning freely regardless of his outward appearance. Hellfire consumes all flames directed at it, serving as a perfect defense against fire and heat-based damage, and like the Hellectricity it cannot be readily absorbed or deflected by all fire-attuned defenses.
Sin - The suffering alone in any part of hell is meant to be enough to drive even the most wicked souls who dwell there insane. Meanwhile, Resolution possesses the most excruciatingly intimate knowledge of hell -- all nine circles and every single, man, woman, child, and every single petty slight, act of treachery, or horrific crime they had committed; every demon, and monster and torture device dwelling within; all the thirteen deadly sins and the corresponding punishments for each. There is not a single corner of hell unknown to Resolution, not a single form of magic within its boundaries that he has not mastered, no infernal spell or curse he is incapable of casting. While he prefers to utilize brute force over the many magical tools at his disposal, he is not above falling back on spellcasting when necessary.
As he is currently cut off from the Gateway, Resolution is currently unable to access his spellcasting abilities.
Corruption - Existing as the fusion of a man and the physical manifestation of a cursed computer program, Resolution is a hacker and technopath of the highest order. As soon as he places his hand upon a keyboard, or even upon the monitor of a machine he is able to gain complete access to most any information the unit contains; unprotected or lightly-protected systems are accessed almost immediately, as are most forms of high-tech weaponry and communications. High-level encryption may keep him out for a time, but eventually he will most always find his way in. Given even further time and access, Resolution can corrupt machines to respond to his commands without physically connecting with them, and convert weapons to his own damned uses. Given enough time with a terminal, he is actually able to transform computers into miniature Gates, allowing him to connect to another terminal and transport himself across datalines instantaneously to another location.
Continuance - Fused with a nigh-indestructible gate into the underworld, Resolution is now himself likewise incredibly durable, capable of withstanding vast amounts of punishment well beyond what his mortal appearances would lead one to believe. While his body is indeed composed of flesh and blood, his existence is tied to the Gateway, rather than to the continued function of his organs; as such he has continued to function through massive internal injuries and lost limbs, and even decapitation, making him incredibly difficult to destroy completely. Significant damage to his physical body will still slow him down: most would find it incredibly difficult to battle effectively without a head or limbs. Unless his body is completely destroyed, Resolution can likely regenerate if given sufficient time to utilize the required energy. However, even if his body were to be completely destroyed, it might be possible for Resolution to be regenerated using the Ninth Gate itself, the very computer that was used to create him, and even is now constantly backing up and storing data on his life, unbeknownst to him… [Note: For combat purposes this will usually constitute a loss, as, unless noted in the thread, Resolution will usually have no immediate way back to the battlefield with which to resume combat, and there’s a chance the Resolution who returns will have no knowledge of the battle]
Conversion - Resolution is able to utilize his Hellectricity to completely override and convert weapons, equipment, and vehicles to serve his purposes, often greatly enhancing the capabilities of the converted/corrupted item. Resolution often uses this technique to convert appropriated firearms for his own use, utilizing the Gateway's connections to boost accuracy, range, and rate of fire while simultaneously converting the weapon to utilize his own Hellectricity for ammunition. Resolution's own vehicle of choice, the Hard Drive, was created via conversion, converting a regular motorcycle into a powerful, semi-sentient vehicle.
Creation - Resolution can also create his own weapons when none are available, utilizing the Gateway to fashion simple, if powerful weapons for his own usage, most often taking the form of blades, wires or chains, given his preferred methods of combat. Weapons created from his Gateway or Hellectricity are often incredibly durable, just as their creator, but they are hardly indestructible.
Conveyance - As a living computer program, possessed of a powerful energy source known as a 'Gateway', Resolution is, as one might expect, capable of rapidly crossing across vast distances almost instantaneously in a method similar to teleportation. By converting himself to the same pure energy 'data' constantly radiating from the Gateway, Resolution can literally transmit himself from one location to another. Resolution still traverses the actual distances he crosses utilizing this technique, however, and as such this technique is far from instant, and his movement can be blocked or limited. Pure Violence - The knowledge of Hell is vast, as was the depth of the programming used to create the Ninth Gate, and by extension, Resolution himself. Millenia upon millenia of violence, torture, suffering, pain, war have given Resolution, an extensive knowledge of the worst facets of mortal life, allowing him to create a simple yet powerful fighting style. On the surface a brutish and simplistic brawling technique, Resolution's fighting style is concerned with fastest and the most efficient of assaulting one's enemy and leaving them cowering in fear, wracked with pain, or torn to pieces.

His survivor's guilt had blossomed into depression, into obsession over the years as Pete turned what was left of his money towards a search for a way to cross the threshold between life and death, a way to meet her again. The occult offered many answers, but in all his research, one phrase, one place was mentioned over and over again as the crossing point for lost souls -- the Ninth Gate into the underworld. Unfortunately, he possessed no talent for magic, no patience for ritual... Senior Systems analyst... he'd spent his years before a screen, mastering programming languages, installing hardware, software, creating interfaces, but surely that could not help him now. He fell into despair again, sinking further into depression, until one night, with his notes laid before him, a gigantic printout of a diagram of the gate spread across the floor in his living room, he came to an epiphany: In the etchings along the face of the gate, in the ancient magics and rituals that surrounded its existence he found a single line that could be converted to simple binary.
The more he began to read across the surface of the Gate, and through its related texts, the more he discovered. The language of the Gate was little more than simple math, computer math. It seemed he could funnel his talent in the right direction after all to achieve his goals. Gathering the resources, checking his facts against what experts he could find, he finally set to work creating a program that could bring back what was lost. It would be another six years before he completed it, but at last, it was finished -- the Ninth Gate, the computer program that would bridge the gap between the worlds.
The user interface was basic at best, but he had built it for the use of none but himself -- aesthetics had no place in this project -- and as such utility was key. As the program booted up, his computer fell into static. Disheartening at first, but at the edges of the lowest audible frequencies he began to hear voices, slowly chanting, growing ever louder. The static took on a shape, first a circle, then a deepening spiral, reaching further and further into the screen and taking on an apparent, impossible depth. The power went out, the whispers grew louder, the voices angry, inhuman, raging in a tongue at once foreign and utterly offensive to the ear. What was once a whisper was now a roar, the sound quaking in his very soul as the static bled from the screen, painting his desk, the floor, the walls, the ceiling until but a few scant square feet of untainted space remained around him, quickly shrinking. As the static snow crept upon him, swallowing him whole as it ignited in every nerve in his body with an electrifying agony beyond anything in this world or the next the code flowed before his eyes, revealing just what he had unlocked, what he had opened: the Ninth Gate was indeed a crossing over point for souls, but only the damned.

Kneeling among the burnt debris, he placed his fingers to it the monitor, testing to see if the gate still existed and immediately recoiling as a final packet of information was immediately downloaded from the cursed monitor and into his mind before the screen went dead forever. In that moment he knew: in his haste he had sought only to open the portal for himself, and as such had not completed the interface that would allow him to properly use it. Peter had perverted the gate and its purpose, and as the program had crashed spectacularly the gate had claimed him as a part of itself. He was now a gateway for the damned, himself... and much like the Gate itself, it had become his duty to send them on their way, to feed upon the souls of the wicked and the living damned... He would never see his wife again, even in death he was now consigned to the flames; if he denied his new charge, if he ever stopped feeding the souls of the damned into the gateway inside of him, the Ninth Gate would turn on the only sustenance available, his own soul, devouring it and and consigning him to hell forever.
However, by the same token, the endless knowledge of the that abyss had flowed into his mind, granting him the knowledge and the power he would need to take his revenge at last, revenge against those who had charged the engines of war, brought the bombs down upon his city, his life, and ruined him forever. Peter began to experiment, testing the limits and functions of the Ninth Gate program, as well as his ability to properly wield it. In the end, he managed to create a perfect prototype: he had drawn Hell itself through the gate, folding the Gateway around it to trap a portion inside a humanoid shell, casting his new creations in His image, one most fitting with which to deliver unholy destruction upon those who had destroyed his life.
Peter was surprised by his creation, its demeanor, its curiosity, but at the same time... the results were not as far-fetched as he initially believed -- in spite of the nature of its construction the creature was not evil, but Hell itself was not evil, either -- it was merely a location, a place in which the wicked and the evil were trapped. Their suffering was not born of hell itself, but of the demons and the Fallen one who presided over them. Unleashed upon the living world now, Peter’s first creation was but an innocent, free to use his terrible power, his knowledge, however he saw fit. Seeing the man, watching him interact with his new world brought about an epiphany in Peter -- to force another sentient being into his service, to force another to wage war on his behalf would truly make him no better than those who brought war to him.
Instead dubbing him Resolution, Peter set the man free and continued his work, instead crafting willing servants, robots to serve his will, to do his work. Drones had no need for free will, after all...
Resolution, meanwhile, had begun his own search, scouring the world, and then later, the stars in a search for purpose. He knew what he was, and for what he was built: Resolution punished and destroyed all the wicked souls he came across, as he was meant to do, but at the same time, the knowledge he contained left him wanting for more. There was more to his existence than his programming. There was more to him than his programming.
