Below is the code I used (code brackets are replaced by parentheses):

(hider=youwotm9)(hider2=asdf) ((((insert trap card here)))) (/hider2)(/hider)

I believe this can allow some of our roleplayers to make less page-extending Character Sheets (lol), though I'm mainly interested in using this hider system for other things.

They must have added that back recently. It didn't used to work.

Actually, the trick is behind "hider2". Literally everyone forgot that you shouldn't use hiders without numbering them because the forums is currently using a QQCode post system. While it's limited up to two hiders, the second hider code was severely overlooked by a huge majority of roleplayers.
