Naoto Shiratori

A wretched scent ripped Naoto from her sleep, and sent her coughing into the bathroom. She promptly threw up into the toilet, her body racked with convulsions. After ten minutes of leaning over a toilet, she finally felt it safe to stand up. She made her way to the shower to wash the smell from her body, before heading to the kitchen to make ramen. She had trouble there because that was where the smell was the worst. After finishing her ramen, although she was barely able to keep it down, she quickly dressed herself in her normal Genin attire, making sure she grabbed her sword, before she started heading to Kirigakure gates. She put off fixing the source of the stench until after the mission, and slowly started jogging towards the gates.

Upon arriving at the gates, she saw that the others were already there, and waved to them in elation. Naoto was definitely excited for the mission today, although she knew it wouldn't be a very high rank mission. Despite it's low rank, she was sure that it would help the village in some way, and that was definitely her goal. She was soon next to the others, and quickly asked, "Am I late?" She hadn't checked the clock when she left, so she wasn't sure if she was early or not.

Tora Hatake

Watching as all her students gathered one after the other, with Naoto being the last to arrive, Tora made a small nod towards each of them as they arrived "You are not late Naoto. You arrived here right on time. Unfortunatly, it seems the person who was supposed to accompany us is late, so she will need to catch up with us later. Fortunatly, she knows the location of the mission." She said and motioned to her students to start following her as she begun walking outside of the village gates and into the open area beyond it. She walked with a fast pace, but one which allowed her students to keep up with her.

"I'll explain the mission to you before we move faster. I gave all three of you a fake scenario where you needed to tell me how you will set the three of you up in capturing, interrogating and disposing of a man. Well, that is a major part of the mission, but instead of doing it on your own, I will aid with the capturing and disposing, and once she catches up to us, the other person who will join us is going to help interrogating. This is so we will be able to test your skills and help improve them some more, while also making sure that everything is done properly. The person we need to capture has 4 guards with him, so Kumoga, I will go over a proper plan with you after we've set up an interrogation point. Takeshi and Naoto, after the other person arrives, you will be under her watch and will do as she says. She is a very skilled woman so you do not need to worry, but I do believe there is a chance of the man sending hired missing-nin to watch the area around him. You will need to watch each other and make sure that if anything happens, you manage to stay alive."

After finishing her explanation, she begun running forward, indicating her students needed to do as well. Tora did not want to waste a single moment and give the man a chance to escape from the area that he was located at last. She already figured that he might not be exactly where he was last spotted at, but due to knowing his guards are mere kenjutsu users and not proper shinobi, that he couldn't have gotten too far. Her main concern was the possibility of the hired missing-nins. She had no idea if that was true or not, because according to intel he had done so in the past, but there was also intel he was in a financial mess right now, meaning he won't have the money to hire anyone beyond the regular guards. She hoped for the best scenario as she glanced backwards, intending to make sure her studnets managed to keep up with her.

The Yonbi/Four Tails.
Attacking the gathering of those inferior monkeys!

Grunting, the beast was pushed back. A little bit. The strong water dragon technique of Ryoku had landed a hit, but the resilient beast wouldn't be just stopped like that the. The tidal wave that had been created by a mere roar was just the tip of the iceberg of what the behemoth could do! And he would make sure those inferior monkeys would get it that they weren't any match for him. With only his left hand and arm, the beast swept the dragon away. While he had fended off the attack, the beast had focused another blub of chakra inside his mouth. [i]Take this, damn monkeys!

Spitting out a huge wave of lava in front of him, the water of the lake would create a huge and warm steam cloud that would quickly be formed. The last that could be seen from the beast's head was that there was a wicked smirk on his lips. Next to the killing intent that started to skyrocket. While some of his previous had managed to escape Ryoku's counter and started some panic, the incoming wave of killing intent would shock most people. It wasn't just a jounin leveled killing intent, but something that seem to suffocate people, slowly tearing apart their will to fight and cause some of the people to flee. Those monkeys, thinking some fast deployed defence would work against him. Like this lake, it wasn't in his disadvantage. No, the all knowing master of apes would show these humans a lesson. One they would long remember. If they would survive, that is!

Hiron Hon
Konohagakure Jounin | Team 9

Hiron noticed that Masami got it that they had only a limit amount of time. Shoving his hands into the pockets of his pants, Hiron already turned around. He would come back over some time to check if they had managed to get some success. Else he would have something else in mind for them to do. It would be problematic if Team 9 couldn't head out on any missions due the teamwork not being high enough. It was the vital part that kept a team functioning. Without it, it would be a loose and chaotic gathering of some inexperienced ninja running around. A simple target for a team that did know how to co-operate together.

Walking away, Hiron decided to grab a drink nearby. Maybe some riceballs? That seemed like a plan. On his way, he cast a glance towards the Hokage Monument. While he kept on walking, Hiron thought about the future. Some things seemed so certain, but a few of them scared him a bit. Not that he was worried about himself, but more or less others. Some questions started to trouble him a bit, but he could already hear (and feel somewhat) Keiko starting an argument. Probably that he was pondering too much about the future, worrying himself sick, while it was the present he would need to focus on. Entering a place, Hiron thought amused about the present. Though he would discipline his team for any mistake, he couldn't help it. It was good to see the three of his students starting to show some progress at teamwork, realizing that they would have to be serious about it. Nearing the counter, Hiron was asked what he wanted to order. He thought, about the present. ''I want twelve riceballs. To take away.'' A smile came on his face. Maybe thinking a little bit ahead won't hurt this time?

Ryo Katsu
Ghost ANBU member

On the way...

The slim and rather pale looking young man walked towards the headquarters of the Intelligence Division. He was dressed as a regular shinobi of the Leaf, but there was something off. Like something was missing. Heading into the building, the man politely asked where he was needed to go as he had an appointment. Being told that he had to go to the right, the man smiled and thanked the one who had shown the directions. I wonder how the others are doing. Ryo thought to himself as he kept the Transformation technique active. He didn't feel that this was going to please him. Kensuke, what would he do? Shrug and continue? Would he mourn him? What would he do? Ryo felt a bit lost that he couldn't anticipate what Kensuke would do. Meant that something? Did he really knew his friend as he claimed he did? Had the troubles, adventures, missions and training been for nothing? Just a way to pass time?

Ryo clenched his fists as he gritted his teeth. No. He had learned better. He would endure this. Walking to the end of this and then he would make sure that somehow, in a way possible, that Kensuke would be happy. Even...

Even if he couldn't be there.

However, there was something else that troubled him. Another person that kept troubling him at the back of his mind. One that caused him almost to cry when he really thought about what kind of damage would be created.
It was so annoying. The animal managed to get in Kumogakure, but it was a whole way up north. Finally, he had managed to get there. The place he had brought the messages before. Not sure what his master was up to, the racoon looked a bit disappointed. He didn't like the Cloud. Why would his master have somebody important here? To the racoon it made no sense. Less when he had to bring the messages, but this would be the last one. He had promised it. Master never broke his promises. The racoon held the folded paper close to him as he sneaked through the alleys. Not that he was afraid that he would get in trouble. Maybe a cat that was bold enough to try to catch him? The last one who did had got a stomp to the face. Master would be disappointed if he wouldn't be able to defend himself.

Arriving at the front door of the address, the racoon laid down the paper. Then the creature tried to shove it underneath the door. After he was sure it was done, the animal ran away. His task was done.

Behind the letter was some odd marking. A summoning marking.

Mika Hayashi
Kirigakure Jounin, team 14.

Mika stared at Haruhi for a second. A very brief second. Turning around, she gestured that Haruhi should follow her. ''An important mission. We're needed to group at the docks. By now the others would likely get a message as well.'' Mika answered, walking with a steady pace away. She could still feel some of the wounds aching with pain and in a normal situation, she would scold herself for going on a mission like this. It wasn't the condition to go on an operation that she was assigned on. But not going and letting Haruhi face that terror alone? The terror she knew that was planned? No. Mika hadn't die yet and thus was forced to continue to do what she could do. Not any longer to repay for her sins in the past, she would try to atone for it with her life now.

Not that she deemed that much that Mika thought it would absolve her past crimes just because she took care of somebody now. That was both arrogant and ignorant. It would wash away the crimes and horrible things she had committed. Even while she had been ordered to do so, she was the one who had often wielded the weapon that killed a person. That had sliced a throat. Gritting her teeth, Mika wondered if she was really going soft. Laughable. Going soft was the last thing she would do. However, the mere thought of Haruhi being in danger..

''I want that you won't spill a single word about last night. To nobody. Even if the Mizukage orders it you... Just say you know nothing. We will talk later about it. After the mission. I promise.'' Mika said, with a firm voice, still walking towards the docks. For a moment she was glad that they were in Kirigakure. The light mist that was present this early? It was a blessing. The longer she would have to see the escort and whole group that would be there for the mission, the better in Mika's opinion.

Shinichi Kyousuke - "Getting the Team Together"

It seemed that Niji understood the seriousness of this news as she just stood and nodded, perhaps she didn’t want to interrupt and miss any information or perhaps she just didn’t know what to say at that moment. Shinichi grinned rather noticeably as Niji obviously asked sarcastically as to what should never get out. ”Just so you know, this also includes Kamiria. I’ll tell her when the time seems right but right now I just don’t think it’s a good time” and with that the duo continued walking towards town.

“Did I say new team member? I guess I might have misspoken but it looks like you already knew who I meant. Yes, Kamiria is being transferred back to our team. I know it’s been a long time since the team has been together but I think that we can bounce back and become even stronger than we’ve ever been.” Once again the jounin looked over to the chunin as he spoke. Instead of prolonging the discussion he thought it’d be best to not keep their old teammate waiting. ”Race you!” he assumed that she knew where Kamiria lived so the race

Already, Shinichi was feeling better, as if this whole ordeal never happened. Maybe it was the fact that Niji and Kamiria just brightened him up, they made this whole lie feel like a reality, perhaps Niji was really on to something, maybe his lie was irrelevant, maybe this is his new reality.

“Come on Kiddo! I thought chunin were supposed to be as fast as lightning!” he shouted, already a few seconds ahead of her. He did a back flip as he shouted then and then continued to race downhill. ”I’m sure Kamiria is missing you anyway! You’re gonna make her wait even longer!?” he looked back for a brief second to shout towards the chunin although as he did this his feet his a patch of loose dirt causing him to slide for a few seconds, leaving Niji the perfect opportunity to catch up or even pass him.

Michio got up from bed with a huge stretch followed by a yawn. He lazily got out of bed, got dressed, and went into the kitchen to start making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, his mother told him it was very nontraditional but he loved them anyway. A note on the table said that both his mom and his dad were busy until around dinner time. It was weird that his dad wasn't home since he didn't really have a job be he was probably just running around town helping people and stuff like he sometimes did. He ate his sandwich and considered what to do with his day. It wasn't often he was given a free day from the academy but he didn't really want to waste more time doing nothing.

Michio decided he should probably start training but he wasn't quite sure how to start, his only training had been either run by the academy or his mother. He heard that most initial training exercises started with bells that you had to retrieve, maybe he could find an animal and put a bell on it... but that would eliminate the point of trying to catch it. Michio sighed and took another bite out of his sandwich. He figured he could keep trying to use his Kekki Genkai even though he had never had any success before, but there was a first time for everything he supposed.

He had only really tried it on his own before which probably explained why he didn't get much of anywhere but he decided that he would think it through more thoroughly this time. Michio remembered his mother telling him it was a mix of water and wind chakra natures. Well since he could already use water chakra if he could learn how to use wind chakra as well he could probably figure it out. He remembered from the academy that the hand-signs for wind chakra when doing chakra control training were either Bird or Hare. After a brief quandary on the matter he decided he would try to use Hare since it seemed less advanced and he should probably start slow. He knew how to do chakra control training already with his water chakra so doing it with wind couldn't be that different.

Michio assumed his stance, concentrated, and made the Hare symbol and immediately felt as though he was off-balance. He decided he could just persevere through it and tried to mold his chakra into what he assumed wind would feel like. A short three seconds later he lost a hold on it and a burning sensation spread through his body along with a sense of panic. He quickly thought to himself, okay just calm down if i just focus on water again it will probably fix it, Michio immediately changed his hand-sign back to Horse and concentrated on getting his chakra back under control. The burning sensation slowly faded much to his relief, once he was sure everything was normal again he released his hand-sign and shakily sat down

Michio decided he wouldn't try that again, at least not without an adult who knew what they were doing. He went into the kitchen to get another peanut butter and jelly sandwich and decided that he wouldn't do any training the rest of the day after all.

Kumogatarui Dobustu - The scenario is the mission?

Naoto was the last to arrive, although thankfully she wasn't late, even if she seemed a bit pale... Maybe she wasn't feeling well? But that would be bad if they were going on a mission, it could put everything on it's head and they wouldn't be able to do anything about it if they were out of contact with one another.

She would have to worry about that later, the mission was going to begin soon regardless of the other person who was actually late, supposedly. Regardless of that they were going to be going now, and Hatake-sensei was going to be explaining the mission, the fact that it was the scenario she had given them already during their personal sessions caused Kumoga to perk a brow in interest. She'd made use of their own opinions on one another to form the line up for this exact scenario... She should've expected something like that, Hatake-Sensei was a smart woman and Kumoga liked to think that was the main reason she'd become a Jounin, although judging by their conversation, she had more than just that which granted her jounin status.

As they sped up, Kumoga moved to keep pace with Naoto. "Shiratori-san, you seem quite pale... Are you feeling well?" She mostly wanted to make sure everyone was in fit fighting condition, even /if/ they didn't have to fight specifically, that was good, right? She changed a glance towards Fujiwara-san as well, trying to make sure he was well also.

Missing-nin were strong, weren't they? If so, would they really be able to manage against them, even as a team? It worried Kumoga that there might be people who would wipe the floor with them, she'd rather not be utterly defeated after only just returning to the life of a kunoichi.
____________________________

Niji Yakei - Team Shinichi, unite!

There was a simple nod of understanding from Niji as Shinichi said not to say a thing about any of this to Kamiria, it felt strange to try and keep such a secret from someone so close, but she'd already agreed to not tell so she couldn't go back now, could she?

Then Shinichi challenged her to a race, and as soon as he even started to mock her she took off to catch up. She'd been around the area near Kamiria's home enough to know the fastest ways in and out of the area, so she already had the upper hand, but she really gained her footing in the race when he slipped on some loose dirt. She took the lack of control as the perfect moment to jump mid-run, plant a foot on the top of her sensei's head and leap ahead whilst trying to push him backwards. "What's wrong, a patch of dirt slowing you down, sensei?" The chuunin called back as she hurtled back into the village, already taking a seemingly random turn, this was the fastest route to Kamiria's from here after all.
-Quick skip in time-

Despite the extra time and the quickness of the route, she arrived at roughly the same time as Shinichi, if not a moment sooner.

Now they'd be able to meet with Kamiria and be a team once more, honestly Niji was excited, even if she visited the near-blind kunoichi many a time during her times of illness.

Shikaroku Nara
Konoha Genin - Team 9

Casting his eyes downwards, Shikaroku was lost deep in thought. This exercise seemed so simple, and yet... Shaking his head, he wondered what kind of tricks and traps Hiron-sensei had set up for them. Feeling the back of his head beginning to tense up, Shikaroku let out a small sigh. Looking back up at his teammates he blushed. "I am afraid that I do not know how to create clones... So I may not be entirely useful in this exercise." Shikaroku felt ashamed of himself, when it really came down to it, he wasn't sure if he would ever be an actual benefit to his team. Both Mia and Masami were highly talented kunoichi, but he was just a sub-par shinobi... He could barely even keep his migraines under control without relying on medication. Trying to shake the doubts from his mind, Shikaroku clenched his fists tightly in frustration.

Thinking for a moment, he had an idea. "Masami-san, I have no doubt that Hiron-sensei has most likely devised a way to stop your Byakugan from easily identifying the correct papers, but I am not entirely certain that he would block the papers themselves from your view. If that is the case then what is the range of your vision? If you can see the pages from a fair distance, at least we should be able to find the pages with relative ease, and from there we can try and find a way past the traps. I believe I have a way of getting us past those, but I would have to see the pages to make sure." Scratching the back of his head briefly, Shikaroku realized that they were still standing there, even though their time was ticking down. "Perhaps we could discuss this more on our way to the training fields?" He suggested, already setting off towards the fields.

Mia Inuzuka - Team 9

Mia watched Masami closely for a minute, it was almost too easy to see the wheels turning in her head as she thought about what Mia had said. She smiled knowing she was right and happy that Masami was happy to work as a team. They both knew that Hiron sensei would not make this easy for them, which mean that they were both on the same wave length which was a good sign.

Mia smiled lightly at Masami "we know what we have to do" she put her hands together and began to create hand seals in rapid succession. "muti shadow clone jutsu!" After creating five shadow clones. Mia smiled at Masami's question "yes there is a possiablity that both me and my Ninken may be able to sniff the tags out but just in case of traps i'll send in the clones first."

The clones head off in different directions, two instantly get caught in a trap and disappear in a puff of smoke, after that the three other clones become more cautious.
One of the clones that was destroyed was hit by a Kunai luncher the other a paper bomb.
Mia's clones were doing this while Shikaroku spoke and she smiled."Thats a clever idea Shikaroku, it might just work but we have to be quick because the longer we just stand a talk the more time we lose"

Naoto Shiratori

When Hatake-Sensei informed her she was not late, a look of relief spread across Naoto's face. The sight of all the other Genin already present had worried her, but luckily her fears were needless. However, somebody who would be assisting in the mission was late, however that wouldn't be an issue. As she began talking about the mission, she started moving faster, which forced them to keep up. At the mention of Missing-Nins, Naoto seemed to brighten up. If Missing-Nins were involved, this might actually be a higher rank mission then she expected. It also was interesting that the hypothetical situation Hatake-Sensei had set up was a lot more then a small part of imagination, but indeed a foreshadowing of the mission they were on.

Hatake-Sensei began speeding up once her explanation was finished, and the others (including Naoto herself) followed suit. Kumoga made the effort to match Naoto's pace to ask her if she was feeling well. Naoto glanced over, and nodded, "I'm feeling okay. Just a bit of morning sickness, it's no big deal." She said evenly, though even the memory of the smell that was ransacking her house was sickening. She held back a small amount of bile that rose in her throat at the thought, and tried to keep her expression blank. Despite this, she still felt ready for the mission ahead, excited to show her skills.
