Well every character has different strengths, you know. Charlotte isn't much good at long range, she's mostly a brawler.

So I don't know how many of you were there for the interest check when I was talking about the possibility of leaving in Apocalypse World's "weird" stat and adding in special powers. One of the special powers was going to be viewing the memories of the dead. If the game lasts long enough, and everyone's open to it, I may add the weird stat back in, and have a list of powers you can use as well.

It's not something I could get into, but if it is implemented I will go with it one way or another

The way I'd do it is, I already intended to give out skill and stat points as the game goes on, so we'd just add "weird" in starting at zero. We'll see, no guarantees.

Just to make things a bit simpler, when looking for loot, I will roll to see how well it's hidden (1-20) and then roll to see if you can spot it (2 rolls of 1-6).

And in VP land, there is a penalty for finding loot.

EDIT: I have noticed that this seems a bit broken. Gisk, permission to change that 20 into a 12, or make some other change to make it a bit fair, or even explain how the loot system works?
And yes, I've already read the first post for the loot system. I was only talking about in terms of ammo.

Uh, just to clarify but it was my intention to have Alex be around Michelle's area, who I assume is still some distance away from Charlotte, Lee, and Jagred. And the opposite direction Charlotte would want to travel if trying to help Jagred. Or she'd have overshot Jagred by quite a bit.

But whatever, that's only my mental map of what's going on and what everyone's positions are.

As for the weird stat sure. I suppose it could just be stuff like being unnaturally hard for the Walkers to notice, or perhaps being stronger the more in the immediate vicinity. Explain it as the dormant virus nonetheless continuing to mutate and side effects as a result.
