Walking with a well practiced silence she navigated the plane, her usual smirk replaced by an implacable gaze. It didn’t take long before she came up against any opposition but the first would be easy, especially as he was alone. She quickly took him down, capturing his arm and hitting him against the wall. He didn’t seem to be dead.
It carried on this way for the next couple of encounters, surprise and numbers working on her side to allow a quick dispatch. However as she got ever so close to her goal she heard voices, a group of them, four perhaps. Taking a moment to ready herself she summoned a couple of large knives in one hand and an orb of some flashy metal in the other. Sheathing the knives on her hip she threw the orb up once and caught it, then took a breath.
Quickly, she stepped round the corner and threw the orb; as soon as it hit the floor a blue smoke came pouring out. She didn’t hesitate as she dropped down and swept the legs out from under the first to come at her and continued the momentum to swing her leg up to kick the weapon from the seconds’ hands. Righting herself she began a struggle with the now unarmed soldier. Before either could get an upper-hand she felt a strong tugging pulling her backwards, and realised one had grabbed her cape. Gritting her teeth she went to grab her knife and then kicked back the soldier she had been fighting before turning to cut her cape short, leaving the man holding it falling backwards. She threw the knife towards his chest and quickly turned, trusting that it hit its mark. Unclipping what remained of her cape she threw it in the face of the one she had been fighting as she struggled to her feet before delivering one swift punch.
Kat turned her attention to the one that remained; knife in hand and blood at the corner of her mouth, she tilted her head and smiled. He was green clearly, as he backed away and quickly ran. Sheathing the knife she walked up to the cockpit door and knocked. She quickly changed her appearance to look more like those she had just taken down, but as soon as the door was opened to her the illusion faded as she grabbed the one who opened the door and threw him backwards behind her, quickly stepping in and slamming the door shut behind her.
She rounded on the one pilot left as he quickly pressed some buttons to confront her. However the moment they stood face-to-face she lifted her hand and flicked the lid off a ring she was wearing and blew the contents in his face. She held her breath and watched, and when he smiled she smiled. Steering him back to the wheel she sat him down, and put her hand on her knee as she crouched beside him. “Magneto needs the plane to go back, back to the Academy. Can you do that? For me?” She asked sweetly, smiling as he complied. “Thank you.” She stood and trailed her fingers up his arm, pausing on his shoulder as she looked back to the door. “And quickly.” She added, as she felt the plane turn.
