Viral probably wouldn’t be able to handle Yumi if she was like Shu, but of course there was always going to be ways to ignore her if she ever got to be as bad as that. He didn’t want all this fun and happiness around him when he was doing anything other than fun and happy things, she could go and do that somewhere else if it mattered to her that much. She was not giving him an easy time just by being like this, but maybe she was going to be able to calm herself once they got out hunting. “Of course I’m going to take it the wrong way if you announce I have a smell about me! It’s damn rude…” Walking straight into the woods wasn’t his plan of going for a good hunt, especially without the right equipment. Who knew what he’d end up doing if one of his other primal instincts took over like last time and he started chasing her around everywhere instead, trying to chew on raw meat and generally being a nuisance to catch again. “Do you know how to make weapons so we don’t have to chase the prey? Or are you just going in blind and hoping for a chase…”

Kai wasn’t too bothered with what he’d do if it meant he was going to be able to get out and going instead of being stuck around while they argued over what they were going to do. He didn’t care if he was going to just travel around so long as he got to have something along the way and in this case some good food. Looking between the pair he soon sighed as Kabocha made a strange suggestion, offering to pay for their food. “You better show the money first before assuming they’re going to take it after you order food”, he sighed, finding the thought to be fairly odd of him. The guy barely offered to do anything like that so it was a plus, at least. “Well, you’re the rich one here! Let’s see if you can flaunt your money in front of these bugs as much as you could do at home…”

Shu giggled as Takeshi ruffled his hair, giving his head a quick shake after he did. “You no need tail all the time! You wouldn’t use tail even if you had it, anyway!” he squeaked, bouncing along as they headed away into the woods. He wanted to jump at his brother for that gesture but should probably refrain from doing that until they were properly playing. With T’charrl following he was pretty happy, but it was still Haku who managed to ruin it for him when the guy was mean and was still trying to hang around with them, ruining their little play session effectively at the same time. “You will swing for longer than last time, right? It’s fun! Bouncing in trees too! It’s fun…yes?”

T’charrl hadn’t felt the energy this strongly before so it was definitely a very interesting to feel it once again, finding it to be all too familiar even though it swam by stronger than ever. He couldn’t explain the feeling, but it was definitely warmth. “I-I can, at least better than I could before”, he spoke, briefly feeling the ground before moving on, “I was a good scout because of this. Nobody could understand…but I did manage to find trouble a lot. It’s all connected and I feel…relaxed”. He definitely felt a lot stronger now that he was back on a planet, but being on his own planet was definitely the biggest plus. He got a bigger boost of energy here than he did elsewhere which was definitely helping him, but what was even better was he believed he was fairly close now to solving his problem. He could do it definitely, he could find that one last push somewhere, but maybe going and playing with his friends might help him even more before he might be spotted by one of his own kind.

Yumi smiled slightly amused at the fact Viral had taken offense to her comment, especially when none had been intended. "I never said it was a bad smell Viral, now did I? Maybe you have a pleasant smell, or just a very normal one." She didn't quite know how to classify Viral's odor, he did have one. Everyone on the ship had a distinct smell to them, she'd found, even when completely clean. By this point it was possible to recognize each of their friends by scent alone, provided she was trying to pay any mind to it. The aromas weren't constantly assaulting her nose or anything like that, she'd only really notice it if she tried picking them up. Figuring it was probably best to get moving before Viral decided not to go Yumi took the initiative and went off to the forests, the Beastman not far behind her. Glancing over her shoulder she pursed her lips in thought at his question, reaching up and scratching at one of her ears. "I know how to make very basic weapons. If we find a sharp rock, a strong branch or stick and some kind of rope I could fashion a spear. Other than that though I guess my plan was to just chase things." Not a very solid plan admittedly, but that's what she thought hunting was for Viral. Well maybe not only that, he had to have some intricate methods considering how much he used to do it. "You're teaching me the basics today, right? So how do you think we should start?"

"Even if it isn't whatever money they use here I doubt they'll turn away coins," Kabocha replied, smirking at Kai as he grabbed the small bag of money in his pocket. Tossing it up a few times in his palm he caught it and held it between two fingers, giving it a small shake. "It's still made of metal that's hard to come by, and once they realize that I'm certain our money will be as good as theirs. Heck, it might even be better!" He wasn't sure what Kaesstra had for natural resources, besides wood and rocks. Obviously they had some metal because of those big pillars, but that looked more like construction stuff than something you'd make currency out of. Slipping the bag back into his pocket he chuckled, folding his arms before turning away from the twins with a smug smile. "Is that jealousy I'm hearing, Kai? It's not like you to be jealous of someone, at least not openly." If this worked out then Kabocha might have a bit of influence for the first time since being on Kortal. Sure, even back home what he did have wasn't all that impressive, but it was more than most. If his money proved to be exceptionally valuable then he'd basically be nobility again.

This was going to be a blast, Takeshi could already tell. Even with Haku coming along he was sure they were going to have fun with this. It was hard not to think that way when Shu was practically set to explode with energy and all, the little guy's level of excitement was off the charts. Sticking his tongue out childishly the older boy took the lead into the woods, heading near the opposite direction Yumi and Viral had. They were off to hunt or whatever so it was best they stay away, otherwise they could ruin things for their friends. That and T'charrl might not do so well with seeing them killing wildlife, definitely a good idea to stay away. "Of course I'm going to swing longer, I promise. We've got nothing else going on so we can play all we want. Probably for the next few days even!" Unless something came up again, which was extremely unlikely they were guaranteed at least 3 or 4 days easy of just doing as they pleased. It couldn't have come at a better time for them too, everyone needed a bit of a break from the fighting. Saiyans or not they weren't mindless battling machines, even they got tired of all of it after a while.

Takeshi thought it was pretty damn neat how T'charrl could figure out where to go out here. To him it all looked the same, just trees everywhere. From where they were currently by the ship it was easier to navigate, he'd seen the city from their landing spot and could easily follow it. Once they ended up in the thick of the growth however he'd be good as senseless. There was no navigating by the sun on Kaesstra since he was pretty sure it didn't follow the same pattern as Earth's, and who knows what the stars looked like. "That's awesome T'charrl, really. And it's a good thing you feel relaxed too." Their friend had been really uptight and nervous about coming to Kaesstra the last few days, even with him trying to hide it they could tell. Funny though, once they had landed and set foot it was like T'charrl was a totally different person. He was enjoying himself and looked to not be worried about a single thing. Maybe he was really excited about playing, or really eager about seeing his parents again. His current form was a slight issue still but no one here was going to bring that up and risk upsetting the guy.

Swinging through trees sounded fun, but terribly complicated. How were they even supposed to do that anyways? Shu could do it easily with his tail, but Takeshi was missing his and T'charrl was hardly built for that sort of thing. Haku had his but he didn't even know where to begin in trying to swing around with it, that just wasn't something he'd done. According to the younger Prince you didn't really need a tail for it, you could get on fine without one. Okay, so how in the hell did you do it? And more importantly why were they doing this? There were plenty of other, more normal things they could do other than swinging about like a bunch of monkeys. Scratching at his head a bit Haku looked over at Shu, managing a ghost of a smile as he did so. "Are you going to teach us how to do this or something...?" he mumbled, not sounding all too confident, "Swinging from trees isn't exactly something most people do." Actually he didn't know a single person on any planet that did it. He knew of it, obviously, he'd seen monkeys doing it in the East City zoo, and elsewhere as well, but never a person. That aside they were basically excluding T'charrl with this game, something Haku was a bit surprised Shu didn't realize. Surely he wasn't that dim?

Viral wasn’t all that amused when he was being called smelly and Yumi was definitely doing a lot of that, especially considering she kept using the word ‘smell’. She wasn’t defending herself very well with this choice of words, finding it to be a little too much for her to try and defend. “Maybe? So there’s some doubt in it? If you expect me to shower more just because you think I stink…” he grumbled, not terribly amused. She seemed to certainly not know how to find replacement words when the situation called for it, making some pretty awkward responses when she tried to correct herself. Getting a little fed up already he stared upward, finding it to be relieving to see now that it was no longer a metal ceiling with little lights. “Just the basics? You should try and find those then and see if you can make a weapon from that. I shouldn’t need to show you how to do such a thing if you think you can do it. It’ll be a test…besides, a hunter should know their weapons before they start”.

Kai gave a side glance to Kabocha before sighing, shaking his head, “You could be handing them a rock for all they know. You have to check first or try to exchange it before you start throwing it around like it’s some sort of precious metal…” It sure was difficult to get the basics through to Kabocha and the fact that a strange metal could just be seen as useless to this kind of race. While Kabocha was definitely considering throwing it in their faces blindly he certainly had the nerve to call him jealous next, giving him a sharp look. “Excuse me? I am not jealous of money! I’m just concerned that you’re actually considering it to be the deciding factor on whether we get food or not without properly investigating it! Thinking you can throw money in someone’s face doesn’t work and you have to understand that yourself…also, shouldn’t we at least fly to the city?”

T’charrl was pretty excited about his abilities, knowing he could connect his energy to his planet’s like this. He didn’t know how much it extended, but maybe it was just on his own planet and nobody else’s due to obvious reasons. He was sure he was able to tap into the roots of the trees and find people if he extended his energy enough, but maybe he shouldn’t try that when he could end up blowing the energy up. His energy was the same as his planet’s energy in a way and being able to do such a thing was probably the best thing if he was to get lost. Maybe he could find his way back to the ship without looking for it using it, but he’d have to try that later. “This is exciting…uhh, I don’t mind if you all play in the trees. I’ll remain on the ground or fly with you. I want to see how you play by swinging if that’s what you like…”

Shu was pretty happy, bouncing on his feet a little before running off to a nearby tree, looking up it before turning around to the others again, squeaking when he was instead questioned about it. He didn’t understand the question, especially when it wasn’t something you were taught or needed a tail for. “Most not from your place only! Others do too! Many do!” he squeaked, stomping his foot briefly before quickly spinning around, jumping onto a tree and clinging onto it, “Climb and bounce and swing! It fun! You don’t need to if you don’t find it fun!” Climbing up onto a branch he bounced on it a little, “Takeshi done it before! I feel light here, it good and fun! Maybe you no know what fun is…”

Yumi was pretty well aware her line of joking was lost on Viral, probably just best to drop it then. They were out here to have fun, not get all riled up over a small tease that had gotten out of hand. Smiling exasperatedly she rubbed at her head, letting out a sigh before looking over at the Beastman apologetically. "You don't need a shower, there's absolutely nothing wrong with your scent. Forget I said anything, let's focus on hunting, okay?" It was hard for her to get all bent out of shape right now, they were outside on a beautiful day and about to do something they hadn't in quite a long time. The last time they had hunted together was during their initial journey with Takeshi and Shu, well over a year and a half ago. The whole day was a long time coming indeed and Yumi wasn't going to let anything keep them from enjoying themselves. Humming softly she jumped over a fallen tree, turning on her heels to face Viral as she walked backwards, cocking her head to the side questioningly. "You say I should know my weapons but I've never used one before. Either I was too young to when we hunted or the only one we had was your cleaver, and you don't like other people touching that. I know how to make one but it's a bit much to assume I'll know how to use it flawlessly right away." She'd try of course, it wasn't hard to make a spear. She just needed something to fashion it together, that was all. "I don't suppose you're carrying string on you... Are you?"

How hard could it be to buy food from the Kaesstrians, really? Money was money, even aliens should be able to recognize currency regardless of whether it was theirs or not. If not he could probably exchange it somewhere, or use his bit of leverage with T'charrl to get them money. Hey, they had saved the planet in essence so the very least they were owed was a bit of money. Disregarding entirely what Kai was on about he pocketed the coins again, shrugging as he started off to the woods on the way to the city. Was Kai just sore at the fact food was being bought for him? Maybe it was a pride thing, not as if cooks really ever had the money to buy food before. "Of course money is a deciding factor. I figured you'd have learned by now that you can get almost anything you want with money," Kabocha pointed out, honestly surprised that Kai thought so little of it. Smiling amused he reached into his pocket once more, taking out a single coin before tossing it at his friend's head jokingly. "Hah, throwing it then just worked!" Letting out a laugh he quickly took off, flipping over as he flew and waving at the twins below, "Well come on then, the city is waiting boys!"

Maybe if they were lucky Shu would tire himself out just by bouncing around incessantly. Takeshi was all for playing but he wouldn't do it all day, that was a bit excessive. His little brother on the other hand looked ready for a week straight of goofing off, a little much by any stretch. Smiling exasperatedly the Saiyan rubbed the back of his neck, glancing over at T'charrl when he heard him talking. "Fly with us if that's what you have to do, it's kind of lame to just stay on the ground don't you think?" he asked, "And watch Shu do it, not me. I just kind of jump around, I can't do what he does." As if that was some sort of cue Shu bolted up a tree not a second later, doing so in a single leap and landing on a branch. Stopping to look up at his little sibling Takeshi smiled amused, shaking his head, "You've got to wait for us buddy, we're not as good at it as you are!" he called up, looking at T'charrl again for a second before jumping up and landing on the branch beside Shu. Right, so now he needed to remember how to do this. Just grab the branch and swing around, he could cheat a bit and use Ki to stay in the air if he had to. Reaching over and poking Shu in the side the older boy jumped off, laughing as he flipped head over heals before grabbing the nearest branch, swinging underneath and propelling himself upwards to the next tree in line. "Come on Shu, keep up!"

So they were really doing this stuff then, oh boy. Even Takeshi could somewhat swing around, probably nowhere near as well as Shu could. Haku's only relief was the fact T'charrl couldn't do it so by that logic he wasn't the worst one in the group. Seeing as that was what they were doing for now he figured he would join in, even if he ended up making a fool out of himself. Smiling uncertainly the Saiyan jumped up into another one of the trees, landing easily enough on the branch. So just jump from tree to tree and swing on the branches, didn't sound so hard. Picking out a tree a bit off to the side he made a jump for it, going a bit to fast for his liking. Rather than grabbing onto the branch he pushed off of it, going up and over awkwardly as he flailed his limbs haplessly. Searching frantically for the nearest branch to grab onto Haku shot himself forward, getting a good grip with both hands before swinging a bit and stopping himself. Okay so that was a lot harder than it looked, it was really disorienting getting flipped upside down.

Viral was probably the last person to joke around with, especially when it came to personal appearance and smells. He wasn’t having any of it when he was feeling like this, but he wasn’t exactly angry about it either. He was just moody and not wanting to deal with such things, making him feel annoyed above anything else. “You just don’t like the fact that you’re digging yourself into the centre of this planet”. If she was to learn anything out here she would need to do everything herself, only placing himself at her side as guidance. He wasn’t going to hold her hand through this all when she knew what to do and how to make a weapon, especially when she said so herself. Staring at her as she spoke he soon sighed, his eyes slowly moving away from her before he rubbed his head, “You should’ve read enough books and seen enough hunters to know how to make a simple weapon…that’s the point”, he grumbled, not impressed with Yumi when it sounded as if she did no research to begin with. If she wanted to hunt so much then she should had looked up a few things about it like how ancient people hunted to start off. “String…? If you were out in the wild and had to find string then you look for something that’s similar to it! This forest is full of everything you need, just look for it…”

Kai knew Kabocha was not all that bright but he didn’t think he didn’t think through a language barrier when it came for money. Not everyone knew money when they saw it and if they thought it was useless then they won’t take it. If Kabocha ended up embarrassing them all while trying to get food then he’d rather find his own instead. “Anything you want? Maybe in your society, but not where I grew up”. Money had no power where he came from, it just meant you picked it up accidentally and had to give it back somehow. If the Kaesstrians were going to reject anything it would be some shiny metal that looked like it had been found or it was a trinket of sorts. The most they had going for them was that they were a different race altogether. Letting out a sigh he looked to his brother before they both took off as well, flying after Kabocha with some reluctance. “What will be even funnier is if they think you’re some stinking traveller, though…what with those medals of yours you call money…”

T’charrl didn’t mind not being able to do much from where he was, especially when he was too big to go in the trees for now. Once he was able to be himself he would be able to climb trees again without worrying about breaking them. He didn’t want to hurt the trees when he knew he could avoid something like that so chasing them down made him happy enough. “I’ll go on the ground. I want to see how well I can run”, he spoke, looking down at himself briefly before turning to Shu as he was already on his way with the climbing. Looking to Haku he found it disappointing that he wasn’t really making an effort to have fun with them, especially if he was trying to fit in. The moment he spotted Takeshi making a move through the trees he headed off as well, bounding through the trees pretty easily. He hadn’t had enough practice moving in this form so it was definitely going to help, even if he was tripping a few times.

Shu didn’t want Haku around but it wasn’t as if he could get rid of him easily, ending up with him struggling to feel completely happy like he wanted to. Luckily for him he was in the trees and he was happy in the trees. Looking between T’charrl and Takeshi he soon giggled when Takeshi poked him, swiping his hand out at him playfully before bouncing off after him. “No! Keep up with Shu!” he yelled back as he started to race forward, managing to swing through the trees easily. He wasn’t using his tail and was just letting the damp branches move him forward with hard swings, finding it all to be too fun. “Yay! Fresh air! Fresh trees! Fresh everything! Outdoor is best door!”

Yumi smiled playfully at Viral before continuing on, not wanting to further agitate him right now. She was only poking a bit of fun at him, nothing serious. She knew how to hunt at a very basic level right now, fashion weapons and lay traps, she'd done all of that before. Her idea of their going hunting though was doing it more like animals, utilizing their senses and hunting by hand. The Beastman wasn't going to be crazy about that idea, though, she could already tell. Otherwise he'd not have bothered bringing up weapons in the first place. Realistically she could have everything she needed within moments, sans perhaps for something to fasten the sharpened rock to the stick. Some kind of fibrous plant, which would be easy if they were on Earth. Here on Kaesstra she hadn't a clue what sort of plant would suit her needs. "That would be much easier if we were back on our planet, you know that," Yumi retorted, frowning as she began glancing around for components to her weapon, "We have no idea what half of these plants are like, or how well they'll work. I should have though to ask T'charrl earlier..." Trial and error then, she'd find a winning combination sooner or later. Aha, and there was the first piece she would need too, a nice solid looking branch fallen from a tree! Beaming she jumped over to where it laid and snatched it up, giving it a careful inspection as she turned it over in her hands. Breaking off a few smaller limbs she used the branch to give a tree a solid whack, satisfied when it held together. Now for a sharp rock and some string!

"We're from the same society, Kai! Just different parts!" Kabocha retorted, smirking as he began to move into the air, "Don't get sore at me because I drew a lucky straw. I guess none of that matters now that we're on the run though, huh? We're equals as far as anyone else is concerned." There was a faint hint of bitterness in his tone, but he tried his damnedest not to let it show as he turned and took off, ready to get to the city. His money had to work, no one else had any sort of coinage on them and they certainly wouldn't get anything for free. Maybe he was being a bit cynical, but it was unlikely these people would give them free food for something they had done well over a month ago. It would be a nice gesture, and sure as hell more convenient but unlikely. Feeling two powers coming up behind him Kabocha glanced back, making a rude gesture to Kai out of frustration, "They'll take my money Kai, just you wait! And maybe I won't even pay for your food for being such a skeptic!" Hmph, that would show him. Even Choi was keeping his mouth shut for a change so couldn't his twin just do the same? If they had to find another means of paying for food then he wasn't sure whatsoever what they were going to do.

Shu was more than handily going to win whatever little race they might have, Takeshi knew that. Still he couldn't help but turn it into a competition, it just made things all the more exciting. Grinning as he came alongside his brother the older boy prodded Shu in the side before taking off, swinging and leaping (mostly) from tree to tree. No one was probably all that surprised when the little guy quickly caught up and passed him, making the whole swinging thing look terribly easy. Even when doing something that required a fair bit of focus Shu still found time to be a chatterbox, talking and squeaking away like a monkey with too much sugar in its system. Takeshi found himself smiling widely at his sibling's antics, it really was impossible not to play along when he was like this. "Outdoors isn't a door, knucklehead!" he called ahead, laughing as he flipped off of a branch and onto another, "Being outside is kind of awesome though!" It really had been much too long since they had done this. Even on Earth they hadn't played a whole lot, spending most of their time inside of the city. Takeshi missed this stuff, it really was more fun than he gave it credit for, they ought to do it more. If he missed it as much as he did then Shu must have been really itching for some time outside.

Haku was beginning to see how the others could have fun doing something like this. Sure it was awkward, terribly so. He couldn't swing even as well as Takeshi let alone Shu, his balance was arguably crap by comparison and he kept jumping too fast and near overshooting most of his jumps. That being said it was actually enjoyable, he never did something like this before. There was never time to do something simply for the sake of doing it, it was always one job or another or some mission, that was it. Free time was basically non-existent, the most he'd ever had up until now was when he was left behind on Earth. Now he found himself with all the time in the world to do as he pleased, when he pleased, and at the current that meant giving Shu's little game a try. If he weren't so busy gasping and floundering for some solid footing he might even be laughing right now, he did crack a smile now and again. Slow as he was it was perhaps a good thing for him T'charrl opted to try running in that new form of his, both of them were much slower than the Princes who were racing on ahead. So maybe he'd been a bit quick to say this was a stupid idea, now he actually wanted to see what was next on the agenda.

Viral wondered how much research Yumi put into this hunting stuff if she’s always wanted to do it with him again, but maybe she was just saying that so he’d do this with her. She was certainly quick to try and get her way when it came to these sorts of things but when they actually did it he was baffled when she didn’t care much to learn how to make basic weaponry. If they had to they would find the Kaesstrians for some weaponry, but otherwise he was hoping she would figure out how to make it herself without his help. The planet was rich of great resources and it wasn’t as if she was going to waste any time when they had barely set off. They had to find the lake and that was going to be their main task, then maybe she could get to doing some fishing. Fishing wouldn’t be hard, especially seeing as they didn’t know what was in that lake so simple diving was going to be done first to check for life. He could last underwater but he knew Yumi couldn’t, meaning he would probably have to go alone a lot of the time. “Test how the plants work. You knew we were going to do this”, he sighed, finding it all to be a little annoying seeing how much she had actually prepared herself. Watching her grab a branch and give it a good test he followed along as she continued to try and find other parts for her weapon. He could show her how to use the branch in another way, but if she wanted to use the rock for the sharp point then he wasn’t going to stop her.

“The lucky straw? Just because I was born into poverty doesn’t mean I wasn’t happy working with my brother and father! You didn’t even have a sibling…” Kai snapped at him back, not exactly finding his method of showing off to be all that pleasing to listen to. Sure, his job was pretty crap at the best of times and the abuse his kind got was pretty terrible but at least they were a close knit group and he had his brother to help him along with it. Choi not getting involved in this was probably wise since he’d probably get too excited with the subject. Letting out a sigh he shook his head, looking to Kabocha he narrowed his gaze, hardly seeing his form of ‘intimidation’ as any sort of threat to his well-being. “We’ll just have to see about that, won’t we? Shouldn’t you try to exchange your money first anyway just to test the waters and see if it actually has any real value…? Just looks like shiny metal to me”.

T’charrl hadn’t really ran like this before and was kind of enjoying the burst of speed he was getting, but he knew it wasn’t the fastest he could go if he was in the right form. He had gone through other transformations in the past and this one was quite slow compared to his first change which definitely gave a lot of reach meaning a lot of speed. He was having the problem of trying to control his body sometimes as he swayed from left to right, but he figured that was because of his arms were so widely spaced compared to what they used to be. Bounding along he looked up to Takeshi and Shu, listening to their banter before springing forward a few times, fluttering his wings every so often. The most relieving thing was feeling as light as anything now that he was back on his planet instead of super-heavy in their gravity.

Shu was having a lot of fun, he didn’t even need to focus on what he was doing to get going along with swinging in the trees. It was really fun and he was having a lot of it now that he was outdoors, even finding the different air very refreshing. He didn’t know what was in their air but he could breathe it and it had a nice sweet smell to it so that was always pleasant. Swinging through the trees with ease he looked to Takeshi before giggling, finding him to be pretty silly. He was trying and looked like he was having fun so that was a plus. “But door is in the word! It funny word but it best for out here!” he squeaked, flipping up onto a branch before bouncing along them, finding that to be just as fun too, “Wish we had trees in ship! Why no plants? It’s big enough for plants! They be nice too…bouncy bouncy!”

Hm... A nice flat, sharp stone. There had to be something like that around here, and if not she could easily break one to suit her needs. It was finding some kind of fiber to bind it all together that was going to prove to be the really tricky part. Maybe she could see if any of the trees were fibrous enough, pull back some bark and see what they looked like underneath. Or some small plants should do the trick, something flexible. "I know Viral, but I don't even know what plants to look for here. It's not Earth, we don't know what any of these are really," Yumi said, giving her stick a careful look over, "I could just make this really pointy and leave it at that, but that's no fun!" Now where was a rock when you needed it? There were loads of smooth ones, especially by a small stream they had crossed, but nothing remotely sharp. She'd probably need to make one herself then, no big deal. The next smooth rock she found she scooped it up and showed it to Viral, smiling knowingly before making a detour towards a larger rock off to the side. "That's two out of three down, still need that string though..." Taking a second to look at the rock in hand she began striking its sides along the small boulder, slowly chipping away the edges with each hit. Using Ki to simply cut away at the rock would be leagues easier but it might also somehow anger Viral, best not to do that. With a series of strikes Yumi had what resembled a slightly jagged but perfectly workable spearhead. Using the rock she'd fashioned she cut away a small nick in the edge of the branch, resting the rock in it soundly. "Tah-dah, one spear! Almost."

Kabocha shrugged his shoulders, not particularly bothered by the sibling comment. Sure he had no siblings but that meant he got everything he wanted. That and he got better individual training than the twins did, so that was a plus. The only thing they had going for them was their teamwork, something that the Princes couldn't even match still. Probably part of that twin-telepathy stuff Choi had brought up before. Weird, he couldn't imagine someone being in his mind, nor would he want them too, it could be a pretty shady place. "Alright, we'll try exchanging the money for some Kaesstrian coin if that makes you happy," Kabocha said reluctantly, exasperated with Kai, "Sheesh, it's not like it's the end of the world if we can't buy things. Just means we need to go and hunt, which isn't exactly hard." That might even be preferable, all things considered. They would at least know then what they were eating. Whatever they bought may not taste all that good, or when they found out what it was it may be a bit off putting. Far as Kabocha could recall these people weren't huge on meat either so the selection likely left a lot to be desired. Worst case scenario he could always by some souvenirs, gods know why though.

Takeshi was having fun, a lot more than he'd thought he would have. Maybe he needed this break as well, it was nice to be able to goof off without the sense of something hanging over your head. Well there were the tree canopies, but that was different. His tree-to-tree leaping wasn't nearly as graceful as Shu's was, he stumbled a fair bit and had to take shortcuts but it was working out, and he was enjoying it. They really didn't do enough of this kind of stuff anymore, everything was so rigid and focused on the war as of late. Landing squarely on a thick branch he took a brief moment to check on the others, smirking T'charrl and Haku a fair bit behind them. So they weren't nearly as fast, with the Kaesstrian having to run and the other Saiyan being less than graceful. Couldn't blame him, goodness knows Takeshi was awkward as anything on his first attempt. Crouching down and placing his hands on the branch he launched himself forward, laughing as he went between two branches and grabbed onto one beyond them, swinging around and flipping up into the air. Again he managed to find some easy footing on a branch, the limb bending as he landed before he jumped off again. "Tell Vegeta! Maybe we can get some on there!" Takeshi said with a laugh, jumping to get closer to Shu, "I bet it'd work!"

Those two made this look so easy it was ridiculous, Haku could hardly keep himself up. He almost felt embarrassed when trying to do this alongside the Princes, there was no way he could do what they did and he knew it. It might be true practice makes perfect but at the moment he was finding it hard to want to keep trying. It didn't help either when Takeshi launched himself forward and made it look simple, he couldn't do that unless he wanted to smack into a tree or something. Glancing down at T'charrl and seeing the Kaesstrian running along he figured he might as well do that instead, running was something he could do just fine. Bounding off of the next branch he used his Ki to push himself down, landing a bit behind the alien before breaking off into a run, keeping just behind him. Even if he couldn't swing in the trees and felt a bit lame for it Haku couldn't say he wasn't enjoying himself. This was all new to him, the world, running about, laughing with people, and he really liked it. They didn't like him being here and he knew it but he could still enjoy things on his own. Glancing over at T'charrl he smiled faintly, his eyes shifting to the ground as he ran along. "Your planet is... Really nice..." Haku mumbled, coughing awkwardly, "Much nicer than Kortal... I like it."

Hm, was it wrong to call what he was doing work when it was promising to be so fun? Vegeta was technically going into the city for a progress update from Katas and to look into other matters, so it was all business, but he was a bit giddy to do it. What had the Kaesstrians done in his absence, he wondered. They showed promise, and goodness knows they had some impressive technology given their world's overall status. Their medical facilities were good enough to work on Viral and that led him to believe their other technology must be comparable, if not better. He knew their inter-city communications were good, complete with holograms and impressive data transfer, and they actually had a fairly robust electrical grid set up for the city as well. Supposedly the other major cities of Kaesstra were just as good if not more-so, it was like being in a candy shop, having the chance to experience all of it. Looking into other cities would have to wait though, that would mean traveling and it was a bit hard to do that with so many people.

Viral wasn’t sure if Yumi could pull off this hunting business now that she had grown up. Even if she was able to when she was younger she still had guidance, but now she was by herself and had been a part of society for a very long time so of course she was going to have some trouble with it. If she wanted to make caveman stuff then fine, she could do that, but he wanted her to learn from her mistakes if something went wrong in the design of her weapon. She needed to know how to kill with her weapon and if it wasn’t going to do that then she was going to fail. They hadn’t seen the wildlife here apart from the critters they had to eat while living in that house so finding something large enough to get speared was definitely going to be a challenge. “If it is long and doesn’t snap when you try to stretch it then it’s probably good to use as rope. It’s not that hard…” Watching as she decided upon a rock he simply sighed and continued onwards, watching her as she cut into it to make it somewhat lethal. She may need to get really up close to use that thing effectively but she could manage that easily, hopefully without Ki. “Now you’ll need to find that bind for the stone. Maybe then you’ll be able to use that as a reliable weapon”.

It was about time Kabocha saw some sense and was actually going to do something with his money rather than simply expecting them to take it. Of course there would be trouble if they tried to buy stuff with a foreign currency; he didn’t even know what they used here nevermind whether it was made of metal or not. If they could get some food then everything will be peachy, but so long as they got it legitimately and not had to end up going elsewhere to find their own food or just steal it. They were foreigners and that was going to be the most obvious thing about them, but whether they were going to get recognised for what they accomplished over simply being random aliens was going to be the biggest challenge. “The others are all out in the wilds probably doing the same thing so unless you want hunting competition only to end up with weak prey we should really try some of the native’s cuisine”.

“Hey! While you two are drooling, I can see the city from here!” Choi suddenly spoke up, pointing out into the distance. The tops of the buildings were soon becoming visible as well as the large tree which was still standing. It was kind of strange to see it still there after it grew so fast last time, especially when he thought the faster something grew the sooner it died. Maybe it really was what T’charrl said it was and if that was the case maybe the Kaesstrians won’t want to chop it down. “Man, doesn’t seem that long ago since we were there, huh?”

Shu didn’t really know how the others were holding up or if they were at all, only that he was having fun and was racing his brother along the branches. He knew Takeshi would never be as good as he was at it but that didn’t mean he was going to slow down for him. Bouncing along all happily he soon stopped, turning around to look to Takeshi and his friend. T’charrl was a little behind but Takeshi was keeping up fairly okay, for someone without a tail at least. Watching him he soon became excited when he watched Takeshi managing to slip between branches and do a flip, bouncing all excitedly on the branch. “Ooh ooh! Swing, swing!” he squeaked, holding onto the branch with his tail before jumping away, “You think it will work? Really? I hope, I hope! I don’t like how flat the floor is all the time!”

With being so far behind T’charrl did start to wonder what his mother might think of him returning to the planet and not checking in with her immediately, but he still had some things to figure out before he did so. He really missed her and did hope they would get the communications on the ship sorted earlier but they just weren’t going to happen right now. He was both scared of seeing her again and anticipating it, but for now he was going to relax and chase after his friends. Watching them as he darted around the trees and dodged the odd boulder or two his eyes soon went to Haku who tried to speak to him, not feeling too sure to what he thought about him actually attempting something like that. “Uhhh…Kortal? I see”, he spoke, looking back to his path, “Uhhh, this is barely anything, though…I mean, the forest is nice, but this isn’t what my people pride ourselves in. Going there soon once I, uhh…figure out the thing…”

"It is hard, Viral! I've got no idea what plant here is going to be like that," Yumi pouted, wiggling the sharpened stone imbedded in her spear shaft, "It's not building a weapon that's the hard part, it's knowing what to use on an alien world." A perfectly legitimate gripe in her mind, they weren't familiar with the fauna here. Nor were they even certain something like a spear was bound to work. She could be going through all this trouble only to find out a spear was completely useless against most animals on Kaesstra. Trial and error, that was the name of the game. It was a bit difficult to accept that when your stomach was already grumbling at the prospect of a nice big meal before you. "I know that, something to bind it together." Hm, there was some tall grass here and there, maybe that would work? If she layered it enough Yumi was hopeful it would be strong enough to hold the rock in place. Or there were tall, thin bladed plants lying around under some of the trees, but she was pretty certain she could see thistles on those, which would make them very not fun to handle. Finding the next sizable clumping of tall-blade grass she hurried over and knelt before a tree, beginning to pull up the longest bits she could find. "If this doesn't work... I can always use my sleeves again, if the grass doesn't work," Yumi said, grinning teasingly at Viral, "Unless you'd rather me not do that."

Their money was foreign to the Kaesstrians, he would give Kai that much, but it was still precious metal. So maybe these people wouldn't recognize the exact value of their money but at the very least Kabocha figured they would appreciate it for what it was. What a bother it would be having to exchange it too, there was no way of knowing how much their money was worth and vice versa. It would be so much easier if everyone just took the same kind of money, which most planets under the Saiyan rule did. That was probably the only good thing about the King's manic empire building, convenience. "You say that like we can't hunt or something, Kai!" he retorted, glancing back with a smirk, "The three of us could out-hunt them in a heartbeat." What was Choi yelling about now? He'd nearly missed it, but the words registered when Kabocha looked ahead again and saw buildings beginning to peek up over the canopies. Yep, looked the same as before save for the big tree which looked even bigger now. Or maybe he'd just not really noticed it before, hard to say. It was a bit exciting admittedly to be coming back after all of this, he wanted to see how things had turned out after their slightly sloppy coup d'etat. "Of course it doesn't seem all that long ago, that's because it wasn't."

Keeping pace with Shu was exhausting, to say the least. No matter how quickly Takeshi got himself moving he couldn't manage to stay alongside his little brother, let alone overtake him. While he did want to win their impromptu race he was having a lot of fun running along in the trees as well, so he didn't mind as much as he might otherwise. Besides, gradually getting a hold on it meant he could do more intricate tricks, like diving between the branches whilst stretched out. It was almost a bad move as he nearly hit his head on the upper branch, but after clearing them by a margin he grabbed onto the next and swung back up, righting himself with a laugh. In the moment the older boy was inclined to agree with Shu, they really should have some kind of forest inside of the ship. Never mind the logistics of getting one inside and maintaining it, Takeshi thought it would be a neat idea. Grinning broadly at his sibling he took off again when Shu did, simply jumping to the next tree as he did so. "Yeah, why not! It's something for Vegeta to do, which he'll love, and it'll help all of us to have something like that, you know? I'm sure the guy can figure out how to set it up." Practicality notwithstanding it would just be really cool to see some woods inside of a ship like theirs too, a first of its kind for sure.

Haku felt plenty awkward enough trying to talk to T'charrl, full well knowing they got off on the worst foot possible. At least he was making an effort here instead of just sulking like he usually did. It was almost painful in a way to see how uncomfortable the Kaesstrian was to talk with him, but he understood why it was. He'd be pretty wary over someone who tried to kill him too, perfectly good reason and all. Maybe a bit of small talk would help break the ice and things would go from there, or he could totally get shut down and ignored. "Heh... Really...? The forests are kind of awesome," the Saiyan remarked, smiling slightly as he looked around them, "The whole planet is..." And to think they were going to get to look around to their heart's content. It was his first time that he was going to get to actually explore an alien world as opposed to razing it to the ground, so yeah, he was a bit excited. Even if everyone around him didn't fully accept him he could still enjoy where they were all the same.

It was abundantly clear the very second Vegeta set down in one of the streets that he'd broken his own rule on discretion. A Saiyan flying in from the woods would naturally draw attention, he'd done just that as opposed to walking in. To be fair though once he was in view of the public it would be nigh impossible to remain discreet anyways given he wasn't a native to this world. Having heads turn would only be a natural reaction to his presence, and an unavoidable one. All of this attention wasn't an issue, but Vegeta did have some ways to walk before he reached Katas' place of work. Provided the Kaesstrian was even still there after the General was usurped of his seat of power he would have to get inside to even speak with the man. Worst case scenario, if Katas was not there, he would need to find some means of tracking down the Kaesstrian in question. Shame he didn't know many other of their people from the city as otherwise it might have been an easy task. He did notice something as he walked along though, something which brought a faint smile to his face. As opposed to only the lightly colored, extravagantly dressed Kaesstrians filling the city he now saw more of the darker, down-to-earth toned Kaesstrians as well, T'charrl's people. So they had begun interacting with one another, and peacefully at that. That was promising, it was good to know their efforts hadn't resulted in even further fighting.

“It’s not like it’s going to explode in your face if you try to use the plant! If it pops then whatever, you grab something else, but it’s not going to hurt you to try!” Yumi was really trying hard to come up with excuses, it seemed. Viral was just getting irritated with her excuses and lack of exploration even when this whole exercise was about exploration. They had to try and find the beasts before they could hunt and to hunt they needed a weapon. He wasn’t going to baby her through the entire process; she needed to figure it out on her own and learn from her own mistakes. Watching her try for something else he folded his arms, watching her decide on the grass but of course she was soon back to suggesting something pretty dumb in his eyes. “You’re not using your clothing! If you were out in the wilds and you had no sleeves what would you use??” he asked her before groaning, shaking his head, “Don’t bother. Use that grass, okay?? All you’re doing is getting on my nerves and it’s not helping at all. The sooner you figure out how to make this weapon the better, then we’ll be able to go out and kill something before I get bored…”

Choi didn’t want to get involved in Kai and Kabocha having their little fight, especially when he didn’t get the big deal. If they didn’t take it then whatever, they’d get food, but he thought maybe it was Kai who was making the biggest fuss. The guy didn’t want to cook, but he didn’t trust Kabocha to cook either. It was easy to tell what Kai was thinking when they were brothers and having no desire to cook meant he was going to avoid doing it completely for as long as possible. To not cook is to have a holiday and that’s what Kai wanted. Seeing the city ahead and Kabocha coming to an agreement to try and exchange his money certainly made things better. “It was long enough ago! Who knows how quick these guys are at rebuilding, especially after that mess we caused”, he spoke quickly, getting higher to try and see beyond the horizon more, “You know, we never actually cared how long a day lasted on this planet. They might repair things a lot faster because they’re up for longer, you know? Ever thought of that? T’charrl barely ever sleeps and it’s really weird already…”

Shu was probably the least likely to run out of steam in this forest, swinging around all crazy and happily. He didn’t know when to stop sometimes and had to keep looking back to see if the others were keeping up. Maybe he should head back around and get T’charrl involved again, but he was talking to that Haku guy. He was a pretty mean fella and Shu didn’t want to be near him, even feeling pretty anxious just looking at him. Going back to concentrating on swinging around he looked to his brother, squeaking with each jump he made. “Ooh! He would do? I hope so! Yes! Ooh! I hope he does it! There loads of space and much light!” He would certainly love to have trees in the ship, being able to swing around in them and sit under them made him feel so at home. The metallic nature of the space ship was just hard and cold, giving him no feeling of home whatsoever. “I wonder if maybe fruit trees! That would be nice. Ooh! I hope for nice soft ground too! Always sore and hard and cold for my feet…”

T’charrl didn’t know why Haku had chosen to speak to him but he wasn’t going to challenge it, seeing how he wasn’t causing any harm doing it. He was still a bit funny about him even if he helped him, but it was only natural when he was still a stranger and not one he got very well acquainted with when he was on Earth. Not really causing any trouble he sighed a little as he turned his head again, looking out to the path in front of him. “It is? Uhhh, thanks…I mean, it’s nothing special; Earth had them as well, just not like these ones”, he spoke, not quite understanding the compliment all that much. He thought Earth’s forests were amazing and he had always been around these ones so it was a little difficult to feel the same about it. “It is better underground, or at least…that’s where I live so I feel it’s better. I miss my home, my family and my people most. That is where it is best”.

"Maybe it will explode in my face though, we don't know what the plants here are like. Or maybe it'll try to eat me!" Yumi replied, making gnashing gestures with her hands before smiling, holding up a finger, "We need to be careful of the plants and animals since we don't know what they all are... Or something along those lines. I may be paraphrasing but you told me that when I was little. So I'm doing just that, I'm being careful!" Viral should be happy about that, her recalling a lesson he'd given her years ago. It wasn't down to the exact lettering but she knew the gist of it, enough to mind what she was doing. So long as she didn't grab at anything with poisonous pollen or poisonous barbs then she would be just fine. Regardless of if they had healing tanks on the ship or not it would really stink to get sick in some way after just having landed. Goofing around as she was sort of helped counter the slight nervousness at pulling at random plants for her weapon. Grass was safe though, grass was always safe. She found some large, blueish blades of grass beneath a tree and opted to use those for her weapon. Carefully pulling some free she held the spear between her legs, intertwining the glass to strengthen it before tying it around the spear head and shaft, securing them together. She just had to make one last little joke though, bringing up her hasty act the other day of tearing her clothing up for bandages. Viral obviously didn't like that idea, and she got a good laugh out of his response. "Already done Viral, see?" Yumi said, brandishing her finished spear proudly, "Are you going to make a weapon too?"

Kabocha didn't think it had been all that long, really. A month at most, maybe a few weeks more, but not that long. The twins raised a fair point though, time on Kaesstra passed at a far different rate than what they were used to. It was hard to say whether it was shorter or longer than normal since they had been on so many worlds, it was a little disorienting really. "It's not like we caused that much damage! It was that stupid tree that sprouted up, not us!" Kabocha said defensively, his face puffing a bit indignantly before he looked back at the city, "See? And the thing has gotten even bigger than last time! That's not our fault." Hm, that was right too, Kaesstrians really didn't sleep a whole lot. That was sort of creepy, knowing the whole planet might be awake while you were sleeping. For multiple days even, it was just unusual. These people had been the first aliens they had met where they found they didn't sleep regularly. Then again most alien races they had met were conquered or beaten down and conscripted, so their knowledge of other races wasn't exactly stellar. The city was getting closer quickly, so Kabocha began his descent towards the ground while trying to find the nearest road to set down on. With the impending approach upon them he was a little worried as to how these people were going to receive them, whether they'd left a good mark or not. If they were miffed about the city being wrecked they could blame the General, or the tree, yeah?

"I can't see any reason he wouldn't, you know? I mean what do we need, a few trees and some dirt? We can do that easy, no sweat!" Trees from Kaesstra would be even better than ones from Earth, or Uuonoe or any other planet. The ones here were taller than any others and thicker, that made them especially good for playing on. That appeared to be the case as Shu was really enjoying himself here, though it could be just the fact alone he got to do this again. Takeshi was having fun with it too, much more than he had expected to. Trying his luck with a few tricks he decided to just get back to racing along the branches, not wanting to go tumbling or face-plant after a good run. Grinning at his brother the older boy jumped over, doing his best to try and catch up to Shu so he could grab hold of him. "Wear shoes, then your feet won't be cold!" Takeshi teased, knowing full well how his little brother disliked them, "And come here, I'm going to get you!" They could afford to mess around a bit, Haku was with T'charrl and T'charrl knew the planet better than anyone, they wouldn't get lost. Plus they all had scouters now so they could get in touch if need be, there was nothing to worry about. Except for Shu, he had to worry about his older brother getting him.

Earth was nice, sure, but nowhere near as nice as Kaesstra. There were roads and towns and cities everywhere on Earth, it all looked developed and inhabited by people. Not Kaesstra, it was far more natural looking, at least the part they were in. Maybe that would change, it was hard to say as he hadn't seen the cities here yet. It really did feel like an alien world though, being the first time that Haku truly felt away from all of the fighting that the war had brought on. It was peaceful, and despite being a natural-born Saiyan he found himself really grateful for the lull in the violence. Caught up in looking around at all the new, vibrantly colored plants the Saiyan glanced back at T'charrl, frowning before shaking his head. "I don't miss my home, or family... Or any of them," Haku remarked, wrinkling his nose in disdain before scoffing, "I hope the rebels kill them all, and I hope Kortal gets razed to the ground. I was always treated like crap back at home, by everyone, no one respected me or even bothered to give me a chance, so why should I miss them? I don't care about any of that..." Was that a bit much? He probably shouldn't be voicing his feelings like that, especially not when the topic otherwise was nice and happy. Getting the idea he'd really spoken out of turn Haku lowered his eyes, sniffing before rubbing at his nose embarrassed, "Sorry... I shouldn't have said that..."

So far walking in the city was proving to be an easy task, no one seemed to particularly mind his being here. A few heads turned naturally and a few probably even recognized Vegeta, but no one bothered to interact with him in any manner, positive or negative. That was beneficial to a point, it meant he could go about his "work" at his leisure, but it would make fulfilling Sayomi's requests of doing research a bit difficult. If perchance the Kaesstrians were trying to avoid him then gathering any sort of information would become nigh impossible. He would focus on his research for Sayomi later, his quest of intrigue came first. Katas' building, as he recalled, was off to the East of where he was, overlooking several smaller buildings around it. There were not many terribly tall buildings in the area so spotting out what he was looking for wasn't that difficult, and after making it a few blocks from where he had landed Vegeta could see his goal peeking up over several smaller structures. Staring up at the structure he was a bit perplexed when he heard a dull droning noise, pausing in his step on the side of the road and glancing towards the source. Approaching him from down the road was a small craft, what almost resembled a car from Earth except a bit wider and taller. It hovered along just off the ground at a steady speed, hardly making much noise besides the droning sound as it passed him by. Vehicles...? Had they those before? Maybe not, since that was the only one he'd seen thus far. It could be too he was so far out from the center of the city. Hm... He'd have to look into that, that was a wholly new discovery for him.

Viral could see nothing around him that would suddenly come to life and try to eat her or explode in her face, especially when a lot of the flora around the place was as timid as anything. For as little fungi as there was around the place none of them looked like they would explode, plus they didn’t exactly need to go anywhere near those things even if they did react violently. “You realise you just got a stick, a rock and some grass while trying to justify possible poisoning and being consumed? The hell kind of stuff did you think we were going to do if that was on your mind?” he questioned her before groaning, “You don’t need to know about that sort of stuff unless you’re foraging…not making a weapon…” She had to learn to separate such fears when she was making a weapon and go for very raw materials. The grass wouldn’t harm them when they had been walking on it all the time, after all. It was all fine and good to be worrying about dangers when they were looking for food and creatures, but creating a weapon was hardly a threat to their health. Looking around the area for any signs of prey he looked to Yumi when she asked about his weapon, shaking his head. “I have my own weapons and know how to make my own. This is for you and for me to see if you still have it. I’ll use weapons once I know you’re ready to hunt without my guidance”.

Choi shrugged, grinning a little. “If you want to blame T’charrl for it then I’ll tell him! Then you’ll have to deal with the guilt of making him depressed and endangering his own people”, he sighed heavily, “Ohhh man, that would suck, huh?” Having a depressed friend walking around was not something Choi wanted to have and he was sure Kabocha didn’t either, even if Kabocha wasn’t one for expressing his feelings very well. Hoping that the aliens had forgiven them for doing such a thing was definitely on his mind since it would mean they wouldn’t really be able to get around much if they had an angry mob chasing after them. Descending with his brother after Kabocha he looked around the area, wondering if there was any real need to get down low at this time when they could easily fly in like all the other citizens. They all had wings so they probably used them for travelling around just like they used flight so why did they have to go down so low. “Shouldn’t we just fly straight in like they would? I mean…they have wings, right? They would just fly in anyway!”

Shu would love some trees in the ship if it was manageable, especially when it meant he would be able to feel better while on the ship just by going to see them and be amongst them. If he could feel like that he would definitely be happier and not as tired all the time. “Trees and dirt! Ooh! I hope so, I really do!” Swinging along through the trees he soon noticed out of the corner of his eye Takeshi was trying to get to him, returning that thought with a brief giggle as he bounced from side to side along the trees. “No shoes! Not doing!” he giggled, bouncing from tree to tree, swinging around them every so often, “You not gonna catch me! No catching me!” Shu knew he could be a lot more manoeuvrable around the trees than Takeshi, especially when he had a tail and Takeshi greatly lacked one. It was fun and he was sure Takeshi was having fun too, but there was no way he was going to let him catch up to him.

T’charrl wasn’t sure how the city had recovered after that battle he had with the General, especially when an entire complex had been nearly levelled and was not covered by a massive tree. He didn’t mean for any of that to happen but it was all he could do. The tree was probably going to be annoyed with his return as well, especially when he was the one that grew it there in the first place. Maybe it would be happy for his return, especially when nobody else interacted with it in the way he interacted with trees. Glancing to Haku he frowned when he instead expressed disdain over his family, looking away and letting out a sigh at his words. To wish death upon someone else was not a particularly healthy mental state, making him wonder what the guy would do if he hated him instead. Being treated badly was no reason to wish death upon someone who never tried to kill you back; the only reason he ever killed anyone was out of defence and to preserve his people. “Uhhh, I don’t think you should think like that, especially around these people”, he spoke, feeling a little uneasy, “They don’t kill others. Even I killed others but I was a scout, a warrior Prince. I needed to learn how to kill to protect others even if they didn’t like me and treated me badly. It doesn’t make me wish death upon them just because they didn’t like me”.

"Still, I could accidentally step on something, or grab something and it could make me sick! I'm just being careful is all," Yumi said defensively, pouting as she shrugged her shoulders. Maybe she'd misconstrued Viral's teachings a bit and had taken them too far, but better safe than sorry, no? Viral wasn't being totally unreasonable in his chastising either, she was being overly cautious given what they were doing. Uncertainties aside Yumi had managed to fashion together a spear that ought to suit her needs just fine, provided she made it sturdy enough. Now she had a weapon to hunt with and with some luck get some food a bit later. What was Viral going to use though? She supposed his cleaver would work, but it seemed an awfully big weapon for just trying to bring down small game. Unless he wanted to slice it in half, which while certainly effective would be very messy. "Of course I still have it, it's like riding a bike, you never forget!" Yumi said confidently, "I just need to be quiet, sneak up on my prey, stay downwind and get the jump on it, easy!" She hoped it would be, on paper hunting wasn't all that difficult. Another big issue hunting here on Kaesstra was they weren't overly sure of what the animals were like, and what was predator and prey. She figured they could sort that out pretty easily, but it could lead to some very interesting moments.

Kabocha was real indignant over the idea of the tree being their fault, they had tried to stop it! Sure, if they had been successful beforehand then it never would have happened, you could argue that, but that wasn't the case. Not killing the General then and there had proven to be an issue, and he was already thinking that the Queen had done just that, gotten rid of the man. "W-What? No, we're not blaming T'charrl either! Stop twisting my words Choi!" he huffed, glaring back at his friend, "It's the General's fault, we all tried to stop it. So none of us are getting the flak for this, got it?" Sheesh, did he want them to blame their friend? They could, however unfounded it was, and everyone knew how T'charrl would react. Their whole reason for being here was to make him feel better and help him change back, obviously dumping a whole lot of blame on him wasn't going to help any. Kabocha decided to be a bit careful in their approach to the city, flying lower to avoid drawing a ton of attention to them. "Yeah Choi, because we're Kaesstrians so we can just fly right in like they do. Oh wait, we're NOT Kaesstrians! So why would you assume we can just do what they do?" Since he was in the lead they were going to be a bit slower than that, he wasn't as confident about their reception as he might like to be. Finding a road with few Kaesstrians below he landed in the middle, already feeling a bit nervous when the people there looked at them. "So... They're going to remember us, right?"

The chances of getting a full grown forest inside the ship were probably slim all things considered. You didn't need to know a whole lot about forests to know they needed room, water and light to grow. The ship could give two of the three, Takeshi wasn't super certain how they were going to give it all water. He hadn't the heart to say anything about that to Shu though, the little guy was all seeing stars over his excitement. Instead he went ahead and made a game out of their tree-jumping, trying to grab at Shu as he sped after his brother. Shame Shu was so fast, otherwise he might actually be catching him. "If you slow down you're toast squirt, toast!" Takeshi laughed, trying his darnedest to speed up. Without using Ki to cheat he was certainly slower, that was painfully obvious as the gap between himself and his brother remained constant. Near slipping as his foot landed on a damp branch Takeshi flailed a little, barely catching himself on the next before getting his footing again. How in the world did Shu make this look so darn easy?

"Easy for you to say... Ever have everyone around you treat you like crap and hate you? My superiors, the people I fought with, even my mom and dad, everyone always treated me poorly. So yeah, I want them dead, they deserve it." Oh so T'charrl was a Prince, yeah, he could sympathize, not. The alien probably had everything he wanted and then some, plus he found himself surrounded by loads of friends now, some tough life. Both of them were warriors but that was just about where the similarities ended, one led a cushy life and the other got trampled on. Scoffing at T'charrl's reasoning Haku turned away, frowning before looking back. "I just... You really don't know what it's like... I never felt like I belonged anywhere back with my own people, do you understand that? If you can't fit in with your own people then who do you fit in with? And I don't fit in here still, I don't fit in anywhere..." It was no small wonder he was always miserable and cynical of others, he had no reason to think well of people. These people, the ones in this group of theirs, they knew how to have fun in a way that didn't involve attacking people or destroying things, that was a breath of fresh air. But they were the same as the others, shunning him and treating him like he was a nuisance. Without realizing it a few tears had slipped out, and when Haku noticed he quickly lifted an arm and wiped them away, sniffling before bolting ahead of T'charrl, really not wanting to be seen like that.

Vegeta understood Katas was a busy many, as who wouldn't be in his position. Head of technological development on Kaesstra, liaison between the Queen and the de-facto government that had been installed since the General's fall. But when the guards at the front door told him he was available Vegeta expected a bit more of an immediate response, rather than having to stand outside under the scrutiny of two fair burly Kaesstrians. They weren't particularly intimidating, if he was to be honest, but it felt like they were scrutinizing every little thing he did. Keeping his eyes straight ahead on the glass doors he breathed a silent sigh of relief upon seeing a familiar face on the other side, and by the looks of it Katas was in a rather good mood. Managing a slight smile himself he brushed past the guards, stepping into the lobby of the large building. "I'm sorry to ask this right off the bat... But are those men always so..."

"Surly? Offensive? I'm afraid so, it is their job after all," Katas replied, laughing as he folded his arms behind his back, "Security is very important here, as I'm sure you must understand, being head of a company yourself. I'm actually rather grateful that they're so stingy with who they let in, it lets us work in peace!" Vegeta still didn't appear to appreciate the security as much as he did, ah well. He supposed he wouldn't either if he was given that treatment, given his position. So the sightings of the ship were accurate then, everyone of their Saiyan allies had returned, and presumably with the Prince as well. It was his duty as Captain to notify the Queen as soon as that happened, which meant they had to get to his office promptly. Katas also rather wanted to talk about their latest work too though, the progress they had made and what plans he had in mind. So much to discuss! "I'm sure you're here for a reason, my Saiyan friend, so let's get down to business, yes? If you'll follow me to my office we can talk in privacy."

“You’re too paranoid...hmph, shows how long you’ve been away from the wilds for…” She was definitely showing off how little she knew about the wilds now, even growing worried over something that would never happen. Viral didn’t have much of a care for any of that sort of thing, especially when they had been on Kaesstra before for long enough and it didn’t matter at all then. If she thought he would get poisoned then she wouldn’t had let him go out into the wilds, even if he ended up getting stabbed through the gut. If she could kill something out here while she was feeling this way about everything then that would certainly be an achievement, but knowing her she’d probably want its blood tested for poison or something before they eat it. For him he didn’t need a weapon for doing any of this, so long as Yumi knew how to use her own weapon first. He had an assortment of ways to kill a creature and he didn’t care how he did it, but he wanted to see if Yumi could do it without resorting to Ki. “Do you remember how to track creatures? You’ll be able to sniff them out if you remember what you’re looking for. You also have to remember the creatures aren’t the same as Earth’s”, he instructed as he looked around, looking through the trees, “Unless you want to try and find that body of water first…”

Getting on Kabocha’s nerves was so easy, his inability to remain calm during his teasing just made it all the more fun. Choi wasn’t like Kai, he knew he didn’t like getting into fights like this because he often grew frustrated himself even if this was all just for amusement purposes. Giving Kabocha a grin he soon sighed, shaking his head a little. “If you say so! I hope everything stays nice and peachy with you too when the Kaesstrians notice us. Maybe they’ll blame the General because they all knew how bad he was…” Keeping with his brother he stared down at the city, feeling fairly pleased that they were here. To try and mingle like normal aliens was exciting to him, knowing they wouldn’t be seen as enemies immediately unless they tried something bad. Looking to Kabocha he sighed and rolled his eyes, the guy obviously not understanding what he meant. “Because flying in isn’t a big deal if they do it! We would just need to not look like enemies and fly slowly! Wave at them maybe, things like that. Act friendly!” He didn’t think they would get all angry at them if they flew around as well but casually did it as to not look like a threat, but Kabocha thought otherwise. “Would think they’d remember us considering we’re the only Saiyans who would ever come to their planet with no intention to fight. They’ve not exactly had a Saiyan invasion since then by looking at this place, right?”

Shu did wonder where they would have the trees if they were allowed to do such a thing, but then again so much of the ship was left unexplored too. There was so many places he hadn’t been in that place that could possibly hold a small forest for him, but that was as long as it was possible to do such a thing. Vegeta might like to do such a thing if he was able to, so long as he had time for it at least. For now, Shu was more concerned with jumping through the trees and playing around with his brother for now, bouncing around and speeding away elsewhere. “Nu uh! Can’t catch me! Can’t catch me!” he giggled, soon going higher with a quick swing finishing off with a balance on his toes and spinning around to look at Takeshi, “Easy without shoes! I don’t wear shoes so I can balance all good! You should try without shoes!” Bouncing on the branch he soon bounced away further, having a swing around to tease Takeshi.

T’charrl didn’t understand what would cause a desire to kill like that, it just wasn’t in his nature to understand such a thing. Hearing him say such things only made him remember his own childhood, how his parents were the only ones that showed love to him while everyone else thought he was weird and weak because of what he could do and how often he got beaten by the enemy. “Uhh, not everyone…I mean, uhh, I mean yes, but, uhh…” He was finding it hard to understand any of it, especially when he was not entirely sure about what he was asking in the first place. He didn’t know what he said wrong or if he said anything wrong at all, just that he wasn’t going to be allowed to kill anyone around these guys. Feeling confused, the comment about belonging hit a bit of a sensitive spot for him, his eyes briefly looking down at himself before back to Haku. Here he was hoping to get back to his people when they probably didn’t notice he was gone and never wanted him back anyway, especially when he was expected to lead by his mother. Haku was being overdramatic; he could fit in if he tried to be nice but with him he was just completely different and would always have to hide who he truly was if he was to be moderately happy at best. The pressure to try desperately to fit in was feeling too great already and here he was heading straight for the source. When Haku suddenly bolted ahead after Takeshi and Shu his focus remained on him, slowing down a little before he tripped up, sliding along the ground a little bit and hitting a tree. The tree hardly moved upon impact but it sure did hurt.

"Well it's not MY fault I've been away from it, we've been busy fighting! Plus before then I was doing all sorts of training, so... I've been busy." Though to be fair she probably could have helped it. There was ample free time while training under Geoffrey, and time between then and her capture too. It was kind of an excuse then to say she hadn't the time, because she did, Yumi just hadn't bothered really. That was what she had Viral here for, aside from just wanting to enjoy herself with him that is. Giving the spear a gentle tug to be certain it was securely made she looked over at the Beastman and smiled, laying the weapon across her shoulder. "I think the body of water would be easier, there's bound to be something near it, don't you think?" There wasn't anything nearby that an animal could really drink from, so the lake was their best bet. Even if there wasn't anything there when they arrived surely she could pick up a scent. On that note Yumi lifted her head slightly, sniffing at the air before smiling and continuing along. So many different smells, but which did they want to follow? Only one way to find out.

Kabocha was so done giving into Choi's teasing, he knew exactly what his friend was trying to do and it irritated him. No one was blaming T'charrl, mostly because either one of the Princes, Yumi or Vegeta were bound to get pissed and hit them. None of them were anyone he particularly wanted to get on the bad side of, certainly not when they were here on vacation. Landing down in the middle of an empty road Kabocha turned back to Choi when he kept on going, sighing before pinching the bridge of his nose and closing his eyes. "Alright, point made, maybe I'm being too careful. Considering what we went through last time here can you blame me though? I just don't want some loyalists trying to kill us because we got their boss tossed in a cell, that's all."

No matter how fast Takeshi was pushing himself he just couldn't keep up with Shu. He needed Ki to close the gap, and he was getting precariously close to doing that, his competetiveness beginning to wear on him. He was trying to be a good sport about being totally shown up and was doing fair well so far, he liked to think. "If you just stop... Bouncing around..." he mumbled, making a leap forward and trying to snag Shu right out of the air. Watching haplessly as his little brother jumped higher Takeshi was forced to land on a low branch, looking up with a smirk. "I'm not taking my shoes off squirt! You don't like wearing them and I don't like taking them off!" Especially not when running around in the woods, there were all sorts of nasty things he might step in barefoot. Crouching low on the branch he waited until Shu went down again before shooting off after him, grinning as he tried to close the gap.

Hmph, Haku had no idea why he was talking to T'charrl like this, it wasn't as if the guy cared any. He didn't sound nor look terribly concerned, which was fine. He didn't want sympathy anyways, hmph... He was just ranting, he didn't know why. Nor did he know why there were tears in his eyes now, though Haku did know he didn't want to be seen like that. Trying to break ahead to avoid having the Kaesstrian notice he did manage to put some distance between them fairly easily. However he heard something behind him that made him slow to a halt, the sound of something falling and smacking into a tree, the resounding noise drawing his attention. Turning he saw T'charrl laid out on the ground, head smack against a tree as he'd probably fallen. What, did he trip while they were running? Sniffling to himself Haku gave his eyes another rubbing before looking at the ever-distancing Princes, sighing before going back to T'charrl. "Come on... They'll leave us..." he mumbled, leaning over and offering a hand to help, "They'll get lost without you."

“I was trapped in the Capsule Corp for years and I’ve not forgotten anything! You’re just making excuses to your poor memory now”, Viral spoke back quickly, shaking his head, “Were you eating leaves the entire time I was gone? Hmph, maybe I should stick you in the wilds sometime by yourself…” She really needed to learn the basics of survival and not rely on the conveniences of life. There was always going to be a problem with succumbing to the easy way of life and Yumi was definitely part of that whole circle. He would definitely need to think about methods to make her just a little bit hardier than other Humans, especially when she was still considered one even with her additional animal parts; of course, that was as long as he managed to live that long. He still had great doubts that he would get through this, but of course he hadn’t started his treatment yet and time was constantly marching on. Feeling a little side-tracked he looked elsewhere, eventually looking back when Yumi stopped talking. “…Sure. If they don’t eat fruit then they’ll want to find water”, he spoke, looking around before walking off in a direction, “Try and remember the smell of water. This atmosphere is full of it and yet there’s no visible streams. It’s somewhere, just not visible”.

Choi was having fun but at least it managed to pass the time to getting to the city and finally managing to find a place to land. He didn’t see a problem with flying right in at a good pace, but Kabocha didn’t want to go on that kind of path. Certainly not caring as much Choi reluctantly followed along, looking to the ground briefly before letting out a sigh as he looked to his brother. He wasn’t too pleased with how quiet this place was, not really seeing any of the aliens in sight. “Loyalists? Kill us? Please! We’d never end up dead to a bunch of bugs”, he sniggered, “Besides, wouldn’t that come under us fighting off the bad guys, anyway? We could fight some bad guys, then we can eat if that happens. Maybe they’ll give us food for free?”

Shu was easily keeping up in the trees and throwing himself around without sliding off. He was feeling fairly happy right now and being chased just triggered all sorts of instincts in him that meant he was going into survival mode to prevent Takeshi catching him, even if he wasn’t going to hurt him. It was a lot of fun and Takeshi seemed to be having fun too, but it was a little hard to tell whether he was managing to keep up with him or was just getting lucky. He knew what to do and how to move his way around the trees but Takeshi was new to this apart from a little swing around earlier before when they were on the planet last time. Giggling away as he bounced from tree to tree he turned to Takeshi who was still struggling only to bounce immediately out of his way. “Can’t catch me!” he giggled, looking down at him, “It easier without, though! Much easy! You grossed out by anything!” Finding amusement in Takeshi’s determination he bounced down towards him, watching him carefully before suddenly bolting away when Takeshi made chase, squealing away as he swung around.

T’charrl was feeling pretty dizzy after that, his head hurting for a few moments. He was disorientated at first but was soon rubbing his head as he tried to find his bearings again. He had lost control for a moment there and apparently collided, but he was certainly not caring about that just now. Letting out a pained groan he soon sighed, looking up at the blurry figure which turned out to be Haku. Frowning he turned slightly away from him, holding his head still. “Ughh…they can fly and see where they are. I can’t take them to my home…” he mumbled, looking like he was using his camouflage to hide away instead, “I can’t go there…I can’t! You’re wrong about me! Just because I’m a Prince doesn’t mean they like me…they’ve never liked me! I can’t go back there, I can’t…”

"I was not eating leaves, I was eating whatever I could catch. I hunted when we were looking for the Dragonballs, remember? I know how to do this," Yumi retorted, huffing as she turned away and started walking on. She did know how to hunt, she'd done it plenty of times before. Though... That was with traps, just about the most passive way possible in terms of hunting. Actually going out, chasing something down and killing it with her hands, that she had never done. She should have thought to ask the boys for some advice, she knew they had done it before. Sighing and giving a shake of her head she put on a smile, deciding she was going to sort it out herself. She'd show Viral she was perfectly capable of doing this, then he couldn't chastise her any longer. If he wanted her to think about what she was doing then she'd do just that and focus up. At the very least the Beastman agreed with her idea about the water, nice to know she actually had something going for her. Giving looks around them as they moved through the forest she kept her ears perked and nose ready, trying to find any hint of animal life. Smell of water, she hadn't a clue how she was going to manage that. Water was odorless, unless it had something in it, then it was the contaminates you were smelling. Yumi would try if Viral thought that was the way to do it but she wasn't going to hold her breath.

Kabocha wasn't totally sure why this road was so quiet, even if they were a bit on the edge of the city. There were plenty of buildings here, some really nice looking too so he figured it'd be packed. Ah well, it helped his nerves to not be surrounded by Kaesstrians, he wanted a better idea of how things were before they went throwing themselves into crowds. Trying to suss out which way they should go he gave his head a scratch, glancing over at Choi when he spoke up. Frowning at his friend's comments the Saiyan rolled his eyes, starting to walk on down the road to get deeper in the city. "They almost killed the Princes and Viral, or did you forget that? They can hurt us if they want to Choi, there's plenty reason to be careful," he pointed out, "If it happens it happens, yeah, we'll kick their collective butts, but I doubt causing a fight in the middle of the street is going to land us a free lunch." Would be nice though, it would solve the entire issue of figuring out how to pay for their meals. The problem with that was it would kind of be a damper on this vacation if there were groups of Kaesstrians looking to get even, it would make relaxing awfully difficult.

Seriously, how in the world was Shu doing all of that? If Takeshi were to try those moves at even half the speed he'd end up flat on his face, they were well beyond what he could do. If he wasn't mistaken the little guy was even taunting him now, he knew full well there was no chance he'd be caught. Oh he was asking for it now, Shu was so getting some later on. Smiling a bit frustratedly he made one more leap for his brother, reaching out to try and grab hold of Shu only to end up grasping at air. Gasping when he found himself in the awkward position of being laid out in mid air Takeshi once more landed on a branch, falling forward and barely saving himself from tumbling by reaching back and grabbing the branch. As a result he swung upside down and ended up hanging by one hand, watching as Shu moved ahead unphased. Sticking out his tongue childishly the older boy ventured a glance back to see how the others were getting on, frowning at seeing T'charrl laid out and Haku over him. It didn't look like anything had been done to their friend, but why was he laid down like that? "Shu, wait up a second will you?" he shouted, swinging himself up on the branch and looking back. If Haku tried anything, or had done anything then he was in for a world of hurt.

T'charrl had tripped, he supposed, how else had the Kaesstrian ended up colliding into a tree? Some impact it was too, the noise had been loud enough probably to reach the ship back on the landing site. Though he had been trying to distance himself after the outburst Haku had turned around, opting to try and help out the alien. He wasn't sure what he could do other than offer a hand up, not exactly having many words for T'charrl. What came out of the alien's mouth next made him draw his hand back, frowning uneasily. Had what he said really hit so hard with T'charrl? Haku hadn't thought anyone here could see things the way he did, always being cast out and ostracized for seemingly no good reason. But maybe he could, maybe he and T'charrl of all people could see eye to eye. "Who are you kidding...? You've got family, don't you? Everything I heard tells me your folks love you a lot, and so do a ton of other people there. Plus you've got all your friends trying to help you, so you're just going to make them come out here for nothing?" Jeez, he was the one having the breakdown a second ago, so why was he now the one trying to console somebody? His eyes still stung slightly from the tears and he was still trying to blink a few last back for goodness sake. Extending the hand again Haku put on a small smile, gesturing with his other for T'charrl to take it. "Everyone's got someone who hates them, I know that better than anyone... Some more than others. But if you just run because someone doesn't like you then they win. I never ran, even when everyone around me hated me... If someone as weak as me can do that then a Prince can definitely do it, so come on, get up."

Viral grunted, not seeing how that was going to make things better saying that. “You all use Ki all the time. If you were ever in a situation where you couldn’t use Ki then keeping that ability should’ve been a top priority”, he spoke quickly, giving his head a quick shake before he sighed, rubbing his forehead, “So stop huffing and complaining already…you’re giving me a headache”. The smell of water wasn’t something that was hard to distinguish, especially when fresh water in a forest always had a particular smell to it. It always picked up the smell of its surroundings and enhanced them with falling moisture. He hoped Yumi would be able to pick that up at least and maybe even leading her towards the direction of the water might make things a little easier for her, even if she wasn’t aware that he was essentially leading her in the direction of it. Looking around for any tracks along the way he soon stopped and looked to the ground, frowning a little. “Hmm…do you remember how to spot tracks?” he asked up, looking back to her, “There has been a Kaesstrian around here before by the looks of it, but they’re old tracks. It’s a common mistake to chase after the scent of a local instead of a creature so get yourself acquainted with these tracks too. No point on chasing after bugs, after all…”

This place seemed like a nice neighbourhood if you liked things nice and quiet by the looks of it, Choi’s eyes surveying the area for any of the aliens. It was a little strange for a place to be so quiet but maybe this was just how things worked for them, especially when they were probably all busy doing bug-things or whatever. Looking to Kabocha he soon sighed and shrugged, smirking a little. “Ahhh, they got ambushed, remember? We’re not going to get ambushed! Besides, it’s a big street and we’re not near any trees so I doubt we’d get jumped on”, he spoke, looking around the street, “But if we take care of some bad guys then we’ll all be considered heroes and thanked and given the food, don’t you think?”

Kai let out a groan, “Are you two forgetting these aliens fly?” he asked them, pointing to the sky. There was a few Kaesstrians fluttering around up above, everything remaining fairly quiet as a lot of them merely hovered lightly around on a gentle breeze, “Stop being paranoid already, both of you. Things are going to be fine. Most of the aliens here are merely citizens, anyway. You two seem to forget we’re Saiyan warriors”.

Takeshi was going to have to up his game if he was going to catch Shu now, he thought. He was barely able to keep a hold of the branches and yet wouldn’t take off his shoes to give him even more balance and the ability to grab with his toes. Shu definitely thought Takeshi as stubborn sometimes but this was hindering his ability to catch him. It was quite funny really, having him miss so many times instead of managing to catch up with him made it all the more difficult for Takeshi to hold on and keep up. Bouncing around and swinging between the branches sure was fun, especially when he was being chased around by his older brother. Looking back at him every so often he very quickly missed being grabbed by Takeshi once more, watching him almost take a tumble but managing to grab onto a branch just before anything bad happened. Squeaking away in excitement he bounced on the branch, causing the tree to shake a little. “You need practice! Maybe we can get trees in the ship!” Feeling pretty happy he got confused when Takeshi decided to take his attention to the others who appeared to be pretty behind, looking back to his brother before making a bounce up to get higher, “What? Ooh! Friend T’charrl all somewhere!” he spoke, finding it a little difficult to see where his friend was exactly. His friend looked like he was playing hide and seek, holding his claws to his face maybe since he couldn’t see his bright eyes. Getting a little curious he was soon moving towards the pair, stalking them through the trees to get up closer.

T’charrl let out a groan, keeping his head covered. “Of course they would…I’m an only child! I have a whole world to be responsible for just because I was hatched into a certain family tree…” he spoke up but soon let out a groan, shaking his head slowly, “The only friends I’ve ever had are those I’ve been travelling with! I’ve never had any friends otherwise…they’re not out here for no reason either…I didn’t even know we were coming here until a little while ago!” He knew if he was spotted by one of his kind they would try to kill him regardless of who he said he was or even the fact he could talk. They would see him as a monster and try to end his life and that was it, nothing else. Even if they knew who he was they would probably try to kill him anyway and that would be the end of it, there would be no way he would try to stop them when he couldn’t bring himself to fight back. “It’s more than hate…it’s death for me! They may had hated you, but they never tried to kill you…did they? If they see me like this, I’m dead and that’s it. That’s it for me! If they were all Kaesstrians they would never had wanted anything to do with me, that’s just the reality for someone with my abilities…”

Yumi made a face at Viral before forging ahead, trying to make herself focus on the task at hand. Maybe she was a little reliant on her Ki, after all she'd only known how to use it for a little over a year now, so it was still new to her. It really was convenient too, all the things using your own energy afforded you, like flight and blowing things apart. Maybe if Viral could use it himself he'd have a bit more of an understanding why they all used it so much. For this particular outing though she'd avoid it, the whole purpose of today was to hunt in a more traditional sense, ie not blasting things. As she plodded along she heard Viral ask about tracks, making Yumi stop in her own as she looked down at the ground beneath her. Tracking footprints, had she ever done that before? Probably, it seemed familiar, but she was drawing blanks on the matter. Smiling sheepishly she looked back at the Beastman and shrugged her shoulders, giving a small laugh as she did so. "Maybe not the whole bit of tracking... But I know of it. So memorize the tracks of the Kaesstrians now, got it." Being mindful of the scarce tracks they could see she examined the pattern closely, even taking a whiff or two to see if a scent was left behind. Nothing really, but she knew T'charrl's well enough to venture a guess she just had to look out for scents like his. Nodding to herself she flashed a smile at Viral, turning on her heel and starting off again, "We'll find something, don't you worry! Learn as I go, that's all."

"How are you so sure we won't get ambushed, huh? There's alleyways and corners, aren't there? They don't have to be hiding in trees to get us," Kabocha retorted, giving Choi a sharp look, "And if you really think we'll be hailed as heroes for kicking some butt then maybe we should go find someone to beat up, huh? Then we can get all the free food we want!" He wasn't even going to go into how flawed that logic was to him, the whole idea of putting down some baddies for a quick bite was absurd. Kai once again saw fit to become the voice of reason, or try to be anyways. Giving the other twin a glare at first Kabocha lifted his eyes upward, noticing there were a fair many more Kaesstrians above, some looking down at them all weird. Oh, so maybe it wasn't nearly as empty as he'd thought... Made sense. Getting red in the face he huffed and placed his hands on his hips, starting down the road to get into the city. "Yeah we're Saiyans, but our hands are tied because of the whole no-killing rule, plus we're not supposed to be fighting. Didn't Vegeta say something about keeping a low profile? Right now we're only Saiyans in name since we're not allowed to fight, so that means jack all as far as I'm concerned." Grumbling under his breath about being held back he threw his hands up in the air, getting in a bit of a tiff. "Aw forget it, let's just grab some food and go!"
It was a whole lot of fun even with the frustration, racing around in the trees like this. They never really did it before, not that they had a chance to, which was a shame.

Takeshi admitted this was much more enjoyable than he had initially expected, but if he said that aloud Shu would probably never let him hear the end of it. Either that or the little guy would be on about it even more. Fun though it may be they should really stop for a second seeing as T'charrl was down for some reason. Takeshi very nearly jumped to the conclusion that Haku had done something, noticing the other boy looming over their friend. But the Kaesstrian didn't look like he'd really been attacked, nor did Haku look like he'd just nailed someone. Okay, so did he trip then? Weird, the guy had seemed coordinated up until now, maybe he got distracted about something. Realizing Shu was coming back to check up on the others he followed suit, jumping across the trees to get closer. The pair looked to be talking something out, and something a bit touchy at that, so Takeshi kept back a little ways. He and Shu were more than close enough to help if need be, but there was no reason to go rushing in like someone's life was in danger.

He'd never known that T'charrl was so hard on himself, that he put so many expectations on himself. Maybe it was others doing that to him, Haku didn't really know his story all too well, it was obvious there was a lot of pressure placed on the alien. So that was one thing he couldn't quite relate to, he didn't have standards to live up to as he'd never exactly been given any. Wow, the Kaesstrian had a fairly abysmal outlook on their situation even though nothing was really wrong. Sure he wasn't back to his regular self, whatever that was, but who would spot them out here? They were in the middle of a massive forest, it wasn't as though they'd gone into the city itself. To his question Haku's face dropped a bit as he looked away, his lips forming a tight line. "They tried... Kind of. I was beaten by people who were supposed to be my allies because I was weak... So they've gotten close. Their excuse was because it would make me stronger, but it only made things worse. So again... I've been there, I know what it's like." Hm, they had more in common than he'd ever have guessed and they were absolutely nothing alike. One was a Prince, the other a lowly soldier, one at least had some kind of support and the other still thought himself alone. Sighing softly Haku squatted down before T'charrl, again trying to offer a slightly awkward smile to cheer him up. "No one's going to see you like this, that's why we're out here, right? So... Relax, uh... Because we're going to fix it. Shu and Takeshi know what they're doing, just leave it to them." And him, though he hadn't a clue what he could do to help, nor was he sure his help was even wanted. Heck he was probably wasting his breath here by talking to T'charrl. "I've got to ask... You changed before, on this planet, right? Did your parents or other family treat you badly then?"
