Shu didn’t know what he was supposed to feel right now, mainly because he really didn’t know what Viral was feeling himself to have a worry about him as much as everyone else. He really thought Viral was going to be fine because he saw him as strong and brave, but he did wonder whether he was being too naïve about this whole thing. He was worried, but he had more hope than doubt that Viral would never recover. Maybe if he kept up the positivity then Takeshi would feel more confident about his friend too, at least he hoped so. Giving Takeshi a little smile he slowly moved closer to him, nodding as Takeshi tried to understand his question. He couldn’t only want to fight him, there must had been more that he was looking forward to for when Viral was all better. Tilting his head a little as Takeshi continued to try and think of a reason he hiccupped when Takeshi finally decided to speak, tilting his head the other way before looking down at the floor as well as if checking to see what Takeshi was looking at. “Ooh. What will you do when he gets better? Will you ask for lessons? Will you make him feel happy? Won’t he need someone to talk to? Mister Vegeta is going to have his parents back and Miss Yumi is going to be with your friend a lot again, right? Who will talk to him? Will he remember us if his head is all funny…?”

T’charrl really didn’t want to be panicking since when he panicked he got scared and being scared and angry wasn’t a very good combination. He wished he’d moved faster when trying to find a way to get the spirit settled and find who it was before all this but instead he had to be stupid and go to places that really didn’t help it at all; sure, he knew what he had and that it wasn’t unique to him what had happened, but that didn’t help the spirit at all. It probably didn’t even know what he was doing considering it is never conscious when he was so all in all he had made very little progress. Rubbing his head as he walked around he tried to keep himself contained, not wanting to disappoint anyone before there was a sudden voice on the other side of his door. Jumping slightly he almost fell over completely, immediately reaching out to try and grab something before he managed to stabilise himself, standing up a little straighter. It sounded like Yumi but she barely ever wanted to chat with him, at least not like this. “Uhh! Y-Yes! Uhh yeah…I-I mean no! I don’t mind! You can come in…” He felt like an idiot for getting it all wrong and was probably just weirding her out, making him feel pretty stupid already. “I’m sorry…I’m still learning your language…”

Takeshi was hardly the best with words, and having Shu bombard him with all these personal questions had him a little on edge. Sure, he probably felt all kinds of things about Viral, and their other friends for that matter, but it didn't mean he was going to voice them. In a lot of cases he simply couldn't, it was almost impossible for him to get really sentimental or 'soft'. He could do it with Shu fair easily, but then he considered Shu to be a hell of a lot closer than even his friends, so that made it a little simpler. How in the world was he supposed to answer his brother's questions then when he really couldn't find the words for it? Looking at the younger boy he smiled exasperatedly, the corner of his mouth twitching as he tried to say what he wanted to. "I... I mean how am I supposed to make him feel happy? Does the guy even know how to be happy? Seriously, I've never seen him happy, not once since we've met. He's got pissed and more pissed, that's it. You ever see him smile because I sure as hell didn't," he began, rambling a bit, "I don't know who he'll talk to, why not them still. Or he can talk to us, that's cool too. But what would we talk about? He doesn't like me, or I don't think he does, or maybe he does, I don't know!" Letting out a soft groan Takeshi frazzled his own hair in frustration, leaning back before throwing his arms down at his sides. "Sheesh... I hope he remembers us... We've done a lot together, you know? Even if he wasn't happy it would suck for him to not remember any of it. I guess if... No... WHEN he's better you and I can do stuff with him, if he'll let us."

Yumi hoped she wasn't being intrusive by doing this, dropping in on T'charrl unannounced. They really hadn't done much together since meeting, not unless you counted sitting down and eating a meal. Did he even still think of her as a friend? Hopefully so, otherwise this may turn into an awkward visit. Knocking on the door she called through it hopefully, giving a small smile when she heard his reply. "Don't worry! You're doing really well with it," she replied, laughing as she opened up the door, "You've really improved actually, I almost thought I had my scouter on for a second. Glad to see you've been practicing!" Compared to the last time they really talked T'charrl was practically fluent by comparison, which was nice. It always felt a little unusual using the scouter to talk to a friend, and in a way it almost felt rude because you didn't really know what they were saying. Shutting the door behind herself Yumi folded her hands behind her back, smiling politely as she looked around the room. "You look like you're feeling better than before, am I right? How've you been today?"

Shu really hoped that Takeshi was going to find happiness in Viral being well again and not just want him to get better so he could fight, but he did have a feeling that Takeshi really did care about him. He just wanted to know, especially when the guy had been afflicted with a bad body for a while now. He wondered if his friend would gain control of his scary forms again too, but then again he doubted it when that must’ve been a different case completely. He didn’t have control in his own scary form and Viral only seemed to have control when he was planning on using it, but if they came about spontaneously because he was in dire trouble then he would probably have to run. It was a wonder to why Viral could do such things, knowing he was created rather than born. His friend was always going to be a mystery to him but he hoped not too much of a mystery if he happened to lose his memories again like he seemed to after killing Vegeta’s parents. “Mister Viral does feel happy. I see him happy, even if he sometimes frowns when happy”. Listening to Takeshi’s frustration over Viral he frowned a little, shifting on the spot. “Well, once he’s better they won’t need to watch him, yes? Not sure if Mister Viral likes people, but even kitties like company, yes?” He didn’t know what was going to happen once everything was fine but he would think Vegeta would want some quality time with his parents and Viral might keep his distance because of what he did to them. He certainly wouldn’t want to be near someone he hurt. Pressing his fingers together at Takeshi’s words he let out a sigh, lowering his head a little. “Yeah, just...remember when he said he lost his memory before? Maybe it happen again because he’s got a lot of bad memories in his head. Maybe we can…umm…go fishing with him too. Will you fight him when he better straight away?”

T’charrl had to force himself to calm down now that Yumi was wanting to speak to him, especially when every impression he had of her was just from other people. He didn’t think she’d want to talk to him but she seemed nice enough, just so long as he didn’t ruin it by changing or something stupid. Even if he was treating his condition as if it was something rude it really didn’t matter if he had limited control, it was still bad manners to make someone upset because he changed when he could prevent it from happening. Rubbing his arms nervously he stood with his knees facing inward, giving Yumi a nervous smile. “I-I’ve been trying! I’m a fast learner…” He did worry in part to whether he had only been able to learn fast was because of the spirit, but he really didn’t want to put everything on the spirit and make everything out to be dumb luck. Sighing lightly he looked around to his bed, half thinking he should sit down but didn’t want to seem rude too. “Uhh, I feel better…sort of. I mean, not today. I’m just having a bad time right now…uhh! N-Not because you’re here! I’m just-…I’m just going to stop…how have you been? Why are you here? N-Not because I don’t want you here! Just…I…ohh, I’m sorry I’m being rude…”

Shu could tell when Viral was happy, huh? Weird, Takeshi only ever saw the guy be grumpy or pissed, happy wasn't something in the Beastman's repertoire. Maybe he did get happy now and again and it was only when he was around that Viral seemed grumpy, which would kind of suck. He wasn't looking to be the Beastman's best friend or anything, but it wouldn't kill either of them to be a little friendly towards one another. Of course he was thinking all of this without considering the fact it could be his own behavior causing the problem, only thinking it was Viral's part that made it difficult. "Yeah, once he's all healthy no one is going to need to keep an eye on him, bet he'll love that. I mean seriously, can you imagine someone having to watch over you constantly? It'd be like getting babied, and the guy's older than us!" What was the deal with asking about memory anyways? Sure Viral was sick, but how was that going to lead to something like amnesia or memory loss? Tilting his head to the side confused Takeshi frowned as Shu elaborated some, starting to get an idea as to what the little guy meant. He hadn't thought about that before, but now that he was he could definitely see it being a problem. "I wonder if Vegeta thought about that too... It'd really suck if he loses his memory, you know? I mean he'd forget a ton of bad stuff, which is good I guess, but he'd forget some of the good too. And no, I won't fight him right when he gets better, you crazy? He won't be healthy right away, he's gotta recover."

"I can definitely tell, you're practically fluent now! Color me impressed T'charrl, you're really good at this," Yumi said with a smile, "Heck, you keep this up and we can even teach you another language after!" There were more than one languages spoken on Earth, and while it probably wouldn't be useful anywhere but there maybe he'd want to try it. Learning the languages seemed to be fun for T'charrl, so if they could offer more for him they should. Watching curiously as her friend seemed to be a little uneasy she waited patiently for him to talk, confused as to why he was stumbling over himself so much. Sure she didn't come around all that often, but did it really warrant her causing this kind of reaction? Or maybe it was something else entirely, she shouldn't assume this was her doing. Letting out a laugh Yumi shook her head, walking around the room a bit as she examined parts of it curiously. "I'm fine, just been busy with Viral is all. Things with him have been... Difficult, especially now with all of this, but I'm trying to stay optimistic about it." Not wanting to bring the mood down in the room she looked back at her friend, smiling warmly as she raised her arms over her head in a stretch. "Relax, I'm not going to bite you T'charrl. What are you having a bad time with anyways? If it's okay I'll talk with you about it, I don't mind. Anything you need to get off your chest?" she asked, her eyes going to the orbs before smiling sheepishly, "Uh... Bad phrasing there, sorry. Anything you want to talk about?"

It wasn’t hard to tell what someone was feeling when they were expressing it in their body language, but it seemed the others weren’t very good at doing that. Shu often saw how Viral was acting and how it wasn’t a case of him being grumpy and not wanting others. He always looked like he didn’t think he belonged, like watching as everyone else had fun talking while you just stood back and watched them. Feeling like that all the time would make anyone feel terrible about being dragged along and not have much to do other than stand around. Shu knew what it was like to feel excluded but he was willing to try and shove himself in and be a part of the group through learning. Tilting his head a little he let out a sigh, nodding quickly. “Mister Viral wouldn’t like that. He likes being strong, but he’s not strong anymore. It must be sad not to be included in fighting when fighting is best fun”. It was probably going to be an extra grumpy Viral they would be dealing with, but Shu could tell their friend would just be sad over not being included. “Maybe…should we ask Mister Vegeta? Then again would he want to talk about it? I wouldn’t want to talk about it if I was him, but he shouldn’t hide what might be. You might be too excited to fight him, though! Would you fight Father if he not feeling well?”

T’charrl gave Yumi a little smile, looking to the floor in slight embarrassment. He was sure he could learn more after all of this but he still wondered if he was taking advantage of an unknown force, something he shouldn’t be doing if he was able to avoid it. “I would really like to learn a lot about everything I can…that would be great”. He really needed to get a hold of himself before he ended up making a fool of himself, something which seemed to happen pretty often when he wasn’t able to fully concentrate, slowly giving his head a rub as Yumi laughed at him he sighed lightly, looking away. “He was just…trying to protect the ship from the rebels…is all…” Their friend would’ve probably been fine if it wasn’t for his people, but that was something he couldn’t control even if he tried. Trying to shake off the awful thoughts going through his head he looked to Yumi when she asked about him, looking down at himself quickly before rubbing at the orb on his chest. He didn’t know if he should burden her with his problems when they were pretty complicated, at least he thought they probably were when he was the one with the problems that were related to who he is and what he was. “I…just…ohh, I know I shouldn’t be thinking about all this. I am supposed to be keeping a clear head, but it’s really hard. I just keep thinking about my condition and how stupid I’m being with it”, he frowned as he rubbed at his arms, feeling rather uneasy, “All the work to try and get it solved and all I got was the name and what it does. I didn’t get anything done! Kept chasing dead leads…but…do I want rid of them? I don’t know if I want them or not, but then what the General said…ohh, am I no better than him?”

"I can sympathize with the guy there. There's been a few times where I felt like I couldn't fight or do anything, and it sucks. You just feel so useless and it makes you really bummed, I guess that's how Viral must feel." That was how he'd felt for a good portion of their time stuck with their father. Takeshi had wanted so desperately to free his brother, even if they still had to remain under their dad's overbearing self. Viral too for that matter, even if life then had preoccupied him a bit to the point where the Beastman had become an occasional thought. Jeez, did that upset the guy too? Viral didn't seem to care for him but maybe he had a bigger impact than he thought. Looking over at Shu he smiled slightly, giving a shake of his head before letting out a sigh, "Nah, we shouldn't bother Vegeta, he's got a lot to worry about... Where the hell does dad work into all of this? Kind of random there squirt," Takeshi said, smiling faintly as he shrugged, "If father was nearby... I'd fight him, yeah. But it wouldn't be a friendly sparring match, you know? After all he did some pretty crappy stuff to us. Speaking of which..." It was just him and Shu now, and things were relatively relaxed at least for them. The topic of Shu's problems was one that was a bit taboo, but the longer they put off discussing it the worse things might become. Looking at the younger boy he reached over, putting an arm around his shoulders and giving his hair a gentle ruffle. "Let's talk about it. I know you don't want to but we've gotta sooner or later. Still been having trouble sleeping, yeah?"

Yumi was fair down about Viral's condition, but she wasn't going to bring those problems here with her. It wouldn't be fair to T'charrl if she started lamenting about her friend, especially not when he seemed to be strung up a bit himself. There had been a lot going on back on Kaesstra from her understanding, and she wondered whether or not that may be the cause of her friend's unease right now. It was practically pouring off of him at this point, if the sensation were any stronger she could probably smell it. Hearing T'charrl out she frowned as he called himself stupid, already not liking how he was thinking. "Okay, for starters you're not stupid, don't ever say that. Stupid people don't learn an alien language and become fluent in a month, or learn how to do things that no one of their kind has ever done before. And all that aside you're a bright kid, so don't call yourself dumb." She was a little annoyed, more at the fact he was putting himself down than anything. Putting her hands on her hips she tilted her head to the side some, biting her lip for a second as she thought about his question. "I don't know... Do you want to get rid of them? Look... We can't tell you what you do and don't want, but we can try and help you figure it out. I think you're plenty strong on your own, but at the same time you've shown you can control the power most of the time. A little more work and it'll be like second nature to you, and then you'll be able to use it as easily as we use Ki." She didn't know the particulars of what T'charrl was talking about, nor that he could even rid himself of the powers; what would happen to him anyways if he got rid of the spirit? Would he be okay after that? "As for the General..." Yumi continued, smiling as she walked over and, getting on her toes, reached up and gave T'charrl's head a pat, "You're a good kid like I said, and no power is going to change that. You'll always do what's right, I know you will, so no, you're not as bad as him. You're leagues better than he is."

Shu knew how Viral felt because he often felt it when he was growing up and could tell from his body language that he didn’t feel included. He did see Viral as a team player, even their father saw it since they put him in a position of leadership when he took control of his friend’s mind. “Uh huh. Mister Viral would not feel too good too. He like fighting, but no get to fight. Not sure what Mister Viral likes to do because he never gets to do anything he wants”. It seemed fairly simple but whether Viral would want to say what he likes to do was definitely a question he had to ask their friend, so long as he got better that is. He didn’t know how Viral was doing but he hoped it wasn’t worse or he would be pretty upset. He did wonder what Namek was like, but he was more concerned for his friend than that. Looking to Takeshi he gave a little smile when he explained his reasoning for fighting their father even if he was possibly ill himself. He thought it was strange logic, but then again it might be easy to fake an illness while Viral’s illness was very visible. Sighing a little he frowned when the topic seemed to turn to him, raising his shoulders when he was pulled in, letting out a squeak when his hair was ruffled. He didn’t really want to talk about that stuff but there wasn’t really a way to get out of it either. Staring at Takeshi he frowned, pressing his fingers together before he let out a light sigh, looking away. “Maybe a little. It’s no big deal, though. I mean…I’m not screaming anymore…”

T’charrl didn’t want to seem selfish, it was the reason he had hid away in his room in the first place. Everybody else had their own problems to worry about and they didn’t need to be a part of them if they didn’t want to. If Yumi had simply come in to talk to him about random things then he was being incredibly selfish by getting her involved in this kind of stuff that was all about him. Frowning when she told him off for calling himself stupid he pulled at one of his antennae, slowly stroking it as he looked away. “Sorry…” he mumbled, staring down at the floor. He didn’t want to make her angry by calling himself such things, but he really did feel like an idiot when he had no actual clue to what he was supposed to do for the good of himself and everyone else. Looking to her a little he frowned slightly, not finding a clear picture quite yet to what he was supposed to do. There wasn’t a lot he could do now that he was back in Space again, but he wasn’t going to blame anybody but himself for not trying to figure it out fast enough. “I just-…I don’t know…I’m so confused…” It was the same feeling as being lost in the forest with nowhere to go, just either one way or the other and neither were correct, just a distraction from the right path. Pulling at his antennae he gasped a little when Yumi walked up to him, staring at her before raising his shoulders as she patted his head. Staring at her as she spoke he looked down at himself, shuffling his feet slightly. “I hope you’re right about that. My people have never really been good at controlling our desire to fight and I don’t know if I’m capable of going mad like the General…” he spoke lightly before looking to her, giving her a nervous smile, “Thank you for believing in me, though. I wish I could figure it out somehow, I just don’t know where to start. I’m just scared, I guess…” Frowning into a sigh he soon twitched, looking to Yumi. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t talk so much about myself! I don’t even know much about you…”

"Well we can always ask the guy what he wants to do when he's better, yeah? I mean... We like fighting, but it's not all we do. There's got to be some other things that he enjoys. The guy does seem to like being outside a lot, maybe he'd want to go camping? Or just go for a hike or something, you know?" Maybe there was stuff they weren't even considering, perhaps some stuff that were way out in left field. Takeshi tried to picture Viral doing something a bit off like knitting, breaking into a smile as he snorted slightly at the image. Or maybe painting, Viral sure did come across as the artsy type. They could probably talk about Viral for some time but there was something else on his mind that he wanted to discuss with Shu, something just as important. The little guy had his own fair share of demons in his closet and they were being kept under lock and key, but was it really healthy to do that? Like it or not they had to talk about it, and now was a good a time as any. Putting an arm around his little brother he asked an innocent enough question, one that Shu should have no problem answering. Right away it became obvious Shu didn't want to talk about it, but they had to. "It is too a big deal buddy. Stuff happened to you and we can't just pretend it didn't, it doesn't work that way. Sure the screaming is gone but everything else is still there." Letting out a sigh of his own Takeshi took his arm from around Shu, standing up and in front of the younger boy. Leaning over he smirked some, reaching out and playfully poking him in the nose. "Look, we'll talk, ok? But we'll only talk until it's really hard to, then we can go play to make you feel better. Deal?"

Yumi could see T'charrl wasn't going to be easy to help, but she had to try and do something. Everyone in their group had some sort of problem as of late and it fell to everyone to help one another out, so that was what she was doing here. Sure she might not have any real sort of training for this thing but sometimes just a good heart to heart worked, you didn't need some certificate. "Your people like to fight? Uh, hello, have you met our friends? They're all Saiyans!" she remarked, giggling before smiling, "I love to fight too, there's nothing wrong with that. And the General... He went mad because he couldn't handle it, that's what I think. You can though, you have been this whole time. And even when you slip up we're there to catch you and get you back on your feet, so don't worry, nothing bad will happen to you." Even with her trying to positively reinforce T'charrl he still sounded a bit upset, apparently because he was feeling bad for talking about his problems. That wasn't good at all either, he had to be okay with talking like this when he had an issue. Maybe it was just a guy thing, she always knew men tried to put on some bravado and play off their problems. Smiling exasperatedly she lifted one hand and held a finger in T'charrl's face, reaching up then and pulling him down carefully, her arms around his neck as he gave her a hug. She didn't mind what he was like Takeshi did, actually letting out a small laugh as her friend's hair tickled her neck. "We can talk about me later, right now you're the star. Like I said, if you've got problems we'll talk about those, I want to help. So is that what's worrying you, that you might turn into some psycho like the General did?" Yumi asked, letting go as she folded her hands behind her back again, "Because you won't, and no one thinks you will. I've talked with other people about you and not a single person worries about what you might become, we're all confident you'll always be you, no matter what. Those times you change aren't what makes you you, that's like saying when Shu changes he's a monster because of it, but he's not. And you're not either."

Shu gave Takeshi a little nod but he didn’t particularly want to talk about himself when there were other things to think about. His logic was the less he thought about it the less it bothered him, but he was not entirely sure whether it was a good idea to talk about stuff that really did bother him a lot whenever he was asleep. He tried not to think about the stuff before he went to bed but it always happened and it always made him jumpy or feel sore after waking up. He was sure it was because he was dumbed down when he was experimented on so everything was left in his subconscious. He didn’t know how to talk about a lot of the stuff other than treating them like memories. Feeling a little worried over talking about it he looked down to the floor before watching Takeshi stand up, his eyes following his finger to his nose. “I guess so…I just hate talking about it”, he sighed, rubbing his nose, “It’s just so hard. I don’t like talking about it because it makes me feel funny. They made my head hurt really bad, always pulling my tail, or it felt like they were…I don’t know what they were doing…everything was hard to see”.

T’charrl was hoping to get over it by himself, but then again if Yumi didn’t come along he probably would’ve changed out of sheer stress. He was scared of changing and everyone being disappointed in him because he couldn’t control himself. Even if they said they weren’t disappointed it always came out that they were in his mind. Staring at her as she spoke he lowered his gaze a little as he thought through her words, thinking through them. “I have…been trying...” he muttered, feeling a little better as he continued to find reinforcement. She was right; they always had been there for him and never abandoned him when things got bad, even that time when Takeshi fainted he still talked to him after whatever happened. Maybe he wasn’t as lost as he thought he was but there was still that problem with actually knowing what to do with his power. If he didn’t know whether he was wanting to keep it or not because it made him more powerful then what was he supposed to do. Finding it a little hard to think through it all he looked back to Yumi as she raised a finger to his face, staring at it before gasping as she actually pulled him into a hug. Nobody ever wanted to touch him, especially her considering the last time she did she dropped him in fright. Still feeling surprised he stared out for a moment, standing straight again when she let go. Tapping his claws together he shuffled his foot a little, giving her a smile. “Thanks…really. I guess I’m just scared of everyone becoming too afraid to touch me or speak to me. They really did say that?” he asked up before sighing lightly, shaking his head, “I just wish the King I visited didn’t call the form a monster when he told me what happened to another man like me. Shu isn’t a monster, his seems more natural, while mine is just…not. My biggest fear is I lose my mind again like before, but I can’t find it again. Something happened to me before and Takeshi, Shu or Haku won’t tell me what happened. I can’t remember what happened, but it was enough for Takeshi to faint…”

Takeshi wasn't getting very much out of Shu, and he expected that, but they needed to talk about this. Like it or not the little guy had a very real problem, and avoiding the topic wasn't going to make things any better. Sure, one could hope that with time it would just go away and things would be fine but chances were that wouldn't happen. What should he even be asking his brother about though? Recounting exactly what had been done wasn't going to be easy, and yet maybe that was what had to be done. Even if Takeshi did know the exact details what was he to do with it then? He'd no idea how to use it, nor how to apply anything to it to make the problems go away; Of everyone in their group only Vegeta could help someone, with Yumi perhaps a close second. "I know you hate talking about it buddy, but we need to. You'll feel better if we figure all this out, right? So we should do that, then you don't have to be upset anymore." Giving a sympathetic smile Takeshi stood upright, letting out a sigh as he rubbed at his head and started pacing a bit in the room. If he was going to ask what had happened then he really should be ready to try helping Shu relax, but how? It really wasn't something he wanted to make up as they went along and yet he hadn't a clue what to even start with. "When you have bad dreams what's in them? Are people in your dreams doing the same thing to you? Or... How about this... What about it all scares you the most? Is it them holding you?" He could recall a few instances he'd grabbed Shu only to have the little guy freak out on him, so that right there was a definite giveaway. Now what was it about that which freaked him out so bad?

"Of course they did, I wouldn't lie about something like that. I'll be honest, some people were spooked when you did change but that hasn't made any of us like or trust you any less. Things happen, some things we can't control, so we just take them in stride and keep going. None of us fear Shu even though he can change so none of us fear you either." Their opinion on someone one moment could change drastically given a sudden change, but like the change itself those feelings were fleeting. Just as they as friends could be angry with one another, disagree or be annoyed that didn't mean they disliked one another, it just meant there was a small bump in the road. Looking up at T'charrl while he shared his visit with a King, Yumi frowned slightly and shook her head, waving a hand dismissively on the matter. "The way I understand that is this person before you was a monster, I don't think he was saying you're a monster. Look at it this way... All Saiyans can change into some kind of ape, and some are really nasty when they do and others are okay. Thinking you're a monster because someone else was is like clumping everyone together, but we're not doing that and neither should you. What someone was before doesn't define who you are as a person, understand?" Hearing about Takeshi made her burst out into a laugh, hastily covering her mouth to suppress it as she giggled inaudibly behind her palm instead. Now that was funny, she'd never heard about that before. She knew about his... Phobia, but had never really seen it in play too much. "For how tough he always acts he's kind of a softie I think. Sure, maybe he's a little dim sometimes, and he's got a little anger issues but I think his heart is in the right place. He's way better than he was when we met though, and I can tell he does like you, even if he might be a bit scared sometimes."

Shu really hated talking about this sort of stuff, especially when other bad things was going on at the same time. He didn’t like getting upset so easily and this was definitely going to easily make him upset. If Takeshi was going to know anything then maybe he shouldn’t tell him the really bad stuff that he could remember, at least before they warped his mind and started to play around with his unique form and trying to get that out of him. They really wanted to make him change to control him and would try to achieve that with any way possible. A lot of the stuff he couldn’t remember, but he definitely felt terrible after waking up from such procedures. Shifting on the floor uncomfortably he pulled his feet together, looking away from Takeshi. He certainly wasn’t feeling better after saying only a few things, even if they were particularly mild out of the list of other things he experienced. Keeping his eyes off him he eventually looked back to Takeshi, taking hold of his tail for comfort. “Scares me the most…? Not being able to breathe…” he mumbled, shutting his eyes tight for a moment, “Squeezing me all tight, try and make me change…wrap me up in metal to stop me from moving so they poke me with needles…it hurt! It hurt a lot! Choking and squeezing and breaking…ah! No! I don’t like that! No know how to stop bad mind!”

T’charrl didn’t know if there was supposed to be a way to stop people from being so scared of him when he barely knew what he looked like when he changed, all except knowing he was large and growled a lot with big claws for hands. His vision often changed into something akin to pure anger and often shades of madness, but maybe that’s what they saw in him too and it made them terribly afraid that he might take it out on them. “Hmm, it would be nice too if I could believe it myself, even if it is true”, he spoke calmly, laughing a little nervously, “I-I mean, they barely want to touch me and when they do they always wipe themselves as if I’m dirty or something”. He didn’t really know what they were thinking when they did that but he always figured it was some sort of fear with only Shu not really reacting, but then again the kid did live in the wild for a long time. Staring at Yumi he blinked a few times, trying to figure out what an ‘ape’ was but was understanding what she meant. Maybe he was just being stupid, but then again Yumi wasn’t allowing himself to call himself stupid so it was a little difficult to think around that mindset. He was possibly worrying about nothing, even if that nothing always threatened to make him change and pull him away from his friends that didn’t like touching him. Sighing a little he flinched when she laughed at his worries, moving his feet back a touch. He didn’t know what that had to do with worries but should probably run with it out of politeness. “Uhh, yeah…he did travel around with me when we were out so I suppose you’re right there. It’s awfully difficult to get a read on how they feel when I can feel one emotion from them but they’re expressing a different one. I guess…I guess I just wish I knew what they’re really feeling and what they’re hiding from me”. He didn’t know if he was sounding rude or paranoid but all these hidden feelings and deceptive expressions really confused him, only hoping that he really wasn’t a monster in their eyes when he changed. “I’m not a monster, but…I am…something. It’s unnatural, not something we should had discovered and it nearly killed me. Is it even a benefit that it happens to me or is it a burden I should get rid of? Do I want to risk people fearing me, those who don’t know me? What do you think…? What do you think it is? What would you call my changes, everything I turn into?”

Maybe if they got the worst of the stuff out then that would help Shu. Get it off your chest, that sort of thing, would that even work here? Takeshi wasn't sure, but trying that much was more than they had done with it lately. He figured Shu would give him a little reply but instead his brother started getting almost hysterical, way more so than he'd expected. Looking at Shu worriedly the older boy frowned, having no idea what he should do to try and help him calm down. Shifting uncomfortably on his feet Takeshi reached out and put his hands on Shu's shoulders, squatting down so he came eye to eye with his sibling. "Shu, no one's going to do that to you anymore, you're safe now. No one's hurting you or poking you with needles, I promise." Crap, that wasn't going to cut it was it? What more could he do though, he didn't know how to handle this. Biting his lip uncertainly Takeshi leaned in and gave his brother a hug, probably a bad idea considering the little guy was fussing about being held and wrapped up. Still, it was the only thing he could really think of doing so he hoped it would do some good. Damn, should he go try asking for some help with this? No one was really available right now but he was sure if he came knocking for Shu someone was bound to agree, everyone wanted to help him. Letting go of his brother he smiled at him sadly, placing a hand on his head instead and giving his hair a light ruffling. "So is that what bothers you at night...? What if we slept somewhere more open than our room, would that help? Maybe like one of the training rooms?" Even to his untrained self it sounded like Shu hated being closed up, so the obvious answer there was to give him plenty of space to move around.

"If they're wiping themselves off I can only guess it's because of those flakes," Yumi mused, pointing to herself now being covered in little bits here and there. With a smile she shrugged her shoulders, lifting one arm and blowing a few off and watching as they floated away. "Don't take it personally if they wipe them off, it's nothing bad really. It would be like if someone's hair was on you, you'd just wipe it off because you wouldn't want that sticking all over you. It doesn't mean that the person doesn't like you or is disgusted or anything, it's just kind of a natural response to it." She didn't quite know how to explain it other than that, but in her mind that's how it was. It wasn't so much she hated being covered by T'charrl's scales as it was just knowing there was something on her and having a sort of innate want to brush it off. Maybe it was wanting to feel clean, something that having those dust bits or scales, whatever they were all over you made hard to do. Giving herself a small brushing off to that end Yumi glanced back at her friend, smiling sympathetically as he spoke about emotions. "I can kind of sense what others feel too, I guess, and I've noticed they hide some sometimes. The way I see it is they're just trying to protect others by covering them up, they don't want others to get upset. Sometimes we think or feel things that might hurt other people but we keep them to ourselves for the sake of others, right? I know you can understand that." She hid anger or annoyance fair often for instance, favoring to be a bit more patient and compassionate with others. It was easy to fly off the handle when someone did something a bit daft or foolish but she wouldn't help anyone with that. Nor would she help if she caused a fuss any time something remotely bothered her. A slew of questions came then, all about the power and what it brought about. While Yumi may not feel really qualified to answer them she'd try, if only for T'charrl's sake. "Well... People might fear you because you're strong, but when they get to know you they'll warm up. Sometimes you can't help but have people be uneasy, though you can change how they think with some time. I guess if I had to call your changes something... I'd say it's another power you haven't mastered yet," she concluded, putting a hand on her chin as she gave a nod, "Viral is the same way, or was. He has all sorts of different forms and until recently had little or no control, but now he can control them. I think if you want to keep this power you can learn to control it too, just like you learned Ki and your own powers."

Shu really didn’t like talking about any of this stuff, finding it all to be way too hard to recall when it just meant trying to recall pain. It all probably didn’t sound as bad as he was making it out to be but the sessions where they’d try to force it out of him often involved a lot of crushing pains and being unable to breathe. He often suffered broken bones but it wasn’t often that they’d give him full treatment after when it meant he was just going to get stronger with each hardship faced. Even if he was one of the King’s sons they weren’t interested in making him stronger, just more concerned with getting his other self to show up so they could experiment on that instead. It only brought him bad memories of forced anger and mauling of many soldiers that tried to capture him and hold him down for experimentation. Feeling all shaken just from recalling those memories he tried to make the memories go away, getting all shaky before Takeshi immediately put his hands on his shoulders, his eyes immediately going up to Takeshi before looking away, rubbing his hands together nervously. “I know. I know! I know…” He didn’t know how to calm himself down, especially when his ribs were feeling sore just from thinking about it. Getting all scared again he squeaked when Takeshi brought him in for a hug, feeling a little frightened but certainly not enough to start squirming all over the place too. Sighing when Takeshi let him go he raised his shoulders when his hair was ruffled up, looking up at him with a little frown. “Maybe…? I don’t know, wouldn’t it be cold? You won’t be comfy either…”

T’charrl frowned at the reasoning for people not wanting to touch him, looking down himself before rubbing his arms quickly. It wasn’t something he could control and he was already sensitive about it, but knowing that people didn’t like touching him because of his nervous problem it made him feel bad for wishing for such interactions in the first place. “I-I’m sorry! I’m sorry…i-it’s a nervous condition! It doesn’t help I’m covered in fur either…” It certainly made him feel bad that he was constantly coating his friends in dust, but now he was also worried that he was leaving it around in places where they might sit down or rest only to annoy them later by getting them covered in it. Looking around his room as if looking for the dust his eyes soon went back to Yumi, sighing a little. “It’s a natural trait of my species. I just wish they wouldn’t hide it. It doesn’t help that I take in their emotional energy in Space because there’s no other natural sources of energy. Even if they don’t realise, it’s hurting my growth…”He was feeling confused to what he really wanted out of everyone now, generally feeling it was best to keep his distance from them if he didn’t want to gross them out or to take in too much negative energy. He really wanted social interaction so he probably would like to talk to them if they wanted to interact with him. He was certainly feeling confused over his true desires, but he definitely didn’t want to cause a lot of problems for his friends by being disgusting. Sighing he gave a brief nod, understanding what Yumi was saying even if he didn’t like it. “I haven’t mastered a lot yet. I never did get the training I needed back home”, he nodded, frowning when Viral was mentioned. He saw the problems he faced and definitely didn’t wish for it himself. She didn’t really answer his question but then again it was probably asking too much from her when it was his power. “I guess so. I know they’re useful, it’s just…it’s the pain that’s maddening, the anger too. The healing is certainly handy, even if I can’t heal myself…I guess I just don’t know what I want, whether I want to keep it and use its strengths or abandon it because I’m a coward”.

Okay, things were really crappy when even a hug was enough to spook someone. Was Shu's problem just having a fear of being held? Or held down maybe in this case, going by what they had done in the palace. That's what it sounded like anyways, albeit Takeshi knew he was probably way off the mark and totally wrong more likely than not. The only thing that he could figure might help his brother was get him into a more open room, maybe then he wouldn't feel so boxed in or whatever. With all the sleeping quarters being about the same size the only thing then he could figure was re-purposing one of the larger rooms, like one of the training halls, and turning it into a bedroom. There had to be enough available rooms, it wasn't as if they used all of them after all. "We could bring some beds down with us, and whatever else you want. As for being cold... Nah, we can get it heated up I'm sure! We just have to figure out how to do it, or ask one of the guys in the control room, yeah? I mean it would be silly if we couldn't warm up a room, you know? If we do that then we have all the space we could need." With all that was going on with everyone else Takeshi doubted they'd get much help in that regard, and Shu probably wouldn't be able to do a whole lot which left him to do it all. Smiling slightly at the thought he let out a sigh, rubbing his head as he closed his eyes. "Here... Let's try this... When the bad memories come up what helps to stop them? Have you found anything that helps?" he asked, opening his eyes and giving his brother a curious glance, "I know you sometimes crawl into my bed, does that help?"

"This is why I didn't want to say anything... It's not that we're even disgusted by it or anything, please don't misunderstand. It's just... I don't know how to explain it, but you get something on you and you just brush it off, almost habitually. With the exception maybe of Takeshi anyone else doing it is just doing it because it's there, understand? I really don't know how to put it otherwise." There was a slight itchiness to it as well when the scales were on one's skin too, but having them on clothes wasn't a big deal. Odd that it was a nervousness thing too, she'd never heard of anything like that. Maybe she should try helping T'charrl relax then? Smiling sympathetically at her friend Yumi placed a hand on his arm, trying to help convey a sense of relaxation even if she still had no idea how to do it; was willing someone to feel a certain way all she needed, or did she herself need to feel it? "But we can always go back to Kaesstra again, right? None of us are doing anything and we all love your world, so I don't imagine anyone will mind going back again. When we do go back too Viral will be better, so he can enjoy it with the rest of us for a change." Oops, there she went bringing it back to Viral again, even when she was trying not to. Smiling apologetically at that Yumi tilted her head a bit when T'charrl called himself a coward, letting out a soft sigh before shaking her head. "You aren't a coward, and there's nothing wrong with being intimidated by something new. When I was learning Ki I was afraid of what I might do with it to be honest, I'd never thought I'd be flying around or shooting lasers out of my hands," she recounted, letting out a laugh, "But I practiced a lot and now I can use it well, and I don't worry about that anymore. I know our situations are different, but I also know how you feel. If you want to keep it but you're afraid then just practice, practice until you're not afraid of it anymore. If we have to go back to Kaesstra to do that then fine, we will. As for the pain... Maybe that will go away with practice too? We won't know unless we try."

Shu didn’t really want to talk about this anymore even if Takeshi might want him to talk a lot. He was sure he was not able to resolve it this way even if he tried, but he was still willing to show it wasn’t going to happen even if he did will it to be so. He was always going to be scared about revisiting these memories, but it wasn’t as if he was going to be able to find a way to get rid of them if he was openly talking about them and be reminded that they happened. Feeling pretty terrible and jumpy he stared up at Takeshi with a frown, rubbing his hands together quickly as he searched for a solution. The biggest problem he found when trying to sleep was feeling cold, but he was sure there were other problems that he hadn’t quite thought about yet. “Really…? But….wouldn’t it get really dark too? Big empty and dark…” he mumbled, feeling a little lost to what he wanted. He didn’t think it wasn’t worth trying out a bigger room but he was still worried that it might cause further problems too. He curled up when he slept and the thought of being out in the wide open just brought out the survival instincts in him to find cover. Certainly finding it hard to figure his way around this all himself he looked to Takeshi, staring at him as he spoke, tilting his hea a little before he looked down at his hands. “It does help, but then you wouldn’t get sleep. I don’t want to make you not get sleep too…” he sighed, glancing back up at him, “I really like cuddles! I feel safe, all cuddly and safe…”

T’charrl knew Yumi meant well but if there was something bothering others about him then he would still step aside and try to not bother them with it. He was pretty sure he was going to end up alienating himself further with his actions, but the comfort of his friends was his priority. It shouldn’t matter if he was going to be uncomfortable if he knew others didn’t like getting his dust all over them. “I know, I know…I’m still sorry. I mean…I don’t even know if my dust is dangerous yet. Doesn’t help my wings give off the most…”If someone was to break out in a rash then that was just going to be even worse, but luckily nobody had yet. Feeling a little itchy himself he rubbed his arms with a sigh, gasping a little when Yumi decided to touch him again. Looking to her hand quickly he frowned, looking back to her with a sad smile. She was trying to help him and for that he was thankful, but he didn’t want her getting uncomfortable too. “We’ve got to fight those Saiyan aliens too though, right? That’s the most important plan right now. I have the, uhh, connection thing to my family too”. He certainly didn’t want to hurt his friend’s plans just because he was feeling uncomfortable, especially when it was something he’d probably get over anyway. Staring at Yumi as she spoke about her experience with Ki he smiled when she laughed, looking like he was trying to imagine it happening. It was probably for the best that he kept it, but he did have some problems with his current situation as well when it came down to it. “I might always be afraid of it, but I will try…” he sighed, giving a little nod, “I just can’t get over some parts of it…like how it feels like it’s going to happen suddenly and I can’t do anything about it. Then there’s the spirit and how uncomfortable it must be…I mean, it can’t even do anything unless my mind isn’t clear. It must be depressing…”

"I mean... It'd only get dark if we didn't have lights. There's lights in the room already, yeah? And we can always bring down some lamps and stuff, that'll brighten it up. And we can find a ton of furniture to put in the room if you don't want it to be empty, or toys, whatever you want." The more they went into this idea the more Takeshi realized it was a pretty stupid one. They could get rid of Shu's claustrophobia in their current room too, just lose one or two pieces of furniture and it'd seem more open. Except just by hearing what Shu had to say it wasn't like he really even wanted a more open space either, so what did he need? So far the only thing he could really offer his brother was letting him into his bed after a bad dream, but Shu had a point there too; climbing into bed in the dead of night often woke Takeshi up and he'd have trouble getting back to bed after, being too busy consoling his sibling. "Cuddles, huh? I can do that much," the older boy said, smiling as he gave a little nod. Or he thought he could, how exactly was someone supposed to cuddle another? Looking at Shu thoughtfully for a second he took a seat back at his brother's side, putting an arm around his shoulders and pulling him up against his side. This was kind of cuddling, wasn't it? Or more like a hug, but those were one in the same far as he knew.

Yumi figured she'd best just drop the scale talk altogether, seeing that there was no way she could put a positive spin on it. She really didn't mind it all that much, and even for those who might it was hardly a make or break habit. That was something she was noticing with T'charrl, he seemed to think that it only took one little mishap, one bad habit to make them all dislike him. It could be that he didn't have friends besides them really, and that could be making him overly cautious; T'charrl worried about the little things too much, he really needed to relax a bit. Giving a sad smile Yumi nodded her head a little, walking over to one of the dressers and idly toying with the knob on a drawer. "Again... I know what you're talking about. I guess I can change too, though I don't remember doing it. From what Vegeta and Viral both told me though I can go a little nuts sometimes, but they're not treating me any different for it. All the same though I never know what brings it on, or when it might happen, so I kind of feel a little uneasy sometimes too. You know what though?" she paused, turning back around and giving T'charrl a smile, "I'm in control 99% of the time, and I don't let that occasional hiccup make me feel like a monster all the time, and neither should you. Everyone's got something about themselves they're not crazy about, but that one thing doesn't make you who you are, right? As for the spirit... I can't say. But really, how much does a spirit do on its own anyways? I bet all the traveling you're doing has been fun for it, you're showing it all sorts of things it might not have seen otherwise. Kind of like a second lease on life in a way."

Shu stared up at Takeshi, not too confident that it would help. It was rather difficult to get to sleep when it was pretty bright so that would be a big problem for the pair of them, especially if they turned in the dark and a light shone in their face. He was pretty worried that he would make Takeshi upset by keeping him up with the lights, even if he did sometimes wake him up anyway whenever he had a bad dream. “Toys…? But then what do we do if we want to train…? Go to other room? Seems hard…” He wasn’t trying to make excuses but he didn’t want to make anybody angry by not sleeping in the typical rooms when he was just having some bad dreams. He was scared that people would get angry at him for taking up room that he didn’t need to be in. Not really feeling too sure to how he was supposed to help this nightmares he stared at Takeshi with a frown, feeling just as confused as anybody else regarding how to fix them. “I like cuddles, they make me feel better…” Pressing his fingers together as he watched Takeshi he squeaked a little when he was suddenly pulled in, almost falling over into him when Takeshi attempted to give him a cuddle, or at least he thought that’s what it was. Staring up at him for a moment he sighed a little, shaking his head. “I don’t think this is helping, even if it is nice…” he sighed, wiggling to try and sit up properly, “I like it, but it’s not feeling like it’ll help. Maybe it’s a waste of time talking about this stuff. I don’t feel any better for it…”

T’charrl should probably try harder to get people to talk to him and want to be around him, especially when he was the only alien of his kind of the ship. There were other aliens besides them, but they were workers and had friends of their own. He needed to cut out the bad habits first, however he was supposed to do that. He always had a problem making friends so he didn’t have the experience they all probably did. Watching Yumi he gave his neck a slow rub, tilting it slightly before giving his claws a look at as if checking for dust himself. He didn’t think Yumi had any problems even when telling him about them, but then again he never really saw her battle if at all. Feeling a little silly when everyone’s habits weren’t really known to him. “I guess so. I don’t know about you, but becoming a big slobbering beast is a little hard to admit is a part of me. It makes me scared, especially when I am already the mo-uhh…that thing. It’s hard to admit that it’s just a little problem, I guess…” he sighed, “Maybe it likes the travelling, but I can never ask. It don’t even think it shows itself when it can all that much to ask it. I guess my biggest worry is hurting it in some way. Just because it’s a spirit doesn’t mean it can’t feel pain or have its feelings hurt. It was once a person itself before ascending, after all…”

"There's more than one training room, we can just take another one to train in, you know? Though... I don't know, that would mean we'd have to move all the equipment too, huh...?" So maybe not as good an idea as he'd thought in hindsight, perhaps they were best to forget it altogether. Okay then, so if that wasn't going to cut it what could they do? Sheesh, this stuff was harder than he thought. Ah, so the little guy liked cuddles did he? Well maybe it wasn't normal for an older brother to cuddle with his younger brother but hey, they were hardly normal kids. He didn't so much mind doing it anyways as much as he didn't really know how to do it, figuring he just basically had to hug Shu. Pulling his little brother into a hug he noticed pretty quick how it didn't seem to be working, frowning as Shu instead tried to sit up rather than be "cuddled". Easing up his grip to give his sibling that liberty Takeshi smiled apologetically, letting out a sigh as he scratched at his nose in defeat. "It's not a waste... I just don't know what to do. You want to not have to worry about this stuff anymore, yeah? So we've gotta talk about it... Maybe with someone like Vegeta, but we've gotta talk about it. How's about we drop it for now though since I'm not getting anywhere with it." He loathed to admit he couldn't help, but Takeshi wasn't going to be able to make much of any difference with Shu here, he was wasting his time. Well he couldn't do everything it seemed, shame. Hopefully either Vegeta or Yumi were available later, they would know what to do.

Considering the odd tendencies and habits of their group T'charrl really didn't stand out, at least in Yumi's opinion. Everyone had their own quirks and that's what made them who they were, the same went for their friend. Sure, perhaps changing into what he referred to as a "monster" was a little different, but again everyone could sympathize with that to a degree... Most everyone. If they were going to ostracize him for that however then both herself and Shu would have to be outcast as well. How about the other Saiyans then, hm? They were all able to turn into an Oozaru, did that make them monsters as well? Viral could transform too, so really the only "odd" one here was Vegeta. "It's okay to be scared of it, it's something you don't totally understand or have control of, I'd be scared too. But don't let that side of you determine who you are, okay? To us you're not that form, you're T'charrl." That was a fair point, could the spirit feel anything? Compared to how it must have felt with the General, Yumi was fair certain it didn't mind being with their friend all that much. Not being able to talk to it kind of made confirming that difficult, but she had a feeling being with someone like T'charrl was far from the worst thing possible. "I'm sure it doesn't mind being with a kind person like yourself, T'charrl. It's probably more than happy to be with you, I'd bet."

So they had been ordered to find Namek, no problem, the crew was happy to help those who relinquished them from Saiyan control. Sure, they were doing more or less the same as they had been before but their treatment was massively better than before; round meals, shifts, chances to do what they wanted, who wouldn't be pleased with the power change? Nah, it wasn't who was in charge that had everyone in a bit of a tiff, but rather the daunting nature of their task. Namek was in none of the databases they had onboard, nor did any of them even have the slightest notion where to even look. Space was big, putting it lightly, and their destination could be literally anywhere. Anything, even a small hint would be delightfully helpful right now. So when a call came through in the control room a few of the crew gathered around excitedly, only to become skeptical when the signal showed it was coming from a rebel ship. Not exactly who they were betting on helping them, as they had no allegiance to the rebellion compared to the Princes and their friends. They weren't enemies though, so it would only be fair to take the hail and see what they wanted. Opening up the channel then the communications officer was surprised to see not Sayomi or Korian calling, but a pair of their subordinates instead. What's more they were looking for Vegeta specifically, a curious request but one they should fulfill. "Understood, just wait one second, we'll patch you through."

Vegeta was at an impasse, not sure if he should leave Viral in the tank or take him out and operate. Would he even know what to do should the Beastman be taken out? No, loathe to admit he wasn't wholly certain what he would be doing even if his friend were to emerge, so for now he was better off inside the tank. There had to be something more that could be done besides sitting here though, anything; therapy might help some but it wasn't going to solve his degenerating state. As things were Viral was in a stasis, and though he liked to think the gene treatment was helping it was impossible to know without examining the Beastman, which meant taking him from the tanks. What a bothersome situation this was, he hated being so indecisive as he was now. Shaking his head in disdain Vegeta perked up slightly hearing the console in the medical room come to life, glancing over at the screen curiously and rising up from his chair. It was the main control room, and evidently they had someone for him to speak to. Odd, he hadn't been expecting anyone, and it wasn't someone on the ship either, of that he was certain. "Very well... Put them through," he said boredly, not really wanting to devote any time or energy to this. A few seconds later an image replaced that of the crew, and he was surprised to see two familiar faces on the other end. Furrowing his brow together curiously he folded his arms across his chest, "This is unexpected... What do you two need?"

"We're helping, for starters, so you could sound a little more grateful," Ricken retorted, frowning as he leaned back in his chair, "You Saiyans don't have any manners, do you?" Typical, they were technically allies and yet Vegeta's body language and tone just screamed he didn't want to be speaking to them. If this weren't a favor for Sayomi then he'd just as soon hang up and forget about the whole matter.

"What he means to say is hello, and sorry for the abrupt call," Sasha interjected, shooting a small glare at her brother before smiling, "We've been asked to come help you by Sayomi, it's about Viral. We heard that you're looking for Namek and we might be able to help you with that."

Vegeta's demeanor changed pretty quickly hearing those words, his eyes widening some as he looked at the siblings in disbelief. Leaning forward some he placed his hands against the counter, glancing back at Viral's tank before the screen again. "You know where Namek is...? How in the world do you know that information?"

"Well... We don't know where it is, but Sayomi is figuring that out as we speak. As soon as she learns one way or another we're coming to help lead you there, and we're going to catalogue it's location for her too."

"She wants to know where it is in the event we need to help them," Ricken finished, "In case the Saiyans ever make a move against the Namekians. So don't think we're doing this out of the kindness of our hearts, you just happen to be a convenient step along the way."

Shu really appreciated Takeshi trying to help him but there wasn’t really anything that was getting sorted, at least not in a sense that it was actually going to help him find a path to getting things fixed. He wasn’t sure how to fix it all himself which is why he kept quiet about it. Sighing lightly in Takeshi’s hold he smiled up at him, just trying to give him a little bit of hope that this was all helping him before he moved away. Even if there wasn’t anything that could be done just now at least he’d know he would be able to say he tried, quite alright to say it was a bit of a waste to give it a try. He was now going to have even more worries about the memories being brought up now that he had revisited them briefly, but he hoped that wouldn’t happen since that would just mean Takeshi’s sleep would be further disturbed along with his. “Okay. Mister Vegeta is very busy, though. I don’t know if he is going to find the time to see me”, he spoke, giving his head a shake, “Might take ages! But it’s not his fault. Mister Viral is very sick, yes? It’s not fair that he gets sick a lot. He did a lot when we were locked away to try and keep things okay, but…he wasn’t around all the time…”

T’charrl knew how dangerous he could be if he didn’t watch what he was doing or what was happening to him when he did change, knowing if he was discharging energy he’d burn his friends or if he was careless with his size and weight. He could easily squash one of his friends by accident and that was something he never had to worry about before any of this. He didn’t know what Saiyans turned into other than the very brief experience seeing Shu so it was difficult to tell what the difference was between him and them. His change was completely unnatural and brought on by a mutation when his power mixed with a spirit’s energy, but theirs sounded natural to them, even Viral’s considering he was apparently created. “I’ll try not to”, he smiled at Yumi, feeling a little better as his worries were eased, “I guess one of my worst fears now is getting stuck in a small place and changing there”. He was sure he could try and keep the spirit happy if only he knew how it felt, but there was no way of knowing unless it came to him in a dream and he remembered that particular dream. He wouldn’t mind having the ability to talk to it while conscious. “I hope so. I mean…if I could just give it company instead of it sleeping for so long. It must feel so tired all the time”, he sighed, rubbing his neck, “We worship the spirits all the time. They mostly live in the trees around my area, it’s why I could talk to the tree at home. The spirit wouldn’t had been asleep when the General took it, maybe napping…but it must’ve been awful…”

Viral’s stasis may had calmed the rampant energy but his mind was anything but calm, his body only made somewhat stable because of his medicine. While he had healed from the fight the attack had managed to take a pretty bad toll on his body and mind. To say he would be feeling okay after all this was probably going to be a longshot. Vegeta’s silence had been both aiding his sleep and damaging his mind, but it was never going to be Vegeta’s fault. In his unconscious state everything he had to focus on fell to the disruptive dreams that only hoped to cripple his mentality and send him into a downward spiral. They were so much clearer when he was asleep because, unlike Shu, they didn’t treat him like another soul so anaesthetic wasn’t a concern. To test his durability was all part of the process and to break his mind was the only option to get him under their control. Shu’s mind was weak and immature, he was easier to break once they knew how. They had managed to break his mind, but even with all this healing his genes breaking down was just keeping the nail in the glass.

The sound of something external was beginning to cut through the torturous imagery and voices, some familiar voices and Vegeta’s as if a discussion out of the interest of something else rather than what was happening in his head. To say it was uncomfortable was an understatement, but it wasn’t as if he was feeling pain already from his dream. As the voices broke through the imagery he slowly opened his eyes, his vision very fuzzy for a few moments before slowly and finally seeing where he was. He was submerged in a tank by the time he realised so it was no wonder that his vision had been a bit odd, but being part shark it wasn’t going to startle him. From what he could see it seemed Vegeta was talking to someone over the communications system. Feeling a slight disorientation to where he actually was he slowly looked around, his paw eventually reaching up to the oxygen mask. He didn’t want to be in this thing, he had spent long enough in here if he was waking up but it certainly wasn’t going to help him anymore to remain inside.

Takeshi was a bit deflated he couldn't help Shu, and even just saying he'd given it a try wasn't quite good enough. He wanted to make things better as the older brother and he couldn't even do that much, what a joke. He couldn't get all bummed out though, he was supposed to be the one to keep the little guy in a good mood and so he'd do just that. Of course it was a little challenging to do so when the topics on hand were all kind of a let down, and inevitably it went back to Viral. "So we're coming full circle, huh? Yeah, he's pretty sick buddy," the older boy said, smiling sadly as he shrugged his shoulders. Giving Shu a curious look then Takeshi folded his arms over his chest, leaning back against the wall as he raised an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? What did Viral do to try helping? Was he trying to keep you happy?" Maybe that was just his misunderstanding things, but it sounded to him almost as if the Beastman had been looking out for Shu. Takeshi had too, in a way, but he couldn't get nearly as close to his brother as Viral must have been able to. Jeez, so did that mean in a way Viral was carrying loads for both himself and Shu? As if things weren't bad enough the guy had been trying to protect his little brother, and unfortunately had failed in that regard. "I didn't know he had been trying to protect you... I'll have to thank him when he wakes up."

"Well we'll just keep you out of tiny rooms, then there's no chance you can get stuck!" Yumi declared, smiling as she nodded to herself, "Though if you're worried about what you might do maybe that's a safe way to handle it. Just think... It'll be so squished you'll look like this." Placing hands on both of her cheeks she squashed her own face, letting out a laugh afterwards. It wasn't a joking topic really but laughter helped to break the tension, and if she could get T'charrl to laugh a little hopefully that would help. This business with the spirit was interesting, she'd never imagined that someone would be able to talk to the dead like that. Sure she'd heard of a few who could, but T'charrl was really the first she had seen do so in person. Smiling thoughtfully as he spoke a proverbial lightbulb went off in Yumi's head, making her smack her fist into her hand excitedly. "Aha! That's it!" she said, beaming up at her friend, "You can talk to the spirits in the trees, right? Well maybe they can help find wherever that spirit came from! They must be able to detect each other, maybe like how we can sense Ki. Animals have scents, people have scents, everything has it's own energy, there's almost always a way to tell something apart from another and I bet it works this way too. When we go back what if you tried asking other spirits about it? Maybe they can tell us how to help the one in you."

Ah, now Vegeta remembered why Ricken was decidedly less than pleasant to work with. They had done him no wrong far as he could recall and yet the boy was as vindictive as ever; Sasha was attempting some semblance of civility, but he could tell she was a bit strained too. Regardless of their behavior the news they had to share were quite good, and he couldn't care less for any ulterior motives. Sure there was slight concern over why the rebels truly wanted to find Namek, but he'd concern himself with that later. Top priority right now was reaching the planet and getting the Dragonballs so that Viral could at last be cured properly. "I see... Well then please feel free to come join us onboard, we've got more commodities here than you do in that little ship, I'd wager. Just call the bridge again when you're nearby and they'll let you in."

"Right, understood." Ricken said flatly, lifting his head stiffly as he leaned forward a bit, "You owe us for this, remember that. We've got our own problems to deal with and we are in no way-"

Sasha quickly clamped a hand over her brother's mouth, smiling exasperatedly as she pushed him away from the camera, "Sorry for him, he's cranky because he hasn't slept. We'll see you shortly, thank you!"

Thank goodness the transmission ended then, Vegeta wasn't sure how much more he could take of the dynamic duo. It seemed to him like Ricken was being difficult simply for the sake of it, so he wasn't too upset to be done with him for now. Besides he had good news for the first time in what felt like forever, they were finally accomplishing something significant in the way of helping Viral. The possibilities didn't end there either, once the Beastman was seen to surely they could help Shu, and even T'charrl for that matter. Yumi claimed she was okay with her situation but he wanted to revisit it soon anyways, just to make certain nothing was really wrong. Smiling to himself he allowed himself a small cheer, freezing as he got the uncanny feeling someone was watching him. Blinking owlishly his head swiveled around slowly, glancing over at Viral's tank as his eyes widened spotting his friend moving about. He wasn't supposed to be awake just yet, though now was a good a time as any given the situation. Hurrying over to the tank he smiled at Viral, turning on the speaker inside of the tank itself to speak to him. "I suppose you're wanting to come out of there, fine, but before you do... We've found Namek!" Vegeta said, shaking his head before letting out a chuckle, "Or rather we're about to, with some help. I'll get you out of there in just a moment, just let me know if there's any serious physical pain before hand. I don't want to take you out of there if there is, not just yet."
