It'll be another year or two of just making sure they actually did this right the first time.

Like that time when we thought we saw a neutrino going FTL, but it turned out the clock was wrong.

If it isn't an error, then that means something created that warp bubble. From what I know about the stuff, that means negative energy. If I'm marginally correct there, and there is no error, this is the most important discovery since discovering things. Of course, it's probably an error.

Warpstar 1 is a joke.

Think about its line of thrust/gravity and where the floor is.

Now notice the instrument-panel is suspended from a side-wall about 60 feet off the 'floor'.

There also happens to be a whole-room sized trapdoor in the floor exiting straight into space.
-Stop and think about that when it's propelled at twice what we consider normal gravity.

That's pretty impressive when you consider that Magellan's circumnavigation of the globe took three years.
