XD You're supposed to. It's not really her fault what she's become.

Reading that felt like two parents gave their child a punishment. A rather painful punishment for absolutely no evident reason at all, but a punishment nonetheless. I can imagine the WotW slamming her bedroom door's closed and shouting "I hate you! You ruin my life!"

Thanks!

I was tempted to throw an "Unleash the Kraken!" somewhere in there, but I decided it would ruin the mood I was trying to set up.

That wasn't what I was going for, but I guess it accurately describes WotW's treatment by Invictus.

To me, the really bad part is when she first seems to realize that Kraken is going to be with her forever, he's a part of her

I also thought that ActRaisers' intro was confusing and strange. Not bad, but it needs some more explanation.

EDIT: In contrast, I thought Lugubrious's intro was enrapturing.

I suggest developing The Dragon God's introduction a bit more. Take as an example what the rest of us have been doing as intros. You might want to follow suit for a tiny while before creating your dragons.

And yes, Escre's intro was wonderful, I must admit.

They're stars. Dragons are stars. Maybe not all the stars. I don't have enough Might Points for that. But the dragons that are just created are basically stars.

My thoughts exactly.

I know the GMs have placed no official restriction on our god's beginnings- and it's rightly so that they haven't- but I can't help but feel we had a wonderful pattern and flow going on, and then the thing with the dragons...and something about stars...it doesn't seem to fit or make as much sense as the others.

That just my personal opinion, however, and should be taken as no offense to ActRaiser. I've seen Act's writing before, back in the OldGuild, and it is very good, but this just didn't set well with me

If you'd like, when a dragon is born, the star dims, but then brightens up the longer the dragons live. . . so basically the stars are just dragons that exist in an embryonic state. . .

But honestly I don't see the problem. I constantly alluded to stars in my god's application.

Forget about it, it's not a big deal. Just my 2-cents, really.

Act, common dragons are powerful enough to burn entire cities to the ground--Don't you think dragons as big and powerful as stars are a bit overkill?

I think he may mean that stars are dragons only in metaphor.

At least I really, really hope that is what he means

I agree.

He says he constantly alluded to stars in his Character Sheet, and that much is true, but the allusion and metaphor is not very clear. I've been kinda confused this whole time about what Mr. ActRaiser is doing with his dragon god

EDIT: Again, it is by no means a bad idea, but I find it to be a foggy one.

One Question.

Are the Dragons alive(in any sense of the word)?

@Rtron

Loved your first post, it makes me wonder what would happen to Vestec had the four just allowed themselves to be remade. It also made me feel sorry for the one who was pushed down and forced to join Vestec, it reminds me of Woman of the Waters when Kraken was born.

Speaking of which, Vestec leveling up on the first post inspired me to do the same. To give it a real reason, I updated my intro with Kraken mentioning that they must grow in power to avoid being conquered.

Looks like Vestec may have a rival of equal power on his hands, Rtron :)
