I'm want to give my suggestion that we start using mentions in our posts so their is no confusion of who is talking to who. Lugubrious you know what I mean since we are both in the Phoenix wing rp

Please let us not do that. I always read all the IC posts related to me and it just gets obnoxious having to clear my alerts history every time some posts. Besides if we can't make it clear who is speaking to who in the IC post them we are doing something very wrong as writers.

If it's inconveniencing, it's not exactly a good idea. I myself do understand why I wouldn't want people to constantly be mentioning me when they post, even if I'm involved. It just causes clutters. I mentioned the others in my last post cause it's been a while since I posted and wanted to get their attention. Good for big, chaotic messes, but not something that should be done left-and-right.

I think it qualifies as either redundant or lazy.

If it's to get the attention of the other person then it's redundant because that person should be checking the IC regularly anyways. If they haven't been on awhile it might be alright just to get there attention but not every IC post needs a mention.

If it's to make it clear who you are talking to then it's just lazy. If you're writing isn't making it clear who you are having a conversation with then you need to do some serious rethinking on how you are writing cause it's obviously not clear enough.

We are using it, but perhaps not quite as frequent as you'd like. Personally, I'd only do it if I feel that I or someone else I'm talking to hasn't posted in a long time. Mentioning them will allow them to know that I wrote something.

Plus aiming it at me and Lugubrious specifically made it seem as though you wished us to start doing it consistently especially since we are the ones controlling the two characters currently in the infirmary with your team.

Even when I don't feel like I ought to read everyone's important contribution to the IC of a given roleplay, I usually skim for people's avatars. If I'm RPing with Lucius and I see Kakyoin when scrolling, I know there's a post I've got to read.

I'll begin using mentions in my posts that involve Greyson.
