Well how would he even know about the ambush in time to interfere or adjust his actions? Ialu certainly didn't know; and Thulemiz seemed to make up the idea on the spot. Assuming that Aztoc even has scouts and his information isn't coming solely from deserters like Bjorn, I'd say he might not even find out that Ialu's lost his army of 3000 dragons.

It would be hilarious if he sold his soul to Astarte in exchange for her help with destroying a horde of dragons that no longer exists.

@Rtron Hmm, I thought Aztoc was going to wait for Thulemiz to come to Garakai, where they could plan things there. That battle there was just to get the Blade of Chaos, the Siege of Garakai is where things are REALLY going to get heated. I would think that Aztoc wouldn't want to leave his flying fortress...

Granted. But the fact remains, Aztoc did promise to kneel to Thulemiz, and he wouldn't have just waited for the battle to be decided. If it's 'see what happens and hope' or 'Interfere and hopefully kill Ialu and his allies' Aztoc is going to interfere. As far as he knows, Thulemiz is better to kneel to and easier to manipulate, whereas Ialu's just going to kill him.

Not to mention, I think Arguis would have made whatever devil's deal with Aztoc he was going to before this happened. Not sure, that's for @LokiLeo789 to say. Vestec certainly would have (THE COLLAB, WE NEED TO FINISH IT @FRETTZO).

Regardless, I'll adapt. Just something to keep in mind.
