I have been looking around the site, trying to find an LGBT Roleplay because I feel like they just don't get enough love and RP characters with LGBT preferences; its always "he loves her" or "she loves him", but never any "She loves her" or "He loves him"!

The goal is to allow people who are LGBT or support LGBT relationships to openly portray characters whom are LGBT without the fear of being judged and while having a great time RPing!

THIS RP IS NOT ONLY FOR GAY CHARACTERS! You may portray a straight character and create a romance with the opposite sex as well!

This is just an RP for LGBT characters to feel less alienated and normal! :)



I guess this is not really a set-in-stone thing, I just want to get a feel for how many people would be interested in creating LGBT or supportive Straight Characters and what setting they would like to RP in!

I usually wait until after a plot and setting and stuff has been established to create a character, but I've been having a hankering for some sort of medieval fantasy.

P.S. I only want to know if people are LGBT characters so I know if we have a balance of Gays, Lesbians, Transgenders and Straights so nobody feels left out! Bi people could go either team though! :)

This is a.... First for me. Not on creatin an LGBT character but in seeing a roleplay which focuses on their existence instead of brushing them away. Being gay myself, I generally lean towards gay characters anyway. I'm slightly more interested in a College or rather than fantasy or sci-fi. Though, I also like the idea of Renaissance setting.

This is intruiging to say the least. I never thought about queer characters being brushed aside and not seeing the romance because everyone else was straight, but it makes sense.

Sci-fi fantasy or medieval fantasy would be cool. This seems like it's not a super fast-paced roleplay so I think I'll manage!

I'm keeping my eye on this, my favorite games are fantasy based, but, i might join whatever comes again. Queer-normative settings are so rare, breath of fresh air!

It's likely more common with LGBT RPs in the 1x1 RP section than in groups. I'm not personally all that interested in group RPs, no matter what they're about, so it might be misleading to base our existence on interest in a group RP. I do like the idea though.
