@User - I've PM'd you I think- write back to me. I've not been around much for the last day or so, but I can pick up where I left off from.

Also, @Nevix, that CS is going well- just the revolver I'm not entirely a fan of (we don't do civilian firearms here in the UK, especially not those), and a little more on equipment would be nice. Otherwise, it's going really well- I would guess the same concerns are shared by other RPers, but yeah, I like that so far.

Nice to see everyone posting- I'll post soonish, after the cycle completes.

Most handguns are flat out banned in the UK, iirc, so Konrad's right there. I think that Northern Ireland has considerably looser laws, including allowing handguns such - but your guy's from Scotland.

I'm not going to turn this into a political argument, but even our police don't have guns (apart from Northern Ireland, where they do, and you cannot buy a firearm anyway). Best you can do, if you're a bodyguard to a VIP, then there's permits, or a hunting rifle, or shotgun. The more you know, right?

Could still be something engraved, perhaps- the idea is there, just not the object, if that makes sense.

Iirc Northern Ireland was allowed to pass its own gun laws, so still gonna have a hard time getting a nice rifle, but something like a revolver should be manageable. Granted, character is from Scotland, so no real chance of that happening there at all.

Avoiding a political argument is good, though, so I'll just go back to lurking for now.

He is really busy with real life stuff, military real life stuff. So I won't burn him for it- I mean, if he comes back, I'm happy to have him on board, it's understandable in some way, but I will continue the RP on as we do.
