@Dblade26 If you need Faraday to have done that, sure. Key word being need. But let's try not to do that thing where absolutely everyone has worked for SHIELD, been trained by Richard Dragon, studied Archery with Ollie Queen, and Krav Maga with Taskmaster.


I was just maybe going to do Richard Dragon studying because

1) as a former spy I felt it could have made reasonable, not-just-gratuitious sense for Marc to have been contemporaries with or studied under Dragon

2) Moonie being a more skilled martial artist helps resolve the corner I may-or-may-not have written myself into by having him beat Killer Shrike on pure skill when Shrike outmatches him in terms of physicals now that I'm more coherent.

3) I was potentially going to use it as part of my 'Marc Spector gets called back into intelligence work' ideas.

That said I understand the reservation completely and I guess if I have to then Marc could just be a highly skilled martial artist in his own right, not everyone needs training from one of the big names to be good. Besides, over the course of being a prizefighter, a special forces soldier, a CIA field operative and a mercenary he probably had a lot of time to form and refine his technique.

@Dblade26 I wasn't completely poo-pooing the idea. I just recall that a deluge of superheroes and villains claimed to have been trained by the same people and/or all had links to SHIELD in a similar game and it stretched the imagination a little. Go ahead and do whatever you need to do with Marc.

Well, regardless of whether I choose to make his martial arts skills his own or partially from Dragon,his marksmanship and tactics and the like are all his own. He might not be Hawkeye or Green Arrow or Bullseye, but he's still pretty good

Don't mean to try and sell him or anything, just been looking up Moon Knight stuff for inspiration.

@FacePunch Nope just needed an assassin to be mentioned in the backstory. Can easily be swapped out or stay depending on how you feel about being beaten by the Bat.

To be fair, Dick and Jason wore Underwear of Power in lieu of tights. So I'm guessing Bruce is more of a leg man.

If Jim Lee's art is anything to go by from All Star I would say it's all but confirmed.
