Hello, hello, hello, I am Mr Allen J, and welcome to my Roleplay, New Rivière City:. The continuation of the "Verthaven verse" I've established. The basic jist of things is that the universe has Superhumans, and instead of capes and heroes, most of them just seek to live their lives. The RP is set in a New Orleans type city, known for it's casinos and whatnot. The RP will revolve around a diverse cast of these Metahumans as they go about the city. Now, this RP will be very sandbox-y and have a focus on realism, people will be able to make their own choices. With a focus on character development and interaction. I hope you come here to make an interesting story, because I have. I'll be putting all that I got into this RP.

Are you against Toonforce as their superpower? I REALLY wanna see how RPing such a power works in day to day.


I am aware of the "Toonforce," but I'll unfortunately have to decline. I have seen the power around a few times and a living cartoon doesn't really fit the more realistic/serious tone of the RP - or the characters I'll be asking for. You can make a character that uses cartoons or whatever for inspiration, but the "Toonforce" stretches the setting and the logic a bit too much for me.

So you don't want to see a toon-like character try to acclimate themselves to a more serious environment and all the potential plotthreads that could make? That makes me sad, esp with the RP's premace

You can get a feel for the power levels here. But I'm going for a "mid-level," as you can say.

where do I sign up for this? I want to join as well...


Currently, this is an interest check. The actual OOC with the signups will come later - after I get a little bit more interest.

Super powers and comic book stuffs are my jam. I am interested, but can't commit just yet as I have to see how some other things I've already thrown my hat in for end up, but if one of those falls through for me I am definitely here.

The way things are described, I'm having flashbacks to inFAMOUS 2, hahaha. So the following are a list of powers that I would like to know if they would be allowed, and if so to what extent?
