Ah.

Well in that case you'd need to talk to someone. There'd be some openings I think, especially with initial conflict already active between Spain and the Ethiopian pan-African Empire.

The technology is more along the lines of 50s-60s, with a few things here and there that step into 70s territory. But don't assume that means that we have the same vehicles and guns as real-life 50s and 60s. This is alternate history, so people who may have been needed for the creation of certain weapons may have not survived, or maybe they did but they're just farmers instead of weapons manufacturers. Or maybe they are weapon manufacturers, but their visions have changed drastically and their designs are different.

So basically, just make up guns and vehicles that fit the alternate history aesthetic, while still using 50s-60s technology.

Yea, it's 1980 but otherwise the armory is either set back or not actual Soviet-style equipment. For sure guns like the Mosin or anything from or before the twenties is in. Otherwise after it gets pretty murky.

China has adopted some older Russian equipment into its army, but in general they use stuff unique to themselves, sorta. They have their own assault-rifle and handgun, and they adapted and reproduce a Chinese version of the Mondragon rifle.

Also no Jets and modern computers and the like. If you're totting radios they're like those from the second world war. The US, Spain, and China are the only nations permitted to use Jets. So far.
