OOC - After Miranda OOC
Premise
Mr. Universe said nothing can stop the signal. He was right. The recordings from what happened on Miranda were sent out and flooded the 'Verse. Everyone knew now. They knew of the Pax, how it destroyed so many lives, how it created the Reavers, how the Alliance was behind it. We now have seen what a world without Sin truly looked like. It was anything but the paradise that some had hoped for. Nothing can stop the signal.
It has been three years since the crew of Serenity sent out the signal and lost several of their own in the fight to do so. A new war has broken out, the Browncoats had pulled back together to stop the Alliance with more fervor than ever. They have more behind them than ever and even more opposing them. Many of the population has rioted against the Alliance for what they have done, a veil pulled off from over their eyes to see the truth. Yet some still cling to what the Alliance feeds them.
The crew of Serenity is still out there, somewhere, but do not be concerned about them. Right now, your job is to chose a side and to survive.
Overview
Setting: The 'Verse
Time Frame: 3 years after Miranda's fate was broadcast

Type Of RP: A Twist on the Firefly Fandom set at the beginning of a new war that has broken out between the Browncoats and the Alliance.
We will start out in two divisions; The Alliance and The Crew of Vengeance.
The Alliance is made up of the rich and powerful, those that are fighting for unification still to this day. They will do anything to stop the signal and to put an end to the Independents known as Browncoats once and for all. People in the Alliance have lived privileged lives. Never having gone hungry. They are highly educated in their fields and some can be quite ruthless in their tactics.
The Crew Of Vengeance are a mixed bunch. Most are Browncoats, some fought in the previous war. All are smugglers at this point no matter what brought them onto the ship. Most will have a record with the Alliance and be targets; though a handful may not. This crew has been together and took over much of Serenity's known stopping points after Miranda was released. A rag tag group of people that some are not sure they want to be part of this war or not yet, but they stick together because Vengeance is home.
Both sides in this Rp will be faced with various tasks to complete; from information acquisition to smuggling weapons. It is up to you which side you want to play but remember, at any time you can switch sides. (If the price is right and it fits your characters personality and circumstances.) - So in truth, you never know who is on who's side.
War is raging on many of the planets. The Rim planets are nearly over run with a sudden rise in the Reaver Population. People are fighting to stay alive or to die before the Reavers get them. The Border planets are constantly either under attack by the Alliance because they rebelled or switching sides so quickly no one knows where they stand. The Core has even broken out in war and rebellion this time. Many of the planets wanting to break free of the Alliances control, while others are standing strong and refusing to leave; fighting for unification and providing much of the Alliances weapons and military force.
What will happen is up to you. How you react to the situations, what information you can gather for what ever side you are playing for, what goods and services you can get together. Thing is, even though a war is ragging, you still have to survive life itself. Even if you are in a zone where it is peaceful low food, fuel and supply stocks are constantly plaguing the Browncoats. The Alliance is not without problem either; with the sudden shift of some people you never know who you can trust; your best friend, your wife, could suddenly turn on you. High ranking Alliance members are dropping like flies and no one knows who is doing the killing yet.
Now, get your shit together and let's get moving. The 'Verse is counting on you.

The 'Verse refers to system of stars, planets, and moons colonized by those that left Earth. (Though honestly it means the universe, we are sticking to the known 'Verse used in the series and movie.) - For ease of reference you may check here - The Verse

- White Sun: Also known as Bai Hu - is the center of the 'Verse by all reckoning. Around it orbit the Central Planets, also known as the White Sun system, and the home of the Alliance.

- Georgia: Also known as Huang Long - is the principal star of the Georgia system, the largest system orbiting White Sun (Bai Hu). Here is where the Independent Planets first stood up against the Alliance. The memory of this lies across the surface of Shadow, a planet bombed so hard at the beginning of the Unification War that nothing lives there and never will again.

Rules
- Gm Is Goddess
- Gm has final say on all matters
- Gm does check on posting and log in habits

- You cannot use a character or a Face Claim from the Series or the Movie
- NO Rivers!
- Change color code to one not in use or one that is close to another characters; this is to help better keep things easy to read during collabs.
- NO, and I mean NO copying what someone posted in a previous post to use in your post. That means no copied dialogue, world narrative paragraphs, nada. (This drives me up a wall and I will send a Reaver after you!)
- May not use white
- Characters can and will die! You have been warned! It can happen at anytime without warning, it is all left to the luck of the roll for this. LLA is strong. (Might want to make a back up character while you are at it.)
- This is a slice of life "style" rp; which to me means the following -
- Real Life cause and effect will be in place
- Realistic Character Sheets Only
- Backgrounds must be reasonable! The younger the character, the less you know. Remember this! No Prodigies!
- Skills listed must be reflected in the character history
- Minimal Character Age is 21 For This
- Language - No Filters
- Romance - Pg-13, then fade to black

- Minimal of 2 well developed paragraphs per post
- Must IC post once every 7 days, if your IC counter ticks to day 8, you are booted without question or warning.
- I do not accept no inspiration as a reason not to post

- Minimal 2 posts between your last
- Know your personal posting limitations before applying to join
- If you cannot post, you must contact the GM and make them aware, you will be granted extra time to post (do not take advantage of this) - I realize real life comes first but you know your schedule better than anyone, if you join it is your responsibility to keep up and not hold up the rest of the Rpers. You must contact me by day 5 on your counter if you need an extension.
- No collabs may be started after day 5 of either persons counters, collabs must be posted by 7 seven or either Rpers. If your partner vanishes, post what you have before your clock runs out.
- Spots are not first come first serve
- Gm will review completed CS first
- Gm will review previous Rp's and posting habits
- Gm will then notify you if you are approved
- You may use characters from previous RP's but must ask GM before hand if it is okay and CS must redone to fit the one provided.
- Do NOT post WIP CS's!!!!! (Auto denial)
- You may Rp up to 2 characters - If you do though, one must be male and one must be female to help keep balance.
- If you wish to Rp more than 2 characters, contact the GM for a "review" process.
- Once Cs's are approved, relation sheet will go up and must be completed and added to CS
