actually it's of his own accord. Now that he's in the guard he knows he needs someone and will be like a puppy. Internally of course he will be ripping half the people's faces off.

I agree, it actually makes very little sense; why the heck would he suddenly be this submissive after already threatening almost everyone?

@Hank As with many things Commissar, you're pretty much exempt.

@Andreyich As the squads heavy weapon trooper you can pretty much be a tank, but having just one guy running about covered in carapace armour with an autogun...you can see how that might throw things off balance, yes?

For everyone; if you do want to request equipment from 'le store' then you can, I'll probably roll for it and we'll see...

No, flak is simply paper, carapace armour is like...reinforced cardboard.
