If that's the case, I don't mind. Just needed to check if she was unsure because she was completely new and somehow missed all the years of news in the interim or just didn't care enough to distinguish, as Snaggle said.

You guys are definitely free to set up any preexisting ties with each other, by the way.

I don't really mind in-depth best friends/boyfriends/girlfriends coming in and the like; just make sure you note that in your history if you do decide to set anything up.

Hah, I'm open to suggestions in that department. Wouldn't be inconceivable for Lawrence to have known a few people before he went to the institution a year ago, but he's probably been a bit of a ghost since then.

Should I edit that part to make it more clear that she's an Arbiter?

Well, I imagine Sander as this awkward new kid. Since I assuming we are starting at the beginning of a semester (right? do superpower schools have semester? since students have to live there n shit), Sander might not know many yet. He might have brush shoulders with a couple of folks.

@January Also, Aberrations don't share rooms right? So how are the dorms situated? Are they seperated by gender or year?

Btw everybody. The GM team has been using shortened forms for Arbiters and Aberrations for behind the scenes work, calling them Arbs and Abes respectively instead cos typing more than four letters is hard.

Since we've been using the Arb/Abe thing so much, we decided to just make a thing in-universe too as hip magical slang. So yeah, do with it what you will :/

I was going to cover it in the IC post, but you will be coming in at the start of a semester, yes. Let's say first week of September, 2020. Fall semester.

And dorms are not separated by gender or age, though Aberrations get small, single-person dorm rooms in a separate building from the Arbiters, yes. (Refer to the Survival Guide thread for further details.) The staff don't really care what nonsense you subnaturals get up to in your spare time as long as you don't obliterate anything too important too often. (And as long as you're not up to shady business that isn't ordered by the Director.)
