Uh. Rocket jumping came from Team Fortress 2. The soldier could use his rocket launcher to shoot at his own feet and send himself flying, thus rocket 'jumping'.

I was thinking TF2 with the rocket jump thing but the blow up/down thing was just a straight up shameless pun.
