Announcement!!! THE FIRST IC IS POSTED!


The first IC is posted! I've made a small opener that can be used for anyone to start their first posts off, I will continue working on the words of my characters, though I will leave @Sarcelle Renard Adrian to reply before posting for the King.

The thugs from Tiadan should be a good discussion talk for most characters! Please try to wait for everyone to post/at least a day before adding another post for the same character! If you have multiple characters, it is alright to post multiple times.

After that, just have two posts in between yours and you are fine!

@AimeChambers Please, Adrian is always inches away from giving his brother an aneurysm. It's how he shows he cares.

And if you have never seen a video of a fox diving for prey, I highly recommend it. They just look too goofy and adorable not to smile at it.

I think the most fun part of this is naming the NPCs. :p (google translate for those curious)

I hope I'm not pushing the plot in the wrong direction. I also put Sky in the room with the queen. I hope that's an acceptable starting place for her.

(I'm holding off on Ihana for a bit, until things start to happen in Hiertania, so she won't be a listener with nothing to listen to.)

Hiertania is more monotheistic, Bellvar is more polytheistic, and Lutaires is kind of like nature is their god.

The queen sent out scouts to find out. So you could say the scouts discerned that the thugs were from Tiadan. Or if the thugs took a route through Hiertania before coming to Lutaires, the scouts could conclude that the thugs were from Hiertania.

Are Hiertanians and Tiadains similar enough in appearance and behavior that Lutairites couldn't tell them apart?

I figured that it'd be more realistic to have differing forms of referring to the place, the people, the adjective. I know Aime used the -ian suffix for all of them, but I think this would add more cultural flavor. (I am a bit of a linguaphile.) This setup would also have Tiadan be culturally closer to Hiertania than to Lutaires.

In terms of whether the scouts would think of the thugs as Tiadans or not, there should probably be a bit of suspicion towards Hiertania, because in my upcoming post (I have it all written out, just need to type it up), a lot of the Lutairian loot is flooding into Hiertanian black markets on the border, so it can seem like it was planned that way? Maybe?
