» Marshall has a very commanding personality. When he speaks those around him listen. He knows the ins and outs of the business. He is probably the strictest trainer that AWE has ever had, but that's because he wants his performers to do their best. He looks after them even after they've gone on to be full time in AWE and will still give pointers whenever they need it. Whether they want it or not. He sees treats those that he trains like his own children often being the first one to congratulate them whenever they've done good. He expects the wrestlers to give it their all each and every moment and they better do just that or he will come knocking.

» In the 90's many names came and went through AWE. However, a certain select number stayed in the hearts of the fans. Among that select few is a man of large stature named Marshall Griggs. He went by the nickname Ox back then. He was a powerhouse that made anyone he wrestled look good even if they were terrible at the business. Inside and out of the ring he made his presence known. Whether he was a face or a heel at the time the "Ox" was basically a hired set of arms to use for pummeling an opponent or protecting someone. Nearly everyone wanted him on their side. Enough of that though. For his job description today is a little different.

As a talent scout a lot of the new wrestlers of today that came to AWE were on recommendation by Marshall. It's like he sees more in a performer than anyone else does, including themselves, and Roddy recognizes this. After a few years though Roddy switched Marshall to the position of Head Trainer over the developmental stage for AWE. Marshall does his best to bring out the best in the wrestlers. He teaches them everything he has to know about the world of wrestling entertainment. He commands respect and just straight up deserves it. He is basically like your favorite high school teacher that was really hard on you, but you really appreciated what they did for you once you aren't directly under their instruction anymore.

|Fighting Style |
» High flying risk taker with lucha and Parkour inspired moves. He’s always fast paced and trying to top the last sequence, leading to matches that are full of moments but lack coherent storylines. Most of his moves are acrobatic, but he does like to show off just about anything that he thinks would look cool. His strikes do not look realistic, and he lacks the strength to perform most power moves on someone the size of a typical AWE wrestler, leading him to rely even more on aerial maneuvers. He is unpolished and at times even dangerous, showing little regard for his own or his opponent’s safety. Alex is great at selling moves, really showing their impact with crazy bumps, which is one of the reasons he is a jobber.

|Gimmick |
» Kidd Neon is a raver, always high on life, music and other drugs. He dances all the time and just can’t wait to share the music with everyone, because he believes it is truly life changing stuff. Kidd loves to show off and will even pause to take a selfie or share moments of social media, because he loves every stereotypical “millennial” trends, but hates older media. He can’t stand anyone doesn’t want to party and loves to mess with anyone who takes themselves seriously, leading him to start a lot of altercations for stupid reasons. His antics and music taste go over poorly with the usually conservative wrestling crowd, solidifying him as a heel. As a jobber he doesn’t get much free time on the mic, but when he is allowed he goes on long nonsensical tangents that still manage to capture attention thanks to the sheer enthusiasm he has. He wears long baggy neon blue pants with reflective stripes on them, and kandi and glow bracelets along his arms. He also wears gloves with LED lights on them, to be even more garish.

» Alex came from the indie scene, bouncing between promotions and spicing up matches with his spotfests. Even though he is inexperienced he sincerely believes he is one of the best wrestlers in the world and is frustrated by the way he is treated in AWE. He tries to hold it in, but it has become clear that he holds a lot of resentment for the veterans and the management, believing that they are conspiring to keep the younger wrestlers down and pay them less. Alex is not a level-headed guy, instead of thinking calmly and rationally he likes to get upset and start feuds even over small things, and has been known to hold grudges for a long time.

» Zachary is rather simple in fighting, as his character focuses more on his natural charisma and way with words. Think Bobby Roode. He uses all the easily identifiable moves, sans high-flying and acrobatic styles. He likes to trash talk while in submissions/rest holds, and enjoys playing with the crowd's emotions, sometimes letting the face seem like they're going to get off a big move and then striking with a low blow when the ref isn't looking. He doesn't mind playing dirty, as it is just a means to an end, the end being the AWE Championship.

|Gimmick|
» Zachary's gimmick is that he is the dirty heel that the fans love to hate. His promo work after 10 years of experience leads to him being able to play with the crowd and improv when they start chanting something. He purposely riles them up by beginning every promo acting as a face would, then insulting his rival at the time, which easily gives him some heat.

» Zack is a well-respected and valuable member of the backstage crew, not just because of his in-ring work, but from the years of respect he's gained helping out the back. Each night he gets in early, leaves late and makes sure everyone does their bit in helping the show run smoothly. Whenever he's got spare time he sits down with creative to see where they think his character should be headed, and always tries to help them decide on the best choice for Wake.

As such, Zack understands and is confident in the booking decisions in relation to his character, whether it be win, lose or draw. He's fine with helping the young ones get over, since he has been there, and will do everything in his power to help them succeed. Zachary cares deeply about the business, and it shows.

» Zachary is currently involved in an angle/feud with his "student", Owen Sparks. Even though Zack is a heel through and through, and Owen is the new, overconfident babyface, Zack is attempting to take Sparks under his wing and nurture him into a heel.

» Since he really has only just begun, Owen hasn't developed a broad moveset, but is leaning towards a risk-taking grappler/high flier, with little time for technical/brawling styles. Owen isn't what one would call a polished or magnificent wrestler, but he shows promise in the moves he can do well. Before entering his angle with Zachary Wake, Owen was very much a "Five Moves of Doom" type wrestler, and since the story has started, Wake has been helping Owen to expand his moves.

|Gimmick|
» Owen is the happy-go-lucky new babyface, both in-character and out, really. He is excited to be wrestling in any promotion, and shows great promise. He adds a new move to his arsenal every match, and is meant to portray a growing and changing wrestler-in-training. However, though he is a face, Sparks has recently become the apprentice to Zachary Wake, a heel who doesn't mind cheating to win. And it seems like Owen may soon adopt his teacher's philosophy in an attempt to stop his shaky win:loss ratio.

He's still developing his skills on the mic, but like all young wrestlers, he has some semblance of a natural charisma that is being pushed to be honed through promos either just before or after his matches.

» Since he is relatively new to AWE Ian hasn't build himself a reputation quite yet. As such, only a few wrestlers really know Ian, and can put up with his slightly cocky attitude. He knows he isn't the best as that is just ignorant, but knows that he was picked up by AWE after only 1 year in the business meaning that the scouters either overestimated his talents, or they know that he has a lot of room to grow. Ian likes to believe it's the latter.

Regardless of wrestling talent, Ian is loyal to his close buddies, and is constantly trying to improve himself - both physically and mentally - through the help of those friends. He recognizes that there is a lot to be improved about himself, but can't pinpoint those problems by himself. As such, he often finds himself being arrogant to others, and potentially racist at times if he isn't careful.

Despite these flaws, there's a reason Ian nails the happy-go-lucky gimmick: It still comes to him naturally.

» Owen Sparks is currently participating in an angle/feud with Zachary Wake in an attempt to help get Owen over with the crowd, by having Owen have a moral conflict between doing what's right, and doing what needs to be done for him to win. Zachary is trying to persuade Owen to cheat so he can get his wins up.

»Sydney's gimmick draws from Dawn's MMA experience and military background. Sydney is a punk who will brutalise her opponents. She either wears black or camo ring gear, and her titantron video has heavy war themes as well as grungy text and filters. Her entrance itself isn't anything spectacular. Her song hits, the lighting turns green, and she marches out with purpose. Sometimes she'll walk out with a chair or a bat if it's a stipulation match that allows such things. Sydney's wrestling style reflects her character; grapple-heavy, with her spots often being shows of strength and power, or acts of barbarism or brutality, such as chair shots or attacks aimed at the head.

» Dawn, before being picked up by the company and trained from scratch to pro-wrestle, was first a British soldier, signing up for four years service when she was sixteen having seemingly no other options or aspirations. When she was discharged at age twenty, she had gained an appetite for physical fitness. She trained in MMA for a while before deciding that it wasn't her thing and she did not enjoy the competitive nature of it. She then turned to female bodybuilding. That's when she was picked up by AWE talent scouts, and was signed up to their developmental promotion, where she spent two years both learning and honing her wrestling skills. Seven months ago, she was moved up to AWE itself, and has enjoyed success as a dominant heel in the women's division.

Dawn's rep has not suffered for this unusual career path, and she is a genuinely nice, friendly, respectful person who gets on well with the rest of the locker room, and will happily give tips on bodybuilding and fitness to anybody who asks of her.

In terms of planning matches, Dawn is not a strict, meticulous planner, but nor is she comfortable calling moves on the fly. She likes to have a basic plan and the order of all the big spots at the very least decided on before the match. In the planning stage, she is more than accommodating of any ideas unless they undermine her character. She has a couple of rules she will not break for anyone, such as; she will never no-sell, she will never lose by submission unless it's an important PPV, and she believes that finishers should be protected and won't agree to perform or take too many if they won't win the match and it's not an important enough PPV for shock kickouts.
