granted, but the process you must go through to wish something is so gross and publicly humiliating that you don't ever use your new wishing power.

Granted, you've been made into a hermit. You barely have the money for living expenses because of the minimal assistance from social welfare. You're forced to use the most rudimentary art supplies. Most people are never able to work their way out of poverty, you definitely won't be unstoppable.

Granted, for the rest of your life you remain as uncursed as your wish. Sadly though, someone has to be cursed. The one who gets cursed instead of you eventually figures out that you're the reason why they're cursed. They then set out on a Kill Bill style quest for vengeance, and you're their target.

granted. You are now constantly surrounded by people who like you and want to talk to you, 24/7. You start to lose out on lots of sleep, and you can't even get away from everyone for a minute to go to the bathroom in peace. eventually you decide to wish away all the people, and you slowly become lonely once again.
