Dragonborn vs. Eragon and Saphira

Picture a maxed out Nord Dragonborn who was highly gifted in many different shouts and phrases, was an expert swordsman that wielded a frost enchanted Elven sword, and specialized in Destruction and Restoration magic and was somewhat experienced in Illusion magic.

(Equipped with full plate armor and helm and wielding an enchanted Elven sword and a standard Dwarven Shield.)

now...

pit him against Eragon and Saphira from Brisingr.

In a battle to the death, who would dominate?

Well, it couldn't be a Redguard. They've got curved swords. Curved. Swords.

Anyways, this load-out sucks. If we're going with something realistic and end-game, it's Nord Dragonborn, all daedric armor, wielding a large axe, all shouts. In which case, Eragon and Safira are fucked hardcore 'cause the shouts can bring them down, control dragons, summon BETTER dragons, slow down time, and force people to die after a short amount of time.

TBH I dumbed it down a bit for their benefit.

Since technically yes, a 100% maxed out to the teeth Dragonborn such as that would metaphorically rape them into oblivion.

Unless Eragon learned said Dragonborns' true name.

I'd say there needs to be some ground rules before the fight starts. No introductions, put in a room outside either of their universes, cannot summon outside help, no surrendering, no giving up because it's a pointless fight. A large reason why the Death Battles series doesn't work is because they don't follow those rules or similar.

To make it fair, let's say our Dragonborn only has max force, dragon rend, and sprint, as well as only half the two handed skill tree, half the restoration, nd only iron armor and battleaxe.

Let's get real here fam, given Skyrim's penchant for having an armor cap once you rig your heavy armor stat just right you can tank all damage in steel plate just as well as in full Daedric. It's only aesthetic at that point.

On a side note, did anyone here ever create an Orc and pursue the Dragonborn quest line??

I recently replayed Skyrim and for the first time created an Orc Warrior.

I literally avoided all of the main quests.

I only did the more prominent side quests and all of the mini-quests.
Honestly all I did was traverse the world on foot and explored, cleared dungeons and caves, conquered forts, and did character and city-based quests only.

And as for combat, I stuck strictly to my iron banded shield, enchanted Orcish mace, and my Drawven bow and arrows.

I find an Orcish magician to be rather out of place.

Basically this match-up pits a video game character with potentially limitless power, up against what amounts to essentially Christopher Paolini's power fantasy, not dissing the Inheritance Cycle but just being realistic. In the books we see Eragon progress from being a farm boy who needs Saphira's help to do basically anything, into basically a demigod who can turn mortal men into mist, and with Saphira and the Eldunarí can basically butt-rape anything in Paolini's universe neatly. This is not so much an issue of specific character abilities or traits, and much more an issue of scaling of power.
