Adyeers went to the Bar and sat down next to two men, both varing in appearance. He heard the women in the doorway and the gentle men next him response. "most that are here are asleep, or are drunk on the floor" he said with a cackle. He then asked the waitress "May I have what I had last night?" and a gem apeared in his hand. He looked to his left. The men next to him both had muttun on their plates. Damn, people sure so like muttun in this gate area He said as he waited for his drink. Then he smelled crushed herbs. He looked at the guy next to him and asked "Is your name Dr. Tavar?"

"You do not need to scream," Ayeka says to Alexis as she moves her hands as a glass of waters appears next to the person who just yelled out loud. She puts some mutton on a plate and puts it in front of Dr. Tavar. She walks behind the bar to mix Adveers's drink, "somepeople do like the taste of mutton." Ayeka says as she put the drink in front of Adveers.

Nickolis smiled and nodded "Doctor Nickolis Tavar Alchemist and dabbler in the dark arts. Might I inquire your name, Sir?" Dr. Tavar moved gracefully into a bow. As he set a coin on the bar. "Miss might I have an Ale. And one of whatever he is having" He said pointing at his new friend at the bar.

Alexis trudges inside and give a quick smile to the woman behind the bar.
@Alisdragon911
@JackRandom
"Hey. Could I have a nice meal and a drink? Anything would do. Oh and also an apple please." She gave a swift nod, threw some coins on the counter and then turned her eyes to the man who she had heard through the door. She slipped herself into the seat next to him quickly as if they were old friends and turned to smile. She flicked a strand of her light brown caramel hair out of her face and crossed her legs. She had left her horse tied just inside the door and even though she was sure that she would be kicked out soon her horse was quiet and didn't leave deep traces of mud so she supposed no one would notice.
"So..."She drew out the word.

"Adyeers Ta'Lou, and it seems you have a visitor." he pointed at the women next to Tavar. "She seems to like you." he wispered. Then he went back to his drink, chuckling in a rasp tone. Mortals, well this ought to be interesting.

Ayeka mix up the same drink that she just gave to Adveers a minute a go. She places the mixed drink in hand and sets it in front of Dr. Tavar. She moves her hands to make the glass bigger for the horse to drink out off. She turns to Alexis, "what can I get for your meal?"

Dr. Tavar looked at the woman. Regarding her with his snake-like eyes. "What brings you to the tavern? Just passing through or just looking for company ?" Dr. Tavar asked a charming grin on his face. He knocked back his drink in one go. Setting it down on the bar he discreetly tapped finger next to his mug.
His face twisted "Oh where are my manners. I am Doctor Nickolis Tavar Royal Alchemist " He offered her his hand. That was crossed with fine old scars. And the thick calluses of a kind that only came from the long hard use of a sword.

A sweet simple melodic tune grew from the gentle hums echoing in the back of a mans dry throat. The song a simple one, was given no credit by this man. His tone was off, timing uneven and rhythm clearly faulty. But he did not care, for what he heard in those vibrational patterns in the air was far different to what played on out in his head...
Memories...

He did not hear the failing song of of a single talentless tired throat crying to a large overwhelming lonely silence, no... There was a ringing, nimble fingers delicately running across the fine ivory keys of a grand luxurious piano. A harmonious interlude with itself as deep chords complimented the fleeting patterns of higher notes.

From the other corner of the room comes a deep vibrational rush, filled with an invigorating energy as it bounces of every wall and pushes the bouncing melody in the mans frail old bones forcing them to move to the bouncing beat.

Then he reaches a part in his song where his croaking hums fall flat and his smile fades, dropping away. He reaches the part of his memory that is bitter sweet. A new instrument sweeps the fray and all others bow down giving it way. A tear rolls from the mans closed eye, down a wrinkle in his dry leathery skin.

In his mind he hears it. The sweet resonating sound that swept a silence over the busy bustling room. All the clutter and chattering that gave the joyous bustling undertone vanishes to awe. The air goes still as breathes are held and all eyes fall captivated.

Unless heard for oneself, one could not begin to understand how much power a single voice could hold. As the vocals smoothly run out over the lips of an angel to bless his simple mortal ears, the other instruments picked back up joining in and accentuating the beautiful master piece that crescendoed into a chorus that everybody knew but no one dared taint.

The song danced around the room like a living fey creature, taunting and teasing, pulling and pushing. It was lively, fun and touching. Layered upon and within itself everyone could find something in it.

It wasn't until the song was over and spirits and minds left a buzz as a moment of magic was experienced by all, the singer had left the stage and musicians had retired, it was then that every voice in the room, drunken or straight, merrily sung the song now stuck in there heads.

The chorus sung by the many jeerful men, rattling the tables and walls as they strained their lungs in merriment, trying to out do one another. This sound sounded more like the old mans song. But this is where his song broke...
He chokes on a breath as he swallows a painful ache.

He wants to go on, he wants to push past it. But he's scared. Scared of what might re surface. Scared of what he might find.

The old man cranes up his clicking neck to look back around the tavern. An empty silent lonely room. In his boney speckled hand he held a dirty dish cloth, wet with polish and dust. Every table shined in a way they hadn't for years.
With nothing left to do now slow steady steps carefully took the old man to the base of the daunting long stairway. As he endeavoured on this tedious quest he fell back into thoughts and memories.

The joyous sound of many merry drunken men once again echoed around the old man as he slipped back into a distant faintly familiar world. The clattering of glasses, the scuffling of feet, the cries of laughter and even the shouts of passing aggression. All of the liveliness. It tugged at his heart while remembering what was only made him further long for all the things now far gone.

So much time had passed it could have just as easily been a dream. But one thing was real for sure. While everything else might be muffled and blurred one memory stood out as clear as the day he first saw it.

The wooden step creeks beneath the mans shaking legs. He leans heavily on the rail to support himself. Halfway up the stairs he pauses before his eyes reach level with the floor. Nerves and excitement creep into his bones like they haven't since his adolescence.

While just a memory, still he is eager to live it, see it, see her. Mustering strength and courage he lets go of the railing as he steps up another step just as he did so many years ago. He finds the music. It locks him to that event so long ago. He takes another step and his eyes find petite feet atop the stairs. His eyes run up the slender legs and over the dress to her face. Nondescript hair surrounds a featureless face....

No! It's not right!

Finding the strength of his younger self the man lunges forward driven by the mad beating of his frantic panicked heart! The noise, that cheerful uplifting chorus drowns away into a murmured bubbling as he pushes forward towards the the faceless figure.

He just wanted to see her again. One last time. Step after step he failed to notice his explosive agility as he reaches for a fleeting memory. It's at his fingertips but he just can't grip her. Diving he wraps his strong arms around her waist but is met only by the floor as he awakens empty handed and heavy hearted from his lost memories.

Time was a cruel mistress, and in this tavern she would run amuck. Dorian knew this better than all else. For he and her had an unpleasant history.
He stood up tall from the floor and brushed the dust from his suit and knees. Twisting from side to side he stretched his nimble back before cracking his neck.

Time was a cruel mistress, even more so in this tavern and worse yet to a man she despised. With a heavy breath Dorian held back a sobbing breath as his hand pressed against his eyes blocking wayward tears.

Time was cruel. Making him live the memories he had not yet even earned. Gathering himself he looks back down the steps and over the empty tavern floor. It was empty bow but he knew it would not be for long. For he was still young and he knew patrons, employees and excitement hid just meters away behind every door. This lifted his heart but could not fill the pain of loss that had dug its way in there.

He knew what awaited him, the pleasant, the painful and the fear.

"For dinner...Well, I say get me your best stack of pancakes and some bacon; Nothing like breakfast for dinner!" Alexis smiles at her.
"Oh! And also...would it be okay if you fed the apple to the horse tied up there? She has a sweet temperament so she's not dangerous or anything." Alexis gestures towards her horse who was nickering softly.
@JackRandom
"As for why I'm here I just needed some company, you're right. Would you be so kind as to provide it? And nice to meet you, Dr. I'm Alexis Shebaltar." She shook his hand, gripping it hard with her own calloused palm. She had always wielded a dagger in all her years and that was also tucked in her belt. She called it Roseree after the person who had gifted it to her a long time ago, a maiden who had been stuck in cave; Rescued by Alexis herself who was on her way to get Ferrberries for the potion she was concocting.
@Dark Light
Suddenly Alexis hears a sound...something. She looks wildly around the tavern before she raises a finger to her lips, drawing her dagger and sparking up a small flame on her other hand.

Ayeka nears a noise and her ears twitch, she guess it could be Dorian. "Coming right up," Ayeka says as she walks into the kitchen. She thinks to herself as sad as the Tavern is mostly empty this evening as she crack some eggs. At least cooking got her mind off the thought of being alone. She puts the stack of pancakes and bacon on a tray. Ayeka walks out of the kitchen and puts the tray in front of Alexis. She walks over to the horse and feeds the sweet horse.

Alexis gestures at Ayeka, who once upon hearing the noise didn't sound that bothered by it.
"Do you happen to know what that sound was?" The fire was extinguished from her palm as quickly as it came, leaving behind a tiny red smudge, a reminder of what had happened. She hefted the dagger in her other hand, placing it on the table.
She devoured the pancakes and bacon, savouring the taste in her mouth before draining her drink. Her horse was already settling in for a nap so she turned back to Ayeka, waiting for her answer.

Анна

Анна was awoken from her peaceful slumber by the shaking of everything around her. The tree, so firmly planted into the ground her body weight never could push against it, buzzed. Wobbling she arose to her feet, the animals she stayed with had scurried away, into the open fields and there she followed holding on to everything and then when she got into the opening nothing. Her old home crashed behind her casting the woman a-stray into the fields as all the shaking had stopped suddenly.

She once more rose from the ground, Stumbling towards the only safe harbor she found left, what her last resort always humanity. Tripping apon things she knew better than to trip on, adding more injuries to for her to heal. The building the only thing she didnt see as blurry, in so she rushed towards it.

Arriving at said safety with a large crash and a few wounds covering her hands in blood.

"It must be Dorian, he gets depress if there is not a lot of people is not at his tavern." Ayeka says to Alexis as her ears twitches as she looks at the door, she thinks it is a wild animal knock over some decoration hanging from somewhere on the porch. Ayeka leaves Alexis to open the front door of the tavern. She notices a women sprawl out on the floor of the porch with bloody hands. "Alexis, give me a hand with this wounded lady."

Alexis trudges over to where Ayeka is standing and gives a small inaudible gasp.
"What in the world happened to you?" She rushes back inside the Tavern, finding a couple of bandages in a rusty old box behind the counter. She also grabs a glass bottle filled with a mysterious blue liquid that she wishes to be antiseptic.
She rushes back outside, pouring the liquid into the cap of the bottle and dousing the woman's hand with it. She passes the bandages to Ayeka and takes a deep breath.
What had happened to her?!

A rift tore open in the middle of all the tenants closest to the bar and tossed out a mercenary man who landed promptly on his feet. He twisted around swiftly and fired his SpaceMachineGun into the portal on full auto. As the portal was dissipating the man noticed without much notice the patrons around him when the portal began to hinder itself- so he stopped firing.
The portal was gone.
He stared at the occupants for a little, swiveling his head about to take it all in - even refaced himself.
He was now looking at the bar.
A grin stitched up.

He walked up to the bar, bent an elbow and slid into place.

"Do you speak English?" he said to the bartender.

She was awake yet threw the loud noises of people coming to her aid. Though thoroughly exhausted from all of her activity's just the day before.

A new spark of pain had jolted the woman back to the real world as one of her aids poured something over her hands. With an animals whimper she reeled her arms into her chest, uncaring of their state of uncleanlyness. Disparting from the two farther into the tavern at the scare. Examining her situation to find, well not so much find but she was looking for a place to retreat and tend her wounds. An empty table made a shelter well enough.

From her quick observation only one other was in the tavern versus the two girls at the door. A man demanding something to a bartender. She couldn't make out.

It was humans who could come to her aid, but sometimes they don't do much good, at least in her point of view.

@ineffable@RedBellyBSnake@Alisdragon911

'Is this not the same place where that big wolf was? ' she pondered, maybe she could find out what had happened to it, as for her the thing had just disappeared a strange man taking its place. Was that man a friend now? After the many moons she hadnt seen him in. For in her regulsr life losing animal friends was as easy as not making her presense known everyday. Werewolves/lucans are a thing completely unheard of by her. Along with many other fantasticical creatures that could appear in a magical tavern.

He got a drink. Surveyed the surroundings.

Death Knight playing card games with Warlocks, A Cyclops holding an open flame within the palm of his hands sitting alone at a round table inbetween several nooks, some wolf being with a greataxe was approaching him, by the looks of it.

The wolf also in commando gear squished beside the Space Marine. "I am Lt. Colonel Greyrain. I saw what happened and would love to hear your story." He laid his axe at the bars roots next to the Marines blaster.

The Space Marine drank a good hefty swallow of it. "Name's, Sebastian. Sebastian Shadows. Major, sorry- Major Sebastian Shadows. I was fighting on my dreadnaught during slipspace. My Captain had found a wormhole just in time to make a real escape from an alien threat, but it closed on us slicing the ship in two. I was on the latter half. Just as the invading party began to land. I couldn't get out of the Galley, doors automatically seal when the hull is breached. Just me and the S.A.W. As I ran into the enemies landing ship the wormhole re-opened... or some sort of minor glyph... Next thing I know I end up here. Turn around and well you know how it's done, Colonel."

The grey wolf stared for a moment longer before turning to the bartenders and ordering 4 bottles of some Nebula Floozy. "Come with me. I have a booth down by the fountain. My men are currently away on a mining platform, scrounging for gas. I will help you find your Army."

And together they left towards the booth.

Sitting opposite of each other he slid a bottle across the table to the Major. "My condolences. Never easy losing so much." Said Col. Greyrain.

Having found a corkscrew on the table he unscrew the bottle. "When was your last genocide?" Said Major Shadows.

A curious eyebrow lifted on Greyrain. "Humor, so early? You really are of the Black Hole Rangers." he said pointing to a patch on his shoulder.

Major Shadows got it open but didn't take a drink. He slid it back to the wolf. The wolf glugged it down gluttonously before sliding it back to him.

He took a sip. "Where are we?"

"It's like a space warp Tavern. Yes, they do exist. Surprised me, too."
... and so their conversation began.

Ayeka Watches the girl scrambles under the table to hide. She has a feeling just leave her alone intill she came out. She puts the bandages in her apron pockets that Alexis gave her and walks over to the bar. She notices a new guy who is talking to a werewolf and having a nice conversation. Ayeka is thinking to herself keep a eye or ear open to see what they are up to.

Slowly one after another, the stairs creaked eerily under the vestige of a passing heavy weight. One by one the old polished wood groaned, it's cries descending ever nearer towards the tavern floor.

Just out of sight the moving body stopped. The creaking gave way to silence and the soft short sharp inhale of air being sucked up into ones nostrils could be heard. It repeated again and again with a stubborn yet concerned curiosity.

...

"Fuck! Dorian's gonna kill me."

...

The words broke his silence in a short sharp whisper. Spat out with disappointment and regret. The man then quickly descended the stairs and came to look upon the crowd. He was an intimidating figure, tall and well built. Tattoos peeked out from under his clothing, piercing eyes surveying the scene, darting around looking for something.

An near empty glass bottle caught his eye. Moving quickly with purpose he went over snatching it. Ignoring the commotion around him he eyed the few remaining blue droplets and as he did, frustration and worry took a hold of his face.

For a moment he was rendered speechless.

"Oh, thank Cordien you're okay." Alexis gives out a sigh before standing up, brushing the specks of dust from her pants. She held out a hand for the woman to take.
"I'm afraid I've not introduced myself yet. My name's Alexis. I'm one of the Drakon hunters, if you know what those are?"
Alexis was pretty sure no one around here was from where she lived. It was a strange tavern, this one was but if anything all she needed was some rest and good company.
@Dark Light
Her sharp eyes latched onto a huge figure, face frozen in an expression of almost fear. Her brows crinkled as she eyed him suspiciously, noting the number of tattoos that ran up his arms and the muscles rippling through his clothing. The bottle that he had directed his attention to look normal. It was almost empty, left for some bright blue liquid at the bottom.
Alexis gasped.
@Alisdragon911
"Drakon Shit." It was the so called antiseptic that she had handed to the bartender type girl. And with the expression she'd seen on the man's face it was probably not good.
