In some odd posts as we get closer to Ledale [Leddale?], I'll be doing brief inserts of post reflections for the Deep Inside hunt. I hinted within my first post of Liesabet having returned from such two weeks prior to the present; anyone else is welcome to join.

What were you thinking about? The only 'rules' so far is what you'll find in the character sheet. They have to be connected to your main character somehow, otherwise you'd need to make a new character sheet.

We're moving relatively fast by my standards, but I'll move us forward soon. Right now we're in a dangerous zone of roleplaying. It's that time when the 'hype' has fully died, so the risk of players dropping is high. We'll power through it, though! My next post has to be pretty perfect to combat this.

@Prisk - Oh shit, had to scroll back a page. Totally forgot you wanted in on it too with Celise. We can wait on it, till we get closer to Leddale and engage in some conversation pieces that strike up the memory, considering the location of the mines and the resources that were meant to be secured and now within threat from the spread. In my head, Liesabet and Celise haven't been around each all that much since the conclusion of the hunt. Said conclusion left to whatever happens in our flashbacks.

Also, gives an opportune moment to show how flashbacks can work and coincide with the story.

I'm actually drafting the first note for Liesabet's extensive Chronicle, starting with some family lore.

I know that zone! I've been the sole survivor of that zone many times. :(.

Though I know a little excitement usually keeps that zone away.
Let me (or us) know if there's anything we can help do to combat the zone. @Prisk

Hah, that's sweet. There really isn't anything you have to do. It's sort of my job to keep you around. But, getting a few decent sources of inspiration for the roleplay is always good! For example, I have the FF7 soundtrack and the FF15 game to fire up when I need inspiration for this!

@Prisk I donno. I didn't have anything in mind in particular. I know that it was mentioned previously as a possibility, but I wasn't sure if there were any special rules to consider while thinking about anything.

Actually, I lied, there are two or three characters I am thinking of, but two of them actually run pretty close to fulfilling the same sort of role that Ajax does, so there isn't much point in playing that character here. However, I think that I can merge two ideas together to make that character different enough... Nothing concrete enough to worry about sharing though.

I have some errands today, but I intend to write my next post anyway. Might have to split it up, though, between today and tomorrow. I was hoping to get another reply from @Rizza and @Rockette before this, but they can do it retroactively. It works just as well. This is why we have the flashback thing, so that nobody has to 'miss' any interactions.

Upon admission to the Intelligence Division, the identities of its students become classified and their names redacted from all official documents.


I am changing my post as I re-read this, Montero may be apt at this world's equivalent of Googling but I doubt he can find out their real identities with just the use of his phone or within such a short period of times. If at all.

My bad, I didn't read and remember that little detail.

Hence, only their nicknames are known to him! :D. For now. >:).

I like reading the intros often and also wondered why the two of them had weird, totally unrelated nicknames.

Like what is a pardosa? Can I eat it? The heck is anvarUlvar? Throat medicine? Steroids?:>.

Pardosa is a genus of spider. Some of which function during winter. In the snow.

Less obvious than "Snow Spider" so I went with that instead.

It also rolls off the tongue :)

Again, my next day off is Wednesday and Thursday this week. But, I might be able to get a post out on Monday evening since I only open the bar that morning. I really wanted to squeeze one in before the transitional bit, but if need be, I can just work with whatever happens.

Note. - Ulva is Liesabet's name in Intelligence, it literally translate to "she-wolf" in her native tongue, which is Russian/German familiar in this verse.
Hint to family origins and lore.
