Monstahunta, how you make such good art?
These are pretty much scribblings actually. (^_^)'
I try to do these in 20-30 minutes, (most are done in around 12), and a normal drawing for me normally takes a few hours to even look decent. (Not good, just decent). Although sometimes I get lucky and stuff turns out decent earlier than expected.
As I posted a little while back though, the trick is to not give up, and learn the areas that you need to improve in.
Basically it boils down to:
1. Draw some stuff.
2. Look at the stuff.
3. Find out what you did wrong.
4. No seriously, look harder. There's more there.
5. If you make it to here, and you can comfortably analyze your work, and find the flaws, then you're doing good. Now think about how to fix them.
6. Try to fix the mistakes.
7. Look up how other people draw what you are drawing, and how they avoid the mistakes, or use an image as a reference to help you see what you should do to fix your drawing.
8. Repeat steps 1-7.
