Okay, she wants me to help her break out of here. Not gonna happen, sister- but I can at least be diplomatic about it. "I'd need to know what these inscriptions mean if I'm going to dispel the enchantment," Molly said, "and breaking spells is something I'm really bad at, anyway. Give me the information, though, and I'll give it a shot."

"You've got a really beautiful accent, I must say. Irish?

"I cannae say I know witchcraft well enough to say what it does other than stop Seers" Alice shook her head "and nae Irish, I'm from Glasgow. Scotland. I'll ask at the desk I guess"

And with that she turned and walked past everyone, straight to the sign-in desk and says "oi, when are ye taking these bloody braclets off me? This ain't fair! I'm hardly gonna run away am I?"@candlelitcraft

Natalie Mansfield

Natalie found herself sorting through the thousands of questions she had in her mind, trying to decide which ones were most important and which could wait. She didn't want to waste too much of Thelma's time. "Okay, first off, am I going to stay sixteen forever?" She asked, looking down at herself. Previously she had been so excited to finally be an adult, to go off and do what she wanted, when she wanted. She didn't know if that was ever going to happen.

"Also, these fangs..." She said, running her tongue over them. "Can I ever put them away? Or are they always there?" She asked. Natalie's fangs weren't big at all, probably baby fangs in vampire terms, but they wouldn't go away. She wanted to ask about the thirst, if it ever went away. It was so intense all the time, sometimes it was like she could see the blood rushing through a persons veins. She hated it. But she was too embarrassed to ask straight away.

Lilac smiled sympathetically at the girl before her.

"I'm sorry, dear, but that's not up to me. The people who fund this camp have made the decision that you'll have to wear them all summer except for in Abilities classes. I tried to get some lenience for you, but they wouldn't have it. I did my best, but I'm afraid you'll just have to live with it for the next two months. If anyone gives you a hard time about them, though, let me know and we'll address the issue."

Thelema sighed softly, remembering worrying about all these things herself.

"You won't age anymore, but you can still be an adult. You'll have to get a fake ID every few years and can probably never pass as older than 21, but the branch of government that deals with Leoh will hook you up with that." She folded her arms.

"As far as fangs go, you can retract them like I do. They'll become bigger as you feed more. I'll teach you how to retract them in your Abilities lessons," she paused, "Anything else?"

"That's not fair though is it? I'm hardly the bloody worst one here!" Alice thrust her wrists forward "I know you can do it. Please, take them off. This is an unfair punishment. I cannae just flee can I? I'd nae last a day."

She looked at Lilac sadly.

"Please. I came with nae a fuss, I've been good. Don't I deserve a chance? Just one?"

'Never pass as older than 21'. Natalie found herself sighing softly as she bit her bottom lip. That's it. I'm never ever going to get older. she said to herself in her head. "Oh, right..." She said, then listened as she was told about her fangs. She let out a breath of relief as she found out she'd be able to make them retract. Thank god.

"There is one more thing, actually. I'm always really... hungry. Like, super hungry. I guess you get what I mean. Sometimes it burns so bad. I look at people... and it's like I can see the blood in their bodies. It hardly ever stops. Is there anywhere here I can umm, sort that out? And will it always be like that?"

Lilac frowned, feeling bad for the girl. "You're right, you do deserve a chance. However, it isn't in my power to release you. I can get you in contact with those who have that power, and you can try to convince them, but that's the best I can do. I'm sorry."

"The hunger is hard to resist at first, but you'll grow more tolerant. As you feed more, you'll be able to go longer stretches of time without needing to again. I only have to feed twice a week." She put a comforting hand on Natalie's shoulder, "It takes a while, but you'll get there. I understand how uncomfortable it is. Would you like me to get you something to eat now? Some humans who know about us donate blood so we don't have to drink anyone's blood against their will."

"A seer? That's... odd." Molly commented. "Why on earth would they need to prevent you from getting visions?" She was genuinely confused; there didn't seem to be anything inherently dangerous about Alice's powers.

"Then do that. Please" Alice finally stood back, rubbing her wrists "how long will it take?"

She sighs, looking at Molly (@shagranoz) and motioning her over.

"Once this is sorted" Alice said to Molly "I'm nae a normal Seer, and my kind are nae your typical Seer either."

"I'll try to get you a meeting with them sometime this week so you can testify your case, but I can't promise that it will be that soon," She paused, "I'd be glad to help you figure out the best way to testify in your favor."

"But don't hold me breath, right?" Alice huffed "what a right bunch of dishonest people you are. Come here, be good, don't be a bad person no more. Right, and be a prisoner against me will even though I willingly came and could have escaped with nae an issue. This whole situation fills me with trust in you all."

She turned away, angry.

Emilia Tendo
-- Day One || Morning || The Mess Hall --

Emilia seized her jumping at the sight of one of the counselors leaning forward in her direction. He looked rather normal for the most part, save for pointy ears. She couldn't help but tilt her head a bit when he pointed in the direction behind her, turning around just as quickly to see where she was. Pink hair...pink hair...well, great. Emilia wasn't going to outright say she could only see green, but the look on her face made it a little obvious. Turning back around to face the counselor, Emilia sighed.
"Gee...thanks mister." She had no right to blame him for not knowing, but she couldn't help it. All she knew was that Tempest was in line. Rolling her eyes at the sound of hearing Keegan hadn't swung by yet, Emilia let out a groan. "...My brother. He's sharing a room with him...Just ask him to look for me, thanks." Emilia didn't plan on saying anything else as she already turned to leave, now walking toward the lunch line. Walking along the side of said line, the black haired doll looking up at all of the girls she passed, in hopes that one of them would just scream "Tempest". "Hm...Tempest, Tempest, Tempest..." She hummed slowly.

"Alice, please, I'm sorry I can't do anything more immediately. I understand how frustrating this must be for you. Camp Remedy was founded so that you could be free to be yourself, free from the restrictions of the mortal world," She was almost pleading for Alice to understand, "I promise you I will do whatever I can to get those cuffs off of you, but the government has more control over the camp than me. I will help you however I can. I believe you deserve a chance to show that you are better than a petty thief like they think you are. Please, give me a chance to help."

Tempest fiddled idly with the earbud that wasn't in her ear and held her tray with her free hand. The camp hadn't been so populated the previous summers she had been there, and she all she could think about was how long the line for the showers would be.

Her plan to make the best of the summer wasn't going so well.

She was scanning the mess hall for kids she might be interested in getting to know, since she needed to make a new group of friends, even if they wouldn't replace her friends from last year, who had been so freaking cool. They had been part of the reason she was as cool as she was now. She had learned from them. Honestly, she would've been excited about coming back if the camp took eighteen year olds. At this point she was just happy that she was still in contact with them, though she had only been texting and video chatting with them for the past year.

She was lost in her thoughts and worries about how different the camp would be this summer when she heard someone saying her name. Normally she'd figure she'd just been imagining it, since she didn't really know anyone, but when she heard it more than once she figured someone was actually looking for her. She looked around to find the culprit but didn't see anyone. That is, until she looked down. There walked a tiny girl who didn't even reach Tempest's hips, muttering her name over and over to herself.

"Do you need something?" Tempest asked the girl, wondering what on earth a seven year old was doing here.

Molly sighed as Alice tried, and failed, to get herself uncuffed. "I'll do what I can to help you, Alice, but we should really get ourselves unpacked for the time being. Besides, you're going to need to be able to present your best arguments, and you can't do that when you're pissed off." She turned and headed down towards the cabins. Whether or not Alice followed was her choice.

Torok sat with his legs crossed quietly in the small patch of grass, the distant chatter of everyone in the mess hall seemed to drown each other out. Vines and flowers crawled up along his legs and his torso virtually covering him almost entirely, if this were to continue he would soon look like a small bush. The boy had no worries, this was how he slept, and he could also gain some nutrition this way as well. Yet the peace and serenity he was trying to keep himself in tune with was interrupted with a voice and a question.

Another student had questions for him, it wasn’t the first time someone new confused him for staff after all he was rather large and had a nearly full beard. He was quiet for a time after the boys question and at first seemed to not even acknowledge the other boys' presence. “Mason” he thought to himself, opening his eyes he slowly looked up at him. Torok’s eyes were entirely black, his gaze was not piercing but uneasy. As if stepping to close, would surrender the other person to an empty dark abyss. He did not say anything or make any attempt to shake the boy’s hand he simply stared at the other boy who with his heavy jacket and lighter hair that seemed a bit uneasy in the direct sunlight.

Slowly without braking eye contact a small vine brought itself up from his lap with a packet entangled in its grasp. The packet being identical to Masons reads “For Torok Citadel, Elemental Guardian” on the front this basically stating who and what he is to the other boy. The vine seemed to point towards his booklet then back towards the mess hall with everyone else, a subtle way of saying ‘go back inside for questions.’ After a few more moments the vine descended, and He looked back down closing his eyes as he continued with his meditation. Truthfully Torok wasn’t trying to be rude he just didn’t wish to talk to anyone, especially someone who basically just woke him up and interrupted his lunch at the same time.

"Alright...just, get it arranged quickly please" Alice sighed, annoyed still but nothing that can be done "thanks for...caring, I guess. Can I have me schedule?"

She smiled at Molly, and once she received her schedule she nodded. "At least me campmate is cute. Shall we go? I could do with a strong drink, unless me alcohol has also been taken. Shall we go?" she motioned ahead of her towards the camp

Mason scowled slightly at the brusque response, but took the hint, and made his way back to the main area, shuddering both at the sunlight and the boy's unnerving eyes. Apparently his cabin-mate was some kind of zen giant, and the most unnatural of anyone he'd run into yet, excepting perhaps the little people that stuck together for the most part.

It was a strange moment, realizing that no one else seemed to be as monstrous as he. A few girls seemed pale, and had slightly evident canines, and the doll-looking children were bizarre, but nothing so fearsome-looking as his natural state. It was a fearful realization. He had expected to be the most normal one there, but it was looking more and more likely that this would not be the case. Indeed, unless he was mistaken, he was quite possibly the most monstrous of the campers here.

It was at this moment that Mason made a decision. He had to learn how to keep his true form in check. If these people saw him in his full-gargoyle state, they would surely ostracize him, and he couldn't take that chance. He'd just have to keep to the shade and hope that the night wasn't too inviting.

Eventually, despite his reflection, he made his way back to the check-in area, where he sighted the doll-like girl he'd noticed earlier. Where was the male one? Hmm. It hardly mattered. He started in that direction, then noticed a pink-haired girl beginning conversation with her, and began to change direction to avoid too large of a commitment to conversation. With another glance, though, he noticed that the older girl was... quite cute. His natural instincts kicked back in, and he was drawn to the attractive young lady like... well, like a teenaged boy to a cute girl.

With an impressively well-mannered cough, he interrupted the conversation between the two, and put on his best show of well-meaning confusion, smiling congenially and attempting to put forth an image of someone who was lost, but willing to put forth an effort to find his way. This wasn't remotely difficult, as that was almost exactly his situation.

"Pardon me, miss and miss. I'm new here, and I'm afraid I don't know anyone. Do you know where we're supposed to be at the moment?" He put forth one hand to shake, quite ignoring the smaller girl, who he pegged as a younger sister to some camper, likely not to stay for the full camp. "I'm Mason, if that helps any." He did his best to let only the slightest hint of his accent through, as he found that too much made him unintelligible, while a taste of the French curl to pronunciation functioned almost like a spice, adding flavor to his otherwise-unremarkable sentences.
