@KazemitsuAnything part human part animal. Mermaids, harpies, catgirls, werewolves, lamia, pretty much anything you can think of as long as it stems off being part animal.

I decided to go ahead and get the IC up since I pre-rote it ages ago. We'll start with what we got and everyone else who decides to join can jump in as we go. Most adventures start with like two people anyway. Then it ends up with a group gathered along the way. That said, you guys are probably going to bump heads at first since the goal right now is to get the goddess shard and/or the pirates who stole it two years ago and claim the huge reward...or steal it for yourself. Whatever suits your characters fancy.

Yeah, I'm just writing up my character. I tend to like to see other peoples characters first as it sets the tone and all for me, at least.

Other than the more magical aspects of the world, more common but still skilled people and civilizations use techniques such as chi; Manipulation and in some cases, weaponization of ones life force, and Telekinesis; Effecting the physical world without making physical contact. These traits are present in everyone though not everyone chooses to awaken them.
