Shokuhou Misaki

"..."
Something was wrong. Something was definitely wrong. And not in the usual sense of the word; at least, not for her—Misaki Shokuhou, the number 5 Level 5 ESPer of Academy City: 'Mental Out'. Maybe it'd be just a 'little' wrong if it was that Misaka Mikoto that was caught in this mess, but her? No way. This was probably the worst case scenario for her.

'This', of course, being spontaneously dropped into what looked to be... Shibuya? The Shibuya 109 right in front of her, coupled with the giant amount of people crossing to and fro in the intersection in the middle even with evening apparently fast approaching more or less confirmed the young woman's premonitions. If something didn't feel off, then she might have to get her head checked; maybe do it herself, if it came down to it. But whatever the situation was just moments ago didn't matter as much as getting out of this jumbled crossing and getting her bearings straight. There were cases of messes in Academy City as of late, but this? This was something else entirely.

"...Hmph. Well, at least no one seems to be too bothered by my presence," Misaki said to herself, flitting about through the crowd to try and get into a less hectic location. It wasn't like she had any contacts outside of Academy City anyhow, so finding a way back was probably her first priority.
...
Or, well it should have been. If she was going to end up in Tokyo, she may as well make the most of it, right?

"Okay, I've decided. I'll go window shopping for a while before trying to figure out what's going on here. Worst comes to worst, I can just borrow some stranger's time and ask them, right?" she said with a sly grin before casually walking back into the crowd and towards the 109.

Hey, if she was in the fashion center of Tokyo, may as well make the most of it, right?

Leonardo Watch

With a bag of fast food in hand and a slight shift of his head towards the skyline, the young man let out a sigh before glancing downwards. Zapp had chucked him out on a little "errand" to get him some food for a stakeout, but midway through he had gotten wrapped up in another mess... Or, well, was something of a bystander to one as he casually grabbed the meal he had come for. Thankfully, 24-hour fast food restaurants were a thing. As he continued walking on and the sun began to peek over the horizon, Leo came to a stop and stared for a few moments at the perfectly clear horizon in front of him.

"Hey, Sonic... Do you ever remember the sunrise in Hellsalem's Lot ever being this... Clear? And... Not covered in fog?" he asked, glancing over at the little monkey casually sitting on his shoulder. The animal responded with a shrug of its own before running down Leo's arm and pulling a french fry out of the bag before making its way back up and beginning to nibble on it.

"No, huh...? Well, I guess I should head baaaaaaaaaaaa..." he trailed off, looking around left and right before noticing the complete lack of any of the more otherworldly residents of Hellsalem's Lot around. While the city itself looked very similar, there was something notably DIFFERENT in this one.

"This isn't good. I have to find Klaus or Zapp or someone and figure out what's going on," Leo said to himself before taking off in a sprint towards the building Libra was situated in. Maybe something else had happened here, but... Before meeting up with them, it was too early to make sure of anything.

Hinanawi Tenshi

"...I heard from Iku earlier that the whole incident with the Outside World and that invader was over, but... Was she wrong?"

The blue-haired celestial sighed and walked down a paved street of some sort, her dress pulling looks from bystanders left and right as she strolled ahead with nary a care in the world. She couldn't help but be a little excited about being here, after all; it was such a disappointment that she hadn't gotten a chance to take part in that 'occult ball' madness, but here she was without needing to go through all the trouble of beating up other Gensokyo residents for that chance. There was probably an earful waiting for her once she got back to Gensokyo, but for right now, curiosity took priority. The giant steel building and relatively well-kept people looking at her through strange devices (something that the kappa might have based some of their more recent inventions off of?) were pretty high on the list, but the amount of attention she was getting here compared to... Well, anywhere in Gensokyo? Far more. Yes, far more.

"...Hm... Well, I don't think there's any immediate need to cause trouble and get in a fight or whatever, so... Right! Let's just wander around. Though, er... Maybe all this attention might be a bit worriso-"

"Ah... Er... Excuse me!"

Before Tenshi could finish musing to herself, a young man walked up to her and began to speak. This, of course, caught her off guard, but before she could think of drawing her blade out, the person began to speak.

"That cosplay looks really great—like, seriously great! Do you mind if I took a picture with you?"

"A pic... Oh, right. A picture. I... Don't believe it would hurt?"

"Great, then hold on a sec!"

The conversation had taken a notably different turn from what the young woman had expected, and though her only memories of the term 'photo' involved that annoying tengu, it wasn't as if the Outside World's cameras would be more of a nuisance than flashing light, right?
...
On the other hand, there was the issue of the newspapers from that same tengu, but... Well, the world 'cosplay' had caught her attention. Well, no harm, no foul, right?

"Okay, my friend's gonna take the picture, alright?" the person followed, gesturing to the companion in question before getting into position and took a position next to Tenshi. While she wasn't exactly pleased at being treated as an equal (she was a celestial, after all), she would bear with it; it's not as if they knew any better, after all. Maybe this was some form of worship, in a sense?

As the young man's friend finished counting down, Tenshi turned to the 'camera' and smiled, bracing herself internally for the flash that never came. This, of course, left her confused as the young man's friend gave a thumbs up and the initial one, after a bow and a 'thank you very much', walked off to go... Somewhere else.

...Huh. That was strange. Maybe it would be something to inquire about late-

"Excuse me!"
Before her thoughts could continue, the young woman was interrupted by another young man who also had one of those 'cameras' in hand. And he, in turn would ask the same question as the one from before.

Except this time, there was a small crowd forming around her eagerly awaiting the current person to be done.

"...This might be a bit troublesome. Maybe it's time to make them stand down?" she thought to herself before nodding. Yes, this was how things worked in Gensokyo, so there was no reason for it to not work here, right?

With a flourish of her right hand, Tenshi pulled the Sword of Hisou out of what appeared to be thin air before slamming it onto the ground in front of her with a modicum of force—enough to dent the pavement, but no more. But instead of leaving her be, the crowd was filled with 'oohs' and 'aahs' instead. And was gradually increasing in size with that display of force.

...

That was... A mistake. Well, it seemed as if the only way out of this was to either fly out of just deal with it, but...

"...Oh, alright, I'll bear with this for now. The Outside World's culture certainly is strange, isn't it...?" Tenshi sighed as the next person moved over to take a picture with her. Even if this looked to be tiring for the moment, well... All this attention wasn't bad, either.

But how many people were there that wanted to take pictures?! Even for the Outside World, this... Wasn't this a bit much?

Emilio Michaelov

Tokyo Tower

"Hngn. Where am I? Something is wrong..." He watched the city of Tokyo from the top of the Tokyo tower, and how lively it was with all the cars driving below. Something about how peaceful it seemed bothered him.

"Is this really New York? No. Does not look like it." Emilio furrowed his eyebrows and then offered a smile as his spectral wings manifested and he leapt from the building and he began to take flight from there down towards a lower located building where he could inspect things abit closer. The building just below the tower held a sign.

"Tokyo...tower? That's right! This is then Japan? So where to go now? Heh.. Let's go and see what can be found."

Alberich

Forest north of Three Palace Sanctuaries

"What is this place? What's going on? This is not my homeland Asgard." Alberich stopped in his tracks to take some glances around, all around him were trees and none of them were snow filled. Not even the ground was covered in snow.

"Has Shiryu been able to deceive me? No this is not him. Another saint?" Alberich closed his eyes and placed his sword in front of him trying to reach out and feel any nearby cosmos. His eyes flung open. He couldn't feel anyone at all. How could this be possible? Alberich took his left hand before his mouth and pondered on other possiblities.

"Have I been sent to another dimension? A bronze saint would not be strong enough to- That means there must have been a gold saint which-" Alberich tightened his hands, one tightening around the grip of his crystal-like blade.

"You dare deceive me! I am a god warrior!" Alberich began to run forth, taking a leap up on a branch of a nearby tree, sighting a building in the distance. You will pay dearly for this... Saints of Athena. I will collect all the Odin Sapphires and defeat Hilda with the Balmung sword... then all shall bow to me in worship.

Menomaru

Gate of Daitokuin Mausoleum

Menomaru looked around himself in some confusion. "Hari. Ruri." His calls for his servants were not answered.

Tch... What has happened here? Where is the remains of the great Hyoga...?
Menomaru thought to himself then began to command forth his moths and surrounding himself in them, before sending them out to spy for him.

"Find the remains of the great Hyoga. Find me the fang of destruction. Find out where we are." The moths began to scatter and fly off in all manner of directions. Some carried slightly away by the wind.

— Yoyogi Park, Shibuya —

A lurid tear opened in the air leaking the silver fires of chaos. Out of the rent tumbled a figure that flailed in the air momentarily before impacting a body of water.

It remained still for several heartbeats as the scar in the air slowly sealed itself shut without a trace. Then it stirred, lifting itself up onto hands and knees, head just above the water.

"Ugh... Mael's Spit."

Quick Ben pushed himself back to sit in the water than only rose to midway up his chest. This wasn't a familiar location, which wasn't exactly unusual for him. Something had obviously gone wrong and the air still stank of chaos. It would be a while before he attempted to travel by warren again.

The mage stood up, dripping water as he made his way out of what turned out to be a small pond and onto shore. He stepped over a rope barrier as people on the path stared. Not wanting the attention he called upon shadow and vanished from sight as he entered the treeline and headed east.

At least that one worked properly. Now he needed to find a place to have a drink and find out where he was.

Evangeline A. K. McDowell - Tokyo

It was your everyday sort of park, one that you could envision being full of children under slightly different circumstances. Instead, the swings Sat empty, disturbed only by a slight breeze. An artist might have considered the setting a perfect view to capture childhood nostalgia, the park the best subject now as there was nobody to ruin the view.

The illusory artist would have been sadly frustrated by the sudden and unexpected arrival of a blonde figure. The decidedly voluptuous figure climbed to her feet, already running down a mental lost to see who could possibly have forcibly summoned her anywhere. This was the real Evangeline, not some scroll-bound construct, which left a list consisting of...

Nobody. The only person with such capabilities had been dealt with for now. She was the strongest, undefeated magician of evil. But someone had pulled off this feat... but at least she was still in Japan, things hadn't changed so drastically.

Evangeline wasn't alone for long with her thoughts. Two other figures, a seemingly overdressed child and... a knight in armour? If anything, that would imply that somehow residents of the Magical World had been pulled here, if the armour was any indication.

And wasn't that more disturbing?

Mordred, Tokyo

It was a very strange sensation, deeply unlike that of being summoned, and yet it felt somehow familiar.

The blonde-haired, armored girl, though she would have been quite unhappy to be referred to as such, suddenly found herself in a situation entirely unfamiliar. She was no longer in the air-conditioned halls of Chaldea, wearing her armor only because she felt like sparring(she wasn't in the best of moods already, to be frank). No, this was some... park? Somewhere? Where the hell was it.

Mordred Pendragon, the self-proclaimed greatest knight, stared at her surroundings. This wasn't Chaldea. This wasn't Chaldea at all. This was some park. Why the hell was she in some park?

"What the hell is this?!" the blonde knight snapped, angrily turning on her heel to look about. There was no-one except some lady over by a playground and... and him.

Mordred folded her arms.

"Oh, so you're here too?" she asked, with a glare, as she stared down at her fellow Servant. Hans Christian Andersen, an ally as a Servant who was also summoned by their Master, and yet... "I'm surprised you're not trying to drink yourself into a drunken stupor already or something. Hmph. What the hell is this?! Some kind of mini-singularity or something?!"

Angrily, Mordred spun on her heel as she looked about once more. It was just... it looked like a park in some modern city or something. The signs were... Japanese? Naturally, as a Servant, she had been gifted with the knowledge to speak Japanese on being summoned by a Japanese Master, but this wasn't exactly a familiar situation.

It was only now that the Saber-class Servant realized something terrible. Wherever they had ended up...

The contract with their Master was no longer present. The moment this realization came to her, the blonde-haired girl staggered, sudden weakness filtering through her frame. In a shower of red sparks her armor seemed to simply vanish, leaving her in nothing more then the tube top and shorts she'd been wearing prior to calling her armor.

"Y-you're kidding..." she shuddered as she fell to her knees. "L-like hell I'm just going to fade away...!"

And yet, without a contract, something to hold her here until she could reunite with her Master, Mordred could not maintain a physical form or a presence in the world. Her body was already beginning to fade at the tips of her fingers, as her strength drained and she fell forward onto all fours.

... No, she wasn't going to... she couldn't just allow herself to fade away, she had to get back to her Master... no self-respecting Knight would let it end with this!

Moriya Suwako, New York

Perhaps Leo wasn't entire correct when he said there was no-one otherworldy around. Though in fairness, the one in question was perhaps not one of the most unusual and otherworldly individuals, a little blonde girl hardly being out of the ordinary, the hat bearing a large pair of blinking eyes would likely draw some kind of attention.

Moriya Suwako wasn't quite sure where she'd ended up. But, as she was wont to do, she took it in stride. There was a lot of people around here, and it certainly looked like neither Gensokyo or the outside world... at least, not the outside world she was familiar with. It didn't look like Japan prior to her relocation to Gensokyo, that was for sure. What she did immediately gravitate towards, however, was the smell of something fried... moments later, the tiny girl became acutely aware of the grumbling in her own stomach. Certainly, perhaps she could convince whoever possessed it to make an offering? Sanae wasn't here to make dinner... or was she. Was she?

"Sanae-chaaaan, make dinner!" called Suwako. There was no response, and it likely wasn't audible over the sound of the crowds. So that was most likely a no, wasn't it? And so, instead, the girl followed her nose.

It led her to a boy, with brown hair, and... some kind of... little monkey? It was a little monkey. But the more importantly he was clutching a bag filled with something that smelled heavily of fried food. The blonde goddess could therefore assume it was indeed fried food. Arms held out at her sides, Suwako immediately made a beeline for him.

"Ooooh, what's that in the bag?" she asked, not even attempting to make an introduction before she asked about getting a meal, "Are you going to eat it all? Do you want to make an offering?"

Nanoha Takamachi — Tokyo

Nanoha observed the City from the of one of its many skyscrapers. It didn't take long for her to figure out that she had been transported to Tokyo by some form of Dimensional Jaunt effect that caught her while she was having a pretty normal day. In fact, it only took the time to ask it to Rasing Heart. What actually intrigued the school uniform-clad girl was the fact that she couldn't get in contact with any of her friends, even the TSAB didn't respond to her distress signal. "How can I be in a place on Earth where I can't contact anyone, even Fate? That doesn't make sense, unless—"

[MULTIPLE UNKNOWN MAGICAL SIGNATURES DETECTED WITHIN W.A.S. RADIUS, MASTER.]

Raising Heart's voice broke Nanoha's train of thought. At least it confirmed her suspicions about not being alone here. Something happened that caused the isolation of this bit of space. Either that, or her wildest theories were true, but Nanoha would prefer to think about parallel Earths as the least possible case, after all, nothing in her knowledge of dimensional travel even pointed to the chance of that kinda of phenomena to exist.

"Give me the location of the nearest source as well as the itinerary of the buses and metro, Raising Heart. We are going to investigate it while keeping ourselves hidden," Nanoha said to her intelligent device. Thankfully, the pocket money she had on herself is enough to get through the day as well as move around the City. The first priority was getting to the part where the W.A.S. picked three really strong magical signatures. Two of them were eerily familiar to the Wolkenritter. Enough to cause the young girl to gulp, thinking what kind of Lost Logia could be behind this incident.
Tohka Yatogami — Tokyo

Tohka wandered aimlessly around a park, or forest that she wasn't familiar with, close to what looked like a palace. She didn't understand what happened. On a moment she was getting ready to go on a date with Shidou, on the other she was in this place. Not only that but she also had all her powers back. It was really giving her a headache. That said, the first thing Tohka thought about doing was dismiss her Astral Dress and stay in her civilian clothes. Just as Shidou told her, she shouldn't let anyone know that she was a Spirit, not unless it was necessary.

That said, Tohka was really really confused. She wanted to go back home but she couldn't fly without risking that anyone noticed her. At the worst, she might even be attacked by the Mecha Mecha Squad, if she doesn't keep her secret. That only left the bus as a viable way back home, the problem is: Where was the closest bus stop?

Tohka was saved from having to worry too much about it when she heard the sound of someone's feet crushing the foliage nearby. It didn't take long for her to find the person, naturally someone she didn't know. He was wearing a purple armor kinda like hers but still not very like it and had a sword too. Deciding to wait and see what would happen, Tohka did her best to hide behind a tree and spy on him. Her naive nature kind of didn't allow Tohak to notice that her mop of purple hair and school uniform weren't a very effective combination for stealth purposes.

Andersen, Tokyo

It could have been worse, really. He could've ended up here with that fairy tale girl, the one who kept criticizing his works for some reason... Or even worse, he could've ended up back on the moon again. Yes, perspective allowed him to downgrade this situation from "intensely aggravating" to merely "slightly annoying". That said, though, if he'd been able to pick his companion for this unscheduled rayshift (which is the only conclusion he could come to at the time), Mordred probably wouldn't have been his first choice. Or his second. Or his third, fourth, fifth... Really, there were a lot of people he'd prefer to be with than an impetuous, arrogant and obnoxious knight with a daddy complex. And as he expected, she was already mouthing off and freaking out. To think that she was the child (for want of a better word) of that proud and stoic King of Knights. Really, Mordred had to be an embarrassment to her family.

"Ugh... Calm down already." Andersen rubbed his forehead in exasperation. Yes, they'd apparently been cut off from their Master, although at least a lower class Servant such as himself wouldn't feel the effects for a little while longer than such a gigantic mana drain as a Saber. "I wish I had a drink right now so I could better put up with your whining, but..."

It was at this point Andersen trailed off, as he began to notice the weird looks passers-by were giving him. Stupid... Not that he could help it, but ever since his first summoning as a Servant he'd appeared as a child, no older than ten... But with a deep, masculine voice, one that represented his true maturity but which was rather at odds with his physical appearance. Initially he'd assumed it was due to the perversity of his original Master (not that he liked thinking of her), but after being summoned a second time at Chaldea... Well, suffice to say it seemed to have stuck, and the natives were rather confused as to where this manly voice was coming from. After all, there was no way it was coming from the little boy, right?

"...Look, throwing a fit is just going to waste your mana even faster," he continued in a hushed voice, an eyebrow twitching in irritation as people continued to stare. "So why not at least try and show some of the composure your "father" has just for once? Not that I really care about you, but Master would be rather upset if one of her most prized (for whatever reason) Servants faded away like that. Hmph."

Alberich

Having proceeded onwards on foot, trying to figure out exactly where he was. He saw something in the corner of his eye. Alberich's eyes narrowed slightly, something or someone of purple color attempting to hide behind a nearby tree.

"Who are you?! A saint?!" Alberich called out to Tohka.

With his crystal-like sword in hand, he took a leap forwards trying to jump into proximity of the said tree to flank whomever was trying to hide behind it.

Emilio

Emilio began making his way north. No matter where he was, he needed to finish his mission. Finding the location of Patricia and bringing her to Wong. Perhaps he could find someone able to provide him with an answer. If nothing else let him know what was going on.

Menomaru

Menomaru had found a tree which had a fine amount of shade under it, he sat down and began to look through the eyes of his moths. What was this place? He saw some odd constructs with humans within them, moving quickly along a completely flat road. The humans around also bore a strange dress-code, one to which he had not seen before.

It was almost as if he had been sent to a different world. The idea of being robbed of his inheritage, in the form of his deceased father Hyoga's power, did cause him quite the irritation. One of his moths had however seen something curious, a human with spectral angelic wings floating about midair before dashing away.

In order to make the best out of the situation, he would have to do abit of scouting. Once he knew the layout of the land, he could much better make use of his undeniable power. Perhaps he could find some new suitable servants as he seems to have lost both Hari and Ruri somehow. His moths began to spread out further, carried slightly by the wind and in the case of running into normal people the moths would cause them to get dizzy or lose conciouness due to their poisonous powder.

He pondered briefly on that if he could use the Sacred Jewel in someway. But to him it was unnecessary. With his power, he had no personal need of such a trinket. Despite how it had awakened him from his slumber.

Menomaru had to find a suitable servant and use the Sacred Jewel shard to further increase their usefulness.

Evangeline A.K. McDowell

The pair continued to fit the pattern that would be expected of residents of the magical world when the girl's armour vanished into the ether. It was a surprising development--the armour vanishing before the person--but disappearing clothing was somewhat nostalgic already. Honestly, it wasn't even the strangest thing going on with that duo; the strange was only made more ridiculous by the child's deep, booming voice. What sort of child sounded like he should be doing voiceovers for movie trailers?

Coming in closer had clarified things a little more. Whatever thy were, they weren't really like the Magical World residents. The blonde at least sounded like she had more in common with Chachazero. Masters? Servants? Honestly, the girl had such good fortune to be in the same place as her. No stranger to magical contracts of all types and lacking any sort of backup now. If anyone else had come along or Evangeline had her normal minions? Hah! Totally out of luck.

The blonde vampire's approach was direct, with no attempt to mask it. "It seems that we're all out of luck. You clearly need a Master and none of my dolls have come with me. You should count your blessings that I have a need for this role and will uphold whatever contract you require."

The blonde's grin revealed a little more tooth than required, but she couldn't let them think that this was an act of charity. Evangeline might have been a specialist in fighting alone but it was always good to weight the scales. This was wholly pragmatic: an evil vampire like her wouldn't do something nice for its own sake.

— Shibuya => Shinjuku —

This world continued to bring forth surprise after surprise. Now out of the wooded area it seemed that scale of some of the buildings were beynd reason. Any one of these constructions would have taken decades and here there were hundreds of them. There couldn't be enough people to warrant this kind of construction in the whole world.

Still holding to his grasp of Shadow Ben opened himself to Serc, the Warren of the sky. With just a couple f steps he soared into the air, finally catching sight of just how far the buildings went. This city extended to the horizon in every direction and every street that he could see was packed with movement. "What kind of world is this?"

Quick Ben alighted on the roof of one of the taller buildings, awestruck. Releasing his grasp of both warrens he opened another, a portal this time through to the Imperial Warren. The rent wept ashes as he stepped through, lingering in the air for a moment in his wake. A dozen steps later he emerged back onto the top of another building several hundred meters north.

Mordred, Tokyo

"... I-I'm not gonna fade away, you little bastard," Mordred practically snarled, trying to will herself not to lose form, not to fade away completely, clutching her hands at the ground. She hated this, for reasons beyond the fact that she could fade away with no contact to her Master. She felt weak. She hated it. She hated feeling weak. But certainly the worst part was the fact that she could vanish without a trace, far from the one who deserved her loyalty. The blonde-haired girl gritted her teeth. She wouldn't let it happen. She couldn't let it happen. What kind of knight would ever allow themselves to simply fade away like this? The answer certainly wasn't her! Clenching her hands into fists, she steeled herself. While she felt no stronger, her fingertips seemed to cease fading. For the moment at least.

"... I won't let her down..." growled the Saber-class Servant, mostly to herself. It had really slipped out almost unwillingly, but suffice to say that she felt as if she could never let her Master down. She glanced at Andersen. He seemed fine, thus far, which mostly pissed her off. How dare he deal with it better then she was?! She almost snapped at him for it... until she noticed a pale blonde woman approaching them... and making an offer...

Shakily, the Red Knight forced herself to her feet, panting slightly as she did.

"... Fine," she said, after a moment's pause. Her expression betrayed the fact she felt no joy in this. She was already serving her Master, after all. "Until I can get back to my Master, you're gonna be lucky enough to have the services of Mordred Pendragon, the true Heir to the Throne of Britain."

Even now she couldn't help but give her preferred introduction. Quaking slightly, taking a deep breath as she tried to keep herself steady, she glanced back at Andersen. ... If she let him fade away, her Master would be pretty upset, wouldn't she...

"... That little bastard needs a Master too. Not like I care, but my Master wouldn't be happy if she lost him. For some reason."

Shokuhou Misaki

Slowly making her way through the crowd, Misaki let out a sigh of relief as she finally made it to the 109's entrance. Even at this time of the evening, there was still such a rush of people milling about to the point where it might have overwhelmed even her. It didn't, of course, but it was a bit of a refreshing sight not seeing a sea of students in all directions around her. There was also the slight loneliness of not having her usual group with her, but that couldn't have been helped.

"I do hope they take credit from Academy City, though. Far easier than paying by cash," she mused to herself before walking off to the side and staring up at the advertisements above her head. The pictures of girls in summer wear, however, caused her to freeze up.

"It's December right now, isn't it? Wait, now that I think about it... Isn't this place abnormally warm? I thought that was all the people, but I don't think that's the case any more," the esper thought to herself before deciding to start gathering some information. With a quick, singular motion, Misaki pulled out a remote from her bag and pointed it at the nearest person—or, rather, people, seeing as how her initial target was with two other girls chattering off. With a click of her remote, the three young women immediately stopped chatting and turned towards Misaki, the trademark stars present in their eyes as they were in hers.

"Give me the current date, time, and... Whether or not you know the name 'Academy City'," Misaki said, the usual playful tone in her voice drastically toned down. The three girls nodded before beginning to speak in turn.

"Today is July 7. The time is about 7:00 P.M. I don't know anything about this 'Academy City'."

"I also don't know anything about this 'Academy City'."

"My brother mentions it every so often, but he's a weirdo so I don't really pay attention to his babbling. It usually comes up whenever he brings friends over and starts talking about his games and light novels or something."

The three lines caused Misaki to pause and frown before cancelling the temporary mind control, erasing all memory of the time she was interrogating them (which was honestly no more than a minute or so) before slipping the remote back into her back.

"This is bad. Looks like the 109 will have to wait; there's no way people don't normally know what Academy City is with everything that's been going on recently," she said to herself before looking around for any more abnormalities. The possibility that this was another Mental Out incident, but nothing in the last few minutes made it obvious to any degree that it was anything more than a slim chance of a repeat.

No, what she needed now was information. Well, information and money. In a rush, the young woman quickly slipped off towards a side street at the crossing and began looking for some sort of cafe or TV station or something like that. The sooner, the better.

Leonardo Watch

With sweat running down his brow as he dashed through the streets of the city, Leo (and Sonic) soon found themselves at their intended destination. Or, rather, what would have been their intended destination if the building was completely different from what they were looking for. Rather than the usual entrance to the building, Leo instead found a giant skyscraper made of steel, concrete, and glass. The young man stared in complete shock at the overwhelming shininess of the structure before sighing.

"I don't think we're going to find anyone from Libra at this rate," Leo sighed before the sound of a young girl behind him caught his attention and caused him to turn around. She seemed like she was a little too young to be walking around at this time, but there were more worrisome things on the photographer's mind as she asked him for food. Her calling it an 'offering' caused him to tilt his head in confusion, but he soon noticed the hat and outfit that definitely made her stand out among the crowd of men in suits milling about.

Then the hat blinked, which made Leo sure that she wasn't from around here. That wasn't necessarily a good thing, though, but...

"Well, at least Zapp's burger won't go to waste. Please forgive me," Leo prayed internally before pulling the food in question out and handing it to the child. After a moment of hesitation, Leo turned to Sonic (who was still perched on his shoulder, this time with two fries in its hands) before looking back at the girl and opening his eyes wide. The All-Seeing Eyes of God now in full view, Leo stared at the child in front of him before taking a wary step back.

"That... You're definitely not a human, and you're not from the other side of Hellsalem's Lot... Not a vampire, but... What's with that incredibly dark green aura surrounding you? It's almost suffocating..." he began to mutter himself, half in fear as his feet seemed to lock in place where he was.

Hinanawi Tenshi

The Celestial could feel her eye twitching by the time that the people around her had finished asking for pictures. That 'small crowd' had grown into a 'large crowd' soon after she had started ready to finish, but at the very least it seemed as if everyone had stopped trying to bug her for another bit of time. This was definitely cutting into her exploration time, which was more annoying than anything. Before the next batch could even think of appearing, Tenshi quickly broke off into a sprint and slipped into an alleyway before jumping forward, letting the sword in her hand disappear before landing on the pavement. Immediately after, a rock sprang out of the ground and launched the young woman into the evening sky. Luckily enough, her outfit seemed to blend into the darkness (save the rainbow-colored cloth around her waist), and without the Sword of Hisou glowing like a beacon in her hand it wasn't as if any normal human would spot her easily (if at all). With a sigh of relief as she was able to escape from the incessant photography, the young woman looked down at the city's landscape from above, a faint smile on her face as she saw how brightly lit it was.

"Even at night, this place seems so lively. I'm not sure how to feel about that, though..." she trailed off before noticing a distinctly natural area in the middle of all this modern uniformity. That, coupled with what seemed to be a distinctly less modern castle in the middle of it, piqued the Celestial's attention more than anything else. With her next destination confirmed, Tenshi nodded and few down to the outskirts of the area, flying around and observing the park before deciding to land in the middle of the trees. The place felt natural, yet, but it was more of an 'artificial' natural than 'natural' natural to her. Walking around through the array of trees and foliage, Tenshi slowed down as she noticed what seemed to be two other people in the middle of the area doing...

Well, she herself wasn't quite sure what was going on, but Tenshi held herself back from just jumping right into that mess. No matter how curious she was, even she knew what swinging around the Sword of Hisou in the middle of a bunch of trees and other assorted plants would do.

Moriya Suwako

"Yaaaay~" cheered the blonde-haired girl as she immediately snatched up the burger and took a large bite out of it. Aaah, she was so hungry! And it tasted so good, the cheese was perfectly gooey, the juices were so flavorful as they leaked into her mouth... sure, it probably wasn't actually all that great, but when someone is really hungry everything seems to taste better then it actually is. Cheerfully, Suwako chewed the somewhat enormous bite of burger she'd taken, a little bit of the juices now stuck to her right cheek. It was at this moment that she noticed the boy had fully opened his eyes, displaying... well. Wasn't that curious. This looked like the outside world, but no-one liked to show their more unusual attributes out there. While the boy was certainly human, those blue eyes with complex, circular patterns within them certainly did not seem to be the eyes of one.

Suwako tilted her head as she worked through the possibly-rather-oversized bite of burger, then managed to swallow it in what seemed like one gulp. He seemed scared now, taking a step back before appearing to lock up, unable to move out of fear. Well, that was no good at all, now, was it?

"You're right, I'm not human!" declared the blonde-haired child cheerily. She thrust her arms out to the sides with a happy twirl, before taking a pose where she held up the burger in her right hand and flashed a v-sign with her left next to her eye and pointed inwards, sticking her tongue out. "I'm the loveable and carefree goddess, Moriya Suwako-chan!"

But those eyes... well, shutting one of her own golden eyes with a rather knowing, sly wink, she leaned towards the boy.

"But... your eyes aren't human even if the rest of you is, are they?"

— Tokyo —

The mage moved from rooftop to rooftop, hoping to gain some sort of understanding of his surroundings. It wasn't working. This city, or whatever it was, was well beyond anything he had experienced. He needed a local, somebody who knew more than he did. More than that, he also needed a partner. Someone to watch his back. It had been years since he'd been caught out so alone.

Down below he spotted a girl that ducked into a side street after doing something unusual to a couple of other individuals. They appeared to fit in much better than he did himself. There's an opportunity now. Ordinarily he would use a messenger instead of being so crude but acting sooner seemed to be better than erring towards caution.

Quick Ben stared down and gauged her pace carefully. He opened a warren and stepped though with it closing behind him. A few heartbeats later and a handful of steps through the ankle deep layer of ashes Quick Ben opened another portal back to reality. He reached through and pulled the girl in with him.

Andersen, Tokyo

Oh, there she goes, building up false expectations of herself to a stranger. Mordred was incorrigible, really. Not only that but she was being far too overdramatic. Oh well, at least she was somewhat amusing; one thing was for sure, and that's that things were never boring when she was around. Not that that was a good thing, but still.

"Yes, yes, the true heir to the throne. As true as an illegitimate bastard child born to her "father"'s half-sister can be." Andersen smirked, before propping back his glasses and giving the other blonde a lookover. Someone coming out of nowhere with a solution to their problem seemed far too convenient, like something a hack writer would come up with. Not only that, but... Well... Human Observation was an interesting ability, really. Even if he hadn't been around several people who had taught him never to judge by appearances, especially when it came to girls (he personally knew Jack the Ripper, after all, and she was a cute kid when she wasn't in murder mode), he would've realized there was far more to this woman than initial impressions let on. There was an air of the supernatural around her, although it was different from Servants like himself and Mordred, and something about her tone of voice let off that she was somewhat older than she looked (something he was regretably all too familiar with). And really, the fangs were a dead giveaway.

"Awfully convenient for you to show up and offer us just what we need right now, really." After straightening his bowtie for dramatic effect, he pointed an accusing finger at the newcomer. "Although I always assumed sunlight was fatal to vampires... And you don't exactly seem like a True Ancestor to me. Still, it's not like we have much choice right now... And you seem like the type who hides her more benevolent tendencies behind a facade of false malevolence, so... Very well. Third-rate Servant, Hans Christian Andersen, begrudgingly at your service."

He felt like he'd handled that reasonably well. Still, hopefully he'd be able to get a drink soon. God knows he needed to get plastered if he was going to have to put up with stuff like this. Maybe he could try some of those Japanese beers he'd heard about...

As Nanoha traveled around the City she noticed that a few more magical signatures appeared on the W.A.S. radius. Something was clearly off here, most of those signatures were weak when compared with the overwhelming power of the three ones in the park —all three of them at least AAA+ ranked— but it still didn't explain why there were so many mages on Earth, especially in Tokyo. The only other Earthling mages she ever heard about were Admiral Gil Graham and Hayate, which only left interdimensional invaders as the source of these signatures.

"It will be hard to face all of them at once. I hope that we can solve this in a peaceful way. If that's not the case I'll be counting on your help once more, Raising Heart, Nahona said telepathically to her Device while trying her best to not be swept up by the raging tsunami known as the Tokyo subway crowd, once she arrived at the station nearest to the park she detected the magical signatures she was seeking.

A few minutes later, she finally arrived at the park, still trying to go completely incognito. At least she was wearing her school uniform so she wouldn't look too out of place while walking around a public park. It didn't take long for Nanoha to track the magic signatures to their source, especially after the massive burst she felt coming from one of them. In fact, it wasn't unlike the time when Hayate reinforced her contract with the Wolkenritter. The very fact that she might have to face foes like those again made Nanoha both apprehensive and giddy. Belkan Knight style was a sight to behold in the heat of battle, after all.

Clutching Raising Heart within her fist, Nanoha tried to slowly approach the two blond girls, the taller of which bore an uncanny similarity to Fate, and the strange looking boy. She tried to make it look like she was just crossing the park like any normal person. If any of them had sharp enough eyes, they would be able to notice that she was certainly staring at them, or better, at their massive magical auras.
Tohka Yatogami

"Wait, huh? How did you notice me?" Tohka replied to the mysterious man. The shock of finding that her plan didn't work was visible on her face. She coughed, trying to not let it be seen by him.

Tohka wasn't intimidated by the way he threatened her with a sword, though. In fact, anyone with good enough perception would be able to notice how she narrowed her gaze, focusing her attention on the blade's edge. There was an obvious hint of displeasure or annoyance at being threatened like that. "I don't know what you are talking about. What I know is that threatening others is bad so, why are you doing it?" she asked while giving him a stern gaze.

Emilio

Emilio had flewn for quite a while and all of a sudden he noticed something odd occuring below. Someone was jumping from building to building in a strange way.Oh? What's this? He thought to himself. He knew he had to inspect this closer and decended at a high speed towards whatever it was that was moving from building to building.

What? What is that? He thought he could see a man down there, he landed on a nearby building, his left hand placed on his hip, his wings vanishing and his gaze fell on the odd man who just in that moment stepped through some form of portal.

Where did he go? Teleportation? Tchh... seriously? I don't get it. He shrugged and gestured with his right arm.

Alberich

Alberich stopped in his tracks on spotting the person behind the tree.

A woman. But she does not have a mask like the female saints of Athena. Alberich pondered and then looked over the girl's armor and weaponry. But this cloth is not one I have seen before. That sword looks like it could be quite dangerous.

"I am Delta star, Megrez Alberich. The most intelligent of Asgard." Alberich replied with his sword still held out.
His blinked his eyes for a moment as he saw her narrowing her gaze. This woman is clearly not a saint. Perhaps she may however be of some use. Heheh... Alberich mused to himself. Alberich lowered his weapon slowly and stretched out his hand in a offering motion, with his palm facing upwards. "Who are you woman?"

"Do forgive me, I thought you were one of the saints of Athena who had invaded our homeland and killed my fellow god warriors, apart from myself, Siegfried and Syd (pronounced as Shido)." Alberich paused and looked the armored girl over. There was no possible gain to be had to fight her here he knew that. So the best possible thing right now was to see if he could somehow trick the young woman to aid him.

"You may be rewarded well by helping me. Whatever you desire could become yours if you aid me in gathering together the Odin Sapphires so I can defeat Polaris Hilda."

A small moth would have landed on a nearby tree and was watching them from there.

@KoL

Menomaru

Menomaru looked through the eyes of his demon moths, having had them spread out further now, some having carried far in the wind.

Most of the moths saw just regular humans doing their daily lives. Menumaru had not seen some of the devices they were using, but they were of little interest to him. He was more keen on finding a powerful weapon and his late father's remains which he could not presently detect. He set his sight on finding individuals which stood out amongst the rest. Letting his flying demon moths continue recon the city for him. Bit by bit.

He had lost contact with the winged person which had taken off in a burst of speed but instead put his focus through the eyes of a small swarm of moths that had travelled further up northwest. The swarm of moths would land on a tree in the park which held an even more odd gathering of people. A young boy in a very fine made, but very strange getup and two blonde women having what appeared to be a very heated discussion. Despite seeing this he was not able to see the fourth skulking about.

A lone moth would also have made contact with two armored figures in a what looked to be a forest. Menomaru was more familiar with these two, they both had swords and armor. But he had never seen any armor like these before. They were unlike his own by quite the bit.

Menomaru would for now only watch. Later when the time would be right, he would reveal his return to the world.

Evangeline A. K. McDowell

Mordred and Andersen? They would have to do some explaining--so far as she knew, Mordred had never really existed and most certainly shouldn't have been a girl. Andersen, too, should have been far older than he currently appeared. His voice certainly fit the age one would have expected the famous author to be--good for telling stories; not his, though, if there was one thing that Evangeline had no desire to sit and listen to it was children's tales. The two had a further thing in common: they were both, the vampire was absolutely certain, supposed to be dead. That would explain why they needed a contract, at least...

"You're a perceptive one, boy," she said, stepping forwards and going through the motions to prepare. It wasn't like she knew the exact demands--magical power was a certainty but this wasn't quite the same as her doll contracts; Chachazero was still ''alive'' with nothing. It was even further from pactios... but that would be the easiest way to go about establishing something that could take whatever form was needed. "But not perfectly. I am a vampire: Evangeline, High Daylight Walker, True Ancestor, Apostle of Calamity, Advent of Evil, the nightmare of children's tales. But don't confuse me for anything other than a villain needing minions to be sub-bosses."

Then, before the pair could stop to analyse her actions, Evangeline leaned down to give them both a brief kiss--nothing but her lips quickly brushing against theirs, but enough to form a contract in a burst of light... and start rapidly siphoning away from the vampire's reserves to refill the Servants' lack of mana.

Unfortunately for Nanoha, this action was hardly distracting enough that a vampire used to regular and lethal attempts on her life would miss being watched or approached so closely. The magical girl was spared from direct reprisal by, of all things, the even more suspicious swarm of moths landing on a nearby tree. Honestly, did their controller think that more than one piece of magical surveillance would be missed? If not by her, then by anyone else with magical awareness? Familiars of any sort or type might be good for spying but you had to keep them from getting too much attention...

Without warning, the blonde melted away from the Servants, arising instead in the shadow of the same tree as the moths, frowning at them from point blank. "If you have something to say or do, come here in person. Whatever... let this be a warning to you! Lic Lac La Lac Lilac!"

She could have been more discrete about it, but what was the point? Best to let whoever was on the other end think this was as fast as she could cast: "Gelida halitus, immitte! Nivis Casus!"

The ensuing avalanche from her hand was more than enough to grind down the moths... and the tree... and several trees behind it, an onrushing torrent of ice and snow that came to a halt at the park's boundaries. It also produced a more dramatic change, the spell--and refuelling the Servants--having completely drained Evangeline's reserves. So much so that to actually replenish anything over time, however little...

The illusion of age and size melted away, leaving Evangeline, glowering in the direction of her own avalanche, reduced to looking more like a fragile doll than an intimidating vampire sorceress. Even the passing Japanese girl was bound to be taller, whilst Andersen had plenty on her.

Menomaru

His eyes narrowed a slight bit as his demon moths was being destroyed by the ice spell made by the vampire girl. He got up on his feet and looked slightly over his shoulder in the direction of the place the moths were destroyed. The wind began to blow heavily around him, the various trees shed cherry blossoms which carried away by it. Menomaru was not pleased at all. One of those whom he regarded as human were seemingly in fact a demon in disguise or so he thought. No human could have performed that feat he witnessed. Not the mightiest of human priests.

Perhaps I can use the girl?

Either way he could not leave such a power running wild. Menomaru devised a simple plan. Find the girl which used that power on his demon moths and make her submit to him or consume her. He needed some replacements for Hari and Ruri. Against a demon of his standing she would surely not stand a chance of beating him. The humans were not even worth to take into the consideration, for they were mere humans. An amused smirk fell on his lips and he began to command his demon moths forwards. It was time to do the first move. He commanded a swarm of moths to linger in the tree he had previously leaned against. Before he jumped upwards and took flight onwards accompanied by a smaller swarm of demon moths, with a larger gathering further on ahead acting as a welcoming committee, amassing and flying northwest. Appearing like a dark foreboding cloud.

Mordred

The sound that came from the blonde girl could only be described as a growl as, briefly no longer caring about her mana situation, Mordred rounded on Andersen. That little son of a bitch had... had... she was so mad she almost couldn't decide how she wanted to punish him. Somehow just punching him seemed too easy, too simple, he needed something much more painful. Perhaps... Yes, glaring and reaching towards her fellow Servant. This was a matter that needed to be dealt with before she reacted to the fact that the

Mordred suddenly froze when she felt that vampire woman's lips meet her own. In that instant, her anger burned out and was replaced with a rush of embarrassment as she took a step back, cheeks flushing. No, no, whatever... if that was part of the contract then... then...

"Hahaha I've kissed plenty of girls before!" Mordred suddenly blurted out, her cheeks burning red. This obviously wasn't a lie. It totally was the absolute truth, there was no question of it. It's not like the Red Knight would ever make anything up in order to try and make herself sound more impressive in some regard, now, was it? Well, she didn't do so often, but when it came to certain matters it was difficult to say she wouldn't sometimes make some exaggerated claims, to say the least.

Her mind switched gears again, however, when she suddenly felt so... strong. Indeed, the kiss had been part of the contract. It definitely wasn't what she was used to, but it couldn't be denied that this woman was a high-level magi of some kind... as well as a vampire. Mordred narrowed her eyes somewhat warily. Why was a vampire offering them help so easily, huh? But she'd already accepted it. Mordred disliked how much she needed it, really, but she wouldn't let her true Master down. This was all to return to her.

And then, in another show of magical prowess, their temporary Master promptly laid waste to a copse of trees. Mordred was immediately on guard, red flashes signifying that she had summoned her armor and sword, gripping Clarent down and at her side as she stood ready... and stared in muted shock as the vampire woman melted into a little girl. Not just any little girl, an extremely small and frail-looking one.

Of course, she'd seen child Servants before(their Master absolutely treasured Nursery Rhyme and Jack, doting on the two of them as much as possible, and that was only two of them) so it wasn't as if she was unused to powerful children. But that didn't make this course of events any less surreal.

"... The hell?"
