@Savo Not likely no. Ashe's focus is on combat and working with Leon and the gang. Their paths probably haven't ever crossed. If they did it would have been very brief.

As an extension of what I said earlier,@NobodiesHero do you think our characters would get along? I suppose in this situation, that matter wouldn't be relevant. But do you think they might share some sort of history?

I think she would have more contact with Ashe than Ambrose :P

Regardless, he would probably brush her off since she's relatively new, give her a few quips over the design and then say to her to leave him alone, he's busy.

Also, looks like the three of them are going to be scattered for this first portion. The First District has Ashe, the Second District has got Raily, and the Third has got Ambrose... hoo boy, this should be good.

@RyuShura Yeah I think they'd have at least a little bit of history together, probably fought in a few battles together. Ashe would find Raily's optimism to be endearing, though also slightly annoying. She would be put off a bit by Raily's magic, but because of her size and youth would want to protect her regardless. In time Ashe would probably think of Raily as a younger sister.

Also, just so everyone knows, I've designed Ashe to be a tank. Which is good because we've got a few squishy magic users on our side.

I mean Raily might live in Second District, but its not exclusive. This was a surprise, right? Not to mention my character might be considered the newbie. So its feasible she would be put on menial errands or something once in a while. Tasks that might lead her to different districts even. Because of this, its within reason for her to be caught somewhere she techinically isn't normally when the invasion strikes.

In any case, I'm open for a 'coincidental partnership' with either characters. If not, I'm fine with riding solo too. :^D

It's late here, I'll throw up a post tomorrow morning. I'm not sure yet whether I want to have Ashe start off in the Third District where hooded guy that definitely isn't Vexen is, or in the First District where that masked soldier is.


Yeah, that's definitely Vexen... Time to have this Steamed Punk try and shatter his Frozen Pride? Also first district's nobody is a relative unknown since they're an original nobody.

Along with that, Mira gets to handle the master of illusions, and the hitman's son gets to fight a graceful assassin... peachy... well, maybe...

Yeah, the only knowledge of Kingsom Hearts are from the memory of playing these games like 5+ years ago. So excuse me if I get anything horribly wrong. XD

I managed to reference one of our cast members though, so I'm proud all this character history debate actually went somewhere.

@RyuShura so, she's in the third district, correct? If so, I'm going to add a tidbit where he ends up "running" into her (more like backing up and nearly getting hit with some aero) before the group targeting Ambrose combines with the group of nobodies trying to get her... so yeah.

Time to pull a DIO on them all.

It's funny because technically both of those suggestions are true, and that's all I'm going to reveal in order to avoid spoiling everything. Let's just say I was very glad you included a significant friend in your backstory that went missing, because that was what made this plot point even possible in the first place. I'd always planned for there to be a Masked Man regardless of what everyone's backstory was, but yours allowed me to really boost the significance of the Masked Man without it being forced. So thanks for that.
