It seems it is your time to shine, @Gordian Nought. Personally, this feels like a trap set for us, so do fly free if you can. I would not be surprised if these mercenaries were told, "If a bunch of ragtag fighters from Greenest show up, lead them here." and having us all walk into a cut of their entire army. At best the rear guard has no idea we are coming, but consider me skeptical of that.

I am considering of sending Torus' familiar, Judgment, while still Wildshaped as a bear. Any objections?

@Norschtalen, Torus is the one going to be sending their companion. It isn't as though he could not outline it for us as well non-verbally, which might be entertaining all its own in truth.

Will do. Judgment will have to return to peck on the ground to explain the campsite's number as it is out of range for Torus to employ the full benefits of the familiar.

My vote is to avoid them as they are well prepared, even if their numbers were closer to our own. My guess is, they are going to harry us if we engage them based on the spears and thrown weapons mentioned. Provided that, and that it seems to be we could just avoid them - we have enough rangering sorts to keep tracking and moving through the environment without exclusively going this way - there is no reason not to. We were planning an infiltration type route now as it were too; less opportunity to be caught.

5 days. 4 OOC comments. Not a single IC post.

Ladies and gentlemen, I thought we had an agreement. Did we not agree on a certain level of activity that should be maintained, with the possibility for extensions when addressing the issue OOC beforehand? Because I remember something along those lines. And this, well, this sure is not it. I have made my own share of mistakes, don't get me wrong, but we are currently talking about a very simple action to be taken. It does not take that long to figure out a way to approach it and commit to it via an In Character post.

Really, I have been saying the "if I do not see change" things for a while now, but consider this the absolute last one. I do not want to kick out players, but if they do not comply to the rules they themselves set, what am I to do? Those under threat of termination should know who they are. I hope I do not come across as an ass, but I do believe this matter needs to be addressed.

No, I understand ya. Again, I've taken advantage of your patience and I'm sorry for it. To be honest I guess I just felt very lazy about posting for this because, as a play-by-post RP, I'm usually much more lax about my activities. I mean it's just not the same as a voice or even chatroom type where you have to be immediately active.

There are few words a man can use to deliver this message, so I will get straight to the point.

It has been much too long since I heard of @Norschtalen, the player of one Kyra Shepard. As much as I enjoy the character they brought to the table, that slot is better filled with a more active player. I should also point out that I would like to hear when @Ryonara is planning to drop in their next IC post, but since they have at least responded in OOC, they are not being terminated at the same time.

I will contact what spare player contacts I have and see what we will have for the new player. Kyra will be placed under my control until the party can be reasonably readjusted in terms of storytelling.

The story will move on from here this evening.

As much as my initial reaction would be to give you one more chance, it was already heavy enough for me to make the decision to boot you. I do not make these decisions lightly and would much prefer not to have to do them at all, but I will be staying true to my word as things are now. I am sorry, but I am also glad to see you understand what my choice is based on.

@Ryonara, @Lucius Cypher, or @Gordian Nought, please let me know who has Brannor's weapons, which of course he would have been disarmed of if he were actually taken prisoner. I say this for two reasons, as first our resident wild-knight would like them back soon enough and second, if they do have to make an escape, getting them sooner than later is a positive.

Orchid would most likely be carrying them. He doesn't have much on him, and if things do get ugly, Orchid could actually use Brannor's sword before handing it off to him.
