Powers and abilities:

Haemopotent Regeneration - Modlen can heal and regenerate using the blood of others. The amount of blood decides the speed of healing.

Disease Immunity/Carrier - A necessary secondary mutation involving Modlen's passive regeneration is immunity to all forms of disease, a useful immunity given the amount of diseases she would come into contact with. This does make her a carrier however for all kinds of diseases, especially those spread through blood.

Acrobatic - Moddy is quite a skilled acrobat. While not on the same level as someone like Nightcrawler, she has an incredible sense of balance and isn't easily disorientated.

Teleporation - Modlen can teleport to any location within her line of sight in a puff of red, bloody mist that smells strongly of iron. She can teleport over longer distances if she can see live footage of the location she wants to teleport to. Right now she can only teleport people or objects up to 160lbs in weight. Anything above that and... parts get left behind.

Personality: Modlen is quite introverted and distrustful. When around others she tends to become quite anxious, especially because of her appearance but also because she's afraid to speak out of fear of saying something 'wrong'. Her anxiety and nervousness tends to manifest as excitement, hyperactivity and uncertainty followed by spells of wallowing in self-doubt, criticism and paranoia over what people think of her.

Appearance:



Modlen stands at 5'11 and weighs roughly 140lbs. Her ears are pointed, her skin is stone-grey as are her eyes and she suffers from an very obvious case of pupula duplex. Her raven hair reaches the small of her back and, curiously enough, she seems to have dark grey freckles dot her nose and shoulders. She also sports a prehensile tail similar in appearance to Nightcrawler's. All of this is almost certainly due to her mother, since she bears little resemblance to her human father.

While she is quite self-conscious about her demonic appearance, she does still embrace it to a degree and it has helped shape her personality and likes. She listens to metal, industrial and heavier genres of music, but doesn't limit herself to those genres. She also typically wears a combination of black, green, red and purple as well as various heavy metal band shirts.

Moddy typically wears tabi, mostly because she grew up not wearing shoes very often and they're the only footwear that still allows her to feel the ground and feel sure of her footing, otherwise she is barefoot as often as possible. She also tends to wear cargo pants, largely because pants are easier to modify so she can free her tail. If she is wearing a dress or a skirt, however, she'll always be wearing a pair of tights underneath.

Bio:

From the outside, Modlen came from a seemingly normal home. Her father had a successful job in IT and was well respected by his coworkers. As well as pitied. His wife had left him after Modlen was born, mostly due to the obviously mutant appearance of their daughter, leaving Modlen's father to raise her on his own. There was obvious distrust and bullying throughout much of Modlen's childhood, but the worst came from her father.
There was no denying that Modlen's appearance was somewhat demonic, especially with her grey skin and pointed tail, and her father was quickly taken in by a local church, becoming a born again believer, devout to a fault. His fellow church goers saw him as a pious man trying to do his best with an unclean child left behind by some harlot. Many would even go so far as to insinuate that Modlen was the result of some unholy coupling and that she was not really her fathers daughter. Her father was no better. He controlled much of her life at home. What she could wear, listen to and watch. Anything that was deemed to be "unholy" behaviour was dealt with harshly. Sometimes physically. Sometimes worse.

It was no surprise then when Modlen ran away when her powers manifested, first when the blood of the steak she placed on her eye healed her bruises and next when first teleported. The fear of her fathers reaction was too much and the knowledge that she could be healed with blood made her feel even less human.

It took less than a few days of being cold and hungry on the streets until Modlen started using her abilities to feed and clothe herself. First she started small, teleporting out of stores while holding food and other things. Eventually she upgraded to teleporting into electronics stores and stealing devices, selling them on the street. It was only a matter of time until the police caught on though. All it took was one officer hiding in the shadows with a taster and she was caught.

Her father wanted nothing to do with her at that point, which she had no problem with, and she was promptly locked away. After the first few times working through the pain of the collar to try to escape, she was soon placed in solitary confinement, where she has been ever since.

Abilities: Telepathy- Sam is able to communicate with others through forms of writing.
Reality Warping/Animation- He is also able to make creations out of nothing from also writing it down

Weaknesses: -Although Sam has great writing abilities, he isn't good with pressure and that minimizes his imagination to create things.
-He is't able to help or hurt himself in any way and can only make outside forces
-He lacks physical strength

Strengths: -He is able to control anything he makes, without it getting out of hand
-He can also communicate with anyone he focuses on through his writing


Appearance: Sammie has short, fluffy, light brown hair that is extremely messy and is styled into into thick spikes, along with his bangs. He has pale skin that looks as if it has never seen the light of day and wide, purple eyes. He wears contacts which is why his eyes are purple but he also wears thick framed, black, very large and circular glasses. He likes to think that wearing both contacts and glasses can help him see in the dark. He is very short, only at a whopping 4'8, which makes him very small compared to others, but he is average in body size.
For clothing, Sam usually wears a grey beanie and a jean jacket that has way too many pockets for no reason. He also wears a bright yellow scarf that has white, different sized polka dots scattered across it. He also wears a pair of brown cargo shorts and slipper-like shoes with white ankle socks. He carries around a dark green journal and a fancy black pen with him at all times. He carries them in a secret pouch inside of his jean jacket

Personality: Sammie is a usually talkative and outgoing person and it can sometimes be said that he is a bit hyperactive. He enjoys being around people, but for mainly one specific reason. As an inspiring journalist, Sam loves to take notes about almost anything he sees or hears, whether that be a rumor or a fact, he'll write it down. Most times, he'll be attracted to a crowd, hoping for a good story he can publish. He sometimes gets paranoid that other journalists or reporters are around, trying to get the scoop out of him, so sometimes Sam will pause mid sentence and look around before continuing. He has excellent creative writing abilities and he enjoys writing short stories of other people and will read aloud his writing very dramatically. He hopes that one day, his writing will be noticed by a professional company or editor and his career will take a great turn. But for now, he waits.

Backstory: After his dad left him at a young age, Sammie began collecting bits and pieces of information from others. He wasn't close to his mom at all and he wasn't able to tell her how he felt about things, so that distanced him from her even more. His mom tried to connect with him sometimes, but Sam would get very quiet and give her one word answers like "yes" or "no". With the information he would gather from others, he would make up stories and act them out with the other kids at his school. Not growing up with his dad made him very lonely and isolated and he often blamed his mistakes on his mom, always bringing up how his dad left because he believed she wasn't good enough.
One afternoon, when he was eight, he noticed that there were reporters hanging around a crime scene that had just taken place. Sammie tried to weave his way through the crowd, but one of the reporters stopped him claiming that he was too young. The reporter and Sam ended up talking together and Sam was giving his first journal notebook. Coming straight home, he began his work as a journalist, inspired by the reporter. He started writing his thoughts and feelings out in it. His mom was very confused as to why she heard her son's voice in her head very clearly. They both later discovered as to how Sam could talk to others through writing and also create things out of nowhere.
As he got older, his powers grew and so did his mind. He started "studying" people, wanting to jump start his career. He soon began writing paper after paper of these people and he published them. They got many responses, but not good ones. He had exposed many powerful companies, whom of which were not pleased to see this fourteen year old boy snooping around in their business. Although he had exposed them for cheating people and other bad stuff, charges were pressed against him and he was filed as dangerous for his talents, arresting for "hacking" and "exposure". He was very confused, as he thought he was helping the public, not hurting it.
