LOL...I never think about how large it is when I start writing. When I get on a roll, I don't stop until I feel it is done. At least I edit what I write three or four times before I post it. It will be grammatically correct if nothing else. My longest post in the RPG forums was 8 pages long on MS Word (Times New Roman, 12pt). It had 55 paragraphs. But that was an NRP about five years ago. I never think about the length. I just go. But to limit myself to 4 or 5 paragraphs sounds excruciatingly painful. I could write four or five paragraphs here in the OOC.

EDIT: If my post is too long for some folks, I am not apologizing.

With all due respect, if you can't stand only writing 4-5 paragraphs, why are you participating in a High Casual RP? I mean, one of the key features of Casual is that posts are only a few paragraphs long. And in regard to your EDIT, I could just as well say "If I don't read your posts because they're too long, I am not apologizing," but that would be a little disrespectful, wouldn't it? Goodness, God forbid someone think you're overdoing it or something, appreciate that we know in advance that you don't mind.

I've always considered it as something of a minimum standard rather than a maximum. At minimum it's a few paragraphs long, otherwise write as much as you need. Don't feel constrained, you do you. After all, you can't force someone to read your work.

I would agree 4-5 paragraphs is more of a minimum. A writer doesn't put out sufficient content with such restraints imposed. The only reason one writes in Casual is because it is the most populated.

@GuntherAlright, well, it's not my decision anyway, so I'll leave you to it. I won't be holding myself to a 4-5 limit for every post anyway.

Im in the same boat. I write to write, length ignored. If I'm feeling it, I post way more than probably necessary. But, that was a long time ago, and now I'm not so sure my prose would hold up. I'm just over here looking at my post versus everyone else's and telling myself I can do better than this shit.

So right now Berislav is the only one who hasn't posted. I assume we're going to wait for everyone to post once before continuing, but is there a minimum number of people we should wait to post before posting again? I don't recall seeing a specific number.
