Harumi Uchiha
Konohagakure ANBU

She had arrived at the Office. And just when she had decided to take a little break, it seemed the Hokage had summoned her. Something that did made her worry. Not because she had to go on a mission or such. But to see him again. The first thought was on how she could try to avoid the meeting with the Fourth Hokage. However, there was little escape to it. He was her leader and she would need to follow his orders... And wishes. Swallowing, Harumi would go to his office.

In front of the door, her skin and clothes started to change shape. In what seemed countless amount of little paper, she started to break down. The paper started to crawl under the door and would form next to Suzuka, Harumi. She was on one knee with her head lowered. The cat mask on her face, to conceal the face of the ANBU. ''I have been summoned, Lord Hokage-sama?'' Harumi asked in a serious tone.

Jizo Uzuwaru
Kirgakure [Team 6]
Genin

Jizo stretched as he woke up, wondering how long he'd been sleep. A dim light reached through the mist that significantly shrouded Kirigakure day to day. Jizo sat up and yawned a bit more before he stood up to head for the door. He had been dreaming of the newest issues of babe magazines that had come in at the local general store and figured he'd make his way down there to look through a few, but never purchasing one. What a freeloader, right? Jizo tugged at the collar of his undershirt as he pulled one arm through his jacket as he pushed through the door of his home. His parents were always working, and for the most part, were never home much during the daytime. If Jizo did ever felt the need to talk to one of them, he'd surely have to do so at their places of work. As Jizo exited the house, pulling his other arm through his jacket, a messenger bird fluttered it's wings before Jizo. He extended his hand to obtain the small message the bird carried, smiling as the bird handed over the message.

[Team 2]
Ryi Heisui
Jizo Uzuwaru
Natsume Yuki

You are to convene on the morning dew Islet, east of the village. You will await further instructions there.

Jizo read the message under his breath as he rolled his eyes. "Great! The day the new issues of the babe mags at the general store come in, I have to actually do work." he mumbled, scratching his head as he let out another big yawn. Getting to meat his sensei and mates excited Jizo but babe mags did as well. The bikinis, the shining sun in the pictures, the smiles on their faces. He figured this is how the women behaved when they were able to feel the warmth of the sun. "Maybe this is why the women here are such meanies. They never get to feel the sun." he'd often say when skimming through the mags before the store owner threw him out for reading without buying. Jizo put his hands in the pocket and began to make his way to the islet on the eastern outskirts of the village. "Why there? he thought to himself as he kicked rocks, lazily dragging his feet up the road through the village.

It took him 45 minutes before reaching the islet, a bit longer than it should've. Yeah, the kids one heck of a genin but one heck of a sloth as well. Jizo could see the shaded figures of what looked to be 2 other students on the mass of land in the water. He stretched and proceeded to make his way across the bit of water, hands in his pockets as always. Upon reaching the brown, sandy shore of the island, he was able to get a better look at the figures he struggled to get a look at through the thick mist over the water. They were sparring, putting their skill out for show, and in the most modest fashion from what he could see. Jizo smirked at the sight and scratched his head, looking around for their sensei. He shrugged upon realizing the sensei was nowhere to be found. "Looks like he & I have a bit in common." Jizo said to himself as he crouched down to play in the sand, watching his 2 peers in between. "I'll let them finish before I go barging in." he said, yawning a bit more.

Haruhi Suzumori

Kirigakure Genin

Team 14

"''Our first mission to retrieve a scroll that has been taken by some bandits, after they managed to raid a simple trade ship. The scroll isn't that of big importance as it is about a simple water technique. However, its a mission where we need to take out the bandits. A mission that is your test. The hide-out is around twelve kilometers from the south of Kirigakure. Anybody has a question, heavy mental problem or urge to say something before we go? Then I know who is at least not capable of having a brain...''

Haruhi listened closely to the words of her sensei.. Her first day as a team and they were already sent on a mission that HAD to be higher than D-Ranked. It excited her to no end and she couldn't help the smile that came to her face. This is going to be so great! I'll get a chance to see what my teammates are capable of...and also, this will be a good test for me to see how ready i am to be a real shinobi like Hayashi sensei. I cannot let my team down! Then a thought came to her head but she frowned at her sensei's lats words. If she asked, would it make her look stupid or something? With a sigh she just kept the thought to herself. She didnt really want to look like an idiot.

But this particular matter was really troubling her. Hayashi sensei had said that they needed to "take out" those bandits. Did that mean they had to kill them? She didnt know if she had it in her if it came down to that. Killing people isint what she wanted to do as a shinobi...she wanted to protect others. And she had no right to choose wether another man or woman got to live another day. Even if they were bandits...she couldnt take their lives.

Ryu Heisui

Dew Islet

Ryu watched as his sparring partner jumped to the side and took almost no damage. He also saw the attack to the shoulder coming as well. He was still in mid swing and very little options were left for him to take. He could block the incoming attack or minimize damage. After wasting too much time thinking about how to act, Ryu's body began to act on it's own. He lifted his sword to block the attack and set it self up for an odd tactic. Once the kunai made contact with his sword, Ryu lifted his sheath and chucked it tomahawk style at Natsume's head. He then jumped back away from Natsume, Planted his sword into the ground, and began to form his hands into the Tiger had seal. Once he properly formed the hand seal, he released his chakra and announced, "Water Clone Jutsu." An almost perfect replica, of Ryu, raised its self from the water behind Natsume. He picked up his sword and got ready for another charge. This time she was going to face a two sided attack. Both Ryu and his clone charged at Natsume.
Just before either of the two Ryu's reached Natsume, Ryu noticed that there was a new presence on the small island. Without much delay, he took his sword and jammed it into the ground. He used Swift as a breaking mechanism and it had worked. He stopped a few feet short of Natsume. He then cancelled the water clone jutsu and the Ryu, that was charging from behind Natsume, melted into a muddy puddle on the ground. Ryu looked at Natsume and smiled. " I did say it was until our new teammate arrived. I'm a man of my word so I concede the match." He said with the smile still on his face.

Hiron Hon,
Konohagakure Jounin | Team 9

The team has assembled and heads out!

Hiron frowned at Mia's words. He slowly answered back. ''Neither did I saw myself as the type to settle down that... fast.'' He mumbled as he continued to look around. When Mia said she was ready to fight if needed, he simply nodded. It was good to noticed her fighting spirit had changed in the time he had been too busy. As he was about to suggest to go, he noticed somebody. It was the Nara. He came over as a bit nervous. Hiron simply glanced at how the ninken of Mia went to greet the new person. But Hiron said nothing. Simply nodding at the boy, he wondered about something.

And that something, which he was thinking about, appeared. Or rather, somebody. Masami Hyuuga. Hiron had noticed her as she approached the team. She came over as a bit more enthousastic. Not a surprise. She had been the student of Zakito and Hiroshi. Though not that very long, she also had received training from another Hon. Kiyomi wouldn't likely played around as she was just as serious as him in training. That meant that he shouldn't consider Masami as the Nara on basic genin level. This would be two interesting genins. Clearing his throat, Hiron spoke to the team. ''Listen up. My name is Hiron Hon. I will explain the ground rules of Team 9. Its a team that has held up a status of being a very disciplined team. That means that every form of what is the opposite will be punished. On spot.'' Hiron told them on a very serious tone. His gaze was mostly focused on the two genins. It wouldn't really be of importance to Mia. She would know better.

''Any kind of slacking or goofing around and you'll learn what it means to get on my bad side. In exchange for listening to every order, you can count that I'll try to keep you safe and guide you to become better shinobi. I also need to implore that this counts on trainings as well. I don't take it kindly if somebody is doing something that is against these simple and logic rules. Remember that well.'' A sound of lightning crackling through the air was heard briefly. Hiron turned around and beckoned them to follow him. ''You're all people who can talk and thus can interact. You already know my name. Now you can talk to each other, but stay focused. I will brief you on the way, but only do this one, so pay attention before you chit chatter.'' Hiron told them before running on a relative good pace towards the Main Gate. He wouldn't go too fast, but on a speed that they could keep up with him.

''Our mission is to stop a certain something from leaving the borders. Its a turtle that is kind of special. Not one that is easily subdued as he is also a very smart and cunning opponent. Already he has fooled again two teams of chuunins. Needles to say, this is a mission where you will be tested to see if you're material for Team 9.'' Hiron said, but he glanced at Mia. It was clear Hiron wanted her to have her lips sealed about something. He wasn't sure if she could remember it, but it was of importance she would in case she picked up something about his briefing.

Ryo Katsu,
Konohagakure Chuunin| Team 4

Walking out of his appartement, dressed in his chuunin garb, Ryo had a calm expression. His eyes half open, hands at the back of his head and a relatively slow pace, he was heading to the meeting spot of the team. He was wondering how Kensuke was doing. It did bothered him that he couldn't go on missions with Kensuke. They had grown like brothers together and though he never had said it or would admit it, Ryo looked up to Kensuke. In a way they both had common grounds and Kensuke had showed several times that giving up wasn't the right path. Not that Ryo ever had given up. But it was always inspiring to see or think about it. Sighing, he just hoped Kensuke would be fine with his new team. Which brought him to think about the current team. Tsubasa was now the team leader. Which would be interesting. Though he highly respected Kensuke and would follow him to the end of the world, he looked a bit lesser on the others. Tsubasa was a fine kunoichi, one he had a close bond with. But she wasn't Kensuke. It made Ryo ponder on how much he should follow Tsubasa's orders.

As he neared the meeting place, he just noticed Katsuko entering it. Seeing his best friend, without a flak jacket made Ryo grin. Seemed somebody's confidence was still the same. After a moment Katsuko had entered the place, Ryo showed up. Looking around, he noticed his team. Basically a team without Kensuke. That thought made his grin vanish for a moment. This morning Ryo had thought he wouldn't mind that much. But to not see the usual leader, there to lead them, made him a bit... disappointed. But he noticed Yumi. She was a known person to Team 4. He could remember the mission they had once done with the Hasewaga girl. He knew better than to fool around with her. ''Oi oi oi. Tsubasa, we're all here. What is the deal of today?'' Ryo asked, heading towards them. As he would sit down, he would softly bump Katsuko's shoulder with his fist before sitting down.

Satoshi Jun,
Kumogakure Specialized Jounin | Team 3

Bothersome

Walking out of the ramen shop, Satoshi frowned. It seemed that the third and final member was Kato, which wasn't a surprise to Satoshi. The only little surprise was that the genin started to charge him with a drawn kunai. Adding to that little problem was that the other male member on the team, Takeshi was attempting to land a knee on the chin of Kato. He had to say that the move of Takeshi was well aimed and would likely cause the other to stumble back if that would land.

Instead a hand held back the knee. Another grabbed the wrist of Kato, twisting it. Satoshi sighed as he looked at Kato. ''I don't have time for your illusions. Cut it out. If you're still like this, I prefer you to stay at home.'' Satoshi said with a serious tone. He then glanced at Takeshi. ''No need to try to protect me. Thanks for that though.'' He nodded to Takeshi. With the mastery of Iadõ, Satoshi had managed to move in and stop them both. He still kept Kato in check with a firm grip. ''I suggest we keep on moving. Lets go.'' With still having Kato's arm twisted, Satoshi would push the boy forward while they would head towards the training fields. Not to mention keeping an eye on the boy. It was already bothering enough that Kato was such a pain, but Satoshi wouldn't want to spend all his time on a boy that was suffering strange ideas. Maybe he could request the Raikage to erase Kato's memories? The ANBU were capable of that. At least then it wouldn't be a bother to keep Kato around.

Kimi Iomaski
Kirigakure ANBU.

On towards the Wolf Country!

Slowly the mask was put on her face. ''We're moving out.'' The serious voice said of the ANBU. The person was a woman, with short brown hair. The personal 'spymaster' of Rika Suzu. Kimi walked, wood making sounds as the boots of her and the retinue assigned to her were boarding a ship. It was a ship that looked like an ordinary Kirigakure vessel. Kimi was sure that nobody would find it strange that a ship from Kirigakure would travel towards the Honey country. From there, she would continue to head towards the Wolf Country. Hopefully, she could 'convince' the leader of the country to swear fealty to the Mizukage.

Soon she heard the commands of the captain as the ship would leave the docks. For a second, Kimi looked over her shoulder. The mist prevented sight over the Mizukage Office. But somehow, Kimi was very certain she knew that she was looking in the right direction. A light shiver ran down her spine. Rika had much faith in her. Maybe a bit too much? Kimi shrugged the thought off. For now they had to get to the Honey country. The country was already a vassal to the Mist, but it would be wise to go through it and make sure that no problem was present. With her group of nin, she was sure that it wouldn't be that much of a trouble. It was however the Wolf country that could present a trouble. It wasn't a poor country, so Kirigakure could use it as their vassal. But who said that Kumogakure hadn't gain the same idea? Kimi bite her lower lip.

If Kumogakure would be able to seize the Wolf Country as their vassal, that meant they had gained valuable ground. Sure, the Mist and Cloud weren't in a war or conflict. But if one got the upper hand over the other, it would mean that Kirigakure either could expand easier. Or that they had to turn to the South. Kimi wasn't sure what Rika would do in case Kumogakure would become a factor. ''Send a message to the Mizukage that we're leaving now... That she will get a rapport from me over two days. Regarding the Honey country.'' One of the men nodded as he would write down the note and then summon a hawk. The bird would bring the message towards the aviary that was near the Mizukage Office. Hopefully Rika wouldn't press more pressure on them as Kimi wanted to avoid rushing. ''Captain, make sure we reach the Honey country within a day.'' Kimi ordered, to which the captain laughed and told her that they were blessed with a good wind, so that was possible.

Blessed by a good wind? Kimi looked at the endless waves. I wish I could say the same... I wish I could. She thought as she leaned forward and kept staring at the waves of the sea.

Aiko Cho-Hon
Konohagakure leader of Team 8

Seemed that both Koike and Mamoru could get along. That was good. Taking a sip of her tea, Aiko smiled when Koike asked his question. ''For now it is just. Which makes me need to say that we need to head out. Seeing you're both experienced genin, I think I won't need to test your abilities.'' Aiko told them. Taking out some money to put it on the table, for the tea, she began to brief the two. ''We have get a report about some trouble in the east of the Fire union. We need to travel towards the Hot Spring country to search for signals of trouble and see if we can help the population in any way possible. Any questions before we head out?'' Aiko asked, looking at the two of them, with a warm smile.

Yumi Hasewaga
ANBU operative, Team 4

Yumi eyed Katsuko, who had entered the place. Not soon after him, Ryo entered the place. Yumi nodded at them both. She was wondering how they would feel about her being part of the team now. After all, their team was now a specialized ANBU auxiliary team. Meaning they were more or less used for more important missions that they were suitable for. Yumi wondered briefly how Tsubasa would lead them and on what kind of mission. ''Hi guys.'' Yumi reacted back. She tried to sound a bit cheerful, polite but it wasn't the effect she desired. Instead it sounded like her it was a bit of forced.

''So, now we are all here, what kind of mission do you have for us, Tsubasa?'' Yumi asked, eyeing her team leader. It had been so long since she had been part of a team. To view somebody as her leader, other than Hisoka, felt a bit odd. But she would just likely get used to the idea that Tsubasa would give her orders now. Besides, Tsubasa was a fine kunoichi. Her profile held a good record. About each of the members of the team. It made Yumi wonder about the present team 2. The team she had been in before becoming an apprentice in the ANBU corps. Trying to focus, Yumi would listen to what would be said.

Hisoka Uchiha

Yondaime Hokage

It was an interesting day for the city.

As Hisoka stood by his window and watched the streets stretch out before him his thoughts went to the fresh Genin that would take their next step into the ninja world today. They would meet their sensei and start training. They would complete missions and fight battles. They would gain friends and allies and make enemies. Suddenly it seemed not so long ago that Hisoka had been arriving on a trainingsfield, ready to meet his new squadmembers. For a moment he closed his eyes and send a word up to the sky for their lives. Where they happy in whatever afterlife there was? If there was even any. He hoped they were.

A distrubance in the barrier around him and Hisoka turned as his ANBU appeared into the room. The city might experience a new fresh day, for him it was business as usual and there were missions to hand out. Suzaku arrived first, flickering into existance before him, dropping on one knee. "Yes, I did." He said in respons to the question of the man. "Please wait."

The wait was only moments as paper filtered through the room. For a split second Hisoka looked pained, but then his face was back to the professional face that the Hokage should wear. Harumi. He hadn't seen her for a long time. Not since then. "So you have." He said standing tall before his two subordinates. So far there was no sight of Sakamoto, but no matter. He would fill in the man with details later. "I have a mission for each of you." He turned to Suzaku as he stepped forward to his desk and took of a folded sheet of paper.

"I want you to deliver this message to the Raikage and I want it given to him and him alone. It is time I had a meeting with the ruler of the Country of Lightning about our trades. I want it done swiftly." Hisoka handed the message to Suzaku. "If that is understood you are dismissed. When you come back report to me or my assistant directly."

After Suzaku left Hisoka turned to Harumi. His face was emotionless. "I want you to check out the borders of the Wind Country for me. Take a small squad and make sure our security is in perfect state, anything that is not right should be fixed. You will have the authority over that. We can't have surprises coming to us from that side. To ensure this I'd like to give you an extra mission. The first one will guide as your cover to complete this second one. It would be very convenient for us to know what the Land of Wind is currently trying to achieve. To now this we could use a good source. I'm sure a ninja of the Sand would love to tell you quite a few things with the right motivation. I assume you get that this is top secret and cannot be known to anyone. Understood? If so you are dismissed. You are free to take the people you want as long as you understand that this second part is for you alone."

Sakamoto Senju

"Shhh, don't you worry now, Daddy won't be gone for too long. I will bring you a little something on my way back." A fairly tall, white haired man said to the small infant in his hands. Sakamoto still had a hard time believing she was his to take care of, and to raise. Now he understood the joy Zakito and Hiron experienced, and he couldn't have been happier. Knowing he has to leave soon, as he was already late, getting the message over half an hour ago, he begin placing his infant daughter back into her crib, and nodded to the nanny who came to take care of her until Meisa gets home. He heard a small noise from Mayumi, so he bent over and gave her a kiss on her forehead, and as he got up he noticed she was now silent and asleep. Smiling, he went and grabbed his ANBU outfit, made sure he found his mask and left the house.

As he made his way to the Hokage's Office, he wondered what mission Hisoka had for him now. Hoping it won't be something too far away, he sped up and soon enough was standing on a rooftop in front of the office. He jumped from it and landed in front of the window, before going through an open one he found just behind Hisoka's desk after he saw his old friend finishing with another member of the ANBU, Harumi. He approached Hisoka from behind with his mask on his head, but not covering his face, placed his right hand on Hisoka's left shoulder and gave him a smile "Good Morning, Hisoka." He said and took a step back from the Hokage.

Chou Minori

A mission already. Their sensei did not wait a single moment to toss them into some action. So this would allow her to see her team members fight, and learn what do they prefer using and such, as well as perhaps see their weaknesses. She figured that moment she fought it would be easy for them to see the most biggest weakness she has, so she had no point in saying it out loud. Her sensei also pointed out that they needed to take the bandits out, which didn't bother Chou one bit. The less people in the world, the less chance of them getting in her way when she does decides to set out and find what she wants to find.

She took out her smaller scroll and opened it, beginning to look over the tools stored in it, to ensure she hasn't forgotten any tools back at her apartment. Chou decided that until their sensei tells them its time to go, she has time to make sure she is all set to leave, but she didn't want to open the medium scroll in front of her team just yet, hoping to keep its contents a secret from them, for now.
Yoshikuni Sadako

"Well... I am an earth style user, so any lightning jutsus are effective against me, and Water jutsus can also interfere with some of my jutsus. I know how to move underground very well, so thats an advantage, but I do not know how to counter genjutsu too well, and I have never tried fighting with any proper sword, so I have no idea on how will be with those either. Besides that, I don't think there is anything about my weakness and strengths." She said before giving a small smile to both her sensei and teammate.

It took her a couple of moments before she realised she only filled half of what Eiji told them to do "Oh! My name is Yoshikuni Sadako, but people call me Kuni. I grew up here since I was little, and I never knew my dad because he left my mom before I was born, and I helped her since I was little with her business, and managed to travel the world quite a bit while doing so. She died a bit more than a year and a half ago, and I had a hard time dealing with it, but Eiji helped me, and now I live on my own with support from the village, and I am only 14 years old." Kuni said before making sure she stayed next to Eiji and Shiro while on the go. She had no trouble keeping up with them, and she noticed Shiro had no problem either, so at least they had a team of fast travelers.

Kumori Yotsuki
Kumogakure Genin
Team 5

A man with violet eyes and hair as white as snow watched a boy with similar features. The man's soft eyes watched as his son meditated on a rock in the center of a shallow stream, running just a few feet from their home. A woman with dark brown eyes and hair wrapped an arm around his shoulders and whispered into his ear, "Agi, he's asleep again."

The man looked closer at his son, noticing how he was bent over slightly and beginning to tip to one side. Her sensing was as good as ever. Laughing, the man hugged his wife and said back, "So he is. Do we let him sleep? He's been at it for hours today, and it's only morning."

"He deserves it, but he can't today. In an hour he's supposed to meet with his new team leader and teammates." The woman made a handseal, and a wave of water came down the stream, knocking Kumori off his rock and into the cold water. "Don't want him to be late for an important day."

...

"I'm late I'm late I'm late!" Kumori raced down the steep slope at reckless speed, not wanting to be the last one to show up to meet his teammates. First impressions were important. The path took a sudden turn, following the edge of the cliff, and Kumo almost ran right off the edge. At the last second, he fell backwards, stabbed a kunai into the ground, and slingshotted around to follow the path. No way was he going to slow down, that wouldn't be as fun, or get him there as soon.

A minute later, a young boy with white hair and the violet eyes of his father burst into the clearing of the training field and, barring some amazing reaction speed, ran right into the only possible thing he could have run into: his new teammate who had arrived before him. "Hiya! Kumori Yotsuki is present!" Kumo waved energetically at his teammate, despite already being far inside his bubble of personal space. Kumo hadn't seen the young man sitting atop the rock nearby, so he assumed that the slightly older Genin before him was his teacher.

Natsume Yuki

Dew Islet

Natsume had already prepared her jutsu, and the close contact was all she needed. But just as she got ready to unleash a point blank Water release: gunshot She had to duck a soaring sheath. When Ryu summoned his water clone Natsume had become aware of it and immediately turned toward it and Let out her Gunshot blasting a small amount of chakra infused water with enough force and pressure to pierce the clones next, effectively dispelling it. She spun back toward the real Ryu lauching a spinning back kick but as soon as he stopped she rose unto the ball of her planted foot so he kick went straight over his head. "i'm sure we will have time to do it again" she didnt smile, but if he was observant enough he might notice the light in her eyes. She put her kunai back into its holster holster. your pretty fast she was trying to complement him but like she had mentioned previously. She isnt good with people. She turned towards the direction of the new teammate. When she stepped toward him he became aware of another presence. someone else was watching them as well. Ryu...there is one more She whispered so that only he could hear her.

Hyuuga Ezuri

Not long after Ezuri started Running his sensei called him back and sat down on a log. "Before we begin, I suggest you introduce yourselves. I'll start. My name is Kensuke Nimatsu, and I am a jounin of Konohagakure. I am 20 years old and come from the Village of Talons to the West. I like drawing and watching all kinds of movies. I am pretty good at kenjutsu, and pretty average at the rest." Ezuri sat down next to him, "My name is Hyuuga Ezuri, son of Yasuke and Himana. recently graduated Genin. I'm fifteen, this is due to growing up outside of konoha. I excel at Taijutsu and Kenjutsu and am fairly adept in using Byakugan related techniques. Other Jutsu and use of weapons is just average although my teacher says i have pretty good chakra control I get exhausted easily." Maruki pondered for a moment about what he was going to say but couldn't not think of anything more. he looked at his cute little teammate "your turn i guess"

Raion Torikumu

The day had rather helpfully reflected the general mood in Raion's mind, that being particularly bright and elated. Outside the sun beat down on the hard surface of Kumogakure and people everywhere were gearing up for whatever day they had planned. The boy awoke with a massive grin on his face, and gravity barely managed to drag him back down as he bolted out of bed and landed with a determined thud, before bounding off down the hall of his simple family home.

In a matter of seconds he was at the dining table and enjoying a particularly hearty meal, prepared to celebrate his first full day as a genin and inauguration to Team 5. Clearly the best team and future legends. Especially Raion. After exchanging some rather pleasant and easy conversation with his family, Raion jumped into shoes and threw on his favourite dark green jacket, before attaching his beloved sword to his back. He felt ready, and so stepped toward the door. Only to be stopped by his father clearing his throat very loudly.

"Challenge Nine," was all that he said.

Raion's shoulders slumped and he let out a sigh, before meekly exiting.

******

As people went about their regular business, they were greeted by the odd sight, and occasional sounds, of a young boy struggling with what appeared to be a massive block of wood across his shoulders and walking along. It must have been at least two meters in length and about a foot in width, with two extra weights dangling from either side. New additions. Now that he was a Genin his father had made the daily challenges more difficult, but had failed to tell Raion exactly what he had added to each one. He missed the old plank.

Still, he shuffled along, letting out a groan every now and again as the sheer weight pressed down on him. Now the once happy Sun was an annoyance, the hard soil unkind, the warmth unrelenting. But still, he was determined to reach his destination. His team had been instructed to meet at a training field, chosen by their teacher. He wished they had chosen a closer one. As he began the arduous climb up the winding path, Raion was beset upon by a mini speeding maniac, who's tuft of white hair went past him in a blur. The sudden intrusion sent Raion off balance and almost caused him to topple over. After a few seconds of desperately balancing, he managed to compose himself in time to shout; "Hey! Watch where you're going you idiot!"

When he finally did arrive Raion was utterly heart-broken to see that he wasn't the first one there. No, in fact, Tsuyoshi was there already, along with another boy whom he now recognised as Kumori but also realised was the one who had almost caused his collapse not moments ago. Which could only mean one thing.

'We're on the same team'

Raion was part aggravated, part excited. The chance to better his main swordsman-rival on a daily basis was titillating! But the fact he had lost their first challenge, being the first to arrive, was infuriating. Huffing loudly to announce his arrival, Raion dumped the wooden plank down in front of him, sending up a puff of dust. Craning his back, the boy looked sideways at Tsuyoshi and shot him a devilish smile, a glint in his eyes, before doing the same to Kumori and giving a little thumbs-up. Then he turned to their teacher and introduced himself.

"Raion Torikumu, Master Swordsman and all-round supremo, present and correct!"

He snapped his feet together and gave a salute in a notably mock fashion, before relaxing again.

Nori Osamu - Team 5 Leader

Well this is certainly a unique bunch, Nori thought to himself as the three students all arrived within minutes of each other. Though, he remained quiet as he finished his coffee. The plan was coming together in his head, and he wanted that established before even starting. By the time he was done, the tall black-haired man set the cup down on the rock and stood up. "Good morning. My name is Nori Osamu, you may call me whatever you may. Unless it is derogatory in which I will sort that out swiftly. I will be your new sensei," he introduced himself. After a quick examination of their expressions, to determine which ones were taking him seriously and which weren't, he continued. "Since this is our first day, it is imperative that we learn a bit about each other. We could sit in a circle and all talk about our families and plans and whatnot, but I think I have developed a more proactive method for establishing such relations." Nori approached the genin, and as Kumori was the nearest he gave the boy a light poke to the forehead.

"We're going to play a game of tag." With that, Nori took a step backward and turned around, leaving his back to the genin. "The object is simple. You three are to work together and display your abilities, so that you can understand each others' boundaries, in an effort to win the game. Failure to win will have varying punishments depending on the severity, but if you three manage to capture me you will all be rewarded. The reward? I'm not telling." Before any of the kids could try to sneak attack him, Nori raised one of his hands with all his fingers spread out. "You all know how the game works in essence. Don't forget that I get a ten second head start..." Though they could not see it, a smirk appeared on Nori's face. "You have 12 hours to catch me. Starting in ten... nine..." With the countdown started, Nori assumed the genin could count the rest. And as he trailed off, he began to walk casually across the field, slowly and calmly, with his back still on his students.

Ryoku Samidare

Amegakure is on the move !

" Yes, thank you, Jurgo-san. If you could, please send notes to Sho Deshuga, Kira Sami and Rini Yoto that their Sensei will be a bit late, and I would like to ask them to be patient just a little bit longer. That will be all, thank you."

Just as Jurgo left his office, Ryoku was finished with the papers on his table. Several charts, most of them with numbers he could call great, some with horrible numbers. He was determined to work all of the numbers into the great zone. He started that as soon as he officially assumed the role of Amekage and finally, his work showed of at least partial results. He placed a big pile of scrolls aside and stood up, walking to the window that offered him a perfect view over Amegakure. Some of the larger buildings were still worked upon, but the village was up and running at peak efficiency. Well, peak efficiency under the current circumstances. He set his plans into motion several months ago, and they finally allowed him to progress into the next stage. Just as he was going to turn back to the papers on his desk, he heard a knock on his door.

The ANBU operatives arrived just on time. Ryoku wanted to further press the interest of his village with its neighboring states and their villages, this time with The Fang Vilalge. Ryoku made some attempts in the past, but this time he was about to do it in a more serious manner. He would send his ANBU operatives on a two way mission. They will be working as a team, but each on their separate mission. He will elaborate it in the meeting that was about to take place.

" Come in."

Leo Hasewaga

Leo frowned, " I know, you can't fool anyone though." The frown turned into a soft smile, "You need to be a better actor....Where is everyone?" He opened in arms freely and span around slowly. He had slept well, ate well and even felt well on this very day. He had a feeling on his shoulder, whenever he got that feeling he would call it a lucky feeling, he believed the day would go well, maybe even a mission. "Why did you bring Samehada today?" He questioned politely.
