Play what you want would be my advice. If there are a lot of support divisions then the PC team will certainly have an advantage in playing long, grindy battles.

@ClocktowerEchos Given the setting, how would you feel about my Air Cavalry being mostly a drone force? Automated recon drones in place of the recon helicopters, small robotic hunter-killers in place of the cavalry/motorcycles and larger hunter-killers in place of the medium tanks?

Basically, could I play as SkyNet?

@ClocktowerEchos have to drop my interest in this, not enough time on my end as well it has taken a bit of a dive away from what I was interested in as far as setting/aesthetic. Good luck, I'll keep an eye on this and read the posts once they start up!

Air Cavalry is still just helicopter infantry, that's not going to change. Hunter-Killers are one use weapons if I remember and are basically robotic suicide bombers which would require the Do or Die doctrine to allow it.

I've decided, in light of the fact that our tiny people don't have to be human, that I'm going to have dwarves. Dwarves with lots of artillery and engineers, so a dwarf support division. If anyone has any quarrels with such I would appreciate if you brought them up before I get too much further into my writing and thinking.

I would quarrel with that, but the last time I tried quarrelling with a dwarf I ended up in the Book of Grudges.

So I have a question.

If I used the three required slots for a supply truck, ambulance, and super heavy tank, could I in theory fuse the three vehicles into one super tank base thing? I personally am enamored to the idea of needlessly huge vehicles with piles of dakka and even some living space, perhaps due to Mad Max, or the orkish battlewagon, but regardless.
May I have a single vehicle, which takes up two support and a heavy armor slot, that is a supply vehicle, ambulance, and super heavy tank? Ah, and of course I'd also have the doctrine for super heavy tanks as well of course.

Like a Uef fat boy? Maybe without the super heavy short battleship guns.

Production facilities, Sheilds and such. Heavy guns too but able to create or maintain units in combat.

(though that was a cool inspiration for the idea)

@PrinceAlexus That would be less of a unit and more of a division of its own lol

Still interested. I've just been rather lacking in time to make unit cards and to come up with a theme. That part's finalised though. The Blanket Brigade will be forming soon to join the team.

This seems decently interesting, I might join this. How do you plan on having this be RP'd? I'm curious and would quite like to know how you plan on having this play out
