I’m still mulling over when exactly I want to really drive home that “this isn’t Yokohama anymore” outside of hints and little snippets of clues. Do I want to have something happen during the night to turn the dial up or see what kind of character development and bonding we can do before we get to that point? Being a GM is hard sometimes.

That’s an idea. I could also just have comical moments where it’s a generic spider that the least brave member of the protagonists discovers on their face in the middle of the night. I think really sinking our teeth into those slice of life/comedy moments could be fun. But I do need to slowly ease characters into their abilities. I mean, every single one of these characters has had their physiology changed to peak human conditioning. So they have a lot more stamina, strength, vitality, and the like then they did before they left Japan.

Perhaps one of them gets super scared and just begins running for far longer than what they are able. Considering they're kind of shut-ins, maybe it would be understandable that they should have gotten tired faster.

Or perhaps on their adventure to civilization, they don't need as many breaks.

Or just throw a monster at them.

I think it is in freeform posting until you guys want to do something that causes me to describe/advance the scene and give you more to work with.

So, in addition to not being able to sleep, I did this. I added them to the characters tab. They could look well for post headers, plus they’re not oversized.

By the way, Kai's totally giving you all dumb nicknames. I haven't really worked out the other two perfectly in my head yet, but Toshinari is definitely gonna be Toto.

Well, I was thinking something like Hiro or Hero, but that doesn't really sound dumb enough. Then again, Izuna might just end up as Izzy, so yeah, you might be stuck with normal sounding ones unless inspiration strikes me like it did with Toto's Bizarre Adventure...
