I believe what has to be noted is that there is really two (maybe three) types of ERPs.

Firstly you will have the erotica, or literotica cause that's a cool word...




On a slightly more serious note, I think people should keep it private in most situations...

On second thought @Lady Amalthea pretty much summed up my own thoughts regarding the matter.

And then this is what happens when two of those 'I only wanna JACK/SHLICK MY ASS OFF and not WRITE' people meet and agree to roleplay...


The question is, how does one advertise that as a highly literate chap/chapette, not only do we desire to shlick, we also desire to create a literary work of art? ... and now I kinda wanna try making a copypasta on the subtle intricacies of ERP lol.

@Sanctus Spooki well for starters, you stay away from RPG and move towards a more suitable website specifically catering to more literate erotica. Secondarily, you begin paying closer attention to your partners and vet them more extremely to weed out the impure ones who do not write at your level.

I think you've confused the pure and impure tbh. Us pure folk could hardly write a sentence you'd find in an erotic novel, or read a page, without feeling the need to wash our hands and bleach our eyes.

I was referring more to those of inadequate writing skill being impure, but honestly, saying you should just weed out those who wanna write the sexu when you're explicitly looking for the sexu sexu big time with a literate tint to it is way funnier.

I personally don't understand the appeal of ERP. I've never attempted it myself, but I've come across a few "smutty" stories and I don't find anything very sexy about them. Maybe they're better with more. . talented writers though.

Basically, my thoughts on ERP are actually pretty positive. I do like it because it gives off more detailing similar to stories that are in that field. But I also know it is not for everyone and when it comes to this I would ask my partners of interest about it and see if they want to or not, for me I enjoy ERP's and I do search for this at times but if both parties like it then with arms wide open bring it in the RP or ERP at that point.
